In the present paper, we investigate theoretically and experimentally the structural and optical properties of cadmium oxide semiconductor. The reflectance and transmittance spectra in the [1.5 - 3.5]eV range of a thin CdO film prepared by spray pyrolysis has been carried out. Enhancing the efficiency of the electric vehicle's powertrain becomes a crucial focus, wherein the control system for the traction motor plays a significant role. This paper presents a novel electric vehicle traction motor control system based on a robust predictive direct torque control approach, an improved version of the conventional DTC, where the traditional switching table and the hysteresis regulators are substituted with a predictive block based on an optimization algorithm. Additionally, a robust predictive speed loop regulator is employed instead of the proportional-integral regulator, which integrates a new cost function with a finite horizon, incorporating integral action into the control law based on a Taylor series expansion. This technique's primary benefit is its independence from the necessity to measure and observe external disturbances, as well as uncertainties related to parameters. The effectiveness of the suggested system was confirmed through simulation and experimental results under the OPAL-RT platform. The findings indicate that the proposed approach outperforms the conventional method in terms of rejecting disturbances, exhibiting robustness to variations in parameters, and minimizing torque ripple., (© 2024. In the title compound, C12H8BrN3O, the 4-bromo-phenol ring is coplanar with the planar imidazo[4,5-b]pyridine moiety (r.m.s deviation = 0.015 Å), making a dihedral angle of 1.8 (2)°. There is an intra-molecular O-H⋯N hydrogen bond forming an S(6) ring motif. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked via N-H⋯N and O-H⋯Br hydrogen bonds, forming undulating sheets parallel to (10-2). The sheets are linked by π-π inter-actions [inter-centroid distance = 3.7680 (17) Å], involving inversion-related mol-ecules, forming a three-dimensional structure.

The whole mol-ecule of the title compound, C27H26N2O2, is generated by twofold rotational symmetry, with the central C atom of the pentyl chain located on the twofold rotation axis. The compound crystallizes as a bis-zwitterion, and there are two intra-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds generating S(6) ring motifs. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked by pairs of C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, forming ribbons propagating along [001], and enclosing R 2 (2)(22) ring motifs.

The title compound, C34H40N2O2, exists in an extended conformation and has crystallographically imposed centrosymmetry. The crystal packing can be described as being composed of parallel layers stacked along [010]. The zwitterionic structure is stabilized by an intra-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen-bond inter-action.

Mononuclear zinc(II) complex, [Zn(II)L], where L is a dianionic ligand, has been synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, electronic, IR and NMR [(1)H, (13)C, DEPT, (1)H-(1)H COSY, ROESY, HSQC and HMBC] spectroscopic techniques. Structural analysis of the complex by single crystal X-ray crystallography shows the presence of a distorted square planar coordination geometry (NNOO) of the metal center. The crystal of the title complex C28H18N2O2Zn belongs to the orthorhombic system with space group Pmn21. The whole molecule of the title Schiff base compound, C28H28N2O2, is generated by inversion symmetry. It is formed from two units of ortho-hy-droxy-naphthaldehyde bridged with 1,6-di-amino-hexane. The N atoms are protonated and, thus, the structure is a bis-zwitterionic compound in the solid state. The zwitterion shows strong intra-molecular N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds between the iminium N and the naphthaleno-late O atoms.

In order to make a wind power generation truly cost-effective and reliable, an advanced control techniques must be used. In this paper, we develop a new control strategy, using nonlinear generalized predictive control (NGPC) approach, for DFIG-based wind turbine. The proposed control law is based on two points: NGPC-based torque-current control loop generating the rotor reference voltage and NGPC-based speed control loop that provides the torque reference. In order to enhance the robustness of the controller, a disturbance observer is designed to estimate the aerodynamic torque which is considered as an unknown perturbation. The asymmetric unit of the title compound, C(18)H(20)N(2)O(4), contains one-half mol-ecule with an inversion center located at the centroid of the mol-ecule. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked by C-H⋯π inter-actions, forming layers parallel to (101). An intra-molecular O-H⋯N hydrogen bond also occurs.
