Purpose: The aim of the research is to identify the negative aspects of creative accounting methods and procedures, which have an impact on the quality of the auditor's report, and to identify the role of the auditor in limiting these effects. Theoretical framework: The research was built on the hypothesis that negative aspects of creative accounting methods and procedures affect the quality of the auditor's report Design/methodology/approach: the researcher used the descriptive method in the theoretical aspect and analysis in the practical aspect. The research was conducted for a sample of data belonging to two banks, one of which is a government sector and the other is a joint stock company, to show the impact of the negative aspects of the creative accounting methods and procedures in the financial statements to shade the business result and the financial position and thus affect the quality of the auditor's report. If he did not exercise the necessary professional care when conducting the audit. Findings: the article task of which came out the negative side of the methods and procedures of creative accounting aimed at misleading the result of realization or financial position, or both affect much in the quality of the auditor’s report if those methods and procedures with professionalism and high accuracy and cannot determine the purpose of those methods of accounting to achieve management objectives Third party account. Research, Practical & Social implications: the need to work by the bodies and organizations sponsoring the accounting and oversight profession to update the accounting and control standards and rules in order to keep pace with the development at the present time and to fill the gaps in the face of the negative aspects of creative accounting methods and procedures. Originality/value: consider the necessity of spreading adequate awareness among users of financial reports about the seriousness of the negative aspects of creative accounting methods and procedures and confronting them through legislation and regulations regulating the accounting and oversight profession.

Purpose: This research was carried out to determine the views of school administrators and teachers about the quality of life during the Covid-19 pandemic period. Method: The research was designed as a case study by adopting a qualitative research approach. Maximum variation sampling technique, one of the purposeful sampling methods, was used to select the participants. In this context, interviews were conducted with 22 participants; 10 school administrators, 12 teachers. Research data were obtained through semi-structured interview and were analyzed by descriptive analysis method. Findings: As a result of the research, it was revealed that school administrators and teachers evaluated this period in which they were affected psychologically, socially, family and professionally from the Covid-19 pandemic period. In addition, it was determined that participants have both positive and negative opinion about this period. It has been suggested that online support services can be provided to school administrators and teachers so that they can use strategies to cope with the negative effects of this process.Originality: It is considered to be an original study since it was prepared to determine the quality of life of school administrators and teachers in the COVID-19 pandemic., Amaç: Bu araştırma koronavirüs (Covid-19) salgınında okul yöneticileri ve öğretmenlerinin yaşam kalitelerine ilişkin görüşlerini belirlemek amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Yöntem: Araştırma nitel araştırma yaklaşımı benimsenerek durum çalışması deseninde tasarlanmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu belirlenirken amaçlı örnekleme yöntemlerinden maksimum çeşitlilik örnekleme yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Bu kapsamda 10 okul yöneticisi 12 öğretmen olmak üzere toplam 22 katılımcı ile görüşmeler gerçekleştirilmiştir. Veri toplama aracı olarak yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Araştırma verileri betimsel analiz yöntemi kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Bulgular: Araştırma sonucunda okul yönetici ve öğretmenlerinin Covid-19 salgını döneminden psikolojik, sosyal, ailevi ve mesleki açıdan etkilendikleri ortaya çıkmıştır. Ayrıca bu dönemde hem pozitif hem de negatif düşüncelerinin olabildiği belirlenmiştir. Okul yöneticileri ve öğretmenlere bu sürecin olumsuz etkileriyle baş etme stratejilerini kullanabilmeleri için online destek hizmetlerinin sunulabileceği önerilmiştir.Özgünlük: COVID-19 salgınında okul yöneticileri ve öğretmenlerin yaşam kalitelerinin belirlenmesine yönelik hazırlandığından özgün bir çalışma olduğu değerlendirilmektedir.

Son dönemlerde hızlanan teknolojik gelişmeler tüketicilerin satın aldıkları bir ürüne ilişkin deneyim ve düşüncelerini online ortamlarda paylaşmalarını kolaylaştırmıştır. Turizm ürünlerinin sahip olduğu önceden değerlendirilmesi güç soyut özellikler ise ziyaretçilerin seyahat planlarını oluşturma sürecinde tüketici yorumlarına daha fazla önem vermesine neden olmuştur. Bu bağlamda, çalışmanın amacı, ziyaretçilerin Göbeklitepe hakkında TripAdvisor sitesine bıraktığı yorumların değerlendirilmesidir. Çalışmada veriler, içerik analizi yöntemiyle çözümlenmiştir. 19 Şubat 2021 tarihine kadar bırakılan 518 yorumun tamamı analiz edilmiştir. Yorumlar, 2013-2020 dönemine aittir. Sonuç olarak olumlu düşüncelerin olumsuz düşüncelerden bir hayli yüksek olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Sinevizyon gösterisi, etkileyicilik, muhteşemlik ve olağanüstü tarihsel ortam, vb. kavramlar olumlu izlenimler arasında belirtilmektedir. Olumsuz düşüncelerin başında uygulanan ücret politikası gelmektedir. Ziyaretçiler hem giriş ücretinin hem de satışa sunulan kimi ürünlerin fiyatlarının yüksek olduğunu ifade etmektedirler. Yetersiz otopark, münferit gezginlere rehberlerin eşlik etmemesi, süregiden kazılar, giriş ve gezi alanı arasındaki mesafede insani ihtiyaçların giderilememesi vb. şikayetler dillendirilmekte olup, olumsuz deneyimlere sebep olmaktadır.

Background: Bullying victimization at school is an important concern in terms of social and mental health, particularly, for hearing impairment adolescent students who may be more vulnerable than hearing peers. Aim of the study was to evaluate effect of nursing intervention for hearing impairment adolescent students regarding bullying. Design: A quasi-experimental design was used. Setting: The current study was conducted at Al-Amal School for Mute and Deafness students at Benha City. Subjects: Purposive sample was used in this study, it includes 107 students, all of them were chosen from the mentioned setting. Tools of data collection: Five tools were used. I- A structured interviewing questionnaire; consisted of 2 parts to assess: 1) Demographic characteristics of hearing impairment adolescent students. 2) Questionnaire to assess student’s previous exposure to bullying II- knowledge of hearing impairment adolescent students regarding bullying. III- opinions about deaf community. IV- Self-esteem scale. V- Adolescent Bullying scale. Results: This study showed;20.5% of studied students have poor knowledge pre intervention decreases to 1.8% post intervention, while 12.3% of studied students have good knowledge pre intervention increases to 84.1% post intervention. 78.5% of studied students with low self-esteem pre intervention decreases to 19.6% post intervention. While14% of studied students with high self-esteem pre intervention increases to 85.9% post intervention.56.8% of studied students with negative opinion about deaf community pre intervention decreases to 22.4% post intervention. While 44.2% of studied students with positive opinion about deaf community pre intervention increases to 77.96% post intervention. Conclusion: This study concluded that: The nursing intervention had a significant effect on the improvement of the hearing impairment adolescent students' knowledge, opinion and self-esteem. Recommendations: Further studies should be provided to assess factors that increase bullying behavior. Community support should be provided to hearing impairment adolescent students.

Il presente studio ha l'obiettivo di indagare la percezione dei consumatori riguardo le attività di corporate social responsibility (CSR) di una azienda impegnata nel sociale che, tuttavia, non gode di un giudizio favorevole presso i propri consumatori, allo scopo di verificare se ad un giudizio negativo dell'impresa corrisponde una percezione negativa anche delle pratiche di CSR. A tale scopo, si persegue un duplice obiettivo: 1) individuare l'esistenza del fit tra il core business dell'azienda in questione e le attività di CSR intraprese dall'impresa, per comprovare l'eticità dell'impresa in questione; 2) identificare l'eventuale fit tra la comunicazione delle attività di CSR dell'azienda e la percezione delle attività etiche dell'impresa da parte dei consumatori.La ricerca è basata sulla metodologia del case study, che esamina il caso aziendale Ferrovie dello Stato (FS), tramite l'analisi di dati secondari e dati primari. I risultati confermano l'esistenza del fit tra il core business e le attività di CSR di FS ma, allo stesso tempo, mostrano una discrepanza tra la comunicazione delle attività di CSR dell'azienda e la percezione delle stesse da parte dei consumatori.

Sentiment Analysis or Opinion Mining is one of the latest trends of social listening, which is presently reshaping Commercial Organisations. It is a significant task of Natural Language Processing (NLP). The vast availability of product review data within Social media like Twitter, Facebook, and e-commerce site like Amazon, Alibaba. An organisation can get insight into a customer's mind based on a product or what type of opinion the product has generated in the market. Accordingly, an organisation can take some reactive preventive measures. While analysing the above, we have found that negative opinion has a strong effect on customers' minds than the positive one. Also, negative opinions are more viral in terms of diffusion. Our present work is based on a comparison of two available rule-based Sentiment analysers, VADER, and TextBlob on domain-specific product review data from Amazon.co.in. It investigates, which has higher accuracy in terms of classifying negative opinions. Our research has found out that VADER’s negative polarity sentiment classification accuracy is more elevated than TextBlob.

The article is focused on the comparison of communicative phenomena of politeness and mitigation in fictional communication. It has been established that mitigation functions in communication as a kind of negative politeness; it has been defined as “distance politeness”, which helps to maintain the distance between the speaker and the listener. Negative politeness strategies are aimed at minimizing the threat to the negative face of the interlocutor and are used if the speaker has a certain power upon the listener and / or a social distance is observed between them. Negative politeness seems to be a much broader concept. Another difference between mitigation and negative politeness is that the speaker, trying not to offend the interlocutor, at the same time, sees to keeping his/her own "face". Thus, it has been established that the terms negative politeness and mitigation are related to each other as a hypernym and a hyperonym, mitigation is defined as a type of negative politeness. Besides, the article offers our own classification of mitigation strategies, which includes mitigation of disagreement of the interlocutor’s opinion, mitigation of the addressee’s negative opinion or actions, mitigation of refusal, mitigation of breaking bad news, mitigation of request, mitigation of advice, mitigation of promise, and mitigation of topic avoidance. The article also offers a number of communication tactics that realize the mitigation strategies: apology tactics, gratitude tactics, approval tactics, praise tactics, partial agreement tactics and the tactics of categoricalness reduction. The implementation of the outlined strategies and tactics has been followed up in the personage speech in English fictional discourse. The prospect of the study is to involve other discourses into study of the phenomenon of mitigation in different social and ethno-cultural communities.

raştırmanın amacı, engelli bireylerin turizm faaliyetlerine katılımına yönelik konaklama işletmelerinden beklentileri ve mevcut durum tespitine yönelik İstanbul ili üzerinden incelenmesidir. Bu amaca yönelik, 33 adet sorudan oluşan bir anket formu oluşturulmuştur. Üç bölümden oluşan bu anket formu, birinci bölümde demografik değişkenler, ikinci bölümde, konaklama işletmelerinden beklentileri, üçüncü bölümde ise engelli bireyler için konaklama işletmelerinin uygunluğunun mevcut durum tespitine yönelik ifadelerden ibarettir. Anket formu, İstanbul İli içerisinde ulaşılabilen 350 engelli bireye uygulanmıştır. Toplamda 350 anket ile istatistiki analizler yapılmıştır. Ölçek olarak Likert tipi 5’li ölçeklendirme kullanılmıştır. Anketler SPSS programı aracılığıyla çözümlenmiş, frekans analizi yardımıyla sonuçlar yorumlanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, konaklama işletmeleri hakkında engelli bireylerin olumsuz düşüncesinin hâkim olduğu, işletmenin yapısı, hizmetleri, teçhizatı konusunda memnuniyet derecelerinin düşük seviyede görüldüğü tespit edilmiştir. Buna ilave olarak, engelli bireylerin turizme katılma niyetleri olsa da turizm hareketlerine katılım düzeylerinin düşük düzeyde olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. The aim of the research is to examine the expectations of individuals with disabilities from the hospitality establishments for their participation of tourism activities and for determining the current situation in İstanbul. A questionnaire form consisting of 33 questions has been created for this purpose. This questionnaire, consisting of three parts, consists of demographic variables in the first part, expectations from accommodation companies in the second part, and statements regarding the current situation determination of the suitability of accommodation enterprises for individuals with disabilities in the third part. The questionnaire form was applied to 350 disabled people who can be reached in Istanbul Province. Statistical analysis was made with 350 questionnaires in total. Likert type 5 scaling was used as the scale. The questionnaires were analyzed through the SPSS program, and the results were interpreted with the help of frequency analysis. As a result of the research, it has been determined that the negative opinion of the disabled individuals about the accommodation establishments is dominant, and the level of satisfaction about the structure, services and equipment of the enterprise is seen to be low. In addition, it was concluded that although the disabled individuals have intentions to participate in tourism, their level of participation in tourism movements is low.

The objective of this research was to identify the present knowledge, the implemented strategies, the attitude problems and the training found at the Centro Escolar Republica de Haiti in relation to the learning problems inside the classroom in order to promote the social and cognitive inclusion of children with learning problems/ disabilities. With this in mind, a transversal descriptive design was applied. The study was conducted in two stages. The first one, called Quantitative Phase, was conducted via descriptive observation through an arbitrary observation criterion; the second one, the Qualitative Phase, used semistructured interviews.The faculty from the primary school facilitated data about those students with learning difficulties. Among the main results, there can be mentioned the fact that some faculty members had a negative opinion about students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities attending the regular school since they cannot be adequately assisted, an aspect which relates to the need in training on how to effectively manage children with learning disabilities inside the classroom, in addition to the apathy that they have to do it. In relation to the characterization of children, it can be appreciated that there are learning problems in the areas of verbal and written communication, reading, mathematics, cognitive aspects, personal appearance and care, and organization as well as psychomotor skills. Over the last many years, sentiment analysis has evolved. A substantial part of the work rotates around the examination of textual feelings utilizing the tools of text mining. In any case, audio sentiment analysis is still coming to the present stage to investigate network gatherings. The following article proposes to use Natural Language Processing (NLP) to identify the effect of presidential speeches across the world from 1970 to 2019 on the public's mood, with positive and negative statements presented. This paper includes an analysis of different speeches for sentiment analysis in real time given by Global Presidents (positive and negative opinion) by implementing different classification techniques to predict the accuracy. Naive Bayes performed well without overfitting and underfitting with an accuracy of 86%.

Objective: The analysis of the distant education experience of the students studying clinical subjects in medical university.Methods: 410 students of the ISMU pediatric department. Author’s questionnaire was used. It consisted of 3 parts: socio-economic, organizational and methodical.Results: Every second respondent noticed connection problems and every fourth – an increase in communication and equipment costs. 68.2% of students increased their level of knowledge through online learning, 40% had a negative opinion about distant learning (but every third respondent didn’t give definitive positive or negative conclusion). 57.5% of the participants noticed the relevance of the given marks. At the same time the distant method increased the time spent on studying two times or more.Conclusions: The technologies used for distant education LMS Moodle got a positive feedback from students. Distant learning in case of involuntary isolation allows to keep an appropriate level of training and can extend ordinary studying and provide an opportunity of self-preparing for classes. In future it is offered to use distant learning for self-study and estimation of the quality of theoretical knowledge.

Roads congestion pricing has been considered as an effective solution following the successful implementation of such programs by many cities such as Singapore, Stockholm, and London. In multiple cases, congestion pricing projects have not been implemented, and multitudinous industrialized countries’ governments are struggling to find an effective and satisfactory way of introducing congestion pricing schemes that will not be affected by the public’s negative opinion and resistance. The lack of political and public acceptability can, therefore, be blamed for the nonimplementation of many congestion pricing projects in many cities around the world. This paper reviews eight cases where congestion pricing schemes were implemented or rejected, as well as the major influencing factors that enable congestion pricing introduction and acceptability by road users, discusses public and political acceptance of urban road pricing, and provides a valuable guideline for policy and decision-makers.

In computational linguistics, binary sentiment analysis methods have been proposed to predict whether a document expresses a positive or a negative opinion. In this paper, we study a unique research problem—identifying environmental stimuli that contribute to different moods (mood triggers). Our analysis is enabled by an anonymous micro-journalling dataset, containing over 700,000 short journals from over 67,000 writers and their self-reported moods at the time of writing. We first build a multinomial logistic regression model to predict the mood (e.g., happy, sad, tired, productive) associated with a micro-journal. We then examine the model to identify predictive words and word trigrams associated with various moods. Our study offers new data-driven insights into public well-being.

The study material was collected from Facebook, Twitter and wm.pl and subjected to qualitative analysis.

The Viral Marketing is a relatively new form of marketing that exploits social networks to promote a brand, a product, etc. The idea behind it is to find a set of influencers on the network that can trigger a large cascade of propagation and adoptions. In this paper, we will introduce an evidential opinion-based influence maximization model for viral marketing. Besides, our approach tackles three opinions based scenarios for viral marketing in the real world. The first scenario concerns influencers who have a positive opinion about the product. The second scenario deals with influencers who have a positive opinion about the product and produce effects on users who also have a positive opinion. The third scenario involves influence users who have a positive opinion about the product and produce effects on the negative opinion of other users concerning the product in question. Next, we proposed six influence measures, two for each scenario. We also use an influence maximization model that the set of detected influencers for each scenario. Finally, we show the performance of the proposed model with each influence measure through some experiments conducted on a generated dataset and a real world dataset collected from Twitter., Comment: Knowledge and Information Systems (KAIS), Springer, 2019

Nawab Siddique Hassan Khan is renowned author of Sub-Continent and placed a well-known award for his writings. This article describes the methodology and characteristics of Al Shmamat ul Anbriyah min maulid e khair ul briyah. This book is basically a seerat study and contains on many new but unfamiliar sources of Seerah. So, he had a great addition on seerat by writing this book. It was in ancient Urdu, hardly to understand its text. The author made this possible in his research work and he also examined its methodology. In this article a managed and detailed description of this book is presented. However, we found some unique errors of references and textual study of seerah. Mostly he used a random method during the writing of this book. Author found many features of this book, whom doesn’t exist in other seerat books like this. still there are many points, which decrease its importance and creates negative opinion regarding his seerat writing, as some times he included third party research and paid its credit to himself and many places he added irrelevant narrations to his subject.

Pew Research Center surveys have shown, many of political tensions between China and the U.S. are reflected in American public opinion. Meanwhile, the Chinese public has its own complaints about the U.S.—in particular, most believe the U.S. is trying to contain a rising China. This article presents six key findings about American public opinion toward China, and Chinese public opinion about the U.S. While some surveys show a genereally negative opinion in both countries, it was found that young people possess a more piositive view of both China and the U.S.

Foreign direct investment (FDI) from China has recently met with increasing public opposition in many host nations. Why does the public respond less favourably to Chinese FDI than to FDI from other countries? We explore this question by conducting a series of survey experiments in Canada, where the majority of the public holds a negative opinion of Chinese investment. We find that the bias can be attributed to innumeracy about the relative size of China's FDI and misinformation about investment rules that govern FDI projects in Canada. Correcting both misperceptions substantially reduces the bias of respondents against FDI projects from China. These results suggest that corrective information can lead to positive change in public attitudes, a finding that has important policy implications for Canadian leaders hoping to expand the country's business ties with China.

The main reasons for low immunisation coverage include parents’ concerns about the safety of vaccines, their fears related to possible adverse events following vaccination, and the increasingly powerful activity of anti-vaccine movements. It is necessary to monitor the public’s attitudes to vaccination in order to implement appropriate solutions to prevent a resurgence of epidemics. The aim of the study was to assess Polish parents’ opinions about and awareness of immunisation-related issues.Methods: The study, based on an online survey, investigated Polish mothers’ attitudes towards the use of vaccines, their opinions regarding the sanctions for a failure to vaccinate a child, and the correlations between the result and the socio-demographic characteristics.Results: A total of 646 responses were collected, including 593 from mothers from general-interest groups and 53 from anti-vax groups. Differences were identified in vaccination coverage among children of respondents from general-interest groups and anti-vax groups. The findings show that the respondents from anti-vax groups stopped vaccinating more often due to vaccine adverse events and inadequate response from doctors.Conclusion: Most of the respondents are aware of anti-vaccine movements and have a negative attitude to them, but these movements still influence the public. Also, the findings show a correlation between the level of education and a general attitude to immunisation – people with higher education more often have a negative opinion on this matter.Keywords: immunisation, social media, vaccine adverse events, anti-vaccine movement

Phenomenological design, one of the qualitative research designs, was used in the study. The universe of the study consists of school administrators and teachers working in public schools in Bingol province in the second term of the 2019-2020 academic year. 187 volunteer participants are working at different educational levels in the study group. Research data were collected through a semi-structured form. Descriptive and content analysis of research data collected online were done together. After the analysis, eight themes related to negative aspects and six themes related to positive aspects of distance education were formed. According to the research results, the most repetitive negative opinion regarding distance education conducted during the pandemic period is the problems related to internet access and technology. During this period, many teachers and students had difficulties in connecting to EBA. Many students cannot receive distance education because they do not have the technological devices required for distance education. In the distance education process, inequality of opportunity in education has increased. Especially, the lessons that require practice are inefficient. Participation in distance education lessons is low for students who experience a loss of motivation. However, factors such as contributing to the prevention of the pandemic by reducing the risk of virus transmission, not interrupting education, the widespread use of educational technologies, providing flexibility in terms of time, place, etc. are seen as positive aspects of compulsory distance education.

Understanding the travel behavior of visitors in a certain region is important in terms of revealing the profile of those who come to that region. New tourism plans can be created according to the determined travel profiles, and it will be possible to host more visitors in the region with applications. Purpose of the study; To analyze the electronic comments of visitors to Sille, which is an important center of culture and belief, and to contribute to the managers by offering suggestions to develop regional tourism. In this context, answers to six questions were sought in the study. The data used in the study consists of 618 electronic comments covering the years 2014- 2020 on the website named TripAdvisor. The comments were analyzed in a data analysis program called MAXQDA. As a result of the analysis, it was seen that the visitors were mostly of the "wise" type, and the visits were mostly made in "August" and with "family". While Sille's "proximity to the center" was the prominent positive opinion, "the restorations were bad" was the leading negative opinion. The most striking location has been the "Aya Elenia Church" and Sille has been mostly compared to the "Cappadocia" region.

The article examines the issues of using social communications as an integral part of marketing technologies for managing and modifying consumer behaviour. The motivating determinants influencing the formation of consumer behaviour are analyzed; the current role of communications in the field of marketing technologies is considered.The communication process itself is considered both from a socio-psychological point of view and from the standpoint of the effectiveness of using marketing tools. The points of influence of social communications on consumer decision-making processes have been determined. The article also proposes a methodology for the complex formation and use of social communications as a composite tool for managing and influencing consumers.In practice, an example of the implementation of this technique has been analyzed, in case of the need to increase the loyalty of customers of an unprofitable company that has encountered difficulties in expanding its customer base and the need to transform the negative opinion of consumers about their own brand.

Sarcasm is consistently depicted as a circumstance where the customer will in general utilize positive words to pass on a negative opinion via online media. Leaps and bounds in business innovation have added to the tenacious flood and overall choice of web-based media. Which brings out plentiful information in the form of comments and tweets. Due to which it prompts a few inconsistencies in the current methodology of sentiment analysis. It's crucial to analyze the intended sarcasm in user words for effective automatic sentiment analysis of gathered information. We present a first report in distinguishing sarcasm by consolidating both Pattern-based methodology and Numerical sarcasm detection module where the tweets that are delegated non-sarcastic in Pattern-based methodology are fed into the Numerical sarcasm detection module to recognize sarcasm present in numerical bits of the content. At first, to get an understanding into the problem, we execute a rule-based methodology. Be that as it may, the genuine framework set up is the Deep learning (DL) model, which outperform other state-of-the-art methods on dataset of tweets containing numbers. It shows that extraordinary thoughtfulness regarding text containing numbers might be valuable to improve cutting edge in sarcasm detection.

Free-ranging dogs (FRDs), are a problem in several countries, with impacts on humans, domestic animals, and wildlife, although increasing evidence suggests that most FRDs are owned. Therefore, understanding dog ownership on a fine scale is critical. The main objectives of this study were to explore dog management in rural localities from central Chile focusing on modeling owner-related variables associated with dog confinement and characterize confined and FRDs populations. Interviews (170) were carried out in Paine municipality, reporting a human:dog ratio of 1.5:1, and dogs in most households (85.9%, 146/170). Thirty-seven percent (54/146) of those households did not confine their dog(s) to some degree, and 41% (196/472) of surveyed dogs were FRD. Based on multivariable logistic regression models, non-confinement was decreased by (i) negative opinion of owners toward roaming behavior of their dogs, (ii) negative opinion toward FRDs, among others. Dog confinement increased along with owners' concerns about the impacts of their dogs on others. Owned-FRDs tended to have poorer general care than confined dogs. Our findings represent a contribution to the understanding of the human dimensions behind FRDs and provide critical quantitative elements to consider when planning effective control strategies.

The paper presents an analysis of selected aspects of motivation and engagement of hard coal mine employees working in longwall faces. The analysis of survey results covers selected questions from a broader survey conducted in the analyzed mining companies. The miners had a negative opinion on the incentive programme in their workplaces, stating that it is ineffective. The survey also included factors affecting the engagement of the entire research sample in their work, showing their significance level for the respondents.

Although, they completely differ in the treatment of a figure who takes an important part of saving the life of the protagonist, an innocent prince sentenced to death by his very father. Considering these almost twin works, this article aims to explore the idea of loyalty that in Trigueros’s tragedy in which the author, in spite of the negative opinion of the censor, refused to modify the plot for the representaion of the work.

Aim: The aim of this study was to evaluate the Polish school nurses’ opinion on the topical fluoride treatment and their knowledge about fluoride safety. Material and methods: A cross-sectional study with the use of a self-administered questionnaire was conducted on 164 school nurses. The questionnaire concerned previous training in caries prevention, action taken at schools with regard to caries prevention, cooperation with dentists, opinion on the topical fluoride application program and nurses’ knowledge about fluoride safety. Results: 93.9% of nurses included oral health in their duties and 81.7% accomplished the topical fluoride treatment. 52.1% never attended any training concerning dental issues. Nurses from cities and villages more often than those from towns provided lectures on caries prevention and fluoride topical applications (respectively p= 0.033 and p=0.021, chi2 test). The nurses had a positive opinion on the effectiveness and safety of topical fluoride application. Only a half of respondents knew the fluoride probable toxic dose and one fifth of them did not know the concentration of fluoride in gel. The knowledge was statistically dependent on the level of nurses’ education (p=0.019, Kruskal-Wallis test). Nurses with a low level of knowledge were not aware of a potential harm effect of fluoride and they had negative opinion about the effectiveness of fluoride program at school. Conclusion: Polish school nurses had a positive opinion on topical fluoride treatment. However, there are gaps in their knowledge and the institutional training is needed.

La transparencia ha pasado en los últimos años a ser un pilar básico de las democracias contemporáneas (Monavarian et al., 2016). El periodismo, que tradicionalmente se ha conocido como el cuarto poder en las democracias occidentales, ha sido una de las disciplinas más afectadas por la apertura y transparencia en el siglo XXI. Este trabajo explora la percepción que los periodistas tienen sobre la transparencia en España y analiza el uso que estos profesionales realizan de los datos abiertos ofrecidos por instituciones y organismos. También estudia su valoración de la transparencia de las distintas instituciones e indaga en la utilidad que tienen los datos para estos. Para ello, se han realizado cuestionarios a periodistas españoles distribuidos por toda la geografía del país. Los resultados muestran una opinión negativa sobre la normativa actual y un escaso uso de los datos por parte de los profesionales de la información.
