Orientador: Zeljko Loparic Tese (doutorado) - Universidade Estadual de Campinas, Instituto de Filosofia e Ciências Humanas Resumo: Este trabalho tem por tema geral a assim chamada filosofia da ciência de Heidegger. Visa-se, particularmente, a uma interpretação da abordagem heideggeriana da Física matemática, no quadro da sua concepção existencial de ciência, desenvolvida no contexto do seu projeto de Ontologia Fundamental, especialmente em Ser e Tempo, mas também em textos do seu entorno. Em um primeiro momento, examina-se a proposta heideggeriana de fundamentação das ciências factuais por meio da elaboração de ontologias regionais e discute-se o caráter fundacionalista desta proposta. Em seguida, avalia-se a alusão, feita em Ser e Tempo, à Analítica Transcendental, de Kant, como uma ontologia regional da natureza, com base em uma reconstrução da compreensão heideggeriana das relações entre a filosofia teórica kantiana e a fundamentação da Física, exposta mais detidamente no curso Logik: Die Frage nach der Wahrheit e, indiretamente, no seu Kantbuch. A partir do conceito existencial de ciência, no parágrafo 69b, de Ser e Tempo: discute-se a interpretação de Gethmann acerca da origem do comportamento científico e das relações entre gênese ontológica da ciência e modificação da compreensão de ser; define-se o papel desempenhado pela Física na exposição do conceito existencial de ciência; busca-se reabilitar (contra as teses de Gordon, Rouse e Ginev) a importância e a pertinência da noção de desmundanização do mundo, esclarecendo o significado, o alcance e o lugar dessa noção na concepção existencial de ciência e defendendo a sua exclusiva e inelidível vinculação ao projeto matemático da natureza, isto é, à tematização físico-matemática; elucidam-se, ainda, os momentos básicos da tematização operada pela Física, a saber: "a articulação da compreensão de ser", "a delimitação do domínio temático" e o "delineamento da conceitualidade adequada". Por fim, apresenta-se e problematiza-se a interpretação heideggeriana das Leis de Newton como enunciações que tornam acessível o ente "nele mesmo"; contrastam-se as concepções heideggeriana e kuhniana de crise e revolução nas ciências, ao se levantar uma hipótese sobre como Heidegger compreende as relações entre a Física de Newton e a Teoria da Relatividade de Einstein, tomando-se em consideração as breves menções feitas a ambas as Físicas nas obras analisadas neste trabalho; patenteia-se o realismo científico subjacente à abordagem heideggeriana tanto das Leis de Newton quanto da Física de Einstein e aponta-se para o problema da compatibilidade entre o realismo científico robusto assumido por Heidegger e o caráter transcendental de sua filosofia ontológico-existencial Abstract: This dissertation's general theme is Heidegger's so called philosophy of Science. In particular, one aims to interpret Heidegger's approach to mathematical Physics within the frame of his Fundamental Ontology Project, especially worked out in Being and Time, but also in texts orbiting around it. In a first moment, one examines Heidegger's proposition concerning the grounding of factual sciences by means of the elaboration of regional ontologies, and one discusses the foundationalist character of such proposition. Thereupon, one evaluates Being and Time's allusion to Kant's Transcendental Analytic as regional ontology of nature, departing from a reconstruction of Heidegger's comprehension of the relations between Kant's theoretical philosophy and the grounding of Physics, exposed to greater extent in the lecture course on Logik: Die Frage nach der Wahrheit, and, indirectly, in his Kantbuch. Departing from the existential concept of Science found in Being and Time's paragraph 69b: one discusses Gethmann's interpretation concerning to the origin of scientific behavior and to the relationship between ontological genesis of science and modification of the understanding of being; one defines the role played by Physics in the exposure of the existential concept of Science; one searches to restore (against the thesis of Gordon, Rouse and Ginev) the importance and pertinence of the notion of deworlding of the world, clarifying the meaning, the extent, and the place of such a notion within the existential conception of science and defending its exclusive und insuppressible binding to the mathematical project of nature, that is, to the physical-mathematical thematization; furthermore, one elucidates therewith the basic moments of the thematization operated by Physics, namely: "the articulation of the understanding of being", "the delimitation of an area of subject-matter", and "the sketching-out of the appropriate way of conceiving". Lastly, one presents and problematizes Heidegger's interpretation of Newton's Laws as assertions which make entity accessible "in itself"; one contrasts Heidegger's and Kuhn's conceptions concerning scientific crisis and revolution, by raising na hypothesis relating to how Heidegger comprehends the relations between Newton's Physics and Einstein's Theory of Relativity, departing therein from the brief mentions to both physical projects found in the works analyzed within this dissertation's scope; Heidegger's scientific realism, subjacent to his approach of both Newton's and Einstein's Physics, is laid out and the compatibility problem between the robust scientific realism assumed by Heidegger and the transcendental character of his ontological-existential philosophy is thus indicated Doutorado Filosofia Doutor em Filosofia FAPESP 2011/09379-7 CNPQ 142931/2011-0 CAPES 11174/13-7

Orientador: Zeljko Loparic Dissertação (mestrado) - Universidade Estadual de Campinas, Instituto de Filosofia e Ciências Humanas Resumo: Este trabalho tem por objetivo examinar as relações entre conhecimento e verdade (no sentido de descobrimento e abertura), no contexto da Ontologia Fundamental, de Martin Heidegger. Num primeiro momento, busca-se caracterizar o conhecimento como um modo derivado do ser-no-mundo enquanto ocupação, patenteando a estrutura intencional que lhe é própria, bem como explicitando a interpretação fenomenológico-existencial do "resultado" do comportamento cognoscitivo (conceitos de substância/eidos), que é posta em questão quanto à sua correção, em se considerando os conceitos da Física Moderna. A abordagem do fenômeno do conhecimento, aqui empreendida, culmina com a apresentação das relações "implícitas" entre o modo de ser do conhecimento e o "problema da verdade", presentes na análise do fenômeno da enunciação predicativa (parágrafo 33, de Ser e Tempo), com base na qual se intenta indicar o lugar da Lógica na Ontologia Fundamental. Em seguida, no contexto da tematização do significado existencial de verdade, foca-se o conceito de Evidenciação (Ausweisung), no qual se entrelaçam plenamente as concepções heideggerianas de conhecimento e de verdade, porquanto se trata da descrição da verdade do conhecimento como um modo de descobrimento enunciativo dos entes tais como são em si mesmos. Busca-se, em primeiro lugar, mostrar a apropriação de Husserl e de Aristóteles, bem como a manutenção da idéia de verdade como adequação, embutidas naquele conceito. Propõe-se a idéia de que a não-verdade (falsidade) dos enunciados predicativos (não explicitamente tematizada por Heidegger, em Ser e Tempo) pode ser pensada a partir do conceito husserliano de "síntese de diferenciação". Procura-se, ainda, esclarecer o que significa o "em si mesmo" dos entes que se dão na evidenciação e se ocultam na diferenciação, e salientar o aspecto problemático da idéia de uma dadidade dos entes em "si mesmos", no âmbito da investigação científica. Por fim, apresenta-se a discussão acerca da concepção heideggeriana de verdade, iniciada por Tugendhat, em 1964, e constantemente retomada por vários filósofos, inclusive por Gethmann, cuja interpretação é aqui avaliada Abstract: The present work has as its objective to examine the relationships between knowledge and truth (in the meaning of uncoverering and disclosure), in the context of Heidegger's Fundamental Ontology. At first, we have attempted to characterize knowledge as a founded mode of the being-in-the-world as occupation, making it clear the intentional structure which is proper to it, as well as explaining the existential-phenomenological interpretation of the "result" of the knowing behavior (concepts of substance / eidos) - put into question, as to what regards its correctness, when one considers the concepts of modern physics. The approach to the phenomenon of knowing, here undertaken, reaches its peak with the presentation of the "implicit" relations between the kind-of-being of knowledge and the "problem of truth", which are present in the analysis of the phenomenon of the predicative enunciation (paragraph 33 of Being and Time); and it is taking that analysis as a basis that we have tried to indicate the position of Logic in the Fundamental Ontology. In sequence, in the context of the thematization of the existential meaning of truth, we have focused on the concept of evidenciation (Ausweisung), in which the heideggerian conceptions of knowing and truth are fully intermingled, as it is the case in the description of the truth of knowledge as an enunciative kind of uncovering of the beings such as they are in themselves. We have tried, in the first place, to show Heidegger's use of Husserl and of Aristotle, as well as how he kept the idea of truth as adaequatio, all of which are crammed into that concept. We have tried to establish the idea that the non-truth (falsity) of predicative enunciations (not explicitly a theme in Heidegger's Being and Time) can be thought of as departing from the husserlian concept of "differentiation synthesis". We have, still, tried to clarify what it means the "in itself" of the entities which are given in the evidenciation and which are hidden in differeciation, and to emphasize the problematic aspect of the idea of a giveness of the entities "in themselves", in the scope of scientific investigation. Initially, a general presentation pertinent to the ontological questions of Being and Time will be fulfilled. Afterwards, the objective is to present the Heideggerian reception of recognized (classical) authors/scholars which allows to show that, although there is no qualified program for scientific debate in Being and Time, nevertheless, one can conclude that there are notes which allow the elaboration of a qualified program. Also in the initial chapter, questions will be presented regarding the treatment of science, epistemologically focused, aiming to point to the limits of this treatment.Finally, in this chapter, one will be presented an overview of the authors and perspectives of a natural science approach that encompasses hermeneutics and phenomenology. Subsequently, Kockelmans, Ginev and Heelan's theses will be presented respectively in the following chapters. For the former, the core of a hermeneutic of the natural sciences lies in the objectifying thematization. For the second, a hermeneutics of the natural sciences encompasses themes pertaining to a micro and macro-hermeneutic of the natural sciences. The everydayness of scientific research is the subject of micro hermeneutics and the thematizing projects are the subject of macro-hermeneutics. The last one of the scholars defends its hermeneutics of the natural sciences with the thematization of the perception of the visual space, that provides the bases for its proposal of a realism of horizons or hermeneutic. From the presentation of chapters two, three and four one can conclude that the dimension of authenticity, of the authentic way of being of existence, is not approach. In the last chapter one will see what characterizes authenticity and inauthenticity in Heidegger. It will be visualized that the being-in-function of truth and finitude are themes that were left out approaches presented in the preceding chapters. These are subjects belonging to the dimension of authenticity. The objective of the final chapter is to point out that it does not pass through the authentic dimension (of the other approaches) and to show how this transit to a hermeneutic of the natural sciences, in which it can be "useful" (emphasis ours) for an adequate understanding of the natural sciences, which should contemplate meaning and finitude. A presente investigação tem como objetivo apontar para a necessidade de considerar-se, em uma hermenêutica das ciências naturais, o que Heidegger denomina modo de ser autêntico ou dimensão da autenticidade da existência. Inicialmente, será realizada uma apresentação geral pertinente às questões ontológicas de Ser e Tempo. Em seguida, objetiva-se apresentar a recepção heideggeriana de reconhecidos (clássicos) autores/estudiosos, que permite mostrar que, embora não se tenha um programa qualificado para o debate científico em Ser e Tempo, não obstante, pode-se concluir que há apontamentos que permitem a elaboração de um programa qualificado. Ainda no capítulo inicial, serão apresentadas questões referentes ao tratamento, da ciência, epistemologicamente centrado, visando com isso apontar para os limites desse tratamento. Por fim, ainda neste capítulo, será apresentado um panorama geral dos autores e perspectivas de uma abordagem da ciência natural que abarque a hermenêutica e fenomenologia. Depois disso, nos capítulos subsequentes serão apresentadas, respectivamente, as teses de Kockelmans, Ginev e Heelan. Para o primeiro, o cerne de uma hermenêutica das ciências naturais está na tematização objetificante. Para o segundo, uma hermenêutica das ciências naturais abarca temas referentes a uma micro e uma macro-hermenêutica das ciências naturais. A cotidianidade da pesquisa científica é tema da micro hermenêutica e os projetos tematizantes são o tema da macro-hermenêutica. O último dos estudiosos defende sua hermenêutica das ciências naturais com a tematização da percepção do espaço visual, que proporciona as bases para sua proposta de um realismo de horizontes ou hermenêutico. Da apresentação dos capítulos dois, três e quatro, pode-se concluir que a dimensão da autenticidade, do modo de ser autêntico da existência, não é abordada. No último capítulo ver-se-á o que caracteriza a autenticidade e inautenticidade em Heidegger. Será visualizado ainda que o ser-em-função da verdade e a finitude são temas que ficaram de fora das abordagens apresentadas nos capítulos precedentes. Esses são temas pertencentes à dimensão da autenticidade. O objetivo do capítulo final é apontar para o não transitar na dimensão autêntica (das demais abordagens) e mostrar em que consiste tal trânsito para uma hermenêutica das ciências naturais, em que ele pode ser "útil" (grifo nosso) para um adequado entendimento das ciências naturais, que deverá contemplar o sentido e a finitude.

Orientador: Zeljko Loparic Tese (doutorado) - Universidade Estadual de Campinas, Instituto de Filosofia e Ciências Humanas Resumo: Em torno dos conceitos de liberdade, vínculo e jogo da vida, a presente tese de doutoramento pretende reunir os elementos necessários para uma interpretação produtiva da metafísica do Dasein, a ideia de filosofia defendida publicamente por Martin Heidegger no período imediatamente posterior à publicação de seu opus magnum Ser e tempo (1927). Orientando-se sobretudo pelas indicações do autor no curso universitário conferido em Marburg no verão de 1928, defende-se que a metafísica do Dasein visa a uma desformalização da fenomenologia da temporalidade extática que constitui o método da ontologia fundamental. A metafísica do Dasein, quando tomada na acepção própria do genitivo objetivo, deixa ver, ademais, um quadro de problemas especiais, circunscritos em torno da questão sobre o ente no todo, os quais não puderam ganhar, por diversos motivos, tematização explícita no interior da obra parcialmente publicada em 1927. De modo especial, ganha proeminência a questão do ser-lançado em meio ao ente no todo, do existir humano como vinculado ao ente. A necessidade de elaboração e desenvolvimento desse problema, uma consideração do existir humano em sua livre vinculação ao ente no todo, explica a requisição, em 1928, de uma transformação metafísica da ontologia fundamental em uma metontologia. Em uma unidade, ontologia fundamental e metontologia constituem a metafísica do Dasein. No presente trabalho, busca-se ressaltar o momento construtivo da metafísica do Dasein, aqui interpretado sob os termos de uma hermenêutica do vínculo. Mostra-se que a metafísica do Dasein, a despeito da brevidade da identificação explícita de filosofia e metafísica na obra de Heidegger, constitui um aprofundamento, ainda pouco explorado na bibliografia especializada, da consideração temática do existir humano exposta em Ser e tempo. Ao amarrar o problema da metafísica à questão antropológica, Heidegger ganhou o conceito de homem como formador de mundo, indicativo de uma dinâmica lúdica de liberdade e de vínculo, característica do existir humano que se desdobra em meio ao mundo como ente no todo. Precisamente o motivo antropológico na ideia da formação de mundo, interpretada aqui à luz dos conceitos de liberdade, vínculo e jogo da vida, constitui o interesse primeiro do presente trabalho Abstract: Through the concepts of freedom, binding and play of life, this dissertation aims at carrying out a fruitful interpretation of the metaphysics of Dasein, the idea of philosophy Martin Heidegger publicly defended in the period right after the publication of his opus magnum Being and Time (1927). Following some indications present in the summer course of 1928 delivered in Marburg, I sustain that the metaphysics of Dasein aims at unformalizing the phenomenology of ecstatic temporality that constitutes the method of the fundamental ontology. Furthermore, when one understands the metaphysics of Dasein in its objective genitive meaning, one can see a framework of special problems revolving around the question of the being as a whole. Heidegger was not able to explicitly thematize these problems in 1927. What is to be emphasized is the question of the thrownness amidst the being as a whole, of the human existence as bound up with beings. The necessity of elaborating and developing this problem, a consideration of human existence in its free binding with the being as a whole, explains why the fundamental ontology had to be metaphysically transformed into a metontology. As a unity, fundamental ontology and metontology constitute the metaphysics of Dasein. My aim is to emphasize the constructive aspect of the metaphysics of Dasein, interpreted here as a hermeneutics of the human bond to being as a whole. I try to show that the metaphysics of Dasein ¿ despite the short-time identification of philosophy and metaphysics in the work of Heidegger ¿ constitutes a moment of deepening of the thematic consideration of the human existence in Being and Time, a moment that has not received due attention in the specialized bibliography. Linking the problem of metaphysics to the anthropological question, Heidegger developed the concept of man as world-forming, what indicates a ludic dynamics between freedom and binding, typical of the human existence that happens in the midst of beings as a whole. Our research comprises three parts: the first one is devoted to a historical-conceptual reconstruction of the period between the uprising of the first Neopositivist ideas and the years immediately following the North-American reception of the intellectual immigration from Vienna; the second part of the work concerns the nature of such contemporary reappraisal researches on the positivists legacy, through a description of the method and scope of such re-evaluation project; finally, the third part comprises a general review of the previous parts, and was worked out in order to conceive conjectures about the possibility of finding out in this re-evaluation project a philosophical and political agenda of its own. A pesquisa que ora se apresenta consiste em uma investigação sobre o recente trabalho de reavaliação das obras de membros do chamado Círculo de Viena, que foi o primeiro e principal grupo representativo da perspectiva filosófica conhecida como positivismo lógico. Nossa pesquisa compreende três partes: a primeira parte voltada para a reconstrução histórico-conceitual do período entre o alvorecer das idéias neopositivistas e os primeiros momentos posteriores à recepção norte-americana da imigração intelectual vienense; na segunda parte do trabalho, por sua vez, lançaremos luz propriamente à natureza de tal perspectiva contemporânea, a partir de uma descrição sobre o método e o escopo temático de tal projeto revisionista; à terceira parte, por fim, além de tecer uma avaliação geral sobre o que foi feito nas duas partes que a antecedem, coube conjecturar as possibilidades de se encontrar em tal trabalho uma agenda filosófica e política própria.

The theories of relativity and quantum mechanics generated serious debates about the relationship between its new concepts and those pertaining to classic physics, between theory and experience, and the role that concepts that were considered fundamental would have to assume, such as of space, time, properties and causality. In the first part, we show the way Heisenberg understands the history of the development of modern physics, as well as the varied characteristics of the problems that followed it. In the second part, we show Heisenberg s reflections on the relations between classic and modern concepts, while we analyze the ways in which these concepts influence a varied number of human activities. Finally, we offer some indications on how is constituted a problem to which Heisenberg continuously returns: that one which concerns the possibility of men orienting themselves in the world. A presente dissertação tem como objetivo expor as idéias de Werner Heisenberg (1901-1976) sobre a natureza das transformações conceituais advindas com o surgimento da física moderna. As teorias da relatividade e a mecânica quântica geraram graves debates sobre a relação entre os seus novos conceitos e aqueles pertencentes à física clássica, entre teoria e experiência, sobre o papel que então deteriam conceitos antes julgados como fundamentais, tais como os de espaço, tempo, propriedades e causalidade. Na primeira parte, nós expomos o modo como Heisenberg compreende a história do desenvolvimento da física moderna, bem como as variadas características dos problemas que a acompanharam. Na segunda parte, nós expomos as reflexões de Heisenberg sobre as relações entre os conceitos clássicos e os modernos, ao mesmo tempo em que analisamos as formas pelas quais esses conceitos influenciam nas mais variadas atividades humanas. Por fim, oferecemos algumas indicações sobre como se constitui um problema ao qual Heisenberg continuamente retorna: aquele que concerne à possibilidade do homem se orientar no mundo.

É feita uma apresentação sistemática do conceito de mundo, desenvolvida a partir do pensamento de Heidegger acerca da transcendência. Inicialmente, mundo é determinado como horizonté unitário dos esquemas da temporalidade. Segue-se sua correspondente determinação como caráter do ser do Dasein e discussão do todo da significatividade como mundaneidade do mundo. Finalmente, o sentido ôntico do mundo do ser-no-mundo é examinado, enquanto expressão ôntica da mundaneidade, e discutido relativamente à determinação de mundos diversos Abstract: The research's subject is Heidegger's conception of the world, during the first period of his works and, specially in the treatise Being and Time. The concept is analysed starting from Heidegger's thoughts concerning transcendence. A systematic dissertation about the concept of world is developed under this transcendental perspective.
