This is a study of mosque pedagogies and their relevance for the formation of the moral and political identity of Turkish-Dutch youth. Based on fieldwork in two mosques affiliated with Milli Görüş and Diyanet in the Netherlands, the study identifies three different pedagogies practiced in the mosque classrooms: pedagogy of national identity building, unorthodox pedagogies of bonding, and pedagogies of moral formation. The findings show that teaching activities in both mosques contain messages pertaining to citizenship norms and values in areas such as interaction between different genders, ideas of crime, justice and punishment, relationship to authority and boundaries of individual autonomy. Apart from auxiliary use of Dutch and copying Dutch schools’ motivation and discipline strategies, we did not find specific Dutch aspects of the education that was provided. The intention to create a pious and nationalist diaspora youth was a common denominator for the pedagogies of both mosques.

The Teşkilât-ı Esasiye Kānūnu of 1921 is an interesting snapshot of the state-building process of the Turkish State during the Millî Mücadele. In this transitional period, the Ankara Meclis puts in the Chart all the expectations for the new State, drawing a system strongly based on Parliamentarism. While denying the Imperial authority, it voluntarily defers the definition of the form of the State, paving the way to a new idea of sovereignty. The fundamental Chart constitutes the instrument the Meclis uses to inject new fundamental concepts in the Turkish legal system, while overcoming the concept of osmanlıcılık. A courageous attempt to introduce in Turkey some of the most advanced ideas of public law at that time, it represents the evolution and the end of the second Constitutional Era. This work aims to demonstrate how this Chart and the following reforms represent the base of much of what Turkey was for almost a century.

Turkiye'de 2023 Eǧitim Vizyonu sonrasinda mesleki eǧitimde kaliteyi artirmaya yonelik sistematik adimlar atilmis ve kisa surede sonuclari alinmaya baslanmistir. Sektorlerle kurulan is birliklerinin kapsami ve olceǧi genisletilmis ve kalite guvence sistemi kurulmustur. Mesleki eǧitimde isletmelerde beceri eǧitimi guclendirilmis ve uygulamali eǧitime aǧirlik verilmistir. Mesleki eǧitimde mukemmeliyet merkezleri olarak kurulan AR-GE merkezlerinde fikri mulkiyet calismalari odaǧa alinmis ve bu kapsamda patent, faydali model, tasarim ve marka uretim ve tescil surecine aǧirlik verilmistir. Milli Eǧitim Bakanliǧi mesleki eǧitimde kaliteyi yayginlastirmak ve okullar arasi basari farkini azaltmak icin yeni bir adim atarak 'Mesleki Eǧitimde 1.000 Okul Projesi'ni baslatmistir. Bu calismada bu proje tanitilmakta ve proje kapsaminda atilacak adimlara deǧinilmektedir. Proje kapsaminda mesleki eǧitimde secilen okullarin altyapisi ve eǧitim-oǧretim ortamlari iyilestirilecek ve zenginlestirilecektir. Diǧer taraftan oǧrencilere yonelik temel beceri eksikliklerini telafi etmeye yonelik eǧitim desteǧi ve kisisel gelisim destekleri verilecektir. Ayrica oǧrencilerin velilerine yonelik hayat boyu oǧrenme kapsaminda eǧitim desteǧi verilecektir. Suresi bir yil olarak belirlenen proje basarili bir sekilde tamamlandiǧinda Turkiye'de mesleki eǧitimde yasanan iyilesme tum okullara yayilmis ve toplam bir iyilesme saǧlanmis olacaktir. Ayrica, mesleki ve teknik Anadolu liseleri ile diǧer lise turleri arasindaki basari farklari da azalacaktir.Alternate abstract:Systematic steps have been taken to improve the quality of vocational education and training (VET) in Turkey after the publication of the country's Education Vision 2023 document, resulting in short-term positive outcomes. These actions expanded the scope and scale of the collaborations with these sectors, as well as establishing a quality assurance system in VET. Additionally, the greater proportion of on-the-job training programs established through these reforms have increased students' skill development. Research and development centers focusing on intellectual property were established as centers of excellence in VET, and patent, utility model, design, and trademark productions and registration processes were also prioritized during this period. At this point, the Ministry of National Education (MoNE) has taken a new step to improve the quality of VET and alleviate the achievement gap by starting the "1,000 Schools in Vocational Education and Training" Project. The present study introduces this project and discusses its aims and scope in detail. The project implements a holistic approach towards narrowing the achievement gap, aiming to improve the infrastructure and educational environments of VET schools through considerable investments in school development, as well as building teachers and executive leaders' capacities. Additionally, students' educational and personal development will be supported in a multifaceted way to compensate for deficiencies in basic skills. Parents will also be supported through planned lifelong learning mechanisms. When the initial project has been completed after one year, the improvement in VET will be scaled up to expand to all schools in Turkey. Ideally, the 1,000 Schools Project will help to narrow the achievement gap between high schools in Turkey.

In this study, it was aimed to examine the work burnout of music teachers during the Covid 19 process in terms of some variables. Based on the causal comparison method in the research;In the Covid 19 process, the burnout levels of music teachers were compared according to the variables of gender, professional seniority, marital status and the type of school studied. The sample of the study consists of 243 music teachers working in private and state schools affiliated to Konya, Mersin, Ankara, Erzurum, Trabzon and Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education. Maslach Burnout Inventory was used to collect research data. According to the research findings, it was observed that burnout of music teachers during the Covid 19 process was moderate. In addition, it was observed that the burnout of music teachers during the Covid 19 process showed a significant difference according to gender, marital status, professional seniority and school type. Based on the research results, suggestions were made to reduce the burnout of music teachers during the Covid 19 process. Nematodes of the Ancylostomidae family consist of important parasitic species. The control of such parasitosis represents an important challenge, given the constant high rate of reinfection of some hosts, among which the domestic dog, as well as the high environmental contamination. Another factor that can have a negative influence is the toxicity of the chemicals used for environmental decontamination, highlighting the need to design research to identify new control strategies for this parasitosis, among which the use of plant extracts. Thus, the objective of this research was to evaluate the toxicity and ovicidal activity of hydroalcoholic extracts obtained by percolation of three plants: Tagetes minuta L., Euphorbia milli var splendens (Bojer ex Hook.) Ursch & Leandri and Synadenium carinatum Boiss, against Ancylostoma spp. In addition, these extracts were tested at different concentrations for toxicity against Artemia salina L. and Allium cepa L. It was observed that the hydroalcoholic extract of all plant species evaluated induced moderate ovicide activity at all the tested concentration, with emphasis on E. milii, which was the only plant species that presented significantly low toxicity in the concentration of 12.5 µL/mL when compared to the other species evaluated.

Hydrocarbon gases, especially toxic ones like benzene and xylene, pose threats to human health and the environment. But existing detection techniques, like bulky GC-MS or portable PID, cannot fulfill people's requirement of affordable and reliable hydrocarbons monitoring for the purpose of personal exposure assessment. Here, a simple, low cost, and light hydrocarbon gases sensor using a smartphone camera as a readout was developed based on the paper based milli-cantilever bending induced by polymer swelling. Its sensing cantilever was composed of three layers: functional layer of polyethylene film, adhesive layer of double-side tape, and a substrate of weighing paper. And the dimensions of the milli-fabricated sensing cantilever are 8 mm long, 0.5 mm wide, and 50 μm thick. The sensor response was the displacement of milli-cantilever free end. As proof of concept, its performance to typical hydrocarbons of xylene, hexane, and BTEX was carefully examined. For all of them, the sensor showed good performance of linear response to hydrocarbon concentrations, wide detection range, low detection, and fast response. Taking xylene for example, the sensor showed wide detection range of 15-140 ppm, low detection limit of 15 ppm, and fast response of 30 s. The sensor cross-sensitivity to other hydrocarbons was consistent with polymer swelling theory that the more carbons the hydrocarbon has, the higher the sensor sensitivity. Taking advantage of the rough materials chosen and simple fabrication procedure, the developed sensors also had high stability with time, low cost, and good uniformity. The developed sensor is affordable both physically and financially, has good performance, could meet hydrocarbons monitoring requirements for occupational safety or air pollution in petroleum industry, and would benefit people's health.

This article examines the constitutional and legal foundations of the formation and activities of the Milli Majlis (Parliament) of the Republic of Azerbaijan as a legislative body. As a result of research, the author emphasizes the role of transparent, democratic and fair parliamentary elections at the present stage of development of parliamentarism for the full expression of the interests of the people in legitimate legislative and indirect legislation, the need to restore the practice of mixed elections in the formation of the Milli Majlis. Considers it expedient to use blockchain technology in the elections to the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan by making appropriate changes to the current electoral legislation, and also puts forward other important scientific provisions and proposals aimed at forming and improving the constitutional and legal foundation of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Bu araştırma ilkokul 1-4. sınıflarda “Serbest Etkin-likler” uygulaması çerçevesinde okullarda neler yapıldığını ortaya koymak ve MEB tarafından bu uygulamaya geçilme gerekçeleri ile okullarda yapılan uygulamalar arasındaki uyumunu incelemek amacıyla, Ankara ilinde farklı ilçelerde yer alan iki okulda gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma örnek durum araştırması olup veriler, gözlem ve görüşmeler yo-luyla “Öğretmen Görüşme Formu” “Odak Grup Görüşme Formu” ve “Ders Gözlem Formu” vasıtasıyla toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde ‘betimsel analiz yöntemi’ kullanılmıştır.Elde edilen veriler sonucunda, en sık uygulanan et-kinlik kitap okuma iken en az yapılan etkinlikler şiir dinleme ve okuma, boyama etkinliği ile sınıf içi serbest faaliyetler olduğu görülmüştür. Serbest etkinlikler uygulaması çerçe-vesinde yapılan etkinliklerin farklı sınıf düzeylerinde değiş-mediği görülmüştür. Serbest etkinlikler uygulamasına ge-çilme gerekçeleri ile uygulamaların arasındaki benzerlik-lerden ziyade, farklılıkların fazla olduğu sonucuna ulaşıl-mıştır. Farklı sınıflarda görev yapan öğretmenlerin ve gö-rüşme yapılan öğrencilerin serbest etkinlikler uygulamasına ilişkin olumlu görüşte oldukları da belirlenmiştir., This research has been conducted conducted in two schools located in different districts of Ankara in order to demonstrate what is done in the context of the "Free Activities" in primary schools in grades 1-4 and to examine the compatibility between the reasons for adoption of this application by the Ministry of National Education and the practices implemented. The research is a case study and the data was collected through observation, interviews, "Teac-her Interview Form", "Focus Group Interview Form" and "Course Observation Form". In the analysis of the data, the descriptive analysis method was used.According to the obtained data it was seen that the most frequently used activities were reading books whereas those with the lowest frequency were poetry listening and reading, painting activities and classroom activities. It was found that the activities carried out under the framework of the “Free Activities” did not change at different grade le-vels. It was concluded that the differences between the rea-sons for adopting “free activities” and its practices were far from similarities. Besides, it also found out that was the teachers who worked in different classes and the students interviewed were of positive opinions about the application of free activities.

A clear and positive correlation between the CO2 concentration and the blood-sugar level has been observed via a non-invasive and time-dependent monitoring of CO2 concentration from human breath, which is carried out by using a home-made gas chromatography (GC)/milli-whistle compact analyzer. The time-dependent sampling of the CO2 concentration correlated between 5.0 to 5.6% (1% = 104 ppm) in accordance with blood-sugar level variations of 80 to 110 mg/dL. The analytical method results in a rapid, continuous and non-invasive determination of blood-sugar level via measurement of the CO2 concentration exhaled from the lungs.

Bu nedenle çalışmada din öğretiminde kültürel aidiyet ve sorumluluk bilinci kazanma amacına erişim düzeyini ölçen geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçme aracı geliştirmek amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmada Sivas ilinde öğrenim gören öğrencilerden veri toplanmıştır. Açımlayıcı faktör analizi ve güvenilirlik analizi için 366, doğrulayıcı faktör analizi için 457 öğrenciye ulaşılmıştır. Daha sonra örneklemden toplanan veriler kullanılarak açımlayıcı faktör analizi yapılmıştır. Analiz sonucunda 26 madde ve 4 faktörden oluşan bir yapı ortaya çıkmıştır. Ölçeğin toplamda açıkladığı varyans %48.208’dir. Ölçeğin Crombach Alfa iç tutarlık katsayısı ise 0.90’dır. Çalışma sonucunda ortaya çıkan modelin uyum indeksleri x2/sd=2.248, RMSEA=.052, RMR=.042, SRMR=.041, GFI=.901, AGFI=.880, CFI=.941, TLI=.934, IFI=.941 şeklindedir. Therefore, every society wants to introduce and adopt its culture to future generations. It is a social need to educate individuals who adapt to the society in which they live, recognize, adopt, protect and develop the culture of the society. It is unthinkable that this need is ignored by educational institutions. Therefore, the Ministry of National Education aims to transfer the culture of the society to the students through education. Turkey, the aim of winning the Muslim culture is adopted in religious education that made in imam hatip schools because it is a predominantly Muslim society. In other types of schools, it has the aim of to introduce Islamic culture. Therefore, it is aimed to develop a valid and reliable measurement tool that measures the level of access to the aim of gaining cultural belonging and responsibility awareness in religious education in study. In study, data were collected from students studying in Sivas. It was reached to 203 students for exploratory factor analysis and reliability analysis, 256 students for confirmatory factor analysis. Then, exploratory factor analysis was performed using the data collected from the sample. In a result of the analysis, a structure consisting of 26 items and 4 factors has emerged. The total variance explained by the scale is %48.208. Cronbach's alpha internal consistency coefficient of the scale is 0.90. In the result of study, the fit indices of model obtained are x2/sd=2.248, RMSEA=.052, RMR=.042, SRMR=.041, GFI=.901, AGFI=.880, CFI=.941, TLI=.934, IFI=.941. Relationship Between Culture, Art and Politics: The Example of North Cyprus Abstract This study reveals the relationship between art and politics and discusses the concepts of art, politics and culture. In the study, first of all, the concept of culture is presented with a historical perspective and followed by discussions on cultural policies. In light of these conceptual discussions, the relationship between art and politics has been discussed in a wide range. The main aim of this study is to examine the cultural relations of Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus as a concrete evaluation area. In this context, cultural policies in Northern Cyprus are studied in two stages. In the first phase of the study, in the light of the existing documents, cultural policies and the analysis of documents for pressure groups which are thought to be effective on current policies and content analysis were applied to these documents. In this context, the laws, communities and concrete examples of these laws and regulations are examined. At this stage, the activities of the Department of Culture and its affiliated communities in the last year have also been demonstrated. In addition, content analysis for the existing documents of 3 pressure groups, which were considered to be effective on cultural policies, was applied in the second stage of the study. In examining these pressure groups, political parties, universities and non-governmental organizations in the field of culture were discussed. In the second phase of the study, the analysis of cultural policies in Northern Cyprus was made by using the in-depth semi-structured interview technique. As a result of these interviews with officials representing 5 (five) different branches of art, a discussion has been made and these discussions have been re-examined within the framework of the existing laws. In the light of the information and documents obtained, the relationship between art and politics in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus has not been sufficiently integrated and it is stated that the existing branches of art and culture cannot find sufficient support. In this context, the necessity of revising and updating the cultural policies is important for the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. Calismada oncelikle kultur kavrami tarihsel bir bakis ile irdelenmistir. Bununla birlikte politika ve kultur sanat politikalari tartismalari ele alinmistir. Bu kavramsal tartismalar isiginda sanat siyaset iliskisi genis bir yelpazede ele alinmistir. Tum bu bilgiler ve tartismalarin somut bir degerlendirme alani olarak Kuzey Kibris Turk Cumhuriyeti sanat siyaset iliskisinin kulturel acidan incelenmesi calismanin temel amacini olusturmaktadir. Bu baglamda, Kuzey Kibris’ta kultur ve sanat politikalari calismada iki asamada incelenmistir. Calismanin ilk asamasinda mevcut belgeler isiginda kultur- sanat politikalari ve mevcut politikalar uzerinde etkili oldugu dusunulen baski gruplarina yonelik belge analizi ve bu belgelere icerik analizi uygulanmistir. Bu baglamda, calismada Kuzey Kibris Turk Cumhuriyeti Milli Egitim ve Kultur Bakanligi’na bagli Kultur Dairesi’nin yasalari, tuzukleri, topluluklari ile bu yasa ve tuzuklerin somut ornekleri irdelenmistir. Bu asamada Kultur Dairesi’nin ve bagli topluluklarin son 1 (bir) yil icerisindeki faaliyetleri de ayrica ortaya konmustur. Bunun yani sira calismanin ikinci asamasinda, kultur sanat politikalari uzerinde etkili oldugu dusunulen 3 (uc) baski grubunun mevcut belgelerine yonelik icerik analizi uygulanmistir. Bu baski gruplarinin incelenmesinde, siyasi partiler, universiteler ve kultur alanindaki sivil toplum kuruluslari ele alinmistir. Calismanin ikinci asamasinda ise Kuzey Kibris’ta kultur ve sanat politikalari incelemesi derinlemesine yapilan yari-yapilandirilmis gorusme teknigi kullanilarak gerceklestirilmistir. 5 (bes) farkli sanat dalini temsil eden yetkililerle yapilan bu gorusmeler sonucunda ortaya bir tartisma konmus ve bu tartismalar ise mevcut yasalar cercevesinde yeniden irdelenmistir. Edinilen bilgiler ve belgeler isiginda Kuzey Kibris Turk Cumhuriyeti’nde sanat siyaset iliskisi yeterli boyutta entegre olmamis ve mevcut sanat dallarinin yeterli destegi bulamadigi durumu ifade edilmistir. Bu baglamda kultur sanat politikalarinin yeniden gozden gecirilerek duzenlenmesi gerekliligi Kuzey Kibris Turk Cumhuriyeti icin onemini korumaktadir.

Osmanlı Devleti idaresinde belirli coğrafi bölge veya idari bütünlük dahilinde tanımlanmamış ve Fransız işgali döneminde ise “İskenderun Sancağı” olarak adlandırılmış olan Hatay’ın ana vatana ilhakı, ilgili kişi ve kuruluşlarla birlikte bizzat Mustafa Kemal Atatürk tarafından barışçı bir yöntemle gerçekleştirilmiştir. Hatay‘a yönelik takip olunan millî dış siyaset, Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Devleti’nin diplomasi tarihi açısından üstün bir başarı olmakla birlikte, sonuçlandırılma biçimi bakımından örnek alınacak bir olaydır. Türk dış politikasının 1936 ve 1939 yılları arasında Fransız hükûmetleri özelinde meşguliyetini teşkil eden Hatay sorunu, bu süreçte Türk-Fransız münasebetlerinde gerginliğe de sebebiyet vermiştir. Bu münasebetlerin dış politika esası, Türk millî dış siyasetinin gelişim evrelerinin hassasiyetlerini göstermektedir. Avrupa bunalımları karşısında Suriye-Lübnan’la ilişkilerini yeniden düzenlemek isteyen Fransız Hükûmeti ile uzun görüşmeler yapılmış, 9 Eylül 1936’da Suriye-Fransa arasında bir bağımsızlık antlaşması imzalanmıştır. Fransa’nın, bu antlaşmaya dayanarak Suriye’ye, Kasım ayında da Lübnan’a bağımsızlık vermesi, Türk hükûmeti nazarında Suriye meselesini tekrar gündeme taşımıştır. Fransa’nın, Suriye’den çekilirken Sancak’la ilgili bütün yetkilerini Suriye’ye devretmesi Türkiye’yi harekete geçirmiştir. Bu mesele 1936 ve 1939 yılları arasında Türk-Fransız münasebetlerinde de birtakım problemlerin yaşanmasına sebep olmuştur. Fransa, Türkiye’nin Hatay konusundaki isteklerinin kabul edileceğini belirtince 23 Haziran 1939’da Türk-İngiliz ittifakının bir benzeri Fransa ile de imzalanmıştır. Bu bağlamda, The Times’ta yer verilen kayıtlar ışığında Fransa, işgalle ele geçirdiği ve Milletler Cemiyeti kararıyla mandater tayin edildiği Hatay‘ı kayıtsız şartsız Türkiye’ye devretmiştir. Bu makalede öncelikle mesele özelindeki diplomatik gelişmeler, İngiltere’nin önde gelen yayın kuruluşlarından The Times gazetesinin üzerinden değerlendirilecektir. The Annexation of Hatay to Homeland According to ‘The Times’ (1938-1939) Abstract The annexation of Hatay which was not defined as a specific administrative integrity or geographical region in the administration of the Ottoman State, but in the period of French occupation called as “Sanjak of Iskenderun” and in 1936, called as Hatay by Atatürk, to homeland was carried out by Atatürk personally with the related persons and organizations in a peaceful way. The national foreign policy followed in Hatay, was an event that will be exemplary in terms of finalizing the format, besides an outstanding success in terms of Turkey’s diplomatic history. Between 1936 and 1939, the Hatay issue which occupies the Turkish foreign policy, in particular in the context of the French governments has caused tension in Turkish-French relations. The foreign policy of these relations shows the sensitivities of the development stages of Turkish national foreign policy. In the face of European crises, long talks has been held with the French Government, which wanted to reorganize its relations with Syria-Lebanon, and on September 9, 1936, a treaty of independence was signed between Syria and France. The fact that France granted independence to Syria based on this treaty and to Lebanon in November brought the question of Syria back to the agenda of the Turkish government. The transfer of all relevant powers related to Hatay to Syria, while France withdraw from Syria has put Turkey into motion. This issue created tension in Turkish-French relations from 1936 to 1939. After stated the approval of the requests of Turkey about Hatay by France, in June 1939, a similar to Turkish-British alliance was also signed with France. In this context, in the light of records located in The Times, France, seizing Hatay with the occupation and was appointed as mandatory by the League of Nations decision, handed over Hatay unconditionally to Turkey. In this article, first of all, diplomatic developments in the field will be evaluated through the Times newspaper, one of the leading publishing companies in the UK. ÖZETOsmanlı’damodern devleti inşa etme düşüncesi Tanzimat ile kapsamlı bir içerik taşır.Tanzimat ile birlikte, siyasal, yönetsel, hukuksal, ekonomik ve sosyo-kültürelyapıların, modern devlet paradigması içerisinde, bir değişimi öngörülmüştür. Budönemde güçlü merkezi bir devlet kurmak, bu eksende birçok farklı unsurubütünleştirmek ve yurttaşlık kimliği oluşturmak amacıyla düzenlemeler yapılmış,taşrayı merkeze bağlayıcı yönetsel ve hukuksal araçlar inşa edilmiştir.Meşrutiyet dönemi İttihatçı aktörler bu düşünceyi etkili bir biçimde devamettirmiş, milli kimliği yaratıcı politikalar ve araçlar etkili bir biçimdekullanılmaya çalışılmıştır. Erken Cumhuriyet dönemi kurucu aktörleri ise moderndevlet bağlamında kapsamlı reformlar yapmış, modern ulus devleti kurucuaraçları radikal bir biçimde inşa etmiştir. Bu dönemde güçlü bir modern devletiçin merkeziyetçilik, laiklik, halkçılık, milli kimlik önemli görülendinamikler olmuştur. Bu çalışma, Tanzimattan Erken Cumhuriyete modern devletininşa sürecini siyasal, kurumsal, hukuksal ve toplumsal bir perspektif ilesüreklilik ve kopuş noktaları üzerinden tartışmayı denemektedir. Dönemselolarak, modern devlet felsefesini/paradigmasını biçimlendiren reformlar farklıdinamikler üzerinden tartışılmaya çalışılmıştır. We describe the design of a neutron activator that contains a beryllium target, a lead/bismuth moderator, graphite/PbF2 reflectors, and a boron absorber. Production of the 99Mo isotope using millimeter-sized 98Mo samples located in various regions of the activator was simulated using the MCNPX code. Sınıf Öğretmenlerinin İş Doyumu ve İş Yaşamındaki Yalnızlık Düzeylerinin İncelenmesi ÖZBu çalışmanın temel amacı; Millî Eğitim Bakanlığına bağlı devlet okullarda görev yapan sınıf öğretmenlerinin iş doyumu ve iş yaşamındaki yalnızlık düzeylerinin incelenmesidir. Çalışmada ayrıca cinsiyet, medeni durum ve mesleki kıdem gibi çeşitli değişkenlerle iş doyumu ve iş yaşamında yalnızlık arasındaki ilişkiler incelenmiştir. Araştırma 2017-2018 eğitim-öğretim yılında Kırşehir ve Erzurum il merkezlerinde bulunan toplam 415 sınıf öğretmeni üzerinde yürütülmüştür. İlişkisel tarama modelinde tasarlanmış araştırmada verilerin toplanması için Kişisel Bilgi Formu, Minnesota İş Doyum Ölçeği ve İş Yaşamında Yalnızlık Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler paket veri programına girilerek üzerinde istatistiksel işlemler yapılmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında öğretmenlerin yüksek düzey iş doyumu ve içsel doyuma, orta düzey dışsal doyuma sahip oldukları tespit edilmiştir. İş doyumu ile cinsiyet, medeni durum ve mesleki kıdem değişkenleri arasında anlamlı bir farklılık olmadığı sonuçlarına ulaşılmıştır. Öğretmenlerin düşük düzey iş yaşamında yalnızlık, duygusal yoksunluk ve sosyal arkadaşlığa sahip oldukları tespit edilmiştir. İş yaşamında yalnızlık ile medeni durum arasında anlamlı bir farklılık olmadığı sonuçlarına ulaşılmıştır. Ancak öğretmenlerin cinsiyet ve mesleki kıdemlerinin yalnızlık düzeylerini ve alt boyutlarını istatistiksel olarak etkiledikleri tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca sınıf öğretmenlerinin iş doyumu ile iş yaşamında yalnızlıkları arasında negatif yönde yüksek düzeyde ve istatistiksel açıdan anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. An Investıgatıon of Elementary Teachers’ Job Satısfactıon and Lonelıness Levels in Work Lıfe ABSTRACT This study aimed to determine elementary teachers’ job satisfaction and loneliness in workplace who work in public schools. Besides, influence of gender, marital status and teaching experience, on teachers’ job satisfaction and loneliness in the workplace were investigated in this study. The study included 415 elementary teachers who work in public schools located in Kırşehir and Erzurum in the 2017-2018 educational year. Personal information form, Minnesota Job Satisfaction Scale, and Loneliness in the Workplace Scale were used to collect data in this casual-comparative survey research. The collected data were input in the data processing program and analyzed by using relevant statistical method. Results of the study showed that elementary teachers had high levels of job satisfaction and internal satisfaction, and middle level of external satisfaction. Besides, it was found that gender, marital status and teaching experience did not influence their job satisfaction. It was revealed that teachers had low level of loneliness in the workplace, emotional loneliness and social friendship. Marital status did not influence teachers’ loneliness in the workplace. However, it was found that gender and teaching experience of teachers statistically influenced sub-dimensions and loneliness of teachers. Moreover, this study showed that there was a negative high correlation between job satisfaction and loneliness in the workplace of elementary teachers.

This study addresses the scalability of in-house designed, and 3D printed structured porous reactors for liquid-liquid reactions. The base structure of these porous reactors consists of cylindrical fibres in defined geometrical arrangements. Their scale-up was realized by increasing the reactor diameter by a factor of 1.5 and 2 respectively while keeping the fibre dimensions constant. Also, the effect of altering the fibre dimensions in proportion to the scale-up factor was assessed. The reactors were characterized in terms of their biphasic heat and mass transfer properties. In this study, reconstruction activities in Cyprus were investigated according to the information given in the El-Hac Es-Sayyid Mehmet Ağa Foundation (1826). El-Hac Es-Seyyid Mehmet Ağa was a former guardian in Ottoman Palace (İstanbul) who was appointed as a tax officer Cyprus in the early 19th century. Seyyid Mehmet Aga, during his stay in Cyprus constructed Mosque, Tekke, Mescit, and schools and he has foundations related to these structures. These foundations are available in the TRNC Vakıflar Administration, TRNC Girne National Archives and Research Department, Republic of Turkey Directorate General of Foundations Achieves. Most of the Islamic buildings registered in the Seyyid Mehmet Ağa foundation are made up of the pre-existing, inadequate and ruined structures re-constructed and brought to the use of the Muslim Turkish Cypriot people. Nicosia Dükkanlarönü Mosque, Fethiye Mosque, Tahtakale Mosque, Lapta Mosque and Famagusta Kutup Osman Efendi Tomb are the architectural venues where the Turkish Cypriot Islamic culture has been performed and it is understood from archival documents that they are supported by various mites and foundations. Within the scope of the study, prior and restructuring processes of these structures were determined and findings were made about the current situation. These structures are the living documents of the Ottoman Period in Cyprus over 300 years, which describe the structuring of the Islam and Ottoman identity in island. These structures are important documents of the Turkish Cypriot Islamic Heritage. Due to political changing over time they lost their incomes and original shapes.ÖzBu çalışmada 19, yüzyıl başlarında Kıbrıs’a muhassıl olarak atanan Dergâh-ı Âli Kapıcı başlarından El-Hac Es- Seyyid Mehmet Ağanın 1826 tarihli Vakfiyelerinde geçen bilgilere bağlı olarak Kıbrıs’taki imar faaliyetleri incelenmiştir. Kıbrıs’ta bulunduğu süre zarfında Cami, Tekke, Mescit, Sıbyan Mektebi yaptıran Seyyid Mehmet Ağa’nın bu yapılar ile ilgili vakfiyeleri mevcuttur. Bu vakfiyeler KKTC Vakıflar İdaresinde, KKTC Girne Milli Arşiv ve Araştırma Dairesinde, TC Vakıflar Genel Müdürlüğü ve TC Başbakanlık Osmanlı Arşivlerinde bulunmaktadır. Seyyid Mehmet Ağa vakfiyesinde kayıtlı bulunan İslami eserlerin çoğu önceden var olan, yetersiz ve harap durumda olan yapıların yeniden düzenlemelerle genişletilip Müslüman Türk halkının kullanımına kazandırılmış yapılardır. Seyyid Mehmet Ağa’nın yeniden yaptırmış olduğu Lefkoşa Dükkânlar Önü Camii, Fethiye Camii, Tahtakale Camii, Lapta Camii ve Mağusa Kutup Osman Efendi Türbesi Kıbrıs Türk İslam kültürünün icra edildiği mimari mekânlar olup çeşitli akarlar ve vakıflar ile desteklenmiş oldukları arşiv belgelerinden anlaşılmaktadır.Çalışma kapsamında söz konusu yapıların önceden ve yeniden yaptırılma süreçleri belirlenerek günümüzdeki durumları hakkında tespitler yapılmıştır. Osmanlı Hâkimiyetinin adada var olduğu 300 yılı aşkın zaman diliminde, gerek devlet eli gerekse adada görev alan memurlar sayesinde Kıbrıs’ta İslam ve Osmanlı kimliğinin yapılandırılarak etkisinin genişletildiğini anlatan ve Osmanlı Devleti’nin Kıbrıs’ta yaşayan belgeleri niteliğinde olan bu yapılar, Kıbrıs Türk İslam Mirasının vazgeçilmeyen önemli ögeleridir. Zaman içerisinde değişen siyasal yapıya bağlı olarak gelirleri kesilen ve terk edilen bu eserler bakımsızlık nedeni ile orijinal hallerini yitirmişerdir.

In the past decades, wireless milli and micro devices have been incorporated into medical procedures as a way to reduce invasiveness. However, the commercially available methods still consist of passive locomotion devices, which is a limiting factor to the development of minimally invasive devices. Magnetism simplifies the design of small-scale devices since it does not require on-board batteries or motors. This review presents locomotion techniques and features using magnetic actuation towards minimally invasive procedures. Requirements, advantages, and challenges are discussed.

Milli/microrobots benefit from their small size and can perform minimally invasive surgery in a limited tissue space and eliminate the need for fine operations such as thrombus, which not only reduces trauma to patients but also shortens the recovery period after surgery. In order to realize motion control of the milli/microrobot at a small scale, the external magnetic field-based control method has a significant advantage of wireless connection, safety, and high efficiency compared to other external actuation ways. Aiming at the actuation of milli/microrobots in human tissue fluid during a medical operation, we designed a milli/microrobot magnetic actuation system called RectMag3D, which is based on rectangular electromagnetic coils. It can realize five-degree-of-freedom motion control of milli/microrobot in three-dimensional space. It has the advantage of the accurate modeling of a magnetic field from each rectangular coil. Therefore, accurate control can be achieved. In this paper, the design and modeling of the proposed system have been introduced. A linear programming algorithm has been applied to achieve fixed-point actuation and displacement actuation. Experiments show that the milli/microrobot can realize the steering and linear motion to the target point in any direction in the limited working space under the control of the magnetic actuation system.

This research aims to investigate the relation between self-regulation skills of pre-school students and the effect of parental attitudes. The subjects of this study consist of 155 children, 79 girls and 76 boys, who were going to the pre-school education institutions affiliated to the Bartın Provincial National Education Directorate and their parents. In order to determine the self regulation skills of the children the “Pre-school Self Regulation Scale” has been applied to the children individually, and to determine the attitudes of the parents the “Family Attitude Inventory” has been used to collect the data. Since there has been no distribution of normality encountered in the test of normality, the Mann-Whitney U test has been used in the two group comparisons, for the correlation between the variables, the Spearman’s rank correlation coefficient has been used. The significance level has been determined as 0,05. As a conclusion, no significant correlation has been detected between the attention/impulse control and positive feeling scores, which are sub-dimensions of self regulation skills, and the sub-dimensions and total score’s of family attitudes inventory. It can be obviously seen that especially the attention and impulse sub dimensions of the pre-school girl students in the experimental group have been more developed and that these children show high self-regulation skills in this sub dimension. It was determined that the parents of the study group had the highest attitudes to identify with their children, followed by social mobility, democratic attitudes and compliance behaviors.ÖzBu çalışmada, okul öncesi periyodundaki çocukların öz düzenleme becerileri ile anne-baba tutumları arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesi hedeflenmiştir. Çalışma grubunu Bartın İli Millî Eğitim Müdürlüğü’ne bağlı anasınıflarına devam eden 79 kız 76 erkek olmak üzere toplam 155 çocuk ve bu çocukların anne-babaları oluşturmuştur. Verilerin toplanmasında çocukların öz düzenleme becerilerinin belirlenmesinde “Okul Öncesi Öz Düzenleme Ölçeği”, annelerin ve babaların çocuk yetiştirme tutumlarının belirlenmesinde “Aile Tutum Envanteri” kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde, puanlar normal dağılım göstermedikleri için iki gruplu karşılaştırmalarda Mann-Whitney U testi, değişkenler arasındaki ilişkide Spearman’s Brown korelasyon analizinden yararlanılmıştır. Anlamlılık seviyesi olarak 0,05 kullanılmıştır. Çalışma sonucunda; Okul Öncesi Öz Düzenleme Ölçeği Dikkat/Dürtü Kontrolü ve Olumlu Duygu alt boyutları puanı ile Aile Tutum Envanteri alt boyutları ve toplam puanları arasında anlamlı bağlantı bulunmamıştır. Çalışma grubundaki kız çocukların özellikle Dikkat/Dürtü alt boyutu puanlarının daha fazla olduğu, çocukların dikkat/dürtü alanında yüksek düzeyde öz düzenleme becerileri gösterdikleri belirlenmiştir. Çalışma grubundaki anne-babaların, çocuklarıyla özdeşim kurma davranışlarının en yüksek düzeyde olduğu ve bunu sosyal hareketlilik, demokratik tutum ve uyma davranışının izlediği belirlenmiştir.

OZET Bu calismanin amaci Turkiye’ye gelen turist sayisinin ekonomiye etkisini incelemektir. Calismada Vektor Otoregresif (VAR) modeli, Dickey -Fuller (ADF), Phillips- Perron (PP) birim kok testleri, Johansen es - butunsellik ve Granger nedensellik testleri kullanilmistir. Calisma, 1963 - 2015 yillari arasindaki gelen turist sayisi, Gayri Safi Yurt Ici Hasila (GSYIH) ve GSYIH buyume hizi degiskenleri kullanilarak yapilmistir. Calismanin bulgulari, gelen turist sayisi, GSYIH ve GSYIH buyume orani arasinda es butunsellik oldugunu gostermektedir. Bu sonuc turizm ve ekonomi arasinda uzun donemli bir iliskiye isaret etmektedir. Granger nedensellik testinden elde edilen bulgular gelen turist sayisinin GSYIH ve GSYIH buyume oranini tek yonlu etkiledigini, tersi bir etkilesimin olmadigi gostermektedir. Bu sonuc Turizm Gudumlu Iktisadi Buyume (TGIB) hipotezini desteklemektedir. Calisma, ayni zamanda, milli gelire ve ekonomik buyumeye uzun donemli katkisi bulunan turizm sektorunun ekonomik kalkinmada daha etkin rol oynayabilmesi icin sektor temsilcilerinin ve politika yapicilarin birlikte surdurulebilir turizm politikalari uretmesi gerektigini de ortaya koymaktadir. Abstract The objective of this paper is to examine the impact of number of tourists on the economic growth of Turkey. In this paper, the Vector Autoregressive (VAR) model, Augmented Dickey-Fuller, (ADF), Phillips-Perron (PP) unit root tests, Johansen cointegration and Granger causality tests were used. The data covers the period from 1963 to 2015 for the number of tourist arrivals (NT), Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and GDP growth rate (GDPGR) variables. Thus, the existence of cointegration among the variables of number of tourist arrivals, Gross Domestic Product and GDP growth rate indicates that there is a long-run relationship among these variables. The findings of Granger causality test indicate the existence of unidirectional causality from the number of tourist arrivals to GDP and GDP growth rate but not vice versa. Hence, the results are in support of tourism-led growth hypothesis for the Turkish economy rather than the growth-led tourism hypothesis. Meanwhile, the findings of this paper have an important contribution for better understanding the role of tourism on the economic growth of Turkey.
