The exchange of knowledge is a milestone that brings together academic staff, research institutes, members of companies open to innovation and wider groups and communities, translating and or transforming it into an opportunity for mutual profit and to learn more and better thanks to the use of complementary skills This improves results, accelerates goal achievement and research impact By this paper wehavehighlight how the coordination and extension of access to the tools and strategy developed for communication and dissemination adopted within the VIPERLAB project are ensuring that information can be shared by the most effective means and with maximum impact for all appropriate audiences Particularly we have presented the new release of VIPERLAB Knowledge Exchange Platform (KEP), based on a Content Management System (CMS), and a Query Language with an SQL structure and a Dynamic Database Management System (RDBMS) , and how it efficiently allows the information management and how it makes communication and information fast and effective.

FP7-CHEETAH is a combination of a collaborative project (CP) and a coordination and support action (CSA), receiving funding from the European Union under grant agreement No 609788. The project aims at solving specific R&D issues to overcome fragmentation of European PV R&D and to accelerate the industrialization of innovations by intensifying the collaboration between R&D providers and industry. This proceeding reports on the strategy and key tools brought by the CHEETAH project to improve the state of the art in knowledge exchange on PV RTD. Its CHEETAH Knowledge Exchange Platform (KEP) features a dynamic database, a powerful build-in search engine, the dedicated e-learning platform for on-line meetings with internal and external stakeholders, webinars, on-line tests and experiments. The portal profits from the best practice in more efficient social and professional networks web portal by representing a significant step forward in knowledge exchange for the European photovoltaics community to support training, share knowledge and research infrastructures and foster collaboration opportunities at EU scale.

The electrical ageing of photovoltaic modules during extended damp-heat tests at different stress levels is investigated for three types of crystalline silicon photovoltaic modules with different backsheets, encapsulants and cell types. Deploying different stress levels allows determination of an equivalent stress dose function, which is a first step towards a lifetime prediction of devices. The derived humidity dose is used to characterise the degradation of power as well as that of the solar cell's equivalent circuit parameters calculated from measured current–voltage characteristics. An application of this to the samples demonstrates different modes in the degradation and thus enables better understanding of the module's underlying ageing mechanisms. The analysis of changes in the solar cell equivalent circuit parameters identified the primary contributors to the power degradation and distinguished the potential ageing mechanism for each types of module investigated in this paper. © 2016 The Authors. FP7-SOPHIA, the European PV Research Infrastructure project coordinated by CEA-INES ended on 31st of January 2015. The project focused on strengthening and optimising the research capabilities of outstanding European Research Infrastructures by pulling together numerous scientists and researchers of more than 48 relevant Research Infrastructures to share a common vision and to conduct efficient and coordinated research work in the field of PV technologies. SOPHi@Webinar is the internal e-learning platform that has organized a set of online courses/seminaries/guest lectures in parallel to more conventional training initiatives held physically. It has also been opened to non-SOPHIA members.
