Objective·To analyze the clinicopathologic characteristics of patients with kidney-involved diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), including clinical characteristics, pathological characteristics, gene mutation profiles, and prognostic factors.Methods·One hundred and forty-nine patients with kidney-involved DLBCL, admitted to Ruijin Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine from July 2005 to November 2021, were retrospectively analyzed for their clinicopathological data, survival and prognostic factors, which included therapeutic methods, clinical outcomes, staging, etc. Gene mutation profiles were evaluated by targeted sequencing of 54 lymphoma-related genes. Prognostic factors were also analyzed based on the information mentioned above.Results·A total of 149 kidney-involved DLBCL cases were included, of which 89 patients (58.4%) were aged over sixty, 121 patients (81.2%) were staged Ann Arbor Ⅲ‒Ⅳ, 27 patients (18.1%) had an Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG) performance status of two or more, 121 patients (81.2%) had elevated serum lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) level, 111 patients (74.5%) had extranodal invasion in at least two organs and 131 patients (87.9%) scored over 2 points on the international prognosis index (IPI). The estimated 5-year overall survival (OS) rate and progression-free survival (PFS) rate of kidney-involved DLBCL patients were 52.2% and 50.4% respectively. Univariate analysis revealed that elevated serum LDH levels were an adverse prognostic factor for both OS (P=0.048) and PFS (P=0.033). In pathological characteristics, 145 patients (97.3%) belonged to DLBCL, not otherwise specified (NOS) and 39 patients (26.3%) belonged to germinal center B-cell (GCB) according to Hans classification. Among 144 patients who could be evaluated for clinical outcomes, 87 patients (60.4%) got complete response (CR). Targeted sequencing data from 75 kidney-involved DLBCL patients showed high mutation frequency in PIM1 (n=23, 31%), MYD88 (n=22, 29%), CD79B (n=21, 28%) and KMT2D (n=18, 24%), with CD79B mutation indentified as an adverse prognostic factor for OS in patients with kidney-involved DLBCL (P=0.034).Conclusion·Elevated serum LDH level is an adverse prognostic factor in patients with kidney-involved DLBCL. The prognosis of patients with CD79B mutations is poor.

Objective·To analyze the clinicopathologic characteristics, gene mutation profile, and prognostic factors of thyroid diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL).Methods·From November 2003 to December 2021, a total of 66 patients with thyroid DLBCL [23 cases (34.8%) with primary thyroid DLBCL, and 43 cases (65.2%) with secondary thyroid DLBCL] admitted to Ruijin Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine were retrospectively analyzed for their clinicopathological data, survival and prognostic factors. Gene mutation profiles were evaluated by targeted sequencing (55 lymphoma-related genes) in 40 patients.Results·Compared to primary thyroid DLBCL, secondary thyroid DLBCL had advanced ratio of Ann Arbor stage Ⅲ‒Ⅳ (P=0.000), elevated serum lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) (P=0.043), number of affected extranodal involvement ≥2 (P=0.000), non-germinal center B cell (non-GCB) (P=0.030), BCL-2/MYC double expression (DE) (P=0.026), and international prognostic index (IPI) 3‒5 -scores (P=0.000). The proportion of patients who underwent thyroid surgery (P=0.012) was lower than that of patients with primary thyroid DLBCL. The complete remission (CR) rate in primary thyroid DLBCL patients was higher than that in secondary thyroid DLBCL patients (P=0.039). Fifty-five patients (83%) received rituximab combined with cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine, and prednisone (R-CHOP)-based first-line regimen. The estimated 5-year progression free survival (PFS) rate of primary thyroid DLBCL patients was 95.0%, higher than the 49.7% of the secondary patients (P=0.010). Univariate analysis showed that Ann Arbor Ⅲ‒Ⅳ (HR=4.411, 95%CI 1.373‒14.170), elevated LDH (HR=5.500, 95%CI 1.519‒19.911), non-GCB (HR=5.291, 95%CI 1.667‒16.788), and DE (HR=6.178, 95%CI 1.813‒21.058) were adverse prognostic factors of PFS in patients with thyroid DLBCL. Ann Arbor Ⅲ‒Ⅳ (HR=7.088, 95%CI 0.827‒60.717), elevated LDH (HR=6.982, 95%CI 0.809‒60.266), and DE (HR=18.079, 95%CI 1.837‒177.923) were adverse prognostic factors of overall survival (OS). Multivariate analysis showed that Ann Arbor Ⅲ‒Ⅳ (HR=4.693, 95%CI 1.218‒18.081) and elevated LDH (HR=5.058, 95%CI 1.166‒21.941) were independent adverse prognostic factors of PFS in patients with thyroid DLBCL. Targeted sequencing data showed mutation frequency >20% in TET2 (n=14, 35%), KMT2D (n=13, 32%), TP53 (n=11, 28%), GNA13 (n=10, 25%), KMT2C (n=9, 22%), and TP53 were adverse prognostic factors of PFS in patients with thyroid DLBCL (P=0.000).Conclusion·Patients with primary thyroid DLBCL have better PFS and OS than those with secondary thyroid DLBCL. Ann Arbor Ⅲ‒Ⅳ, elevated LDH, non-GCB, and DE (MYC and BCL2) are adverse prognostic factors in thyroid DLBCL. TET2, KMT2D, TP53, GNA13, and KMT2C are commonly highly mutated genes in thyroid DLBCL, and the prognosis of patients with TP53 mutations is poor.

Accumulating evidence has shown that the apoptosis of trophoblast cells plays an important role in the pathogenesis of preeclampsia, and an intricate interplay between DNA methylation and polycomb group (PcG) protein-mediated gene silencing has been highlighted recently. Here, we provide evidence that the expression of nervous system polycomb 1 (NSPc1), a BMI1 homologous polycomb protein, is significantly elevated in trophoblast cells during preeclampsia, which accelerates trophoblast cell apoptosis. Since NSPc1 acts predominantly as a transcriptional inactivator that specifically represses HOXA11 expression in trophoblast cells during preeclampsia, we further show that NSPc1 is required for DNMT3a recruitment and maintenance of the DNA methylation in the HOXA11 promoter in trophoblast cells during preeclampsia. In addition, we find that the interplay of DNMT3a and NSPc1 represses the expression of HOXA11 and promotes trophoblast cell apoptosis. Taken together, these results indicate that the cooperation between NSPc1 and DNMT3a reduces HOXA11 expression in preeclampsia pathophysiology, which provides novel therapeutic approaches for targeted inhibition of trophoblast cell apoptosis during preeclampsia pathogenesis.

Objective: To solve the problem of tobacco leaf residues produced during the production of tobacco extracts. Methods: Maillard reaction was carried out using aqueous extracts from cigar tobacco leaf residues as raw materials, and the effects of amino acid dosage and reaction time on the chemical composition of the Maillard reaction products and the sensory quality of cigarettes were systematically investigated. The relationship between the 18 components of the Maillard reaction product and the sensory index of cigarettes was also investigated. Results: ① Based on sensory effects, the optimal reaction conditions for the Maillard reaction based on cigar tobacco aqueous extract were: 10.00 g of aqueous extract, 0.74 g of aspartic acid, 0.08 g of glutamic acid, 0.5 g of glucose, temperature 110 ℃, reaction time 3 h. ②Compared to the aqueous extract, the Maillard reaction products contain significantly more 5-hydroxymethylfurfural, hydroxyacetone, furfural, 5-methylfurfural, 2-acetyl pyrrole and 2,5-diformylfuran. ③ Among the 18 compounds, 2-acetylfuran was significantly correlated with fine softness, 3-hydroxy-2-butanone and 3-acetyl pyridine were significantly and highly significantly correlated with milkiness, 2-furanylhydroxymethyl ketone, 5-hydroxymethylfurfural and 2,3-dihydro-3,5-dihydroxy-6-methyl-4（H）-pyran-4-one were significantly or highly significantly correlated with floral aroma, while 6-ethyl-5,6-dihydro-2H-pyran-2-one was significantly and negatively correlated with miscellaneous aroma, irritation, bitterness and hay aroma indicators. Conclusion: Through the Maillard reaction, the aroma content of the aqueous extract of tobacco was increased, which enhances the roasted and burnt aromas in cigarettes and strengthens the style of cigars.

The object detection algorithm based on deep learning has good recognition performance in foreign object detection. But the model memory requirement is large and the detection speed is slow. The lightweight deep learning networks can significantly reduce model memory requirements and improve detection speed. But their detection precision is low in weak light environments underground. In order to solve the above problems, a real-time foreign object detection algorithm for belt conveyors based on Faster-YOLOv7 is proposed. By using the contrast limited adaptive histogram equalization (CLAHE) with limited contrast for image enhancement, the contrast of foreign objects in low light environments is improved. Lightweight design of the YOLOv7 backbone network based on Mobilenetv3 is carried out to reduce the computational and parameter load of the YOLOv7 model. By adding an effective channel attention mechanism, the method alleviates the problem of high-level feature information loss caused by a decrease in the number of feature channels. Alpha-IoU is used as the loss function to improve the precision of foreign object detection. The experimental results show the following points. ① The initial loss of Faster-YOLOv7 is 0.143, and the final stability is around 0.039. ② The detection speed of Faster-YOLOv7 can reach 42 frames/s, which is 17 and 20 frames/s higher than YOLOv5 and YOLOv7, respectively. Faster-YOLOv7 has a memory of 14 MiB, which is 29 and 57 MiB lower than YOLOv5 and YOLOv7, respectively. The detection accuracy reaches 91.3%, which is 8.8% higher than YOLOv5. ③Applying SSD, YOLOv5, lightweight YOLOv7, and Faster-YOLOv7 object detection algorithms to the coal conveying images and videos of underground belt conveyors in coal mines, it is found that SSD misses detection during video detection. YOLO series models effectively recognized the foreign objects to be tested, and Faster-YOLOv7 recognition results has a higher confidence level.

Objective: This study aimed to improve the safety supervision of cadmium in milk samples. Methods: A liquid-liquid microextraction method based on hydrophobic deep eutectic solvent （DES） was developed for the determination of cadmium in milk samples by graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry. The types of deep eutectic solvents were selected for high extraction efficiencies and it was found that DES composed of thymol and lactic acid at the molar ratio of 1∶1 provided higher extraction efficiency. In addition, several important experimental conditions including the volume of DES, sample pH value, the pretreatment methods of samples were optimized. Results: Under the optimized conditions, Cd had good linearity in the range of 0~3.0 ng/mL, and the correlation coefficient was 0.998. The detection limit was 0.02 μg/kg. The recoveries ranged from 94.7% to 113.0% with relative standard deviations （RSD） of 0.38%~7.00%. Conclusion: With the advantages of simplicity, rapidness, exactness and low detection limit, this method could be used for the detection of cadmium in milk samples.

ObjectiveTo analyze the characteristics of sudden death associated with sexual activity to provide recommendations for forensic identification.MethodsA retrospective analysis was conducted on autopsy cases accepted by Forensic Identification Center of Huazhong University of Science and Technology from 1998 to 2018, and a total of 15 cases of sudden death associated with sexual activity were screened out. The general information, case data and pathological changes of 15 cases were collected to find the relationship between sexual activity and sudden death.ResultsThe ratio of male to female was 1.5∶1. The average age of males was 50.1 years and that of females was 35.0 years. Coronary artery diseases and brain diseases accounted for most of the cases （12/15）. Sexual partners were associated with locations of deaths and body dumping behaviors.ConclusionSudden death associated with sexual activity, although rare, may occur in people over 30 years old with pre-existing heart or brain diseases, which should be paid attention to in forensic practice.

The non-contact bulk material accumulation detection method has problems, such as slow detection speed, low detection precision in image fuzzy scene, large memory requirement of deep learning model. In order to solve the above problems, a video real-time detection method of bulk material accumulation on belt conveyor based on lightweight Mask-RCNN (mask region-based convolutional neural network) is proposed. Firstly, the collected image is preprocessed by the dark channel prior algorithm to reduce the image fogging phenomenon caused by dust in the transportation and loading process and improve the image edge features. The traditional Mask-RCNN backbone network ResNet can not meet the requirement of real-time detection of bulk material accumulation on an embedded platform. In order to solve this problem, the defogging preprocessed image is input into the backbone network based on MobileNetV2 + feature pyramid network (FPN) for feature extraction. The feature graph is generated. The backbone network is designed to be lightweight. The backbone network is deployed on the embedded platform to collect image data in real-time for instance segmentation. In order to find the edge of the segmented object more accurately, a method of adding edge loss in the mask branch of traditional Mask-RCNN is proposed. The mask is generated by using full convolutional network layer. The edge loss function is constructed by combining the Scharr operator. The segmentation image is obtained by fusing object classification, bounding box regression and semantic information. Finally, the bulk material accumulation detection is realized by judging whether the pixel value in the bulk material accumulation mask exceeds a preset threshold value. The experimental results show that the memory requirement of the proposed method is reduced to 1/5 of that of the model taking ResNet 101 as the backbone network. The average precision mean value after image defogging pre-processing is increased by 8%. The average detection time of one image is 0.56 s, the detection precision can reach 91.8%.

[Purpose / Significance] In recent years, China's trademark agency service industry has been developing rapidly. However, neither national standards nor industry standards have been established for trademark agency services. This study aims to provide insights into the ways of improviding China's trademark agency service quality management. What's worse, the normalization of agency services is unsatisfactory and the quality of agency service is uneven. [Method / Process]Based on the SERVQUAL scale, this paper builds a seven-dimensional evaluation index system of service quality of trademark agent by adding two evaluation indicators, namely "service remediation" and "management information system". Meanwhile, we took Q Company's trademark agency service business as the research object for empirical analysis. [Results / Conclusions] The result shows that the overall service quality of Q company's trademark agency is acceptable, but there is still room for improvement in the specific seven dimensions of the evaluation index system. On this basis, it proposes the improvement measures for the establishment of a comprehensive service quality management system, the establishment of a standard system for agency service, the further optimization of the management information system and the improvement of the comprehensive service capabilities of personnel.

Introduction Spinal cord injury (SCI) alters the integrity of the spinal cord, which leads to loss of multiple organs’ function including locomotor function. The present study evaluates the protective effect of tabersonine against SCI. Material and methods SCI was induced by traumatic injury and animals were treated with tabersonine 20 and 40 mg/kg, intraperitoneally for the period of 10 days. Tabersonine’s effect was determined by estimating locomotor and neurological function in spinal cord injured rats. Moreover, mediators of inflammation were estimated using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) and the effect of tabersonine on Notch/inflammasome signaling was estimated by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR), western blot assay and immunohistochemistry. Apoptosis of neuronal cells was estimated by staining with Nissl stain on spinal cord tissue in SCI rats. Results Data of the study suggest that neurological and motor functions were improved in the tabersonine treated group compared to the spinal cord injured (SI) group. There was a decrease in the mediators of inflammation in the spinal cord tissue of the tabersonine treated group compared to the SI group. Treatment with tabersonine ameliorates the altered expression of NICD, Nestin and Hes-1 protein and mRNA expression of Notch-1 and Hes-1 in the SCI rats. It was also observed that the tabersonine treated group showed activation of CREB and inhibition of the NLRP-3 pathway in SCI rats. Moreover, apoptosis of neuronal cells was reduced in the tabersonine treated group compared to the SI group. Conclusions Data of the investigation suggest that tabersonine protects against spinal cord injury by activating CREB and reducing NLRP3/Notch signaling.

Zirconia is the preferred material for dental restorations; however, dental restorations are usually affected by zirconia fractures due to chipping and delamination of the veneer ceramic. One effective solution for repairing chemically inert zirconia frameworks is to strongly chemically bond them with the composite resin via surface modification. Thus, the bonding strength between the zirconia and composite resin determines the performance of dental restoration. Herein, we investigate the shear bond strength between zirconia ceramic and two ceramic repair systems before and after thermal cycling based on different surface pretreatments, including air-abrasion and a novel silane coupling agent. When treated with combined sandblasting, novel silane and 10-methacryloyloxydecyl hydrogen phosphate act as a bonding agent for the zirconia surface, and the maximum shear bond strength achieves 27.5 MPa, as measured by a universal testing machine through the average of 16 separate measurements. The results show that the combined treatment resists the interface damage caused by expansion and contraction during thermal cycling. The long-term bond durability is due to the micro-mechanical bond force formed by resin and ceramic, and the chemical bonds of Zr-O-Si at the interface. Results indicate that selective pretreating the surface results in high bond strength between the zirconia and the composite resin, which is meaningful to optimize dental restoration.

To study whether integrative fertilization [growing milk vetch in winter and reducing the dose of chemical nitrogen (N) fertilizer] can improve rice yield, and to reveal the underlying regulatory mechanisms for integrative fertilization, a three-year field trial including two treatments, milk vetch-rice-rice (MRR) and winter fallow-rice-rice (FRR), was conducted in 2010, 2011 and 2012. Our results demonstrated that the MRR treatment could significantly improve rice yield compared with the FRR treatment, especially when the application ratio of milk vetch and chemical fertilizer was 1:2. MRR treatment increased the effective panicle number and the spikelet number per panicle. In addition, a higher tillering number, leaf area index, photosynthetic-potential and photosynthetic-potential to grain ratio were observed in MRR treatment, which could provide enough dry matter for yield formation. Moreover, in MRR treatment, we discovered a higher transportation ratio and transformation ratio of dry matter in culm and leaves, and a stronger total sink capacity and spikelet-root bleeding intensity at the heading stage and 15 d after heading. Furthermore, the MRR treatment showed higher total N, phosphorus and potassium uptakes than FRR treatment, which was associated with the higher root dry weight in each soil layers. These results suggest that growing milk vetch in winter can improve rice yield under less chemical N fertilizer application, which is due to the improvement of soil nutrient status and the increased of rice root growth and development.

The bonding strength between ceramic and resin is an important property for all-ceramic dental restoration. However, the chemically inert surface of the ceramic generally limits the interaction with the resin and surface contamination, resulting in reduced bonding strength. Therefore, several methods have been used to physically and chemically treat and clean the surface of the ceramic. However, few reports exist regarding long-term bond durability. Herein, we investigate the effect of surface cleaning and multiple treatments on the long-term bonding strength between zirconia and resin cement before and after thermal cycling. The shear bond strength in every group was characterized using a universal mechanical testing machine and averaged from 16 measurements. Results show that after cleaning using Ivoclean with a microbrush, the zirconia surface treated by a mixed silane showed a maximum shear bonding strength of up to 32.5 MPa and retained 29.7 MPa after 5000 thermal cycles. This result indicates that the silanized surface shows excellent bond durability by resisting the damage induced by cyclic expansion and contraction. Long-term high bonding strength arises from combined cleaning and treatment, removing saliva or other organic impurities and forming Si–O–Si and –C–C– at the interface and micromechanical interlocking. This result is promising for future applications in high-strength all-ceramic restoration by optimizing the surface treatment.

All-ceramic restoration has become a popular technology for dental restoration; however, the relative bond strength between the ceramic and resin limits its further application. Long-term high bond strength, especially after thermal cycling, is of great importance for effective restoration. The effect of physical and/or chemical surface treatments on bonding durability is seldom reported. To overcome this problem, we investigate the bond strength between lithium disilicate ceramics (LDC) and two kinds of resin cements before and after thermal cycling for a variety of surface treatments including hydrofluoric acid, two kinds of silane and a combined effect. The shear bond strength in every group is characterized by universal mechanical testing machine averaged by sixteen-time measurements. The results show that when treated with HF and a mixed silane, the LDC surface shows maximum bonding strengths of 27.1 MPa and 23.3 MPa with two different resin cements after 5000 thermal cycling, respectively, indicating an excellent ability to resist the damage induced by cyclic expansion and contraction. This long-term high bond strength is attributed to the combined effect of micromechanical interlocking (physical bonding) and the formation of Si-O-Si and -C-C- at the interface (chemical bonding). This result offers great potential for enhancing bond strength for all-ceramic restoration by optimizing the surface treatment.

Objective(s): Protein kinase C (PKCα) is involved in modulating articular chondrocytes apoptosis induced by nitric oxide (NO). Hyaluronic acid (HA) inhibits nitric oxide-induced apoptosis of articular chondrocytes by protecting PKCα, but the mechanism remains unclear. The present study was performed to investigate the effects and mechanisms of PKCα regulate protective effect of hyaluronic acid. Materials and Methods The ratio of apoptotic cell and cell viability was surveyed by PCNA and MTT assay. The expression of caspase-3 was determined by real-time PCR and western blot. Results: It was showed that HA was able to reduce the nuclei fragment and PCNA expression, and NO-induced articular apoptosis blocked by HA, pretreated chondrocytes with PMA, HA significantly inhibits the activation of caspase-3 induced by NO, but pretrement with CHR, HA significantly incresed the expression of caspase-3. Conclusion: The results may be showed that PKCa regulate the expresion of caspase-3, which contribute to the apoptosis of chondrocytes induced by NO. PKC α agonists enhance the protective effect of hyaluronic acid on nitric oxide-induced articular chondrocytes apoptosis.
