To address the challenges in teaching object-oriented analysis and design, such as abstract course content, limited practical skills among students, difficulty stimulating interest, and difficulty in achieving high-quality and inclusive education, based on an in-depth analysis of the course’s knowledge system and teaching objectives, we proposed an innovative teaching strategy from the perspective of sustainable development. This strategy takes the analysis and design of software projects selected by students as the main focus and teacher case guidance as the entry point, connecting theoretical knowledge and teaching practice, and is called “case guidance multi-project synchronous implementation”. Simultaneously, we reshaped the teaching process and reformed the course assessment to adapt to this new teaching strategy. The results of its implementation show that this strategy not only helped students to better understand and apply object-oriented analysis and design but also enhanced their interest and sense of access to the course, successfully improving the achievement of the course objectives and significantly promoting students’ innovation and practical skills, providing an effective way to achieve high-quality and inclusive education and the promotion of lifelong learning. The successful implementation of this teaching strategy provides a strong reference for teaching reform in similar courses.

This article details eighteenth-century English dressmaking through an in-depth, object-oriented exploration of garment construction practices and techniques from a maker's perspective. Building upon prior scholarship of women's work and aspects of pre-industrial English garment trades, this article employs primary and secondary source materials in conjunction with extensive object-based research of extant garments. The research findings outline exactly how pre-industrial English dressmakers’ skills were nuanced, sophisticated and adaptive to making and remaking, as well as the personal, haptic connections they cultivated with their work.

This paper demonstrates the learning of software engineering through modeling using Object-Oriented Analysis and Design approach with Unified Modeling Language. An online interview management system case project to the whole class was used to develop the software requirement specification. Through modelling, the processes to be considered in software development were also elaborated, where it starts with the identification of major or basic processes of the domain of application, followed by the identification of activities to be performed under each basic process and, finally, transforming the activities highlighted in the functional requirements presentation. Modeling was practised by students through group case projects, and students were active, engaging and focusing on the learning process in such a way that more than 85.9% of students had the courage to attempt design questions during university examinations.

One of the activities at Ma'soem University is the Registration of Final Projects for Diploma Three (D3) students and Thesis for Undergraduate students (S1). Currently, the registration process for the Final Project and Thesis is still done manually, where students must come directly to the campus to register, pay and fill out the title submission form. Meanwhile, for the preparation of seminar schedules, honoraria and final and thesis report, data processing is still using Ms. Excel. From these activities, several obstacles were found regarding information on Final Projects and Thesis, including: 1. Limited payment and registration services for Final Projects and Thesis, which can only be served on campus during working hours and days from Monday to Saturday 07.30 to 21.30 WIB. 2. Filling in the Final Project and Thesis forms manually, there is a risk of damage and loss of data. 3. Do not have a database yet, so that it is difficult to validate data on the same Final Project Title and Thesis submitted by students. 4. The process of making seminar and final project honorarium reports and thesis sessions takes a long time, and cannot be generated automatically. In this study, the system development method used is the OOAD (Object Oriented Analysis and Design) method with the RUP (Rational Unified Process) model, which consists of several stages, namely: Business Modeling, Requirments, Analysis and Design, Implementation, Test, Deployment. As for the system development tools using UML (Unified Modeling Language) which consists of: Use Case Diagrams, Activity Diagrams and Class Diagrams. With the design of the information system architecture of this Final Project and Thesis, it produces a blueprint that can: Provide payment and registration services for Final Projects and Theses that are not limited by space and time, minimize the occurrence of damage and data loss, make it easier to validate submissions for the title of Final Project the same and can facilitate the process of making seminar and final project honorarium reports and thesis reports so that they can be generated automatically.

This raises several problems, namely: difficulties in knowing occupant / resident data information that can only be known by the head of the RT, so that many residents of the complex do not know their neighbors, recording and information services of the community in a complex environment is still limited by space and time, so that if there is a need from the community can only be done at certain hours, conventional records in the population book are at risk of damage and loss of data. So Griya Bandung Trade Center must be able to provide satisfaction and make consumers become loyal to increase profits so that the company always maintains good relations with customers, But the system that runs is still not good. Griya Bandung Trade Center cannot manage feedback data yet obtained because there is no media or place for consumers to express disappointment, complaints about the services provided, or other feedback. Using the android mobile application because the use of cellphones is increasing every time. Delivering feedback through mobile media is considered effective because it is mobile and easy to use. The system development method used is OOAD (Object Oriented Analisis Design) which is a software engineering approach of a system consisting of a group of interacting real-world objects.

The research results consist of a web that can promote company products or individuals that are more effective and efficient. The conclusion of this research is the production of web-based e-marketing that can support companies or individuals in supporting their products.

This Repository Information System is an idea that appears to help agencies manage thesis archiving that was previously still done conventionally by collecting the results of thesis binding (hardcopy) and CD containing thesis files along with the source code of the program that was made (softcopy) into a digital system new and modern. Repository Information System is a system that is expected to help the School of Information and Computer Management (STMIK) Shaykh Zainuddin NW Anjani to organize the archiving of thesis data that has been done by students to be neater, safer and easier to manage. The repository information system was developed using the waterfall software development process model and object oriented analysis modeling, then implemented using the Codeigniter programming language, one of the PHP frameworks. The result of this study is a website-based thesis repository system that can archive student thesis data and can also be used to search and display existing thesis data through the admin or user interface in this case students.

People who want to order foreign currencies at this time still have to go through traditional procedures, where the buyer is required to come directly to the place of foreign exchange. This study intends to build a system design that can make currency orders and provide information on foreign exchange rates contained in each money changer through a web-based application. This research uses the Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) method, literature study, and data collection methods using a questionnaire. Based on the problems outlined and the results of the study, this system can be a source of information on foreign exchange rates and also an alternative order for foreign exchange. Foreign exchange orders can be made online through this information system. This system will continue to be developed with various features such as payment methods using biometric security methods with the support of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology. So users can search for foreign currency values and order them easily through online media.

Institutional repositories are essential research infrastructure for research-based universities. A properly dimensioned institutional repository has the potential to increase research impact and enhance the visibility of an institution through its scholarly outputs. The aim of the study is to design and develop a web-based digital repository for scholarly materials and publications in a tertiary institution. The motivation for carrying out this project is to provide a lasting solution to the need for an effective, efficient, reliable and easily accessible system for storing and retrieving scholarly materials, which will make study and research work less cumbersome and stressful for academic staff and students, thereby enabling them to easily carry out their day-to-day activities, especially as it concerns obtaining relevant scholarly information quickly. The system will be developed using open source software and OOADM (Object Oriented Analysis and Design Methodology). Findings obtained from system validation tests show that the system is a viable solution to the major challenges encountered in the management and sharing of scholarly information at the institution.

The aim of this paper is to analyze the sharing and management of files in a tertiary institution using blockchain architecture. It is expected to enable an online system that could provide a decentralized architecture for multiple transfers and sharing of files amongst participants, to design a system that can provide data integrity and security of files using IBM Blockchain technology, to provide a system that can allow multiple user and multiple transactions at once. The research was motivated because of the security challenges associated with existing system which include: delay in transfer and sharing of files, much authority and task given to a single user in a centralized system, high risk of attack and loss of files, reduced speed of file transfer and file access/retrieval, limited number of users per time. Methodology adopted was Object Oriented Analysis Design Methodology (OOADM) in conjunction with Unified Modeling Language (UML) and IBM Blockchain Technology while the programming language used was HTML, CSS, Java and Node Js. The result after design was a decentralized cloud based file sharing and management system that enables multi-shared, replicated and permissioned transactions amongst participants in a network.

Managing municipal waste efficiently is a challenge in itself. Waste levies as a source of regional revenue need to be managed optimally so that the waste transportation services for the community can run smoothly. Constraints faced by the City Government of Pangkalpinang are how to anticipate the limited number of garbage lift fleets, the increasing population density, and the manual administration system. To improve the quality of waste transportation services, one of them is by upgrading from manual to a web-based system with the aim of making it easier to manage fleet transport schedules, making it easier for people to pay waste fees, and making it easier to report waste levies. The system will be built using the Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) methodology because with OOAD the system can be developed gradually and continuously. Identity management concerns transcends technical design issues as users disposition, awareness and attitude play a vital role in the effectiveness of such systems. A framework that supported some important digital identity management system security related features was presented in a previous study. In this current study, an attempt to empirically demonstrate the functioning of these features and to access how user’s awareness, disposition and attitude impact on the proper functioning of such systems was undertaken. To achieve these, a system was modeled and implemented using object oriented analysis and design method. The developed system empirically generates forensic evidence and an implicit mutual authentication scheme. The resulting system developed was tested for these features. The results obtained showed that the framework did provide for reliable forensic evidence generation and it also provided for the implementation of an implicit form of mutual authentication scheme. However, the outcome of a brief test conducted to gauge the reliability of this implicit mutual authentication scheme showed that the support provided was not very reliable based on these users’ factors (awareness, attitude and deposition)

The rapidly developing internet infrastructure together with the advances in software technology has enabled the development of cloud-based modern web applications that are much more responsive, flexible, and reliable compared to traditional monolithic applications. Such modern applications require new software design paradigms and architectures. Microservice-based architecture (MSbA), which aims to create small, isolated, loosely-coupled applications that work in cohesion, becoming widespread as one of these approaches. MSbA allows the developed applications to be deployed and maintained separately, as well as scaled on demand. However, there is no de facto method for the analysis and design of systems for these architectures. In this paper, we compared the usefulness of the object-oriented (OO) and event-oriented (EO) approaches for analyzing and designing MS-based systems. More specifically, we performed an exploratory case study to analyze, design, and implement a software application dealing with the ‘application and evaluation process of graduate students at IzTech’. This paper discusses the results of this case study. We observe that the EO approaches have significant advantages with respect to the OO approaches.

The rate of technology adoption and online food ordering transactions in Indonesia is increasing over time. However, restaurant service practices, especially those in shopping centers, tend to rely on physical point-of-sale systems. This causes certain restaurants to lose leverage over balk and renege, as well as lowering the restaurant's reputation in the eyes of its customers. The writer has a note based on this phenomenon to solve the problem by using existing technology to create a POS product that combines digital POS with food ordering application named BIT. Methods that used in this research uses Porter’s Five Forces Model, Lean Canvas, and smart PLS. For analysis and design, writer use Object Oriented Analysis and Design with Unified Modelling Language. The result of this research is BIT will be digital mediator between restaurant and their customer, so that the queueing and food ordering process can be done digitally and massively, also eliminating problems that exists in the use of traditional POS.

The methodology used in writing this thesis is the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with the Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) approach illustrated through the Unified Modeling Language (UML) notation. The business analysis used in writing this thesis is the Business Model Canvas (BMC), Marketing Mix, Porter's Five Forces Model and SWOT analysis that is equipped with Financial Statement Projection. This application system that helps users to pre-order food/drinks online through a mobile application by collecting together places to eat/drink around offices and universities (canteen, food court, and restaurants), and helping partners in writing orders and making financial statements and buyer behavior.

In this study, an automatic recognition system has been designed for detection of leaves from their images. The model has been developed based on the Object Oriented software engineering model. For the bottom level machine learning, convolution neural network based deep learning has been used. The present study uses two benchmark datasets one consisting of 1906 instances of 32 species and the other consisting of 1125 instances of 15 different leaf images. The results of the proposed model have been tested in standard indexes and the same are compared with that of other existing models.

The performance of teachers in educational institutions needs to have an appreciation and assessment that has a basis. Teacher performance assessment is one of the bases for decision making related to the career of the teacher. To improve the quality and accuracy of performance appraisal, this study designs a web-based teacher performance assessment decision support system. The Decision Support System method used is Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), and information system design uses the Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) method. Respondents in this study were deputy principals, teacher representatives, and committee representatives. The results of the calculation of the respondent questionnaire were carried out with a paired comparison matrix. The results of the combined calculation showed that the first level criteria which were the highest weighted were Social with a weight of 33.4% and the alternative teacher with the best performance was Vera Asmara with a value of 22.9%.

Pandanlandung Village is one of twelve villages in the District of Wagir, Malang Regency which are given the authority to administer governance and development independently in accordance with UU No. 6 of 2014. Carrying out its authority, the village government needs to carry out the construction phase, one of which is planning that starts with village meetings and produces a draft RKPDesa. The preparation of RKPDesa is still done manually so that the process of documentation is long and there is no transparency in delivering the results of the deliberations to the community. One of the efforts to help compile the RKPDesa with an appropriate and efficient delivery process to the community requires an information system on the preparation of village government work plans. This study discusses the design of an information system for the preparation of the RKPDesa aimed at assisting the process of preparing village government work plans. The research methodology used is the method of analysis and design. The method of analysis consists of library studies, field surveys, and interviews, while the design method uses object oriented analysis and design. The results are expected to provide facilities to the village government in the form of applications to improve the performance of the village government so as to meet development goals and transparency to the community. Sekolah Alam Bangka Belitung, which currently organizes educational activities at the elementary school level with Islamic concepts and is more learning outside the classroom, requires teachers or what is termed facilitator. The facilitator needed by the Sekolah Alam is a facilitator who meets multi criteria such as attitudes, academic, skills, abilities, interviews, and three-month internships. To get a facilitator that fits the criteria desired by the Sekolah Alam, this study designs a decision support system to select candidate facilitators using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The AHP method is chosen to form a hierarchy of facilitator selection frameworks starting with objectives, level one criteria, level two criteria, and alternatives. After the decision-making scheme, then this research moves the decision-making pattern into a web-based information system built with the method of Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD). Data processing results show that the highest level 1 criterion is the attitude with 34.1%, the second is a 3-month internship with a weight of 33.3%, the third is an academic with a weight of 13.4%, the fourth is a skill with a weight of 11.3 %, the last is an interview with a weight of 8%. The use of mobile applications for healthcare has become a focal point of innovation that could aid patients in their everyday healthcare management. Mobile applications can contribute to increasing the effectiveness and reducing the costs of healthcare delivery as well as preventing illnesses through behaviour change. This paper presents model of an interactive mobile healthcare application that facilitates the needs between doctors and patients. The proposed mobile application will provide optimal communication to several parties in the healthcare sector such as patients, doctors and pharmacists for better healthcare services and delivery. The software development methodology adopted was Object Oriented Analysis and Design Methodology (OOADM). Our mobile application is developed for Android platform and HTML, CSS and JS were used at the front-end while Angula JS, PHP and MYSQL powered the back-end.

With recent advances in remote sensing processing technology, it has become more feasible to begin analysis of the enormous historic archive of remotely sensed data. This historical data provides valuable information on a wide variety of topics which can influence the lives of millions of people if processed correctly and in a timely manner. One such field of benefit is that of landslide mapping and inventory. This data provides a historical reference to those who live near high risk areas so future disasters may be avoided. In order to properly map landslides remotely, an optimum method must first be determined. Historically, mapping has been attempted using pixel based methods such as unsupervised and supervised classification. These methods are limited by their ability to only characterize an image spectrally based on single pixel values. This creates a result prone to false positives and often without meaningful objects created. Recently, several reliable methods of Object Oriented Analysis (OOA) have been developed which utilize a full range of spectral, spatial, textural, and contextual parameters to delineate regions of interest. A comparison of these two methods on a historical dataset of the landslide affected city of San Juan La Laguna, Guatemala has proven the benefits of OOA methods over those of unsupervised classification. Overall accuracies of 96.5% and 94.3% and F-score of 84.3% and 77.9% were achieved for OOA and unsupervised classification methods respectively. The greater difference in F-score

Smart Chicken Eggs Incubator is one of the applications of the Internet of Things in the field of animal husbandry specifically on the hatching of chicken eggs. Breeders carry out the process of hatching chicken eggs using artificial incubators and in the process of hatching chicken eggs, these problems arise in the process of monitoring the environment inside the incubator such as temperature, humidity, and egg changes which are still done manually. This research explains the development of a prototype Smart Chicken Eggs Incubator System by implementing the Internet of Things which has three subsystems namely embedded systems, web-based applications, and Telegram bot. Web application software on the Smart Chicken Eggs Incubator System was developed using the Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) method. The web apps built can be used to monitor the conditions of the incubator based on sensor data that has been sent during the egg hatching process. While in the Telegram bot, real-time conditions of temperature, humidity, egg transfer, and photos of the situation inside the incubator can be monitored, as well as message notifications if there are conditions on the incubator that change beyond the specified limits. Prototype testing was carried out for 21 days, with the amount of data entered as many as 3,402 records with time intervals every 5 minutes and get the optimal time for each entry is 9 minutes to 10 minutes.
