RESUMO O referido projeto se caracteriza nas implicações relacionais do desenvolvimento sociomoral da teoria psicogenética em Piaget sobre a construção cognoscente da ética nos vieses pessoais e em referenciais da dialética discursiva na linguística. Foram parametrizados a dados funcionais de treinamento e teste em um classificador de categorias urbano-sociais em uma abordagem analítica textual por Processamento de Linguagem Natural (PLN), e baseado no mecanismo de atenção adaptada Transformers. Nessa perspectiva, desenvolveu-se uma metodologia de mitigação de viés para a reestruturação do crivo e critério que datasets multimodais são retreinados, retestados e reavaliados. Finalmente, verificou-se e validou-se a heterogeneidade da ética comum coletiva humana, sobre inferências interpretativas, insights e tendências sociais reais que a relação cidade/cidadão aborda o “social sensing” na identificação de problemas público-sociais.

Objective: to assess the knowledge about social support and mental health of people diagnosed with cancer, smokers, and alcohol users, and the implications of these behaviors for cancer treatment. Methods: integrative review using the following databases: CINAHL, Embase, LILACS, PsycINFO, MEDLINE, SCOPUS, and Web of Science, without restriction of period and language. The data was analyzed descriptively. Results: 3,010 documents were identified, 14 studies were eligible. The different types of social support received by people with cancer and a history of alcohol and tobacco use stand out: emotional (n=5), informational (n=4), family and material (n=2 each), religious, sexual-affective partner, tangible, affective, positive social interaction, instrumental and social companionship (n=1 each). Conclusion: targeted social support that is sensitive to the particularities of the history of substance use can significantly improve the way people cope with the disease and treatment. Contributions to practice: providing integrated social support for this population is essential for thinking about quality of life throughout treatment and recovery.

This study investigates the influence of open porosity rate and trabeculae diameter on the compressive behavior of structure printed by DLP technology. Three types of structures have been studied : two periodic structures (Cubic and Octet) and one aperiodic structure (Voronoi-based). Each of these structures are printed with a porosity of 40, 60 and 80 % and also with two different trabeculae diameters: 0.45 mm and 0.66 mm. We investigated porosity by micro-tomograpy with ImageJ for the data treatment. We determined the curing time by making a compressive test for different lengths of UV cure. The first results of the study show that Cubic structure has better Young’s Modulus and also better mechanical stress than Octet and Voronoi-based structures.

The aim of this work was to design, print, and examine elastic properties of porous structures with various parameters and beam distributions. These structures, generated using an algorithm, featured three types of lattices: octet, cubic, and Voronoi diagram-based, with different porosities (40 %, 60 %, 80 %) and beam sizes (0.45 mm, 0.66 mm). They were printed using Direct Light Processing and examined using X-ray computed microtomography. Compression tests were conducted to determine the Young’s modulus. The results were compared with computer simulations performed using Abaqus. The tools used, such as 3D printing and X-ray computed microtomography, were described, and the results and conclusions of the tests were presented. As a result, comparable outcomes were obtained for structures with higher beam diameter, while significantly different results were observed for structures with lower beam diameter.

Objetivo: Conhecer as situações cotidianas que desencadeiam o sofrimento psíquico em adolescentes escolares da periferia. Métodos: Pesquisa qualitativa, na vertente pesquisa-ação. Realizada em uma escola pública de Ensino Fundamental II e Médio da cidade de São Paulo. A coleta de dados foi por meio de oficinas, técnica grupal para coleta de dados em grupos. Para a organização do material, foi empregado o Software WebQDA. Os temas encontrados foram analisados pela teoria da Interseccionalidade. Resultados: Participaram 39 adolescentes com faixa etária de 14 a 17 anos. Destes, 21 se autodeclaram pardos, oito negros, oito brancos, um indígena e um amarelo. 18 do sexo feminino e 21 masculino. Das análises, emergiram três categorias temáticas relacionadas às suas situações cotidianas que levam ao sofrimento psíquico: discriminação racial; relações de gênero e conflitos familiares. Conclusões: As situações cotidianas que desencadeiam o sofrimento psíquico em adolescentes escolares, são delineadas pelos marcadores sociais da diferença. Os marcadores sociais de raça/cor, classe social, gênero e local de moradia circulam os temas apreendidos, posicionando os adolescentes na hierarquia social. Todavia, ao tensionar essas hierarquias, tanto no ambiente da casa quanto no social, os adolescentes sofrem psiquicamente. A análise interseccional dialogada com a teoria da determinação social do processo saúde-doença-mental, possibilitou entender as iniquidades de saúde, que acentuam o sofrimento psíquico, rejeitando a noção de que ele advém de um único marcador social da diferença.

Sterile alpha motif domain-containing proteins 9 and 9-like (SAMD9/9L) are associated with life-threatening genetic diseases in humans and are restriction factors of poxviruses. Yet, their cellular function and the extent of their antiviral role are poorly known. Here, we found that interferon-stimulated human SAMD9L restricts HIV-1 in the late phases of replication, at the posttranscriptional and prematuration steps, impacting viral translation and, possibly, endosomal trafficking. Surprisingly, the paralog SAMD9 exerted an opposite effect, enhancing HIV-1. More broadly, we showed that SAMD9L restricts primate lentiviruses, but not a gammaretrovirus (MLV), nor 2 RNA viruses (arenavirus MOPV and rhabdovirus VSV). Using structural modeling and mutagenesis of SAMD9L, we identified a conserved Schlafen-like active site necessary for HIV-1 restriction by human and a rodent SAMD9L. By testing a gain-of-function constitutively active variant from patients with SAMD9L-associated autoinflammatory disease, we determined that SAMD9L pathogenic functions also depend on the Schlafen-like active site. Finally, we found that the constitutively active SAMD9L strongly inhibited HIV, MLV, and, to a lesser extent, MOPV. This suggests that the virus-specific effect of SAMD9L may involve its differential activation/sensing and the virus ability to evade from SAMD9L restriction. Overall, our study identifies SAMD9L as an HIV-1 antiviral factor from the cell autonomous immunity and deciphers host determinants underlying the translational repression. This provides novel links and therapeutic avenues against viral infections and genetic diseases.

Introdução: A População em Situação de Rua (PSR) é definida como um grupo populacional heterogêneo que tem em comum a pobreza extrema, os vínculos familiares interrompidos ou fragilizados e a falta de um local de moradia convencional regular. Objetivo: Analisar a cotidianidade do viver em situação de rua na concepção da PSR de uma capital do nordeste brasileiro. Métodos: Pesquisa qualitativa realizada com 30 participantes por meio de entrevista com roteiro semiestruturado e um questionário sociodemográfico, entre novembro de 2019 e janeiro de 2020. Os dados quantitativos foram analisados conforme estatística descritiva e os qualitativos foram submetidos à análise temática. Resultados: Diante da escuta da PSR foram construídas as categorias temáticas: Vivência e experiência das pessoas em situação de rua; Cotidiano das pessoas em situação de rua; O olhar das pessoas em situação de rua sobre as políticas públicas. Conclusão: Acredita-se que existe o anseio de sair de tal situação e que isso é possível por meio de políticas públicas voltadas a essa população. Releva-se que as condições de vida devem ser melhoradas. Enfatiza-se a importância do trabalho multi e interdisciplinar a partir da intersetorialidade entre órgãos públicos sociais, de saúde, previdenciários, dentre outros.

Although physical activity and sedentary behavior are moderately heritable, little is known about the mechanisms that influence these traits. Combining data for up to 703,901 individuals from 51 studies in a multi-ancestry meta-analysis of genome-wide association studies yields 99 loci that associate with self-reported moderate-to-vigorous intensity physical activity during leisure time (MVPA), leisure screen time (LST) and/or sedentary behavior at work. Loci associated with LST are enriched for genes whose expression in skeletal muscle is altered by resistance training. A missense variant in ACTN3 makes the alpha-actinin-3 filaments more flexible, resulting in lower maximal force in isolated type IIA muscle fibers, and possibly protection from exercise-induced muscle damage. Finally, Mendelian randomization analyses show that beneficial effects of lower LST and higher MVPA on several risk factors and diseases are mediated or confounded by body mass index (BMI). Our results provide insights into physical activity mechanisms and its role in disease prevention.

This study assessed the influence of information literacy training on graduate students' self-rated ability to search using academic databases and the internet to find information, as well as their objective information literacy skills through a survey in 2017 at the University of Windsor. After controlling for a comprehensive set of covariates, there was not a statistically significant difference in self-rated searching ability between students with training and those without any training. However, the trained students' average objective assessment scores in the five dimensions of information literacy were significantly higher than those of students without any training at the significant level [alpha]=0.05.

Introdução: A População em Situação de Rua é numerosa, principalmente nos grandes centros urbanos e vivenciam desigualdades e privação de direitos, vivendo em um contexto de insegurança. Convém destacar a exposição a vários tipos de violência, imposta por ações preconceituosas e pela discriminação sofrida no cotidiano e que podem ocorrer tanto nas ruas, como nos espaços institucionalizados, como albergues, o que dificulta encontrar locais seguros que garantam sua integridade física e mental. Objetivo: analisar as condições de violência vivenciadas pela PSR de uma capital do nordeste brasileiro. Método: estudo transversal realizado com 127 participantes em um Centro de Referência Especializado para População em Situação de Rua, Serviço Especializado de Abordagem Social e Albergue Municipal, localizados em uma capital do nordeste brasileiro. A coleta de dados ocorreu entre novembro de 2019 a março de 2020, sendo utilizado questionário semiestruturado apresentando variáveis sociodemográficas e econômicas e questões relacionadas ao contexto de rua. Os dados foram analisados de forma descritiva. A pesquisa recebeu parecer de aprovação nº 3.152.268 pela Universidade Federal do Piauí. Resultados: Quanto ao tipo de violência vivenciada por esta população, evidenciou-se a psicológica (36,3%), física (32,7%), automutilação com intenção suicida (47,6%) e tentativa de suicídio (47,6%). Conclusão: Foram evidenciadas as violências psicológica, física, automutilação com intenção suicida e tentativa de suicídio.

Resumo Ainda é desconhecido o papel da amizade enquanto constitutiva da rede de apoio social nos transtornos alimentares (TAs). Esta revisão integrativa teve por objetivo analisar a produção científica sobre relações de amizade em pessoas com TAs. Foram consultadas as bases PubMed/MEDLINE, LILACS, PsycINFO, Web of Science e EMBASE, de 2010 a 2020. Dos 1126 artigos recuperados, 15 preencheram os critérios de elegibilidade. A maioria tem abordagem qualitativa e delineamento transversal, sem indicar referencial teórico. Aspectos qualitativos das relações de amizade foram associados com redução da frequência e intensidade de sintomas quando o vínculo era considerado de boa qualidade. Já amizades que envolviam comentários depreciativos e influências negativas acerca do corpo e hábitos alimentares foram considerados fatores de risco para desencadeamento dos transtornos. Investir na qualidade dos relacionamentos entre pares pode contribuir para fortalecer a rede de proteção social e reduzir a vulnerabilidade psicossocial de adolescentes com risco para desenvolver TAs.

Este estudo etnográfico tem como objetivo descrever a experiência de profissionais de saúde de uma equipe multiprofissional com a transição para o atendimento online durante a pandemia de COVID-19 em um serviço ambulatorial de assistência em transtornos alimentares de um hospital universitário do interior paulista. Utilizou-se o método etnográfico e como referencial teórico a Teoria Interpretativa da Cultura de Geertz. O corpus de pesquisa foi construído com base em observação participante e registros de diário da pesquisadora, coligidos em caderneta de campo durante as reuniões semanais da equipe multiprofissional ocorridas entre julho e dezembro de 2021. Os resultados foram organizados em dois eixos temáticos: (1) Mudanças percebidas na relação com as(os) usuárias(os) do serviço, no qual se destacam aspectos relacionados à preocupação das(os) profissionais com a adesão das pacientes à modalidade remota, os desafios das novas formas de produzir cuidado e a qualidade da comunicação profissional-paciente-familiares. (2) Experiências de uma equipe multidisciplinar que teve de se reinventar durante a pandemia, eixo temático que aborda os esforços para manutenção da motivação e coesão grupal entre as(os) profissionais na transição para os cuidados mediados por tecnologia digital e os desafios enfrentados para preservar, dentro do possível, a sensação de proximidade e acolhimento durante os atendimentos online. Conclui-se que a pandemia impactou de diversas formas o vínculo das(os) profissionais de saúde com seu trabalho e com as(os) pacientes e familiares, o que reforça a importância de potencializar as trocas proporcionadas pelo ambiente virtual em tempos de incerteza e recolhimento compulsório. É necessário considerar tanto os fatores favorecedores como limitantes da transição para os atendimentos mediados pelo uso de tecnologia, ponderando seus efeitos sobre a qualidade do vínculo e a efetividade do tratamento. This ethnographic study aims to describe the experience of health professionals from a multiprofessional team with the transition to online care during the pandemic of COVID-19 in an outpatient service of assistance in eating disorders of a university hospital in the interior of São Paulo. The ethnographic method was used and Geertz's Interpretive Theory of Culture was used as theoretical reference. The research corpus was built based on participant observation and the researcher's diary entries, collected in a field notebook during the weekly meetings of the multiprofessional team that took place between July and December 2021. The results were organized into two thematic axes: (1) Perceived changes in the relationship with service users, in which aspects related to the concern of professionals with the adherence of patients to the remote modality, the challenges of the new ways of producing care, and the quality of professional-patient-family communication are highlighted. (2) Experiences of a multidisciplinary team that had to reinvent itself during the pandemic, a thematic axis that addresses the efforts to maintain motivation and group cohesion among professionals in the transition to care mediated by digital technology and the challenges faced to preserve, as much as possible, the feeling of closeness and welcome during online care. It is concluded that the pandemic impacted in several ways the bond of health professionals with their work and with patients and families, which reinforces the importance of potentiating the exchanges provided by the virtual environment in times of uncertainty and mandatory withdrawal. It is necessary to consider both the favoring and limiting factors of the transition to care mediated by the use of technology, pondering its effects on the quality of the bond and the effectiveness of treatment.

Penetrometers and penetrographers are widely used to measure soil resistance to penetration, but the results are associated with other soil properties (such as bulk density, water content, and particle size distribution). Thus, for an adequate interpretation of results, site-specific studies are necessary to identify which properties are more related to soil resistance. We aimed to measure the resistance to penetration of a Typic Paleudalf under distinct soil uses and to identify soil properties that influence soil resistance. The soil uses in this study included anthropized forest (composed of tree and shrub species), pasture (5-year-old pasture), Eucalyptus 20 (a 20-year-old Eucalyptus saligna stand), and Eucalyptus 4.5 (a 4.5-year-old Eucalyptus saligna under the second rotation). Soil resistance to penetration was measured with an impact penetrometer, and the data were correlated with other physical and mechanical properties of soil, such as the particle size, soil moisture, air permeability, saturated hydraulic conductivity, porosity, bulk density, precompression stress, and compressibility index. We observed that a resistance of 1.3 MPa matches with other soil property values corresponding to soil compaction, and values greater than 1.3 MPa were verified at depths of 0–8 cm for pasture and 8–30 cm for Eucalyptus 4.5. Analyzing all soil uses together, the correlation was significant (p < 0.05) with gravel (r = 0.34), silt (r = −0.32), clay (r = 0.26), gravimetric moisture (r = −0.27), macroporosity (r = 0.24), and soil bulk density at the end of the compressibility test (r = 0.27). The penetrometer is useful for evaluating the physical conditions of soil, but we highlight that soil resistance is influenced by factors such as particle size and soil moisture, as examples. We recommend using a set of soil properties for a better interpretation of penetration resistance data and to support decision-making regarding soil management.
