Extraction of undesirable components from light catalytic cracking gasoil with N-methylpyrrolidone was studied. Extraction conditions were chosen, and the influence of the solvent to feed ratio on the process results was determined. Low solvent to feed ratios are favorable for obtaining highly concentrated extracts for the subsequent production of a liquid organic hydrogen carrier from them. The solvent to feed ratio of 0.75 : 1.00 can be recommended for obtaining a high-density jet fuel component.

A series of Ni–P–Mo–W catalysts with different P2O5 contents in the support (0, 0.5, 1.0, 2.0, and 5.0 wt % P2O5, Mo : W = 1 : 1) were synthesized. Heteropoly acids H3PMo12O40·nH2O and H3PW12O40·nH2O, as well as nickel citrate, served as the active phase precursors. The sulfide phase morphology and surface were examined by the HRTEM and XPS methods. The catalytic properties of the samples in the dibenzothiophene hydrodesulfurization and naphthalene hydrogenation reactions were determined. The XPS examination showed that the ratios of different Mo species (Mo6+, MoSxOy, MoS2) for samples modified with 0.5 and 1.0 wt % P2O5 deviated significantly from those for the rest of the samples. Specifically, with an increase in the phosphorus content the proportion of the Mo6+ species decreased, while that of the MoSxOy species, increased, and for the W species, a linear increase in the WS2 proportion (from 15.3 to 35.0%) was revealed in parallel with the corresponding decrease in the W6+ species proportion (from 78.8 to 57.1%). The catalytic activity of the samples in the dibenzothiophene hydrogenolysis and naphthalene hydrogenation reactions exhibited an extremal dependence on the P2O5 content with a maximum observed at 0.5–1.0 wt % P2O5.

- Abstract
The article is devoted to the issue of reducing the loss of beeswax during the processing of wax raw materials in the apiary. To do this, the author proposes the use of a complex of installations, including a wood-fueled steam generator, a frame wax melter and a centrifuge for squeezing wax from the waste of wax melting. The article examines the technological parameters of the centrifuge and describes its design. The results of a multifactorial study of the operating parameters of the centrifuge, including the speed of the centrifuge bowl, the duration of rotation and the temperature of the steam, are presented. The rational operating parameters of the centrifuge when squeezing wax from wax waste are within the following limits: rotational speed n=1000 min-1, steam temperature t=100 °C, centrifuge operation time T=15 min. The noted parameters make it possible to obtain the largest amount of wax in the centrifuge, the mass of which was M=1127 grams with the initial mass of the pressed raw material m0 =3000±10 grams. The conducted studies show that the use of a centrifuge when squeezing wax from the remelting waste of dark bee honeycombs can increase the wax yield by 37.5% and increase the profitability of the apiary.

The group kinetics of reactions of organic sulfur compounds present in light cycle oil (LCO) in the hydrotreating process over a Co6–PMo12(S)/Al2O3 sulfide catalyst based on phosphomolybdic heteropoly acid as a function of hydrogen pressure (4, 5, and 6 MPa) at varying temperature (300–360°C in 20°C increments) and space velocities of 0.5, 1.0, and 3.0 h–1 has been studied. Total sulfur content in the feedstock and the hydrogenation products has been determined. The obtained data on the kinetics of hydrodesulfurization (HDS) reactions can be used to select optimum modes of the LCO hydrotreating process. Using the coefficient of determination and Fisher’s ratio test values, the adequacy of the pseudo-first-order and 1.5-order kinetic models and the Langmuir–Hinshelwood model has been determined. A kinetic model describing the hydrodesulfurization of LCO by hydrotreating in the presence of the Co6–PMo12(S)/Al2O3 catalyst has been selected, and the kinetic characteristics of the HDS of the compounds constituting LCO have been determined.

The effect from the P2O5 introduction on the activity of Co(Ni)-Mo/Al2O3 catalysts in hydrotreating reactions of petroleum feedstock was examined. As support served γ-Al2O3, prepared from aluminum hydroxide AlOOH powder TH-60 (Sasol), with the following textural characteristics: SBET = 205 m2/g, Vpore = 0.682 cm3/g, Reff = 48 A. In order to optimize the amount of the modifier the catalyst samples were modified with 0.5, 1.0, 2.0, and 5.0 wt % P2O5. The support was impregnated with an aqueous solution of H3PO4, and this was followed by drying and calcination. The modified supports were impregnated with an aqueous solution of the active phase precursors. The catalyst samples were examined by temperature-programmed desorption (TPD) of ammonia; they were sulfided before the tests. Their catalytic properties were studied in a micro-flow bench-scale reactor under hydrogen pressure in the hydrotreating reactions of mixtures of straight-run diesel fraction with light coker gas oil and of straight-run diesel fraction with catalytically cracked light gas oil. The activities of the catalysts were determined in hydrodesulfurization and hydrogenation reactions. After the test the catalysts were subjected to differential thermal analysis in combination with thermogravimetry (DTA-TGA). The relationship between the acidity of the oxide form of the catalysts and the catalyst activity in hydrogenation reactions was demonstrated. The influence of the amount of the modifier introduced on the catalyst activity and the content of coke on the catalysts after the test was elucidated.

Changes in the chemical composition of the vacuum gas oil in a mixture with heavy coker gas oil in the presence of industrial and laboratory NiMoW/P2O5–Al2O3 catalyst were studied. The support used was γ-Al2O3, prepared from AlOOH powder TH-60 (Sasol), with the following textural characteristics: SBET = 205 m2/g, Vpore = 0.682 cm3/g, Reff = 48 A. Alumina was modified with P2O5 by incipient wetness impregnation with a solution of phosphoric acid (reagent grade), followed by drying and calcination. The catalysts were prepared by incipient wetness impregnation with a combined solution of Mo, W, and Ni compounds. Before the catalytic test, the catalysts were subjected to sulfidation directly in the hydrotreating reactor of a laboratory setup in a stream of H2S/H2 = 70/30 vol %/vol % under 0.11 MPa pressure for 2 h at 500°C. The catalytic properties of the catalysts synthesized were examined under the following conditions: temperature of 360 and 390°C, hydrogen pressure of 5.0 MPa, liquid hourly space velocity of 1.0 h–1, volume ratio of hydrogen to feed of 1000: 1 nL/L, catalyst loading (0.50–0.25 mm fraction) 27 cm3. The reactor temperature was controlled accurately to within 1°C, pressure, to within 0.1 MPa, feed rate, to within 0.2 mL/h, and hydrogen flow, to within 0.2 L/h. During the process the contents of sulfur and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, as well as the hydrocarbon-type content and carbon content of the feed and the hydrogenates, were determined. After the tests the catalysts were studied by differential thermal analysis in combination with thermogravimetry (DTA-TGA).

The influence of the introduction of V2O5 into NiMo/Al2O3 catalysts on their activity in hydrodesulfurization (HDS) and hydrogenation reactions of the components of petroleum fractions has been studied. The activity of the synthesized catalysts has been determined in the straight-run diesel and light coker gas oil hydrotreating processes in a flow-through unit under hydrogen pressure. The most active catalyst for HDS and hydrogenation of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons has been synthesized using VMo12 heteropoly compounds: the activity increases by 6–10 and 11–13 wt % in HDS and PAH hydrogenation, respectively, at different temperatures. It has been shown that the activity of the regenerated catalyst further impregnated with the vanadium compound in HDS and PAH hydrogenation increases by 2–5 rel. %, as compared to the regenerated catalyst.

Relevance. Diphtheria is one of the dangerous diseases that threaten human life. Immunization is the only means of creating a favorable epidemiological situation. Ensuring the immunity of the population to this infection prevents the occurrence of the rise and spread of diphtheria among the population. One of the ways to assess the state of specific immunity to diphtheria is annual serological monitoring. Aims. Assessment of the state of antidiphtheria immunity in different age groups of the population of the Russian Federation based on seromonitoring data for 2015–2021. Materials and methods. The data of serological monitoring of diphtheria and the state of vaccination of the population by indicator groups from 85 subjects of the Russian Federation in 2015–2021 were analyzed. In just 7 years, in terms of seromonitoring in Russia, 439,874 people were examined for the presence of antibodies to diphtheria, including 73,559 children in the age group of 3–4 years, 74,424 adolescents aged 15–17 years, and 291,891 adults aged 18 and older. During the same period, 12,154 controlled blood sera from 20 subjects of the Russian Federation were examined. In the age group of 3–4 years – 1834 children, 15–17 years – 1366 teenagers, 18–29 years – 1711 adults, 30–39 years – 1724 adults, 40–49 years – 1918 adults, 50–59 years – 1798 adults, 60 years and older – 1803 adults. The presence of antibodies to diphtheria was determined in the course of passive hemagglutination. The protective titers of antibodies were taken to be dilution of sera with a titer of 1:20 or more, the intensity of anti-diphtheria immunity was assessed as follows: antibody titers in dilution of sera 1:20–1:40 – low titers, 1:80–1:160 – medium and 1:320 or more – high titers of antibodies of JSC «Biomed» im. I. I. Mechnikov. Results and discussion. In Russia, improving the surveillance system for diphtheria continues to be an urgent task of the private epidemiology of this infection. The data obtained during the study allowed us to characterize the population immunity of the population of the Russian Federation, as a whole across the country, as sufficient to prevent the occurrence and spread of diphtheria. The main factor contributing to this was the long-term high coverage of vaccinations against diphtheria of persons in the decreed age groups (more than 95% of those vaccinated from the number of persons to be vaccinated in each age group). When comparing the level of immunization of the population depending on age, it was found that the percentage of vaccinated persons in the age group of people 50 years and older was statistically significantly lower than in the group of people younger than 50 years. The data of serological studies in Russia as a whole showed a high proportion of people with protective titers of antibodies to diphtheria in each age group – 3–4 years – 96.7 ± 0.1%, 15–17 years – 98.3 ± 0.1%, 18–29 years – 96,0 ± 0,4% – 97,5 ± 0,3%, 30–39 – 95,9 ± 0,4% – 97,5 ± 0.3%, 40–49 years old – 95,7 ± 0,4% – 97,7 ± 0,3%. The largest proportion of seronegative individuals is detected among groups aged 50–59 years and 60 years and older. The analysis of the share of seronegative persons in certain subjects of the Russian Federation revealed that the number of territories with a share of seronegative persons of more than 10% in the age groups of 50–59 years and 60 years and older was significantly higher than in other age groups. Conclusion. Thus, when planning companies for «сatch-up» immunization, it is advisable to provide mandatory revaccination of seronegative persons over 50 years of age. Timely revaccination according to the National Vaccination Calendar, tracking the proportion of persons susceptible to diphtheria in all indicator groups, followed by revaccination of seronegative persons in older ages will allow maintaining a high level of population immunity (more than 95%) and ensuring a consistently low incidence of diphtheria in the country for many years.

The dependence of the catalytic activity of nickel–molybdenum–tungsten sulfide catalysts on the Mo/W molar ratio is studied in order to develop an effective catalytic composition for the hydrorefining of petroleum. Threemetallic catalysts of Ni6-PMo n W12–n /Al2O3 composition, where n = 0–12 (Ni6-PMo n W12–n (S)/Al2O3 after sulfurizing), are synthesized. The morphology of the active-phase particles of sulfide samples is investigated using high-resolution transmission electron microscopy. The average length of NiMo(W)S phase layers, the average number of layers in a crystallite, the number of Mo(W) atoms in a layer, and the fraction of Mo(W) atoms in the rib and angular positions are calculated. The effect of the Mo/W molar ratio on the catalytic activity of the prepared samples is studied during the dibenzothiophene hydrogenolysis, hydrodesulfurization (HDS), and hydrogenation of olephins and aromatic compounds when hydrotreating diesel fractions and vacuum gas oil. A sample with molar ratio Mo: W = 1: 1 was found to be the one most active in the reactions of HDS and hydrogenation.

The results from 15 years of studies performed at the Samara State Technical University in the field of developing highly active sulfide catalysts for the hydrotreatment of straight-run and refractory low-grade oil fractions with the use of molybdenum and tungsten heteropoly compounds (HPCs) as precursors are presented. A wide range of HPCs with Anderson and Keggin structures is studied in the synthesis of sulfide catalysts. The order of activities in the hydrodesulfurization of sulfur compounds and the hydrogenation of unsaturated hydrocarbons are established for the heteroelements incorporated into HPCs. Catalytic activity—HPC heteroatom electronegativity correlations are revealed. Special attention is given to controlling the selectivity of catalysts with respect to parallel hydrogenation and hydrodesulfurization reactions. A wide variety of highly active sulfide catalysts for the hydrotreatment of diesel fuel, catalytic cracking gasoline, vacuum gas oil, and lube feedstocks is developed. The techniques for their synthesis and activation (sulfidation) are substantiated. The developments are patented and are close to being introduced at oil refineries whenever they are ready.

The structural-group composition and properties of the base oil samples obtained by solvent extraction technology and with the use of hydrofinishing of the solvent refined product have been studied. Sample 1 has been obtained via solvent refining and subsequent dewaxing, and samples 2 and 3 have been obtained according to a scheme comprising solvent refining and raffinate hydrofinishing over a NiMoW/ZnO-Al2O3 catalyst followed by dewaxing. The hydrotreating of the raffinate in the presence of the modified NiMoW/ZnO-Al2O3 catalyst can be conducted under mild conditions at 5.0 MPa.

This article deals with the optimization criteria for a dual-mass electromechanical system, the choice of which is made according to three generalized parameters: the frequency of the mechanical resonance of a single-mass system, the electromechanical time constants of the electric motor and the working mechanism. In addition, a technique was developed for selecting the gear ratio of the gearbox.

The aim of the study was to characterize toxigenic strains of Corynebacterium diphtheriae by examining 12 toxigenic strains of C. diphtheriae isolated in Russia between January, 2017 to June, 2019. The morphological, toxigenic and biochemical properties of C. diphtheriae was studied. Genotyping of C. diphtheriae strains was performed using MLST and dtxR gene sequencing with subsequent phylogenetic analysis. Results. Toxigenic strains of C. diphtheriae were isolated in the Novosibirsk, Samara and Chelyabinsk Regions, the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug — Yugra as well as the Republic of Northern Ossetia — Alania. Among these strains, 5 were isolated from diphtheria patients (moderate disease found in one case, mild course — remaining patients) and 7 strains were isolated from bacterial carriers. In two cases C. diphtheriae from diphtheria patients were identified as ST25 sequence type, gravis variant; in one case — ST8 type, gravis variant; two cases — ST67 sequence type, mitis variant. In asymptomatic carriers of tox-positive C. diphtheriae strains they belonged to ST25 sequence type, gravis variant — in two cases, ST67 type, mitis variant — in four cases. A sequencing type was not identified in one case. All sequence types were widespread globally being presented by a large number of isolates in the PubMLST and characterized by a substantial amount of derivative sequence types. At the same time, they belonged to different clonal complexes and differed markedly from each other contributing to their reliable difference as assessed by MLST. Study of gene dtxR sequence diversity showed that all allelic variants were typical for the representatives of these sequence types. New alleles of gene dtxR were not revealed in strains examined. It was shown that non-synonymous substitution C440T leading to A147V amino acid substitution was found solely in one allele distributed in ST8, ST185, ST195 and ST451 types suggesting at late mutation. In contrast, the polymorphism C640A resulting in the amino acid substitution L214I was found not only in the same allele, but also in the basal tree branches indicating that isoleucine was in the ancestral sequence of the protein.

Of 3200 patients admitted to the nephrology department within several years, hyperuricemia was detected in 696. Excluding from this number persons with signs of chronic renal insufficiency (146 persons) and patients who were treated by diuretics (89), the frequency of hyperuricemia was 16.2% which exceeded almost 2-fold (9.2%) the value determined during the examination of 594 healthy persons. The authors discussed a possibility of early development of renal pathology in purine metabolic derangement with hyperuricosuric and hyperuricemic stages characterized by certain clinical peculiarities, including a possibility of development of immune complex nephritis.
