外国語としての日本語教育が果たす役割と成果と可能性を主張する。日本語学習者と教授者の観点から、期せずして日本語が必要になったウクライナ人学生に対する支援として、日本語教育を専攻とする日本語母語・非母語話者からなる大学院生チームによる日本語集中コースを事例として紹介する。筑波大学では、ウクライナ侵攻を受け、2022年12月までにウクライナ学生を30名以上の学生を受け入れている。7月から9月に渡日したウクライナ学生の日本語レベルは様々であり、複数レベルのクラス対応、また文化紹介のアクティビティも交えて行った内容、そして、学習者および教授者のアンケート回答と本コースの意義を報告する。, The role and possibilities for teaching Japanese as a foreign language will be discussed from the perspectives of learners and instructors. As a case study of support for learners who unexpectedly need Japanese language instruction, an intensive Japanese language course offered by a team of graduate students majoring in Japanese language education and composed of native and non-native speakers of Japanese will be presented. The University of Tsukuba will have accepted more than 30 Ukrainian students by December 2022 following the invasion of Ukraine. Since the Ukrainian students who entered Japan between July and September had various levels of Japanese, the course provided multi-level class support and activities to introduce the culture. The following is a report on the content and significance of the program, as well as the responses to a questionnaire by the students and instructors.

本報告では、日本語・日本事情遠隔教育拠点の2020年度の利用状況に加え、2020年秋から2021年夏までに日本語・日本事情遠隔教育拠点で行った活動について述べる。本報告期間の主な活動は「TTBJ」「筑波ウェブコーパス」の多言語化、「リーディング・チュウ太」の運用開始と「学習項目解析システム」の運用再開、広報の強化であった。これらの活動を実施することで、さまざまなコンテンツを知ってもらい、日本語教育の現場でさらに活用してもらう体制を整えたことを報告する。, This report describes the activities conducted at the Center for Distance Learning of Japanese and Japanese Issues from the fall of 2020 to the summer of 2021, in addition to the status of its use in FY2020. The main activities during this reporting period were the multilingualization of "TTBJ" and "Tsukuba Web Corpus," the launch of "Reading Tutor" at the University of Tsukuba, the resumption of the operation of the "Learning Item Analysis System," and the strengthening of public relations. By carrying out these activities, we report that the Center’s contents has become more known to the public with an increased utilization in Japanese language education.

本稿では、茨城県内の公立小学校で理科学習につながる日本語学習の個別最適化教育の実践活動について報告する。外国人児童は、国籍や母語をはじめ、日本滞在時期、両親の日本語力、多様な背景・事情を持っていることから、従来、学校教育で用いられてきたような発達段階に合わせ、カリキュラムなどに沿って固定された順序性を持つ標準的な支援の形をつくることが非常に困難であり、そのような支援がないのが現状である。実践活動では、実際に使用している理科の教科書に出現する「語彙」と「表現・文型」の2点に焦点を絞り、教材作成を行った。児童は、支援教材が導入された単元のテストでは、児童は満点をとることができ、自ら日本語で報告することもできるようになり、内面的にも変化が見られ、学習者のモチベーション向上にもつながったと思われる。, In this paper, we report on the practical activities of individualized Jap￢anese language learning leading to science education at a public elementary school in Ibaraki Prefecture. Because foreign children have diverse backgrounds and cir￢cumstances, including nationality, mother language, period of stay in Japan and Japanese language ability of their parents, it is difficult to create a standard form of support that matches the developmental stages and the fixed schedule used in school education. In this practical activity, we focused on vocabulary and sentence patterns that appear in the science textbooks and created teaching materials. The research subject was able to get a perfect score in the unit test for which the support material was developed and became able to report in Japanese.

本稿では、2019 年度後半から2020 年度に日本語・日本事情遠隔教育拠点で行った事業について報告する。１）日本語・日本事情遠隔教育拠点の開始と同時に開発が開始された「筑波日本語e ラーニング」を閉鎖したこと、２）TTBJ のHTML ５への改修とHP の多言語化、３）生活日本語アプリ「にほんごアベニュー」の開発、４）日本語・日本事情遠隔教育拠点の情報を配信するニュースレターの開始他について述べる。最後に、本年度は第２期から第３期への移行期であったが、本年度から始まった第３期の５年間、今後どのように拡大していくかについて述べる。, This paper reports on the projects conducted by the Center for Distance Learning of Japanese and Japanese Issues from the 2nd half of the fiscal year 2019 to the 1st half of the fiscal year 2020: 1) the closure of “e-Learning for Japanese at University of Tsukuba,” which was developed at the same time as the Center was established; 2) the modification of TTBJ to HTML5 and the addition of multiple languages to the website; 3) the development of the Japanese language learning application for daily life,“ NIHONGO Avenue,” and 4) the start of a newsletter to distribute information about the Center. Finally, we will mention how the Center will continue to expand during its third phase.

筑波大学グローバルコミュニケーション教育センター日本語・日本事情遠隔教育拠点は、2015 年度から開始した第二期が2019 年に終わり、2020 年度から第三期として継続認定されることが決定した。本稿では第二期の活動を「コンテンツ開発」と「広報の強化」の観点からまとめるとともに、第三期で計画している「コンテンツ開発」「人材養成」「産学官民の連携」について報告する。, The Center for Distance Learning of Japanese and Japanese Issues at the University of Tsukuba has received approval for the third term from 2020 (1st term: 2010-2014, 2nd term: 2015-2019, 3rd term: 2020-2024). In this paper, we report on the activities of the second term. These are summarized from the viewpoint of “content development” and “strengthening public relations”. We also describe the main activities planned for the third term, namely “content development”, “human resource development” and “industry-academia-government cooperation”.

本稿では、2017年度後半から2018年度前半に日本語・日本事情遠隔教育拠点で行った事業について報告する。まずコンテンツ開発については、2017年度前半から続くコンテンツ開発に加え、日本で生活する外国人を対象にした多文化共生サポートアプリの制作計画について述べた。次に日本語拠点の事業に留まらず、日本語教育で行われている様々な実践を多くの方々に共有する目的で行った5つの講演会について、その概要をまとめた。最後に、日本語拠点の事業を海外のイベントなどでも発信することで国際的なネットワークの構築に向けて動きだしている点についても触れた。, This report presents the activities and projects carried out at the Center of Distance Learning of Japanese and Japanese Issues stretching from the 2nd half of the fiscal year 2017 to the 1st half of the fiscal year 2018. First, we address our achievements in content development. Besides the ongoing content development project running since the 1st half of the fiscal year 2017, we also report on a newly developed software application. Next, we cover five lectures that were organized to share the varied practices in Japanese Language Education with a wide audience. Finally, we outline how by promoting our projects at international level events abroad, we strive to launch an international network.
