Послание польского короля и великого князя Литовского Сигизмунда II Августа французскому королю Карлу IX Валуа от 28 июля 1568 г. освещает проблему польско-французских торговых противоречий, возникших в связи с проводившейся последним Ягеллоном политикой противодействия русско-французской коммерции в Нарве в 1560‑х гг. Будучи уверенным, что французские негоцианты обогащаются на поставках оружия и боеприпасов русской стороне, польский монарх в условиях кризиса в Великом княжестве Литовском предпринял меры для прекращения торговли в Нарве и ее полной блокады. Следствием стал захват французских торговых судов, шедших в Нарву или идущих из нее, польскими каперами. Это вызвало возмущение короля Карла IX, который при помощи посла в Дании Шарля де Данзе отстаивал свободу торговли и плавания в Балтийском море. В тексте публикуемого письма польский король взывает к чувствам французского монарха в рамках христианской морали, в то же время пытаясь показать силу, значимость польского короля и его государства для Respublica Christiana, а также легитимность занимаемой им жесткой позиции по вопросу «нарвского плавания». Все это делает послание Сигизмунда II Карлу IX ценным историческим источником, чье значение полностью раскрывается в контексте дипломатической корреспонденции Балтийских войн периода 1560‑х гг. Публикуемое впервые, послание дошло до нас в составе коллекции П. П. Дубровского (РНБ, Санкт-Петербург). Представлены текст письма на латыни, а также его перевод на русский язык. The message of the Polish king and Lithuanian grand duke Sigismund II Augustus to the French king Charles IX of France from July 28, 1568, highlights the problem of Polish-French trade controversies, which arose due to the policy of Jagiellon against Russian-French commerce in Narva in the 1560s. Believing that French traders were enriching themselves by supplying weapons and ammunition to Russia, the Polish monarch, in the crisis in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, took measures to cut off trade in Narva and blockade it completely. As a result, French merchant ships sailing to or from Narva were seized by the Polish privateers. It aroused the indignation of Charles IX who, with the help of Charles de Danzay, his ambassador in Denmark, defended the freedom of trade and navigation on the Baltic Sea. The text of the letter appeals to the feelings of the French monarch within the framework of Christian morality, while at the same time trying to show the power and the importance of the Polish king and his state to the Respublica Christiana, and the legitimacy of the tough stance he took on the “Narva navigation”. All this makes the letter from Sigismund II Augustus to Charles IX a valuable historical source whose importance is revealed in through diplomatic correspondence in the Baltic wars of the 1560s. Published for the first time, it comes from the collection of P. P. Dubrovsky (62, № 61), Russian National Library (St Petersburg). The article publishes the text of the letter in Latin as well as a translation into Russian. В статье рассматривается процесс создания, внедрения и реализации онлайн-курса «История» УрФУ, расположенного на платформе «Открытое образование». Авторы приходят к выводу о неизбежности процесса цифровизации, реализуемого в крупнейшем вузе Урала. Доказывается, что разработка онлайн-курсов может стать одним из действенных ответов российских университетов на вызовы стремительно развивающейся цифровой экономики и рынка труда. Делается заключение, что разработка и реализация онлайн-курсов способствует осуществлению перехода от массового образования для всех к качественному образованию, основанному на самостоятельной работе обучаемых и их совместной работе в малых группах, направляет образовательный процесс по такому предмету как «История» не столько на заучивание исторических фактов и запоминание исторических деятелей, сколько на овладение посредством знакомства с историей компетенциями XXI века, а также позволяет сделать упор на творческом применении студентами получаемых знаний за счет технологии проектного обучения. The article examines the process of creation, implementation, and realization of the online course “History” of Ural Federal University, located on the platform “Open Education”. The authors concluded about the inevitable process of digitalization of the domestic educational environment. It is argued that the development of online courses may become one of the effective responses of Russian universities to the challenges of the rapidly developing digital economy. It is concluded that the development and implementation of online courses contributes to the transition from mass education for all to quality education, based on the independent work of students and their joint work in small groups, directs the educational process in such subject as “History” not so much to memorization of historical facts and historical figures, as to mastering through familiarization with history competencies of the XXI century, and also allows to focus on the creative application of students received.

The article attempts to highlight the main problems and issues of studying the Smolensk gentry as a military-service corporation and the Smolensk region as a special region within the framework of the policy of the Russian government in the 17th-18th centuries. There is an appeal to the historiographic heritage of the study of Smolensk topics of the specified period, and a review of new research is carried out. It is argued that without turning to historical sources, placing them at the forefront of the study of problems, further research of topics related to the Smolensk gentry becomes impossible. In addition, the path is being reconstructed, its main points, which the Smolensk gentry as a military-service corporation and the Smolensk region as a special region, passed from the middle of the 17th century. before Catherine’s transformations of the second half of the 18th century. В статье делается попытка освещения основных проблем и вопросов изучения смоленской шляхты как военно-служилой корпорации и Смоленщины как особого региона в рамках политики российского правительства XVII–XVIII вв. Происходит обращение к историографическому наследию изучения смоленской тематики указанного периода, а также осуществляется обзор новых исследований. Утверждается, что без обращения к историческим источникам, постановки их во главу угла изучения проблематики дальнейшее исследование тем, связанных со смоленской шляхтой, становится невозможным. Кроме того, реконструируется путь, его основные точки, которые смоленская шляхта как военно-служилая корпорация и Смоленщина как особый регион прошли с середины XVII в. до екатерининских преобразований второй половины XVIII столетия.
