Chia and basil seeds are a plant-based source that possess unique characteristic, including the ability to form a gel when hydrated due to polysaccharide layer on outer seeds can absorb water This property can be applied to food products that may easily suffer texture damage such as yogurt. Therefore, further research is needed to determine the potential of chia and basil seeds as a hydrocolloid source that can affect yogurt characteristics and total lactic acid bacteria (LAB). Chia and basil seeds in this study were each processed into two treatments: flour and hydration of whole seeds (1:30). Each treatment was added to yogurt formulation with concentration: 0, 1, 2, and 3% (w/v), then evaluated by preference test to determine selected formulation. Two formulations that were organoleptically preferred by panelists were yogurt with hydrated chia 2% and hydrated basil 3% according to hedonic rating test. The selected formulations were proximate content analysis, syneresis, viscosity, and total LAB. The addition of chia and basil seeds into yoghurt had significant effects on syneresis and viscosity at a significance level of 5%. The syneresis of yogurt with hydrated chia 2% was 1.37±0.21% while the syneresis of yogurt with hydrated basil 3% was 0.58±0.05% which was lower than control 2.44±0.24%. Viscosity of yogurt with hydrated chia 2% was 3808.33±38.19 cP and yogurt with hydrated basil 3% was 4175.00±25.00 cP, which was higher than control 3116.67±28.87 cP. Total LAB in chia yogurt reaching 1.1×109 CFU/g and basil yogurt reaching 1.2×109 CFU/g was higher than control 8.7×107 CFU/g. Overall, the addition of chia and basil seeds improved the quality of yogurt.

Purpose: The primary objective of this study is to uncover the complex relationship between cryptocurrency prices and significant global events that transpired within the past five years. These events encompass a wide spectrum, including political and global health crises, the public disclosure of multinational enterprises' investments in cryptocurrencies, and the influence of macroeconomic indicators. Beyond the exclusive focus on Bitcoin, this study adopts a more comprehensive approach encompassing various cryptocurrencies. Design/methodology/approach: This study examines the effects of the disclosure of cryptocurrency adoption plans by major corporations, the Russian-Ukraine war, Covid-19, Inflation rate, and Economic policy uncertainty within the U.S., U.K., and E.U on cryptocurrency prices (Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Binance coin) using a structural equation model over the past five years. Findings: Our findings provided several compelling insights. Most notably, during the study period major corporations’ adoption of cryptocurrencies positively influenced their price. Furthermore, a negative and significant association emerges between cryptocurrency prices and periods marked by economic policy uncertainty and inflation rates in the countries under investigation (U.S., U.K., and E.U). The results are robust under variations in sample composition and changes in sets of variables. Originality/value: The study uncovered the complex relationship between cryptocurrency price fluctuations and significant global events that transpired within the past five years by taking the factors identified in previous literature as a whole and adding new variables that are not well studied, such as the effect of Russian-Ukraine War and multinational corporations revealing cryptocurrency adoption intention on the prices of cryptocurrencies. This study represents a pivotal contribution by bridging a crucial research void and providing theoretical insights into the legal considerations to be undertaken by policymakers, and informed investment practices by traders, and corporate leaders.

Abstract Introduction Diarrhea is a common public health problem and the third leading cause of death in the world among children under the age of five years. An estimated 2 billion cases and 1.9 million deaths are recorded among children under the age of five years every year. It causes body fluid loss and electrolyte imbalance. Even though, early initiation of recommended homemade fluid is a simple and effective approach to prevent diarrhea-related complications and mortality of children, recommended homemade fluid utilization for the treatment of diarrhea is still low in sub-Saharan African countries. Therefore, this study aimed to assess the magnitude of recommended homemade fluid utilization for the treatment of diarrhea and associated factors among children under five in sub-Saharan African countries. Method The most recent Demographic and Health Survey dataset of 21 sub-Saharan African countries from 2015 to 2022 was used for data analysis. A total of 33,341 participants were included in this study as a weighted sample. Associated factors were determined using a multilevel mixed-effects logistic regression model. Our analysis employed the life-course approach to examine whether and how mental health during the preschool stage could predict mental health during adolescence in the Thai context, where migration of parents is common. We used the longitudinal data set of the 2008 and 2021 Child Health and Migrant Parents (CHAMPSEA)-Thailand. The baseline survey of CHAMSEA-Thailand gathered data from 1030 households that met the eligibility criteria, each having a child within one of the two specified age ranges (aged 3–5 or 9–11). Our analysis used the baseline data of children aged 3 to 5 years old who were 16 to 18 years old in the subsequent survey (N = 404). In both surveys, the mental health of children was measured using the SDQ (total difficulties scores), a global standard tool for assessing children's mental health. Parental migration measured whether the parent(s) were international migrants when the child was 3 to 5 years old at the baseline. Results showed a significant, positive impact of the SDQ total difficulties scores of children aged 3 to 5 on their SDQ total difficulties scores when they grew up to 16 to 18 years old. Findings also revealed that experiencing parental international migration during the early life stage led to adverse effects on individuals' mental health when they became adolescents.

This study investigates the influence of a country’s financial access and stability and the adoption of retail central bank digital currencies (CBDCs) across 71 countries. Using an ordinal logit model, we examine how individual financial access, the ownership of credit cards, financing accessibility by firms, offshore loans, financial sanctions, and the ownership structure of financial institutions influence the probability of CBDC adoption in nations. These findings reveal that nations facing financial sanctions and those with substantial offshore bank loans are more inclined to adopt CBDCs. Furthermore, a significant relationship is observed in countries where many people have restricted financial access, indicating heightened interest in CBDC adoption. Interestingly, no statistically significant relationship was found between the adoption of CBDCs and the percentage of foreign-owned banks in each country. The results show that countries with low financial stability and financial access adopt CBDCs faster. This study expands our knowledge of how a nation’s financial situation influences its adoption of CBDCs. The results provide important and relevant insights into the current discussion of the direction of global finance.

As the aging population grows, examining attitudes and intentions toward joining the aging workforce is of greater importance. This study examines factors influencing Southern Thai college students’ attitudes and intentions to join the aging workforce. A cross-sectional survey was conducted among 412 undergraduate students from three universities in the region. The survey measured attitudes, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control, and intention to be older workers based on the theory of planned behavior using a 5-point Likert scale. The data were analyzed using the path analysis technique. The findings indicated significant associations between attitudes, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control, and intentions to be older workers among college students. Attitudes toward older workers positively influenced subjective norms (β = 0.71, p = 0.001), and perceived behavioral control also had a significant impact on subjective norms (β = 0.11, p = 0.05) and on the intention to be older workers (β = 0.23, p < 0.05). Subjective norms, in turn, positively influenced intentions to be older workers (β = 0.42, p < 0.001). In conclusion, this study highlights the importance of attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control as factors in influencing college students’ intention to join the aging workforce. ABSTRACTBackground: In low- and middle-income countries where vaccination rates are low, tetanus is still an important threat to public health. Although maternal and neonatal tetanus remains a major global health concern, its magnitude and determinates are not well studied. Therefore, this study aimed to assess the number of tetanus toxoid injections and associated factors among pregnant women in low- and middle-income countries.Methods: Data from the most recent Demographic and Health Surveys, which covered 60 low- and middle-income countries from 2010 to 2022, was used for secondary data analysis. The study included a total of 118,704 pregnant women. A statistical software package, STATA 14, was used to analyze the data. A negative binomial regression of a cross-sectional study was carried out. Factors associated with the number of tetanus vaccinations were declared significant at a p-value of < 0.05. The incidence rate ratio and confidence interval were used to interpret the results. A model with the smallest Akaike Information Criterion and Bayesian Information Criterion values and the highest log likelihood was considered the best-fit model for this study.Results: In low- and middle-income countries, 26.0% of pregnant women took at least two doses of the tetanus toxoid vaccine. Factors such as maternal education, primary (IRR = 1.22, 95% CI: 1.17, 1.26), secondary (IRR = 1.19, 95% CI: 1.15, 1.23), higher (IRR = 1.16, 95% CI: 1.12, 1.20), employment (IRR = 1.11, 95% CI: 1.09, 1.13), 1-3 ANC visits (IRR = 2.49, 95% CI: 2.41, 2.57), ≥4 visits (IRR = 2.94, 95% CI: 2.84, 3.03), wealth index (IRR = 1.06; 95% CI: 11.04, 1.08), ≥birth order (IRR = 1.04, 95% CI: 1.02, 1.27), distance to health facility (IRR = 1.02, 95% CI: 1.00, 1.03), and health insurance coverage (IRR = 1.08; 95% CI: 1.06, 1.10) had a significant association with the number of tetanus vaccinations among pregnant women.Conclusions and recommendations: This study concludes that the number of tetanus toxoid vaccinations among pregnant women in low- and middle-income countries is low. In the negative binomial model, the frequency of tetanus vaccinations has a significant association with maternal employment, educational status, wealth index, antenatal care visits, birth order, distance from a health facility, and health insurance. Therefore, the ministries of health in low and middle-income countries should give attention to those women who had no antenatal care visits and women from poor wealth quantiles while designing policies and strategies.

IntroductionPreterm birth is the leading cause of both infant and neonatal mortality. It also had long-term consequences for the physical and neurological development of a growing child. The majority of these and related problems occur in low- and middle-income countries, particularly in sub-Saharan Africa, due to resource scarcity to sustain the lives of premature babies. Despite this, there is a paucity of recent information on the pooled prevalence and factors associated with preterm birth in sub-Saharan Africa. Therefore, this study aimed to update the pooled prevalence and determinants of preterm birth in sub-Saharan Africa based on the most recent Demographic and Health Survey data.MethodsA cross-sectional study design using the most recent demographic and health survey data from eight sub-Saharan African countries was used. We included a total weighted sample of 74,871 reproductive-aged women who gave birth in the five years preceding the survey. We used a multilevel logistic regression model to identify associated factors of preterm birth in sub-Saharan Africa. The adjusted odds ratio at 95% Cl was computed to assess the strength and significance of the association between explanatory and outcome variables. Factors with a p-value of ResultsIn this study, the pooled prevalence of preterm birth among reproductive-aged women in eight sub-Saharan African countries was 3.11% (95% CI: 2.98-3.25). Working mothers (AOR = 0.61; 95% CI: 0.38-0.97), being married (AOR = 0.63; 95% CI: 0.40-0.99), and having media exposure (AOR = 0.59; 95% CI: 0.36-0.96) decrease the odds of preterm birth. On the other hand, being low birth weight (AOR = 17.7; 95% CI: 10.7-29.3), having multiple pregnancies (AOR = 3.43; 95% CI: 1.82-6.45), having a history of terminated pregnancies (AOR = 1.56; 95% CI: 1.01-2.41), being un-educated (AOR = 3.16; 95% CI: 1.12-8.93), being of a maternal age above 35 (AOR = 1.63; 95% CI: 1.08-2.45), maternal alcohol use (AOR = 19.18; 95% CI: 13.6-38.8), and being in the low socio-economic status (AOR = 1.85; 95% CI: 1.11-3.07) of the community increase the odds of preterm birth.ConclusionThe burden of preterm birth among reproductive-age women in sub-Saharan Africa showed improvements as compared to previous findings. To further lessen the burden, policymakers and other pertinent organizations must prioritize maternal health, expand media access, educate and empower women, and promote a healthy lifestyle for reproductive-age women.

AbstractRisk disclosure is one of the practices of corporate governance. Disclosure of risk is an important aspect of a company’s financial reporting since it provides information on how various risks can occur, the company’s response to these risks, and the impact these risks have on the company’s future. By sharing risk information, the corporation has attempted to be more transparent in delivering information to its stakeholders. Based on risk disclosure information, stakeholders are anticipated to make better judgments. This study aimed to examine the influence of audit committee characteristics on risk disclosure. This analysis includes 202 bank statements from 2017 to 2021, the observation period for banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Regression was used for data extracted from annual reports, corporate governance reports, and company websites. The results demonstrated that the audit committee’s expertise positively impacted risk disclosure. Risk disclosure is unaffected by the size and frequency of the audit committee. The audit committee plays a crucial role in providing information regarding risks; therefore, the corporation must pay close attention to the audit committee’s quality. The knowledge of audit committees with a background in accounting or financial education can promote risk disclosure.

Grit, the passion for achieving long-term goals, has been conceived as a two-dimensional construct (Consistency of interest and Perseverance of effort). The construct is well known for its easy measurement and its relationship with performance, including academic performance. However, there have been different criticisms, such as the overlap of grit with other personality characteristics, the variability in the psychometric structure of the Grit-O and Grit-S tests, and the fact that some work reports a weak influence of grit on academic performance. Within this framework, this study contrasts different psychometric structures of the Grit-S scale and its relationship with the academic performance of higher education students. So, with this purpose, a dichotomous model of high and low grit, a K-medias clustering model, and three structural equation models have been tested. The results indicate that (a) there is a statistically significant relationship between grit--mainly determined by the consistency dimension--and academic performance, although it decreases when controlling for contextual variables, and (b) Consistency mediates the relationship between Perseverance and academic performance. The instability of grit to predict performance is discussed, and the thesis of a two-sub-dimensional structure is supported.

Currently, the study of non-cognitive variables and their effect on the academic performance of students has gained relevance. In view of that, the purpose of the present study was to analyze through structural equation modeling to what extent growth mindset, self-efficacy, and grit have direct effects on student performance. For this, an explanatory design of latent variables was followed, in which 305 university students participated, including men (41.8%) and women (58.2%), who reported an average age of 22.8 (SD = 3.5), all included due to convenience. To measure the independent variables, the ITIS (growth mindset), Grit-S (tenacity) and EPAESA (academic self-efficacy) were applied, while for the measurement of the dependent variable, the grades of the students of the two last semesters were used. Among the main findings, it is reported that growth mindset, grit, and self-efficacy have direct and significant effects on the academic performance of students. In conclusion, this set of non-cognitive variables successfully explains the academic performance of the study participants.

Kantin sehat berperan penting dalam penyediaan makanan bergizi untuk mempertahankan daya tahan tubuh dari berbagai penyakit. Mahasiswa pendidikan dokter membutuhkan kantin sebagai tempat pembelian makanan di sela istirahat perkuliahan dan aktivitas lain yang padat. Sayangnya, kantin di kampus Madang Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Sriwijaya (FK UNSRI) belum dikategorikan sebagai kantin sehat, dan ditutup semenjak pandemi. Pengembangan model kantin sehat menjadi hal yang penting, dan membutuhkan dukungan institusi. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian observasional deskriptif, yang bertujuan mengidentifikasi pengetahuan tentang kantin sehat, persepsi tentang kantin yang tersedia sebelumnya, dan sikap mahasiswa FK UNSRI terhadap pengembangan kantin sehat di kampus. Seluruh mahasiswa aktif angkatan 2018 dan 2019 Program Studi Pendidikan Dokter yang beraktivitas di Kampus Madang, pernah mengonsumsi makanan di kantin kampus, dan bersedia menandatangani formulir kesediaan partisipasi diambil sebagai responden penelitian. Teknik pengambilan sampel insidental, dan pengambilan data dilakukan menggunakan Google Form. Total responden yang berpartisipasi sebanyak 219 orang. Sebanyak 114 responden (52.1%) memiliki pengetahuan baik tentang kantin sehat, dan sisanya masuk dalam kategori kurang baik. Sebagian besar responden (94 orang/42.9%) memiliki persepsi bahwa kantin yang selama ini tersedia sudah Baik. Sebagian besar mahasiswa menyatakan Setuju-Sangat Setuju terhadap inisiatif pengembangan kantin sehat (196 orang/ 89.5%). Sebagian besar setuju bahwa keterlibatan mahasiswa dalam penyelenggaraan kantin sehat adalah penting (164 orang/ 55%), namun ternyata sebagian besar tidak berminat untuk terlibat (135 orang/ 61.6%). Gambaran pengetahuan, persepsi, dan sikap mahasiswa pada penelitian ini dapat dijadikan pertimbangan dalam pengembangan kantin sehat di kampus.

INTRODUCCIÓN: En muchas sociedades alrededor del mundo existe una creencia que relaciona el ciclo lunar con la frecuencia de nacimientos, especialmente debido a la influencia de la luna llena. Aunque la mayoría de los estudios no encuentran relación entre las diferentes fases lunares y la frecuencia de partos espontáneos, sigue existiendo esta creencia incluso entre profesionales de la salud. OBJETIVO: Demostrar el aumento de porcentaje de nacimientos por partos espontáneos durante la luna llena comparado con las otras fases, describir el porcentaje de nacimientos en cada fase lunar, mencionar la distribución de nacimientos según sexo, mostrar la distribución de nacimientos según edad gestacional, conocer cantidad de trabajos de parto terminados en cesárea o en parto vaginal y registrar las complicaciones en cada fase lunar. MATERIAL Y MÉTODO: Estudio de cohorte, retrospectivo, observacional y analítico. La población está constituida por embarazadas que ingresen a nuestra Institución en trabajo de parto espontáneo. El tiempo comprendido es entre el 01/01/2021 hasta el 31/01/2022. Los datos se obtienen del Libro de parto del Servicio de Tocoginecología de la Clínica. El análisis de datos se realiza mediante el cálculo de la media, mediana y cuartiles para las variables categóricas, utilizando el software R, versión x644.1.1 y el Test de Chi2. RESULTADO: Entre enero del año 2021 a 2022, hay anotados un total 1003 nacimientos de partos desencadenados en forma espontánea, incluyendo aquellos tanto a término como pretérmino. No se demostró una diferencia estadística en la distribución de nacimientos por sexos entre las diferentes fases lunares (P < 0,8). Teniendo en cuenta las edades gestacionales, la mediana es de 39 semanas, la media de 38,5 semanas, mínima, 22 semanas y la máxima, 41,4 semanas. Con respecto a la distribución de la cantidad de nacimientos con las diferentes fases lunares, obtuvimos que durante la fase de Luna Nueva el total es de 275 (27,4%), en la fase Cuarto Creciente de 212 (21,1%), en Luna Llena de 264 (26,3%) y en Cuarto Menguante de 252 (25,1%) (P< 0,3), no encontrándose diferencias estadísticas significativas entre las variables. No se encontró una relación estadística significativa entre las variables de cantidad de nacimientos y las distintas fases lunares. Cuando analizamos las complicaciones y observaciones del trabajo de parto presentadas, se obtuvo que la cantidad de las mismas fueron 176. Siendo la más frecuente la rotura prematura de membranas, con un total de 162 casos (92%), aunque no se objetiva una diferencia significativa entre la incidencia de las complicaciones en las diferentes fases lunares (P

Angamos 2520, Surquillo, Lima, 15038, Peru, Tel +51 992825055, Email nivaldivieso@gmail.comPurpose: The aim of this study is to evaluate the oncological care during the first state of national emergency due to the COVID-19 pandemic in several public cancer hospitals in Peru.Materials and Methods: A multicentric cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted by interviewing adult cancer patients diagnosed and treated between January 2019 and February 2020 from 18 hospitals. This study was carried out in September 2020, the last month of the first state of national emergency. Demographic and clinical characteristics were evaluated, including COVID-19 status and cancer treatment features.Results: A total of 1472 patients were included; the median age was 55 years (range 19– 97). Most patients (85.8%, n = 1263) had solid neoplasia, 13.5% (n = 198) hematologic neoplasia, and 0.7% (n = 11) others. SARS-CoV-2 infection was confirmed in 8.6% (n = 126), 1.2% (n = 18) were probable, 1.6% (n = 24) suspected, and 88.6% (n = 1304) negative cases. Overall, 51.6% of patients (n = 759) had cancer treatment delays, 42.5% (n = 626) changed treatment delivery (endovenous to oral systemic therapy), and 12.6% (n = 185) of cases cancer therapy was discontinued. In total, 10.3% (n = 117) of patients whose disease was controlled or in remission, experienced progression of disease during the state of emergency. A total of 6.7% (n = 98) of patients died, of whom 73.5% (n = 72) died from disease progression; 18.4% (n = 18) from SARS-CoV-2 infection and 8.1% (n = 8) from undetermined causes. Patients with hematological malignancies [hazard ratio (HR): 5.11 (95% confidence interval (CI): 1.99– 13.07)] and no response to therapy before the onset of the pandemic [5.01 (1.44– 17.42)] had an increased risk of death among COVID-19 infected individuals, whereas advanced clinical stage [5.09 (2.37– 10.95)] and discontinuation of treatment [3.66 (1.97– 6.78)] were risk factors among non-COVID-19 patients.Conclusion: Our study suggests that the COVID-19 pandemic has an adverse impact on the outcomes of Peruvian cancer patients. In our cohort, cancer mortality was higher than COVID-19 disease mortality.Keywords: COVID-19 pandemic, cancer care, Peru

The probability of changing preferences for study modalities was evaluated based on the experience of distance education during the COVID-19 pandemic among students of Marketing at a university in the Ecuadorian Andes. The analysis was based on the application of a questionnaire concerning factors associated with institutional conditions, as well as personal factors. Based on the data, the probability of changing the mode of study was estimated using a discrete choice model (logit-probit). The selection of the most appropriate model was based on the correct classification of the data (confusion matrix). The results show that certain aspects of personal satisfaction (physical space, dedication, time, commitment, content assimilation), Internet connection and flexibility of study plans are statistically significant. Student satisfaction with pedagogical planning, virtual platform, communication with teacher, virtual tutoring process, autonomous learning, teaching methodology, virtual classroom materials, complementary materials, evaluation process, variety of evaluation instruments and resolution of doubts do not generate changes in preferences. Therefore, the institution could promote this modality of studies by offering scheduling facilities and greater flexibility in the curriculum.

Tragedies are neither sought nor requested. Unfortunately, they happen and affect all areas of life, especially education. However, they leave lessons that work to face new challenges. This study aims to analyze the transition from classroom classes to distance classes due to an earthquake that hit Mexico City in 2017, damaging its buildings and infrastructure, to find the necessary aspects for an efficient transition in these cases, using different Tecnologico de Monterrey's institutional data. Faculty members were interviewed about their views during the transition. The student's grades were also compared. Student responses were analyzed in the teacher satisfaction surveys. Challenges encountered by faculty during the sudden implementation of online courses were difficulties in the use of digital technologies, the amount of time spent preparing the class, the new ways of communication, the lack of use and knowledge of the online model, and the student's evaluation in online settings. The advantages mentioned by the faculty were flexibility, recorded classes, and the new tools that can be used for teaching. It was also observed that the student averages were higher in the semester after the earthquake. However, although young faculty with excellent technology management or experienced faculty with good use of technology and who are very well trained were the profiles that students better evaluated, no correlation was found between their teacher-associated variables and teacher performance indicators with the student averages. This experience served as a basis for meeting the contingency of 2020 with COVID-19. It represented itself as one antecedent in evaluating online education, allowing the establishment of a more expeditious and efficient online educational system.

Central bank-issued digital currencies have sparked significant interest and are currently the subject of extensive research, owing to their potential for rapid settlement, low fees, accessibility, and automated monetary policies. However, central bank digital currencies are still in their infancy and the levels of adoption vary significantly between nations, with a few countries seeing widespread adoption. We used partial least squares structural equation modeling to investigate the nonlinear relationship between key national development indicators and central bank digital deployment across 67 countries. We explore the technological, environmental, legal, and economic factors that affect central bank digital currency adoption by country. We found a statistically significant and positive correlation between countries’ central bank digital currency adoption status and a country’s level of democracy and public confidence in governance, and a negative association between regulatory quality and income inequality. There was no significant association between countries’ central bank digital currency adoption status and their level of network readiness, foreign exchange reserves, and sustainable development goal rank. Thus, we posit that a country that is highly democratic and has good governance adopts central bank digital currencies more readily than others. Based on our findings, we suggested areas for additional research and highlighted policy considerations related to the wider adoption of central bank digital currency.

Pemberian ASI eksklusif pada bayi telah dianjurkan oleh semua pihak. ASI tidak hanya dapat memenuhi kebutuhan energi bayi, tetapi juga memberikan makronutrien dan mikronutrien yang penting untuk tumbuh kembang bayi. Walaupun demikian, cakupan pemberian ASI eksklusif belum dapat dikatakan optimal. Hal tersebut dipengaruhi oleh kurangnya pengetahuan ibu mengenai kandungan nutrisi ASI dan faktor ibu yang bekerja. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi kepada ibu menyusui mengenai kandungan ASI dan pemberian ASI perah (ASIP). Kegiatan dilakukan secara online melalui Zoom. Kegiatan berupa seminar atau penyuluhan dengan menghadirkan 3 topik dan 3 narasumber. Evaluasi keberhasilan kegiatan dilakukan dengan menilai suasana diskusi dan memberikan pertanyaan tertutup melalui pra dan pascates. Sebanyak 29 ibu menyusui mengikuti kegiatan ini dengan rerata usia 29 tahun dan sebagian besar bekerja (80%). Para peserta antusias memberikan pertanyaan kepada para narasumber. Hasil evaluasi pra dan pascates menunjukkan ada peningkatan pengetahuan ibu menyusui sebesar 31% (p=0,000). Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat berupa edukasi kandungan ASI dan pemberian ASIP berhasil dilakukan dengan baik. Edukasi mampu meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu menyusui. Edukasi atau penyuluhan dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan atau pemahaman masyarakat.Abstrak ditulis dalam bahasa Indonesia dan Inggris. It fulfills the baby's energy needs and provides nutrients that are necessary for baby's growth and development. However, the coverage of exclusive breastfeeding has not yet been sufficient, that is affected by the mother’s lack of knowledge about breast milk and the mother’s occupation. This community service aims to provide education to breastfeeding mothers about the content of breast milk and expressed breast milk to the breastfeeding mothers. The activities were performed by presenting 3 experts using online Zoom. Evaluation was done by assessing the atmosphere of the discussion and establishing closed questions through pre and post-test. A total of 29 breastfeeding mothers have participated in this activity with an average age of 29 years and most of them have job (80%). The participants were actively asking questions to the speakers. The results of the pre- and post-test evaluation showed that there was an increase in knowledge of breastfeeding mothers by 31% (p=0.000). It concludes that community service in the form of education activities on the content of breast milk and breastfeeding has been successful.
