Listeria monocytogenes is a typical foodborne pathogen that causes hard-to-treat bacterial infections, mainly due to its ability to form biofilm and enter into a viable but non-culturable state (VBNC). In this study, we investigated the removal effects of four antimicrobial agents on L. monocytogenes biofilms formed at 32°C and 10°C, analysed the resistances of the mature biofilms to antimicrobial agents, and explored the VBNC state of cells in mature biofilms induced by lavender essential oil (LEO). The results showed that the growth of L. monocytogenes was completely inhibited when 1·6% (v/v) of the LEO was added. Meanwhile, the results of the crystal violet staining and XTT reduction method indicated that different concentrations of LEO significantly reduced L. monocytogenes biofilms biomass and metabolic activities, followed by sodium hypochlorite, lactic acid, and hydrogen peroxide. Moreover, the confocal laser scanning microscopy (CLSM) images confirmed that the treated biofilms became thinner, the structure was sparse, and the appearance was blurry. More interestingly, L. monocytogenes biofilms developed at 10°C were less susceptible to the sanitizers than those formed at 32°C. In addition, LEO presented a more significant dispersing effect on the biofilm cells, and 1/2 MIC to 4 MIC of LEO could induce fewer VBNC state cells in biofilm and plankton compared with sodium hypochlorite. This study indicated that the LEO could be considered as an ideal antibiofilm agent for controlling L. monocytogenes. But we should pay attention to the resistance of the biofilms developed at low temperatures.

There are no optimal diagnostic, treatment and post-infection surveillance strategies for parvovirus B19 infection in solid organ transplantation (SOT) recipients.We conducted a retrospective review of all PVB19 infected cases confirmed by qPCR among SOT recipients at our institution over a 3-year period and reviewed the literature from 1990 to 2021.Eight kidney and two heart transplant patients with refractory anemia had PVB19 infection. The viral DNA load in peripheral blood ranged from 2.62×10PVB19 infection is a cause of anemia after SOT, and treatment mainly relies on IVIG and/or immunosuppression reduction.

The EAST plasmas heated with deuterium neutral beam injection and ion cyclotron resonance heating (ICRH) have been simulated by the TRANSP code. The analysis has been conducted using the full wave solver TORIC5, the radio frequency (RF)-kick operator, and NUBEAM to model the RF heating effects on fast ion velocity distribution. In this work, we present several simulated results compared with experiments for high power EAST scenarios, indicating that the interactions between ICRH and fast ions can significantly accelerate fast ions, which are confirmed by the increased neutron yield and broadened neutron emission spectrum measurements.

Rheumatic diseases, a typical kind of autoimmune disease, are often treated with glucocorticoids, immunosuppressants, biological agents, and small-molecule targeted drugs, which often leads to immune dysfunction in patients and increases the risk of activation of latent tuberculosis infection. To regulate the screening, diagnosis, and prophylactic treatment of latent tuberculosis infection in patients with rheumatic diseases, reduce the risk of developing active tuberculosis and improve the prognosis, Peking University Shenzhen Hospital, Shenzhen Third People's Hospital and Peking Union Medical College Hospital jointly organized domestic experts in the field of rheumatology and tuberculosis to establish the expert consensus on the diagnosis and treatment of latent tuberculosis infection in patients with rheumatic diseases. A middle-sensitivity scintillating fiber detector (hereafter middle Sci-Fi detector) that works at a deuterium-tritium neutron flux of ~105-107 cm−2s−1 was utilized to measure secondary deuterium-tritium neutron emission rates with high temporal resolution at a total neutron emission rate of 1013 to 1015 n/s, where strong magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) instabilities were observed in the large helical device deuterium plasma experiments. The gain and angular characteristics of the middle Sci-Fi detector were evaluated in an accelerator-based deuterium-tritium neutron source in the intense 14 MeV neutron source facility at Osaka University. Observation of 1 MeV triton transport due to MHD instability was performed by a middle Sci-Fi detector whose deuterium-tritium neutron counting rate was approximately 20 times higher than that of the conventional Sci-Fi detector. Fusion-born triton transport due to energetic-particle-driven MHD instability was observed using the middle Sci-Fi detector due to its high detection efficiency and high discrimination ability of deuterium-tritium neutrons from the sea of deuterium-deuterium neutrons.

甲状旁腺癌是临床上罕见的内分泌恶性肿瘤。本文报道1例甲状旁腺癌，手术完整切除右侧下方甲状旁腺癌、同侧甲状腺腺叶及峡部、侵犯的气管浅筋膜、食管肌层、喉返神经等周围浸润组织，清扫同侧中央区淋巴结。患者拒绝术后放化疗等其他治疗。随访12个月，甲状旁腺激素比正常值偏高，影像学检查暂不考虑复发。.

Ion Cyclotron Range of Frequencies (ICRF) heating and Neutral Beam Injection (NBI) can have synergy due to the acceleration of NBI beam ions by ICRF wave fields at their harmonics. To understand the influence of ICRF-NBI synergy on fast ion distribution and plasma performance, dedicated experiments and TRANSP simulations have been carried out on EAST. The simulation results are consistent with the experimental results. They show that the ICRF-NBI synergy not only accelerates the NBI beam ions with energy lower than 80 keV to energy larger than 300 keV, but also generates fusion neutrons with energy larger than 3 MeV. Moreover, ICRF-NBI synergy improves the plasma performance by increasing the poloidal beta, plasma stored energy, core ion temperature, total neutron yield and kinetic pressure. In a typical H-mode plasma with 1.0 MW NBI and 1.5 MW ICRF power, it was observed that ICRF-NBI synergy increases the poloidal beta, plasma stored energy, core ion temperature and neutron yield by ∼35%, 33%, 22% and 80%, respectively. Various parameter scans show that the ICRF-NBI synergetic effects can be enhanced by decreasing the minority ion concentration or the distance between the harmonic resonance and magnetic axis, or by increasing the ICRF heating power or NBI beam energy. Consequently, this leads to a generation of fast ions with higher energy. For instance, the maximum energy of the fast ion tail increases from 300 to 600 keV as n(H) decreases from 5% to 0.1%.

目的 探索慢性髓性白血病（CML）患者外周血样本的存储和运输对实时定量PCR（RQ-PCR）检测BCR-ABL（P210）转录本水平的影响。 方法 采集84例CML患者外周血样本，根据储存时间（0、6、12、24、48和72 h）、温度［室温（18～24 °C）和低温（2～8 °C）］以及振荡条件（振荡时长3、6和12 h）设置不同分组，RQ-PCR法检测不同条件下外周血样本BCR-ABL（P210）转录本水平。本研究将BCR-ABL拷贝数、ABL拷贝数和BCR-ABL（P210）转录本水平等原始数据进行对数转化（log10N）。 结果 ①琼脂糖凝胶电泳结果显示：室温条件下，储存48、72 h的样本RNA出现显著降解；②储存温度方面，总体样本中，室温储存48、72 h的样本BCR-ABL拷贝数检测水平显著低于低温储存的样本（P0.05）；③储存时间方面，与基线的3.35±1.60相比，总体样本的BCR-ABL拷贝数检测结果仅在室温储存储存下48 h（2.93±1.59）和72 h（2.79±1.42）显著下降（P0.05）；④振荡方面，与基线的−0.60±1.37相比，振荡3、6、12 h的样本BCR-ABL（P210）转录本水平检测结果无显著改变（P>0.05）。 结论 样本储存时间、储存温度及运输振荡因素可以影响BCR-ABL、ABL拷贝数的检测结果，但对BCR-ABL（P210）转录本水平定量检测结果无显著影响。

As a common engineering measure in “Gully consolidation and highland protection” project, warping dam plays a great role in soil and water conservation in the loess Plateau region. This paper selects the Yangjiagou small watershed in Qingyang City, Gansu Province as the research object, sets up a warping dam to simulate erosion reduction, and establishes a physical channel model with equal scale reduction, to reveal the reciprocal feeding mechanism of hydraulic erosion to the “Gully consolidation and highland protection” project. According to experimental calculations, the total erosion amount of the three erosion tests before the construction of the warping dam is 7.25kg, 8.02kg and 9.20kg, and the total erosion amount of the three erosion tests after the construction of the silt dam is 4.51kg, 5.25kg and 6.18kg. The sand interception efficiency in the three water flushing tests is 37.8%, 34.5% and 32.8%. The results show that the construction of warping dam can raise erosion base level and alleviate soil erosion effectively. And the warping dam can still play a part of its sediment reduction capacity after it has been scoured several times and partially destroyed. With the increase of use time, the effectiveness of the warping dam for blocking sand gradually decreases.

Two novel transition metal complexes of the formulae [Cu(5,5′-bpdc)(phen)]n (1) and [Mn(6,6′-bpdc)(phen)(H2O)]·H2O (2) (where phen = 1,10-phenanthroline, 5,5′-H2bpdc = 2,2′-bipyridine-5,5′-dicarboxylic acid, 6,6′-H2bpdc = 2,2′-bipyridine-6,6′-dicarboxylic acid) were synthesized by hydrothermal reaction. The complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, and thermogravimetry and differential scanning calorimetry. The X-ray crystallographic investigation reveals that 1 is a coordination polymer, and its asymmetric structural units are connected by oxygen atoms in the carboxyl group of 5,5′-bpdc2– anion. 2 is a heptacoordination monomer complex with mono-capped trigonal prismatic configuration and its mononuclear molecules are connected by hydrogen bonds to form supramolecular structure. The result of fluorescence shows that 2 has fluorescent property.

Individuals with Alzheimer disease and dementia experience cognitive decline and reduction in physical capabilities. Engaging in cognitive challenges and physical exercises is effective in reducing age-related cognitive and physical decline. It is believed that physical activity in the context of cognitive challenges might enhance the process of neurogenesis in the adult brain, but how effective are such interventions? Is there enough evidence to support that dual-task training is more effective than cognitive or physical training alone? To what extent can such training improve cognitive and physical functions in patients at various stages of cognitive decline?This systematic review with meta-analysis summarizes the emerging evidence of dual-task training for enhancing cognitive and physical functions in older individuals with cognitive impairment, dementia or Alzheimer's disease. A systematic search was carried out in MEDLINE, PubMed, EMBASE, and Cochrane Library with the following search terms: randomized control trials, dual-task training, SCD, MCI, dementia, and Alzheimer's disease.A total of 21 studies with 2,221 participants were identified. The results of dual-task tanning intervention are summarized as change in global cognitive function; SMD = 0.24, (P= 0.002), memory; SMD = 0.28, (P = 0.000), executive function; SMD = 0.35, (P = 0.000), attention; SMD = -0.19, (P = 0.1), gait speed; SMD = 0.26, (P = 0.007), dual-task cost; SMD 0.56, (P = 0.000), and balance; SMD 0.36, (P = 0.004).Primary analysis showed a small-to-medium positive effect of dual-task training interventions on cognitive functions and medium-to-large positive effect on gait functions and balance.

Background: Cation exchange capacity (CEC) is a basic but important soil property of soil fertility or quality, CEC predicting model is often derived from other soil properties measured more easily because the traditional method determining CEC is time-consuming and laborious. It is necessary to establish a new CEC prediction model for a new region because CEC predicting model usually is dependent on the study region. Objective: Chenzhou City is the most important and typical tobacco-planting region with tobacco-rice rotation in Hunan province and China, this study was conducted to establish CEC predicting model for the tobacco-planting fields in Chenzhou because so far no CEC predicting model is available for tobacco-planting fields in Chenzhou and in China. Method: In total 1055 topsoil samples (0∼20 cm) were collected in 2015 from the tobacco-planting fields in Chenzhou, soil properties included the particle size composition, pH, soil organic matter and various nutrients were determined, the status of CEC were assessed, and then CEC predicting models were setup in different regions in Chenzhou. Result: The results showed that CEC in Chenzhou was ranged from 3.50 to 48.50 cmol (+) kg-1 with a mean of 22.05 cmol (+) kg-1, averagely belonged to the very high grade (>20 cmol(+) kg-1). There were significant differences in CECs in different regions in Chenzhou, which was the highest in Jiahe (23.83 cmol(+) kg-1) but the lowest in Anren (15.78 cmol(+) kg-1). CEC was significantly correlated with different soil properties in different regions, which was significantly correlated with coarse sands, fine sands, clays, pH and total P in Chenzhou (R= 0.312**∼0.445**), significantly correlated with coarse sands, silts, fine sands, clays, pH, total P, exchangeable Ca2+, Mg2+ and available Zn in Suxian (R= 0.430**∼0.684**), significantly correlated with coarse sands, fine sands, silts, clays, pH, total P, available B and Cu in Yongxing (R=0.321**∼0.605**), significantly correlated with coarse sands, fine sands and clays and total P in Guiyang (R=0.330**∼0.477**), significantly correlated with coarse sands, silts and total K in Yizhang (R=0.326**∼0.466**), and only significantly correlated with fine sands in Jiahe (R=0.350**). The accuracy of CEC predicting model usually was lower when less properties involved. Based on the comparison of the R2 and RMSE of the established CEC predicting models, it is recommended that the total model for Chenzhou could be used for Guiyang, Jiahe and Yizhang, while the regional models should be selected for Yongxing, Anren and Suxian. Conclusion: This study proves further that different soil properties were most important for CEC predicting models in different regions, new CEC predicting models must be setup for a new study region, and soil organic matter is not a variable in soil CEC predicting models for tobacco-planting fields in Chenzhou, which are different from some previous studies.
