Abstract

Subject of this paper is Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) as a part of Object-Oriented Software Engineering. One of the central tasks of OOAD is to build the System Object Model (SOM), which to serve as a basis of software implementation. This process is closely related to the initial requirement analysis and specification phase where the use cases are used as basic modeling elements. This paper deals with representation of use cases as well-defined modules and their use in the process of building SOM in order to ensure separation of concerns and support of agile software development.
