Abstract

This research aims to present an overview of startups in the tourism business registered in the database - StartupBase. On this basis, we found startups in the data roadmap, and there are also pre-accelerated startups in the country, incubated within institutions or development companies, still in their initial phase. Besides, other Startups arise from individualized initiatives and end up not being included in the analysis of StartupBase. Thus, in this study, a scenario of data from startups in Brazil is displayed, whether in the following phases: out of operation, traction, ideation and scaleup, which identify the innovations and developed technologies. There was a higher concentration of startups in São Paulo with 65 among the 10 states. Another indicator of the categories identified was that SEBRAE Capital Empreendedor and Troposlab have a larger number with 5 startups and the segment of Events and Tourism has 218 registered startups and, among them, only 24 out of 218 have the badge of badges, which are digital emblems that symbolize competencies and achievements. All these aspects involve a discussion on the importance of startups for the country economy, specifically in the tourism business. The creation of startups is important to the increase of research, knowledge, opportunities for the job creation and mainly for the confrontation of competitiveness in the market. Abstract

In Brazil, according to reports from the National Petroleum Agency - ANP, up to 2017, 41,984 automotive fuel dealer outlets were registered, showing that a big amount have leakage problems causing contamination of soil and groundwater, as well as occupational exposure to hydrocarbons. BTEX compound (benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene and xylenes) has been a major concern due to health problems resulting from direct and indirect ingestion. The objective of this work was to characterize the scenario of technologies used in the manufacture of low pressure tanks by outlining the methods that seek to promote tightness during its use. Data were collected by patent mining and subsequent prospecting in the Questel Orbit database. The presence of 67 industrial patent registrations directly related to the process that aim to prevent the leakage of the internal organic fluid to the low pressure tanks used in fuel resale stations was observed, with main codes of the International Patent Classification (IPC) B60S-005/02 (13 Records) and G01M-003/26 (13 Records), the main areas of study being Engineering and Transportation. Abstract

The use of the riparian areas with agriculture in the Lower San Francisco has a direct effect on the degradation of these resources causing, bank erosion, and the imbalance in the river dynamics. The objective of this study was to verify the influence of soil physical and mechanical attributes in the susceptibility of the riverbanks to erosion in the lower São Francisco. The experimental area was located in the municipality of Amparo de São Francisco, located in the state of Sergipe, northeastern Brazil, in soil classified as Neossolo Flúvico. Undisturbed soil and then deformed soil samples were collected to run the auger boreholes down up to water level representing the slope layers. The predominance of more sandy layers allowed a greater angle of internal friction and consequent reduction of cohesion and reduction of shear strength leading to the intensification of soil mass movements. Saturation and drying through the elevations of the river quota compromise the slope stability. The texture of the slope material is closely related to the erosion susceptibility and the riverbank soil mechanical behavior, O uso intensivo do solo das margens do rio São Francisco em seu baixo curso, exerce influência direta na sua degradação, potencializando a ocorrência da erosão marginal e, alterando a dinâmica fluvial. O objetivo deste estudo foi caracterizar os atributos físicos e mecânicos do solo em talude fluvial, relacionando-os com à susceptibilidade a erosão no Baixo curso do rio São Francisco. O ensaio experimental foi conduzido na margem direita do rio São Francisco, localizado no Município de Amparo do São Francisco, nordeste do Brasil, em talude com solo classificado como Neossolo Flúvico. Foram realizadas coletas de amostras indeformadas e deformadas de solo com execução de sondagem a trado, até o nível freático, e a caracterização dos atributos físicos e mecânicos do solo em laboratório. A predominância de camadas mais arenosas possibilitou maior ângulo de atrito interno e consequentes diminuição da coesão e redução da resistência ao cisalhamento levando a intensificação dos movimentos de massa. Os processos de saturação e secagem, através das elevações da cota do rio, comprometeram a estabilidade do talude. A granulometria do solo do talude é determinante para a suscetibilidade ao processo erosivo, e consequentemente para o comportamento mecânico desse talude.

23. Biotechnical potential of paspalum submitted to simple superphosphate doses and moisture content

Abstract

The objective of this study was to evaluate the development of grass Paspalum millegrana Schrad propagated through seeds and tillers, subjected to different levels of water and phosphorus to be used in erosion control on slopes. The experimental trial was conducted in greenhouse with propagation of tillers and seeds of Paspalum grass, at the Federal University of Sergipe, São Cristóvão, Brazil. The design was the completely randomized design with sixteen treatments and four replications, arranged in a factorial scheme corresponding to (0, 100, 200, 300 and 400 mg kg-1), two water contents in the soil (60% and 100% of total pore volume) filled with water and two types of propagation (tillers and seeds). Plants were harvested at the end of four months of conducting the experiment and evaluated the following variables: number of tillers (NT), number of inflorescences (NI), Shoot Length (SL), Root Length (RL), Shoot Dry Weight (SDW) and Root Dry Weight (RDW). The phosphorus and water levels interacted positively with the variables studied and showed that this grass, presented biotech important features like good tillering, and the consequent formation of dense aerial biomass and root required for slope protection against erosion. The specie Paspalum millegrana showed a better development among the variables analyzed under conditions of less water availability with 60% VTP and the best responses of the simple superphosphate dosages were between 200 and 300 mg kg-1., O objetivo desse trabalho foi avaliar o desenvolvimento do capim Paspalum millegrana Schrad propagado por meio de sementes e perfilhos, submetidos a diferentes níveis de água e fósforo a ser utilizado no controle da erosão em taludes. O ensaio experimental foi conduzido em casa-de-vegetação com propagação de perfilhos e sementes do capim Paspalum, na Universidade Federal de Sergipe, São Cristóvão, Brasil. O delineamento utilizado foi o inteiramente casualizado com dezesseis tratamentos e quatro repetições, arranjados em um esquema fatorial correspondente a quatro doses de superfosfato simples (0, 100, 200, 300 e 400 mg kg-1), dois teores de água no solo (60 e 100% do Volume Total de Poros) preenchidos com água e dois tipos de propagação (perfilhos e sementes). As plantas foram colhidas ao final de quatro meses de condução do experimento e avaliadas as seguintes variáveis: Número de Perfilhos (NT), Número de Inflorescências (NI), Comprimento Parte Aérea (SL), Comprimento de Raízes (RL), Massa Seca da Parte Aérea (SDW) e Massa Seca de Raiz (RDW). As doses de fósforo e os níveis de água interagiram de forma positiva com os parâmetros estudados e evidenciaram que esta gramínea, apresentou características biotécnicas importantes como bons perfilhamentos, e consequente densa formação de biomassa aérea e radicular necessários para proteção do talude contra a erosão. A espécie Paspalum millegrana apresentou melhor desenvolvimento entre as variáveis analisadas em condições de menor disponibilidade de água com 60% de VTP e as melhores respostas das dosagens de superfosfato simples ficaram entre 200 e 300 mg kg-1 de solo.

Abstract

The prediction of erosive events have this great importance in the lands of lower São Francisco-LSF, where practices of inadequate management have led to degradation of cultivated areas and riparian forests, with consequent advance of erosive processes along the river banks. The Universal Soil Loss Equation (USLE) is a model that uses pluviometric data, soil types, land slope and land use, to calculate how much soil loss in a given area in a year. The objective of this work was to estimate and to evaluate the soil losses in the Lower São Francisco of Sergipe state. The LSF occupies an area of 3,201,300 ha, from Paulo Afonso-BA, to the mouth of the river between Piaçabuçu-AL and Brejo Grande-SE. The stretch in the state of Sergipe occupies an area around 738.754ha, where soil loss was calculated using ArcGis 9.0 software. The pasture areas are predominant in the Basin, occupying more than half of the LSF (76.26%), values ranging from 0 to 0.33 t ha-1 year -1 of soil loss.Only 0.1% of the studied area presented a high risk of erosion, justified by the predominance of areas with low erosivity, associated to a more conservationist soil cover mostly by pastures.The low expressiveness of soil losses is shown by the combination of several factors, with emphasis on low erosivity., A predição de eventos erosivos é de grande importância nas terras do Baixo São Francisco-BSF, que apresentapráticas de manejo inadequado vem provocando degradação das áreas cultivadas e matas ciliares com consequente avanço de processos erosivos nas margens do rio. A Equação Universal de Perda de Solos (EUPS) é um modelo queutiliza dados pluviométricos, tipos de solos, declividade do terreno e uso do solo, para estimar a quantidade de solo perdida em uma determinada área. O objetivo desse trabalho foi estimar e avaliar as perdas de solo no Baixo São Francisco sergipano. O BSF ocupa uma área de 3.201.300 ha, se iniciando em Paulo Afonso-BA, com sua foz entre Piaçabuçu-AL e Brejo Grande-SE. O trecho no estado de Sergipe ocupa uma área de 738.754ha, onde foi estimada a perda de solos. Nas áreas de pastagem, que ocupam 76% do BSF, foram encontrados valores que variaram de 0 a 0,33 t ha-1 ano-1 de perda de solo. Somente 0,1% da área estudada apresentou alto risco de erosão, justificado pela predominância de áreas com ocorrência de baixa erosividade, associada à uma cobertura do solo mais conservacionista como as pastagens.
