- Abstract
Xixiayuan Reservoir, as a counter-regulating reservoir of Xiaolangdi Reservoir, plays an important role in regulating the unsteady flow of Xiaolangdi Reservoir. Since the operation of Xixiayuan Reservoir, the reservoir has shown a continuous trend of siltation. It is of great significance to study the siltation removal capacity of Xixiayuan Reservoir. Based on the measured water and sediment data of Xixianyuan Reservoir from 2011 to 2022, this paper made an in-depth analysis of the sediment discharge process and influencing factors of Xixianyuan Reservoir over the years. The research results show that the sediment discharge of Xixianyuan Reservoir is affected by multiple factors such as the reservoir operation mode and the conditions of incoming water and sediment. The sediment delivery ratio of the reservoir is significantly affected by the variation coefficient of discharge along the flow and the sediment discharge in the reservoir, and the sediment discharge ratio is significantly positively correlated with the variation coefficient of discharge along the flow and negatively correlated with the sediment discharge in the reservoir. The empirical formula of sediment discharge is established by regression analysis, with the coefficient of determination of 0.79, and the fitting effect is good. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
