This paper presents a novel approach to address the Production Routing Problem with Privacy Preserving (PRPPP) in supply chain optimization. The integrated optimization of production, inventory, distribution, and routing decisions in real-world industry applications poses several challenges, including increased complexity, discrepancies between planning and execution, and constraints on information sharing. To mitigate these challenges, this paper proposes the use of intelligent agent negotiation within a hybrid Multi-Agent System (MAS) integrated with optimization algorithms. The MAS facilitates communication and coordination among entities, encapsulates private information, and enables negotiation. This, along with optimization algorithms, makes it a compelling framework for establishing optimal solutions. We report Mo isotopic compositions of 37 presolar SiC grains of types Y (19) and Z (18), rare types commonly argued to have formed in lower-than-solar metallicity asymptotic giant branch (AGB) stars. Direct comparison of the Y and Z grain data with data for mainstream grains from AGB stars of close-to-solar metallicity demonstrates that the three types of grains have indistinguishable Mo isotopic compositions. We show that the Mo isotope data can be used to constrain the maximum stellar temperatures (TMAX) during thermal pulses in AGB stars. Comparison of FRUITY Torino AGB nucleosynthesis model calculations with the grain data for Mo isotopes points to an origin from low-mass (~1.5-3 Msun) rather than intermediate-mass (>3-~9 Msun) AGB stars. Because of the low efficiency of 22Ne({\alpha},n)25Mg at the low TMAX values attained in low-mass AGB stars, model calculations cannot explain the large 30Si excesses of Z grains as arising from neutron capture, so these excesses remain a puzzle at the moment., Comment: The Astrophysical Journal (Accepted)

We report Mo isotopic data for 16 15N-rich presolar SiC grains of type AB (14N/15Nsolar), thus providing further support to the division of the two AB subgroups recently proposed by Liu et al. (2017a), who showed that AB1 grains most likely originated from Type II supernovae (SNe) with explosive H burning. Comparison of the Sr, Mo, and Ba isotopic compositions of the AB1 grains with SN model predictions indicates that the s-process isotopic compositions of AB1 grains resulted from neutron-capture processes occurring during the progenitor massive stars' pre-SN evolution rather than from an explosive neutron-capture process. In addition, the observations of (1) explosive H burning occurring in the C-rich regions of the progenitor SNe of SN X grains as suggested by the isotopic compositions of X grains, and (2) explosive H burning occurring both at the bottom of the He/C zone and at the top of the He/N zone as suggested by model simulations, imply that explosive H burning is a common phenomenon in outer SN zones., Comment: ApJ, in press

We report Mo isotopic data of 27 new presolar SiC grains, including 12 14N-rich AB (14N/15N>440, AB2) and 15 mainstream (MS) grains, and their correlated Sr and Ba isotope ratios when available. Direct comparison of the data for the MS grains, which came from low-mass asymptotic giant branch (AGB) stars with large s-process isotope enhancements, with the AB2 grain data demonstrates that AB2 grains show near-solar isotopic compositions and lack s-process enhancements. The near-normal Sr, Mo, and Ba isotopic compositions of AB2 grains clearly exclude born-again AGB stars, where the intermediate neutron-capture process (i-process) takes place, as their stellar source. On the other hand, low-mass CO novae, and early R- and J-type carbon stars show 13C and 14N excesses but no s-process enhancements and are thus potential stellar sources of AB2 grains. Since both early R-type carbon stars and CO novae are rare objects, the abundant J-type carbon stars (10-15% of all carbon stars) are thus likely to be a dominant source of AB2 grains., Comment: 4 figures

We present an analysis of the Nb3Sn surface layers grown on a bulk niobium (Nb) coupon prepared at the same time and by the same vapor diffusion process used to make Nb3Sn coatings on 1.3 GHz cavities. Tunneling spectroscopy reveals a well-developed, homogeneous superconducting density of states at the surface with a gap value distribution centered around 2.7 meV and superconducting critical temperature (Tc) up to 16.3 K. Scanning Electron microscopy (STEM) performed on cross section of the sample's surface region shows a 2 microns thick Nb3Sn surface layer. The elemental composition map exhibits a Nb over Sn ratio of 3 and reveals the presence of buried sub-stoichiometric regions that have a ratio f 5. Synchrotron x-ray diffraction experiments indicate a polycrystalline Nb3Sn film and confirm the presence of Nb rich regions that occupy about a third of the coating volume. These low Tc regions could play an important role in the dissipation mechanism occurring during RF tests of Nb3Sn-coated cavities and open the way for further improving a very promising alternative to pure Nb cavities for particle accelerators., Comment: 4 pages, 4 figures

We identify three isotopic tracers that can be used to constrain the $^{13}C$-pocket and show the correlated isotopic ratios of Sr and Ba in single mainstream presolar SiC grains. These newly measured data can be explained by postprocess AGB model calculations with large $^{13}C$-pockets with a range of relatively low $^{13}C$ concentrations, which may suggest that multiple mixing processes contributed to the $^{13}C$-pocket formation in parent AGB stars.

We present strontium, barium, carbon, and silicon isotopic compositions of 61 acid-cleaned presolar SiC grains from Murchison. Comparison with previous data shows that acid washing is highly effective in removing both strontium and barium contamination. For the first time, by using correlated $^{88}Sr$/$^{86}Sr$ and $^{138}Ba$/$^{136}Ba$ ratios in mainstream SiC grains, we are able to resolve the effect of $^{13}C$ concentration from that of $^{13}C$-pocket mass on s-process nucleosynthesis, which points towards the existence of large $^{13}C$-pockets with low $^{13}C$ concentration in AGB stars. The presence of such large $^{13}$R-pockets with a variety of relatively low $^{13}C$ concentrations seems to require multiple mixing processes in parent AGB stars of mainstream SiC grains.

We present postprocess AGB nucleosynthesis models with different $^{13}$C-pocket internal structures to better explain zirconium isotope measurements in mainstream presolar SiC grains by Nicolussi et al. (1997) and Barzyk et al. (2007). We show that higher-than-solar $^{92}$Zr/$^{94}$Zr ratios can be predicted by adopting a $^{13}$C-pocket with a flat $^{13}$C profile, instead of the previous decreasing-with-depth $^{13}$C profile. The improved agreement between grain data for zirconium isotopes and AGB models provides additional support for a recent proposal of a flat $^{13}$C profile based on barium isotopes in mainstream SiC grains by Liu et al. (2014).

We present barium, carbon, and silicon isotopic compositions of 38 acid-cleaned presolar SiC grains from Murchison. Comparison with previous data shows that acid washing is highly effective in removing barium contamination. Strong depletions in $\delta$($^{138}$Ba/$^{136}$Ba) values are found, down to $-$400 permil, which can only be modeled with a flatter $^{13}$C profile within the $^{13}$C pocket than is normally used. The dependence of $\delta$($^{138}$Ba/$^{136}$Ba) predictions on the distribution of $^{13}$C within the pocket in AGB models allows us to probe the $^{13}$C profile within the $^{13}$C pocket and the pocket mass in asymptotic giant branch (AGB) stars. In addition, we provide constraints on the $^{22}$Ne$(\alpha,n)^{25}$Mg rate in the stellar temperature regime relevant to AGB stars, based on $\delta$($^{134}$Ba/$^{136}$Ba) values of mainstream grains. We found two nominally mainstream grains with strongly negative $\delta$($^{134}$Ba/$^{136}$Ba) values that cannot be explained by any of the current AGB model calculations. Instead, such negative values are consistent with the intermediate neutron capture process ($i$-process), which is activated by the Very Late Thermal Pulse (VLTP) during the post-AGB phase and characterized by a neutron density much higher than the $s$-process. These two grains may have condensed around post-AGB stars. Finally, we report abundances of two $p$-process isotopes, $^{130}$Ba and $^{132}$Ba, in single SiC grains. These isotopes are destroyed in the $s$-process in AGB stars. By comparing their abundances with respect to that of $^{135}$Ba, we conclude that there is no measurable decay of $^{135}$Cs ($t_{1/2}$= 2.3 Ma) to $^{135}$Ba in individual SiC grains, indicating condensation of barium, but not cesium into SiC grains before $^{135}$Cs decayed.

A tunneling spectroscopy study is presented of superconducting MoN and Nb$_{0.8}$Ti$_{0.2}$N thin films grown by atomic layer deposition (ALD). The films exhibited a superconducting gap of 2meV and 2.4meV respectively with a corresponding critical temperature of 11.5K and 13.4K, among the highest reported $T_c$ values achieved by the ALD technique. Tunnel junctions were obtained using a mechanical contact method with a Au tip. While the native oxides of these films provided poor tunnel barriers, high quality tunnel junctions with low zero bias conductance (below $\sim$10%) were obtained using an artificial tunnel barrier of Al$_2$O$_3$ on the film's surface grown $\textit{ex situ}$ by ALD. We find a large critical current density on the order of $4\times 10^6$A/cm$^2$ at $T=0.8T_c$ for a 60nm MoN film and demonstrate conformal coating capabilities of ALD onto high aspect ratio geometries. Heteroepitaxial growth of selected group IV-VI nitrides on various orientations of sapphire (\alpha-Al2O3) is demonstrated using atomic layer deposition. High quality, epitaxial films are produced at significantly lower temperatures than required by conventional deposition methods. Characterization of electrical and superconducting properties of epitaxial films reveals a reduced room temperature resistivity and increased residual resistance ratio (RRR) for films deposited on sapphire compared to polycrystalline samples deposited concurrently on fused quartz substrates., Comment: 3 figures, 1 table, ~4 pages

We report results of high-resolution TOF SIMS (time of flight secondary ion mass spectrometry) depth profiling experiments on a nanolayered structure, a stack of 16 alternating MgO and ZnO ~5.5 nm layers grown on a Si substrate by atomic layer deposition. The measurements were performed using a newly developed approach implementing a low energy direct current normally incident Ar+ ion beam for sample material removal by sputtering (250 eV and 500 eV energy), in combination with a pulsed 5 keV Ar+ ion beam at 60{\deg} incidence for TOF SIMS analysis. By this optimized arrangement, a noticeably improved version of known dual-beam (DB) approach to TOF SIMS depth profiling is introduced, which can be called gentleDB. We apply the mixing-roughness-information model to detailed analysis of experimental results. It reveals that the gentleDB approach allows ultimate depth resolution by confining the ion beam mixing length to about 2 monolayers. This corresponds to the escape depth of secondary ions, the fundamental depth resolution limitation in SIMS. Other parameters deduced from the measured depth profiles indicate that a single layer thickness equals to 6 nm so that "flat" layer thickness d is of 3 nm and interfacial roughness {\sigma} is of 1.5 nm thus yielding d+2\bullet{\sigma}=6 nm. In essence, we have demonstrated that the gentleDB TOF SIMS depth profiling with noble gas ion beams is capable of revealing structural features of a stack of nanolayers, resolving its original surface and estimating the roughness of interlayer interfaces, which is difficult to obtain by traditional approaches., Comment: 7 pages and 4 figures

Motivated by the problem of the residual surface resistance of the superconducting radio-frequency (SRF) cavities, we develop a microscopic theory of the surface impedance of s-wave superconductors with magnetic impurities. We analytically calculate the current response function and surface impedance for a sample with spatially uniform distribution of impurities, treating magnetic impurities in the framework of the Shiba theory. The obtained general expressions hold in a wide range of parameter values, such as temperature, frequency, mean free path, and exchange coupling strength. This generality, on the one hand, allows for direct numerical implementation of our results to describe experimental systems (SRF cavities, superconducting qubits) under various practically relevant conditions. On the other hand, explicit analytical expressions can be obtained in a number of limiting cases, which makes possible further theoretical investigation of certain regimes. As a feature of key relevance to SRF cavities, we show that in the regime of "gapless superconductivity" the surface resistance exhibits saturation at zero temperature. Our theory thus explicitly demonstrates that magnetic impurities, presumably contained in the oxide surface layer of the SRF cavities, provide a microscopic mechanism for the residual resistance., Comment: 9 pages, 3 figs; v2: published version

Atomic layer deposition was used to synthesize niobium silicide (NbSi) films with a 1:1 stoichiometry, using NbF5 and Si2H6 as precursors. The growth mechanism at 200oC was examined by in-situ quartz crystal microbalance (QCM) and quadrupole mass spectrometer (QMS). This study revealed a self-limiting reaction with a growth rate of 4.5 {\AA}/cycle. NbSi was found to grow only on oxide-free films prepared using halogenated precursors. The electronic properties, growth rate, chemical composition, and structure of the films were studied over the deposition temperature range 150-400oC. For all temperatures, the films are found to be stoichiometric NbSi (1:1) with no detectable fluorine impurities, amorphous with a density of 6.65g/cm3, and metallic with a resistivity {\rho}=150 {\mu}{\Omega}.cm at 300K for films thicker than 35 nm. The growth rate was nearly constant for deposition temperatures between 150-275oC, but increases above 300oC suggesting the onset of non-self limiting growth. The electronic properties of the films were measured down to 1.2K and revealed a superconducting transition at Tc=3.1K. A method to treat the surface of Nb is described which potentially can improve the performance of superconducting RF cavities. We present tunneling and x-ray photoemission spectroscopy (XPS) measurements at the surface of cavity-grade niobium samples coated with a 3 nm alumina overlayer deposited by Atomic Layer Deposition (ALD). The coated samples baked in ultra high vacuum (UHV) at low temperature reveal at first degraded superconducting surface. However, at temperatures above 450C, the tunneling conductance curves show significant improvements of the superconducting density of states (DOS) compared with untreated surfaces., Comment: 3 pages, 2 figures

Tunneling spectroscopy was performed on Nb pieces prepared by the same processes used to etch and clean superconducting radio frequency (SRF) cavities. Air exposed, electropolished Nb exhibited a surface superconducting gap delta=1.55 meV, characteristic of clean, bulk Nb. However the tunneling density of states (DOS) was broadened significantly. The Nb pieces treated with the same mild baking used to improve the Q-slope in SRF cavities, reveal a sharper DOS. Good fits to the DOS were obtained using Shiba theory, suggesting that magnetic scattering of quasiparticles is the origin of the gapless surface superconductivity and a heretofore unrecognized contributor to the Q-slope problem of Nb SRF cavities., Comment: 3 pages, 3 figures

Presolar SiC grains formed around Asymptotic Giant Branch (AGB) stars during their carbon-rich phase and contain heavy elements in trace amounts showing the signature of the slow neutron capture process (s process). Thanks to recent advances in analysis techniques, SiC data now provide extremely precise information on neutron capture cross sections and AGB models. For example, high-precision data for Mo in single SiC grains indicate that a revision of the 95Mo neutron capture cross section is needed, while data for Zr indicates that the 22Ne(alpha,n)25Mg reaction cannot be a dominant neutron source for the s process in AGB stars. We present model predictions for the composition of Fe-peak elements in AGB stars.
