A theoretical work in which the development of the child of younger school age will be described in the introductory chapters in terms of physical, cognitive, emotional development and socialization. This will be followed by a brief outline of the influence of music on child development and a description of the development of musicality in children in the areas of musical hearing, rhythmic, tonal and harmonic sensitivity. The main part of the thesis will deal with a particular singing group from the Borovany Elementary School and their thematic project Fairy Tale Forest, the main part of which was the preparation of the children's opera Budulínek by J. Uhlíř and Z. Svěrák. This section will describe the outline plan and preparation process for the project, including a few selected activities and activities that serve to develop children's musical skills.

The thesis The Possibilities of Bibliotherapy in the Development of Communication Skills of Young School-Age Children with Symptomatic Speech Disorder deals with the question whether bibliotherapy can be used in the educational process as one of the methods for developing communication skills. The work is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical one focuses on the characteristics of the younger school age and language development in this period in order to better understand the issue of symptomatic speech disorders. Possible deviations in language development which lead to this impairment of communication ability are explained. The paper also describes brief characteristics of symptomatic speech disorders in children with intellectual disabilities, cerebral palsy, hearing impairment and ADHD. Finally, specific recommendations appropriate when communicating with students suffering from communication disorders are provided. Title: Comparison of the physical fitness of pupils in small-class schools in Benecko Elementary School, Štěpanice Elementary School, Moravec Elementary School and Vraňany Elementary School Goal of this project: The goal of this study is to compare the physical fitness of first-grade pupils in selected small-class schools in various regions in the Czech Republic and to compare their performance with the population norm in accordance with the UNIFITTEST (6-60). Method: The UNIFITTEST (6-60) standardized test has been used for the research, which serves for the assessment of the development of basic motoric skills. In total, 115 pupils have been tested in four (4) small-class elementary schools. Frequency analysis in Microsoft Excel 2016 has been used for the data analysis. Findings: The results have shown that the selected schools are on average in the overall evaluation of all disciplines according to the ten-point norm of the UNIFITTEST test (6-60) ranging from 5 to 6.5 points per pupil. After summing up, evaluating, and comparing all the tested disciplines in each of the schools, Elementary school Benecko reached the best score with an average of 6.5 points per pupil. Tite: Assessment of motor abilities of gymnasts and girls from school PE throught Eurofit tests. Aims: The aim of the work was to assess the level of motor skills in girls of younger school age who were tested using selected Eurofit tests. The theoretical part of the work deals with motor skills, the characteristics of gymnastics, the content of school TV and describes the concept of versatility. The research part focuses on comparing the level of motor skills in the tested girls. The results are presented graphically and in tables. Methods of work: The bachelor's thesis was processed as a quantitative research. 16 girls of younger school age were tested. The girls were tested with selected motor tests from the Eurofit test battery. Basic statistical analysis was used to process the collected data. Results: It is clear from the results that girls engaged in sports gymnastics and in whose training elements of versatility are included have a better level of motor skills than girls who encountered gymnastics only through physical education. 7 Abstract: Title: Regeneration in children's sports. Purposes: The aim is to compare the recommendations literature from a for regeneration of younger school-aged children from with their actual practical application in sports. Another goal is to subsequently evaluate how families approach the regeneration of their children. Methods: This bachelor' s thesis is non-experimental in character. To obtain the required data, methods of literature search, an observation method, and a questionnaire method were applied to a set of 32 sports children aged 6-10 years. The data was processed in exel program in the form of graphs and chart. Results: The conclusions of the questionnaire investigation were presented in the form of well arranged graphs and a chart and they indicate a sufficient transfer of the regenerative means recommended by the literature in children's sports into practical life not only in sports but also in families, personal life. Title: Verification of children's physical fitness in the project Děti na startu. Objectives: The main aim of the work is to evaluate the fitness of the children of the selected schools and verify the influence of the movement program of the project Děti na startu. Methods: The research was based on testing children's physical fitness using selected standardized Unifittests. Testing took place on two dates, in September and December. In the period between the two measurements, the movement program of the mentioned project was applied. The measured data were processed using basic statistical methods in the Microsoft Excel program. The theoretical part was prepared by literary research from book and internet sources related to the given topic. Results: By testing children's fitness using the Unifittest, it was found that after a 3-month application of the intervention movement program Děti na startu, the majority of test probands improved the results of selected tests. The regular inclusion of versatile exercise programs thus shows a positive effect on the development of movement skills important for the overall and all-round development of pre-school children and children of younger school age. The aim of my master thesis is to compare the entry and exit swimming level of younger school-age children in the context of compulsory swimming lessons at the first level of primary school. The essential criterion for comparing the children's tested skills will be whether they receive swimming lessons in the form of intensive courses or in a schedule of one visit to a swimming facility per week. Swimming skills will be monitored for children in second and third grades, both boys and girls. The final distance swum by the children will then be categorised according to both the official diagnostic tables proposed by Čechovská and unofficial tables with more detailed intervals used internally by the swimming school where the research was conducted. In the theoretical part, the origins of swimming and its historical development in the world and in the Czech Republic are first mentioned, with an overlap to the current form of swimming, especially in the context of swimming education. Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na problematiku osvojování slovní zásoby v cizím jazyce. Představuje intervenční studii ověřující přínos Metody slovíček v příbězích při osvojení nové slovní zásoby v anglickém jazyce u dětí mladšího školního věku. Teoretická část je rozdělena do tří kapitol, ve kterých představuje aktuální poznatky o paměti. Zabývá se také paměťovými technikami a možnostmi využití paměťových technik při osvojování a výuce slovní zásoby. Práce popisuje jak pojetí, tak současný stav poznání daných pojmů ve vztahu k učení a úspěšnému rozvoji cizojazyčných kompetencí. Praktická část se opírá o kvantitativní výzkum, ve kterém proběhla výuka slovní zásoby anglického jazyka pomocí vybraných paměťových technik. Samotné výzkumné šetření probíhalo ve dvou výzkumných skupinách žáků 4. ročníků po dobu 12 týdnů. Kromě úrovně osvojení jazyka a slovní zásoby včetně pravopisu slov byly sledovány také individuální rozdíly v paměťových schopnostech žáků. vi Abstract Title: The physical discomfort mapping in connection with regularly esport activities in younger and older school age. Objectives: The main aim of the diploma is to collect data from young Czech esport players about their physical discomfort in connection with regular practice of esport. Another partial goal is to propose a prevention of injury and a method of motivation for its practice. Methods: Data collection was obtained through a questionnaire survey. The esports players from the capital city of Prague, aged 11-16, from elementary schools and high schools participated. All surveys were anonymous. For a validation of the questionnaire a preliminary survey was compiled. Data from the modified questionnaire were processed using descriptive statistics in MS Excel. Results: 402 respondents, aged 11-16 (13.3 ± 1.269), including 258 males and 144 females, completed a questionnaire survey. The results of the study showed that there is a correlation between musculoskeletal pain and time spent on esports (P=0.0059 at a significance level of alpha = 0.05). More than half of the gamers (53%) regularly interrupt prolonged sitting during gaming sessions and 51% (n=207) of gamers reported being told how to sit. The thesis is focused on teaching first aid at the first level of primary school. I'm presenting the latest first aid methods in the theoretical part. Furthermore, the thesis deals with how first aid is thought of in the framework curriculum for primary education. There is also a mention of the skills of younger school age pupils from a developmental psychology perspective. It also discusses appropriate methods and form of teaching to help teachers in presenting first aid. The practical part of the thesis deals with the readiness and unreadiness of graduates of the Faculty of Education of Charles University to teach first aid. Through a questionnaire, I'm investigating whether students would welcome first aid teaching as a compulsory subject, and what they feel insecure about when teaching first aid. I also suggest a week-long thematic lecture and proven methods and forms of work. The results of research are presented, evaluating whether students who have received thematic first aid instruction are more likely to remember and be able to administer first aid than students who have not participated. The bachelor's thesis deals with the comparison of the performance of registered athletes of the elevs category and children of the general population of fifth grade in athletic quadruple. The athletic quadruple consists of 60 metres run, long jump, 600 metres run and cricket ball throw. The main objective is to determine, how much specialization at an early age affects athletic performance. A sub-objective is to compare the performance of registered athletes and children of the general population using mathematical and statistical methods in each selected discipline. The performance measurements took place in the USK Provod club and at the Mírová elementary school in Ústí nad Labem. The total number of the research population is 40 children, 20 registered athletes and 20 children of the general population, 10 girls and 10 boys. The data from my research show that specialization and regular training at an early age were able to significantly influence the performance of registered athletes. The category of registered athletes performs better than the category of children of the general population in all the specified disciplines.

DIPLOMA THESIS The Bartered Bride and its Use in Music Education at Primary School Petra Prýmková ABSTRACT The diploma thesis deals with the opera The Bartered Bride by Bedřich Smetana and its pedagogical interpretation in music education at primary school. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the concept of didactic interpretation, which relies heavily on the musical analysis of the chosen opera. The analytical section includes a description of the composer's musical language and a brief introduction to his life. The musical analysis presents the origins, performance, libretto, cast and other historical and social aspects of the opera. The musical analysis focuses on those parts of The Bartered Bride that are essential for the use of the musical work and its didactic interpretation in the music education process. The practical part of the thesis provides a didactic interpretation of selected parts of Smetana's work. A group of primary school students serves as a sample. The outcome of the thesis is a set of didactic materials that can be used as an inspirational source for future and current music teachers at the primary school level. Title: Development of flexibility in young school gymnasts Objectives: The main objective of this work is to create an intervention program focused on developing flexibility for young school-age female gymnasts, and to practice exercises for a period of 3 months during training. Methods: For the purpose of this bachelor thesis, we selected 5 tests from the file of the International Gymnastics Federation. The participants were measured at the beginning of the testing period (March) and then again at the end of the testing period (May). For a period of 3 months, they incorporated exercises from the intervention program into their training sessions, aiming to improve their range of motion Results: The created intervention program had a positive impact on the development of flexibility. Tested girls improved their scores in all 5 tested exercises after the three-month intervention, thus enhancing their level of flexibility. Title: Prevention of poor posture and muscle imbalances of pupils in the 1st grade of elementary school - questionnaire survey Objectives: Finding the frequency of use of the means of preventing poor posture and muscle imbalances in elementary schools in the South Bohemian Region. Methods: I used a quantitative method, a questionnaire, which contained 22 questions, to develop the research in the diploma thesis. I sent the questionnaire by e-mail to the management of 250 schools in the South Bohemian Region with a request to resent it to 1st grade teachers. The questionnaire contained closed, semi-closed and open questions. A total of 92 completed questionnaires were returned. I processed the questionnaires into graphs and evaluated the individual answers. Based on the evaluated answers, I answered my research questions. Results: The results of the questionnaire survey showed that 32.6% of teachers in the South Bohemian Region regularly engage in compensatory exercise, which includes stretching and strengthening exercises, every PA lesson. According to my survey, only 29.3% of teachers add physical education moments to their lessons regularly every day. Title: The most common mistakes in crawl swimming in second and third school year from Benešov district and their remedy. Objective: The aim of this work will be to determine the most common mistakes that children in seconad and third grades make in the technical execution of the crawl swimming stroke. Methods: The research conducted for this work was supervised by the supervisor of the work, and an evaluation scale was used during the pocess. The obtained results were taken down in tabels and graph for clarity. Results: Based on the evaluation of the used scale, the most frequently recurring errors in the given movement category were revealed. In the correct body position, students made mistakes by the positioning their bodies incorrectly so that the water level crossed their forehead while swimming. In the activity of the upper limbs, the incorrect submersion of the arm dominated, which did not occur at the shoulder level. In the lower limbs, irregular movement and coordination prevailed. Regardless of gender, two most common mistakes were observed in breathing - students did not breath to the side and were unable to time inhalation correctly. Title: Teaching Eskimo rolls to children and youth Objectives: The aim of the diploma thesis is to create a comprehensive pictorial methodical series of training the Sweep roll, focused at teaching children and youth. Methods: The work is based on selective and participatory observation. The following recording of the image material is captured by the GoPro HERO 5 Session camera, which is further processed in the Windows operating system Photos, Fotor and 3D Painting application. Results: The result of the diploma thesis is a methodological series focused on teaching Eskimo roll to children and youth. The description of the individual preparatory exercises is supplemented by visual material capturing the key points of the student's technique and important moments during the teacher's assistance. Conclusion: A methodical series of Sweep roll preparatory exercises focused on children and youth can serve as a training recommendation for the general public. This thesis deals with the area of difficulties in arithmetic skills in relation to metacognition and selected cognitive prerequisites in younger school age pupils. The theoretical part of this thesis provides an insight into the issues of the metacognition, of the mathematical skills, of the cognitive prerequisites for their development, of the metacognition in relation to the mathematics, and also deals with the tools for measuring these areas. The empirical part describes the research, which aimed to compare the metacognitive knowledge (of self, tasks and strategies) and selected cognitive assumptions (symbolic and non-symbolic perception of quantity (numerosity), spatial ability, inhibition) of a group of students with a lower level of the arithmetic skills (N=24) and a group of students with a level of arithmetic skills within the norm (N=31). The results of the research showed a difference between the research groups in metacognitive knowledge of self, and metacognitive knowledge of competence-enhancing strategies. In the other monitored areas (metacognitive knowledge of tasks, avoidance strategies and selected cognitive prerequisites), no statistically significant difference between the observed groups of students was demonstrated. The submitted diploma thesis deals with the technique and methodology of the athletic discipline of throwing a cricket ball for primary school teachers. In the analytical part, with the help of content analysis of professional publication sources, the developmental period of younger school age is characterized, the importance of physical education and controlled physical activities at this age is outlined and the Framework educational program for basic education is mentioned in accordance with the work concept. An integral part of the diploma thesis is an instructional video, the verbal description of which is the main content of the synthetic part, including the introduction of preparatory games and the presentation of possible teaching units aimed at developing basic and special movement skills. The processed video is intended to function as a visual didactic aid for first-level teachers in practice.

Title: Physical activity of primary school children in the Czech Republic, during the COVID-19 pandemic Objectives: The aim of this diploma thesis is to evaluate how the period of the COVID-19 pandemic in the Czech Republic affected the physical activity of children of younger school age. Methods: The research was conducted using a questionnaire survey. The questionnaire was distributed in electronic version to primary schools (first stage) in the Czech Republic, schools in the capital city of Prague were excluded. In total, 215 responses were obtained. Children of both sexes, aged 6-12, living in the city and in the village and in all 1st grades of primary school corresponded. The collected data were analyzed using absolute percentage numbers, descriptive statistics and the Wilcoxon test. The results were presented in the form of tables and graphs for better clarity. Results: The research sample showed a significant reduction in the amount of physical activity during the COVID-19 pandemic compared to the period before the pandemic. There was no significant difference in the amount of physical activity between children living in the city and in the village. The bachelor thesis is concentrated on the instructor of modern dance who is influencing other people as the leisure educator. The author defines the term modern dance and also characterize particularities of this sports field. The thesis also deals with the dance as type of a leisure activity and it briefly characterizes the leisure education concentrated mainly on the dance and education of leisure activities. The piece of work is focused on the children at the age between six and eleven years. The author also characterizes the evolution of the children and their physical abilities and the readers of the thesis are able to find out something about the educational methods of the leisure educator as well. The last chapter focuses on the personality of the leisure educator. Furthermore, this part defines the aims of his work and the scope of his activity. The bachelor thesis also concentrates on the leisure educator in the field of dancing, mainly the modern one.

The theoretical part talks about the issue of attention in childhood, the components of attention and the circumstances that affect child's development. The research part is devoted to research that took place in kindergarden and two primary schools in Prague. It lasted three months. There are hypotheses for this work based on the studied literature. The research set and it's creation are described here, as well as the research methods used. It describes the framework of the yoga lesson, attention test for both age groups and in the research part we can find tables of results of each class and their percentage improvement between input and output tests. The aim of this thesis is an introduction of the selected literary works that might prove beneficial in implementation for purposes of bibliotherapy in leisure education of literacy for children and adolescents. The thesis divides into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part is concerned with bibliotherapy, its history, forms, methods and associated expressive therapies. The thesis then establishes selected approaches and methods commonly used in bibliotherapy, along with a preview and basic introduction into works that form the basis for completing methodical worksheets in the practical part. The practical part focuses on verification and reflection on methodical worksheets for middle childhood learners in after-school care.

The aim of the graduation thesis was to investigate influence of facia ball on children's motoric system. Graduation thesis is based on theoretic-didactical form. First part is analytical part. This part works around literature. From which is set specific training program for releasing of facia. Second part, practical part, deals with specific use of selected exercise and its results. Entering into summary of 15 selected compensatory exercises. After first examination is set, another exercise, including children in groups, took place on weekly basis for 8 weeks. Exercise was held at the end of physical education - as releasing exercise after workload. Afterwards the final examination was held. On same basis as the entry exercise. Then the efect of compensatory exercise will be deducted. This thesis should contribute in implementation of fascial ball into physical education. Thesis also anwers the question if it has influence on output results of FMS test. As Final summary we can say yes because almost all students got better after functional movement system after 8 weeks of workout with fascial ball.

Title: Occurrence of flatfeet and level of postural stability of children aged 6-11 years Objectives: The target of my study was to do screening of postural stability and foot arch of primary school children. Another aim was to verify the incidence the relationship between functional flatfoot and postural stability among 6-11 age children with the usage of podoscope and dynamic balance test Mini BESTest. Methods: The research was processed in 7. elementary schools located in Chomutov. In total participed 227 children 6 - 11 years old. The stability was evaluated according set of tests Mini-BESTest: Balance Evaluation Systems Test ©. Flat arch was examined by podoscope with two cameras and software MultiReha®. Data were evaluated in Microsoft Office Excel and RStudio. Results: The average score of Mini BESTest of the monitored subject was 24,32. Females got higer score (24,66) compared to males (24,08). Physiological arch of the foot was diagnosed for 67 % of students, flatfoot for 14 %, highfoot for 19 %. The foot arch does not have influence on postural stability of pupils in younger school age. The diploma thesis deals with the topic of speech therapy intervention and its specifics in children of younger school age with developmental dysphasia, taking into account the practical use of worksheets. The theoretical part of the work characterizes the child's development in the period of younger school age with an emphasis on the development of cognitive and language abilities and the definition of the terms language, speech and communication. In the theoretical part of the thesis developmental dysphasia is described as a complex disruption of communication skills affecting the child's functioning in the educational process. In conclusion, space is devoted to the introduction of developmental dysphasia speech therapy intervention options used in the Czech Republic and abroad. The practical part represents a qualitative research investigation, focusing on verification of the usability of created therapeutic materials for three pupils of younger school age with developmental dysphasia. In the research the method of case studies was used, main methods of data collection were observation and documentation analysis. The diploma thesis covers about the use of developmental bibliotherapy in stressful situations of preschool and primary school age children. In first chapter thesis defined bibliotherapy, especially developmental bibliotherapy. In second chapter thesis directed characteristics of preschool and primary school age children, characterizes the most common stressful situations, with which children of this age can meet - divorce of their parents, illnesses and quarantine, bereavement or toleration of difference. The goal of this diploma thesis is making the stories and accompany them with proposals of bibliotherapy activities for working in stressfull situations of preschool and primary school age children.

This bachelor thesis contains the psychological development of the child, auditory perception, vocal system, introduces us to the basic concepts of music theory, defines the concept of musicality, it introduces us to how music education affects the child's health. Finally, this thesis also offers examples of suitable musical activities for children of this age that can be used in music lessons.

This diploma thesis deals with the topic of death and its mediation to pupils of younger school age. The aim of the thesis is to find and introduce appropriate literature for younger school-age pupils and to offer ways of conveying a complicated topic through the literature to younger school-age pupils. The theoretical part of this thesis deals with the definition of death and the concepts related to it. It also defines the concept of the younger school age and describes the emotional development of the child at this age. The thesis also provide space for the definition of literature for the younger school age and for the characteristics of publishing houses concerned with publishing the books with the theme of death for children of younger school age. The theoretical part also introduces, through brief annotations, selected titles of literary works conveying the theme of death. At the end of the theoretical chapter of this thesis, the background of the RWCT program is described, the methods of this program are introduced, and the three-phase E-U-R learning model used in the preparation of the lessons of the practical part of the thesis is specified. This diploma thesis deals with the issue of motivation for physical activity of primary school pupils Mohylová in Prague 13. Its aim is to obtain information about what motivates younger school-age pupils to physical activities, how they relate to movement and compare results between years. The work is divided into two parts - theoretical and research. The theoretical part explains the concepts related to the topic of work, such as motivation, physical activity, there is a description of the younger school age and the various stages of its development. Furthermore, this part deals with leisure, lifestyle issues and health. The research part is focused on research and interpretation of the results. The survey took the form of a questionnaire, which was conducted for pupils in the 1st to 5th grades of the Mohylová primary school. With the help of a guided interview, the opinions of primary school teachers Mohylová on the issue of physical activity of younger school-age pupils and motivation to move were ascertained. The results of the thesis showed that pupils have a positive relationship to physical activity, physical activity brings them joy and their greatest motivation to move is the need to be healthy. Work deals with barriers in inclusion for children with Epidermolysis bullosa disease. The theoretical section introduces basic information about epidermolysis bullosa disease and the care of such sick children. It also describes the DEBRA organisation, characterising the younger school age with regard to disability and characterising the foundations of inclusion. The practical part contains qualitative research examining the existence of barriers in inclusion. For the data collection, a semi-structured interview was chosen for the three families in which the child is located with EB and the conversations are part of the annexes. It also includes an analysis of all three interviews using so-called emerging topics that are recorded in the tables, the tables are also included in the annexes. All three families have a positive attitude to the disease and teach their children autonomy. They identify teacher fear as the main barrier to inclusion. But good inclusion is all about the moral.

This diploma thesis describes the topic of technical monuments of the region and their use in teaching at the primary school. In the theoretical part, I deal with four main areas. The first area is devoted to the characteristics of the child of younger school age. The second area deals with primary technical literacy, its goals, concepts and components. The third area gives a brief description of the technical areas in the RVP ZV. The fourth and final area deals with the characteristics of selected objects of the pupil's place of residence for application in technical education at the primary school. The practical part contains three lesson preparations and two preparations that have been implemented. The developed and verified preparations are intended for pupils from the second to the fifth year of primary school. The practical part contains worksheets and reflections from the lessons.
