This study aims to describe the learning interest of junior high school students towards the use of android-based animated film media during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The subjects of the research were grade VIII students at Public Junior High School 7 Muara Jambi which consisted of 25 junior high school students who were taken randomly. As for the number of class VIII students at Public Junior High School 7 Muara Jambi as many as 86 students. The instruments used in this study were student learning interest questionnaire test sheets and interviews. The data analysis technique used in this research is quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that overall, the use of android-based animated film media can be said to support student learning interest during the Covid-19 pandemic, while the overall percentage result is 80% with very high criteria. As for the percentage results based on indicators of overall interest in learning, the percentage of students' feelings of pleasure is 83% with very high criteria. The percentage of students' interest and attention indicators is 80% with very high criteria; and the percentage of student involvement indicators is 78% with high criteria. Therefore, it can be concluded that this android-based animated film media is very effectively used as a learning medium to support student learning interest during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study aims to describe student learning motivation towards the use of teaching materials in the form of e-books with magazine displays during the covid-19 pandemic. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The research subjects were students who contracted economics mathematics courses which were chosen at random. The instruments used are motivation questionnaire test sheets, interview test sheets, and learning process observation questionnaire sheets. The data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that the overall percentage of students' learning motivation was 80.53% with a very high category. The results of the percentage of each motivation indicator, respectively, namely the desire and desire to succeed, the drive and need to learn, and being diligent in facing tasks are 82.6%, 84%, and 84.6% with very high categories. Furthermore, the percentages on each indicator of student learning motivation in a row are tenacity in facing difficulties, interesting activities in learning, and pleasure in finding and solving problems of 80%, 78%, and 74% with high categories. Therefore, it can be concluded that e-book teaching materials with magazine displays are very effective in being used as teaching materials for students in the economics mathematics course at Jambi University to increase motivation during the COVID-19 pandemic. The learning process in the 21st century requires students to have the ability to survive and compete globally. One of the skills that students need in the 21st century is the 4C (Critical, Creative, Collaborative, Communicative) ability where with the 4C ability students can improve the learning process and understanding in mathematics well. However, the current learning process is carried out online because Indonesia is being shaken by the corona virus or often called covid-19 in early March 2020. As a result of these conditions in the online learning process, it is necessary for the education sector to see the abilities of students, one of which is the 4C ability of students. This study aims to determine the 4C (Critical, Creative, Collaborative, Communicative) abilities of students in the algebraic structure course during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The subjects in this study were students who contracted an algebraic structure course, totaling 15 students from each class. The instruments used are the 4C ability test and interview guide sheets. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the 4C ability of students in the algebraic structure course was in the medium and low criteria. This can be seen from the overall percentage results related to achievement indicators in the aspect of ability 1) Critical Thinking, is in the low category with a percentage of 33.4%, (2) Creative, is in the low category with a percentage of 20%, (3) Communication, is in the low category. in the medium category with a percentage of 40%, (4) Collaboration, is in the medium category with a percentage of 46.7%. Based on the results of interviews with research subjects, it was found that the biggest difficulties for most students were on the indicators of critical and creative thinking. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a need for strategies or online learning models to support students' 4C abilities in algebraic structure courses during this covid-19 pandemic. HOTS should be facilitated for students. So that students not only have the ability to achieve competence but are able to illuminate issues with more basic, open, and creative consideration. So, HOTS is very important to be improved. where at this time during the covid-19 pandemic, lecturers had difficulty measuring HOTS in students. This study conducted distance learning (PJJ). This study aims to determine the HOTS ability of students in the differential equation course during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The subjects in this study were students who contracted differential equations courses, totaling 9 students from each class. The instrument used is an ability test with a description of 6 questions and an interview test sheet. The study found that the students' HOTS ability in the differential equation course was at a sufficient level. This can be seen from the overall percentage results related to achievement indicators in the aspect of analytical ability (C4) of 39.8 which are at the less level; the aspect of the ability to assess/evaluate (C5) of 58.44 is at a sufficient level; the aspect of creative ability (C6) of 59.66 is at a sufficient level. Therefore, the conclusion is that the students' HOTS ability in the differential equation course is sufficient with several shortcomings and the online learning process is not yet fully efficient. Education 4.0 encourages the development of learning that integrates technology in it. Thereby, it is important to guide students to be more creative and innovative. Electronic devices are quite expensive for students in the SMA / SMK level, so to teach the concepts and practice of Lambert-Beer law is very difficult. Therefore, an alternative is needed in teaching the concept of spectroscopy by making a simple spectrophotometer. The spectrophotometer is made to detect solutions in the visible area, then the data are analyzed by capturing light from the samples using a smartphone camera and using an application on the Google Play Store. The application can be used to determine the absorbance value of a solution, so a calibration curve can be made between absorbance vs. concentration. This study uses an experimental method with a product that uses a spectrophotometer where the instrument has been tested for eligibility based on previous research, then the reading data using the Google Play Store application is validated with a Spectro UV-Vis (with some specifications such as the source of light, the monochromator, diffraction grating, and direct reading system). It is used to measure the concentration of a standard solution of the Fe (II) -phenanthroline complex at pH 4.0 in an acetate buffer solution and a wavelength of 510 nm. The results of concentration measurements using the standard solution with a spectrophotometer UV-Vis and a simple spectrophotometer successively give the value R2 = 0.9985 and R2 = 0.9983. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that the simple made of spectrophotometer can be used for learning Lambert-Beer Law because it gives results that are significantly the same as any standard of a spectrophotometer.
