El proyecto ODS17 ApS "Historia de Vica como técnica de aprendizaje social y educativo" busca analizar la introducción de una metodología pedagógica, la técnica de “historias de vida”, en el aprendizaje del estudiantado de Trabajo Social, su transformación y repercusiones, así como dar a conocer los ODS en relación a la temática y las competencias transversales Esta técnica es el sello identificador de una forma de empirismo, que insiste en una aproximación humanista a la realidad social (Pujada, 2002). La técnica de la historia de vida se toma como punto de referencia o hilo conductor desde el que trabajar los contenidos de la asignatura “Intermediación, Inserción y Prospección Laboral”. Ello supone una opción para descubrir una nueva e interesante forma de fijar el conocimiento asociando teoría y práctica, comprometiéndose a la reflexión y teorización, Se trabajan temáticas de análisis social, económico, político o cultural, profundizando en la historia, el género, las migraciones, la sanidad o laboral. Se trata de una forma diferente de construir y reflexionar el conocimiento a partir del conjunto de experiencias de los relatos de las personas mayores, familiares y profesionales, de modo que los/as estudiantes se sientan partícipes de su propio proceso de aprendizaje, siendo una forma de adquirir competencias propias de la asignatura. Desde el curso académico 2023-2024, la temática central de la historia de vida se centra en vida laboral de los abuelos y abuelas del estudiantado, principalmente. En la actualidad, a través de la metodología Aprendizaje Servicio, la propuesta busca salir del aula universitaria, ampliándose y enriqueciéndose.. Laboratory-prepared Pd/C catalysts have been investigated in the deep gas-phase hydrodechlorination (HDC) of monochloromethane (CH3Cl), dichloromethane (CH2Cl2) and trichloromethane (CHCl3). The catalysts were found to be active in HDC, the reactivity following the order CHCl3 > CH2Cl2 > CH3Cl. Selectivities to non-chlorinated compounds were found to be higher than 90% in most cases. The results obtained with the catalyst prepared from PdCl2 suggest that all the reaction products are primary products. The CH4, CH3Cl and CH2Cl2 come from the hydrogenation of the corresponding adsorbed chloride radical, while hydrocarbons of more than one carbon atoms are formed by reaction and subsequent hydrodechlorination of two radicals adsorbed in neighbouring active centers. The catalyst undergoes a significant deactivation which appears to be due to the poisoning of active centers with chlorinated hydrocarbons. Monometallic (Pt or Pd) and bimetallic (Pt–Pd) catalysts supported on zirconia promoted with sulfate (SZ) or tungsten oxide (WZ) were prepared and tested in the gas-phase hydrodechlorination of dichloromethane. The catalysts showed a high selectivity to non-chlorinated products (between 80% and 90% at 250 °C) being methane the main reaction product. As a general trend, the WZ catalysts yielded significantly higher dichloromethane conversion than the SZ ones, yielding all the catalysts initial conversions higher than 80% at a reaction temperature of 250 °C. However, the former showed a very poor stability regardless of the metallic active phase. On the other hand, the presence of palladium in the sulfated zirconia catalyst avoids deactivation as proved in long-term experiments (80-h time on stream). XPS and elemental analyses of the used catalysts suggest that adsorption of organochlorinated species is a cause of deactivation by blocking the active sites. In the monometallic SZ Pt catalyst, deactivation occurs also by poisoning of the Pt sites by the H2S resulting from sulfate reduction under the hydrogen-rich gas atmosphere. The metal particle size appears to be a critical point with regard to stability of the catalysts. The computational study included the effect of size, oxidation state, and spin configuration of Pd cluster on the adsorption of H2 and DCM reactants on the catalyst surface. Calculations described the activation of H2 by Pd clusters through a dissociative adsorption with low enthalpy values. In addition, partially and fully dissociated DCM intermediates on Pd surface were predicted by DFT calculations. Remarkably, the dissociative adsorption of DCM on Pd active sites occurs via the scission of C–Cl bonds, promoted by the formation of C–Pd linkages, implying high adsorption enthalpy. The computational results showed that DCM can be also molecularly adsorbed on both zerovalent and electrodeficient Pd species. However, the nondissociative adsorption of DCM over electrodeficient Pd cluster is remarkably favored in energy, with adsorption enthalpies (∼−50 kcal/mol) corresponding to chemisorption. Alianzas para lograr los objetivos La educación está en proceso de cambio, el ejercicio de la docencia conlleva estar en constante renovación en cuanto a los procesos pedagógicos. Esto nos obliga a reflexionar sobre la propia práctica docente e investigadora como instrumentos de producción y adquisición de conocimientos. En la asignatura de Intermediación, Prospección e Inserción Laboral del Departamento de Trabajo Social y Servicios Sociales de la Facultad de Trabajo Social, Universidad Complutense de Madrid se analiza que, el empleo se ha convertido en algo tan central, y que el hecho de carecer de él es uno de los principales factores de exclusión social. Desde este contexto surge la iniciativa de organizar unas jornadas de empleo y emprendimiento sostenible e inclusivas enmarcado en la asignatura citada. Se tiene como objetivo que el estudiantado pueda compartir los conocimientos adquiridos en la materia con profesionales y personas que participan de las jornadas a organizar. Se consigue un beneficio mutuo, ya que de esta forma el estudiantado puede practicar lo aprendido en los contenidos teóricos, aprender con la práctica, al mismo tiempo que se les da voz en este contexto.

The upgrading of wasted chloroform in hydrodechlorination for the production of olefins such as ethylene and propylene is studied by employing four catalysts (PdCl/CNT, PdCl/CNF, PdN/CNT, and PdN/CNF) prepared by different precursors (PdCl2 and Pd(NO3)2) supported on carbon nanotubes (CNT) or carbon nanofibers (CNF). TEM and EXAFS-XANES results confirm that Pd nanoparticle size increases in the order: PdCl/CNT < PdCl/CNF ∼ PdN/CNT < PdN/CNF, descending the electron density of Pd nanoparticles in the same order. It illustrates that PdCl-based catalysts show donation of electrons from support to Pd nanoparticles, which is not observed in PdN-based catalysts. Moreover, this effect is more evident in CNT. The smallest and well-dispersed Pd nanoparticles (NPs) on PdCl/CNT with high electron density favor an excellent and stable activity and a remarkable selectivity to olefins. CO2 capture technologies must be developed to reduce Green House Gas emissions in order to fulfill the Paris Agreement. Adsorption is considered one of the available technologies due to the mild conditions used in the process. Selective sorbents with high CO2 adsorption capacities are needed. In this work, several types of branched polyethylenimines (PEI), with different average molecular weight, are used agglomerated with silica at different amounts by weight. The adsorption has been measured and the kinetic parameters are estimated from breakthrough experiments in a fixed bed. Functionalized carbon nanofibers (CNF) are fascinating materials to be used as supports in Pd-based catalysts for the treatment of waste chloroform (TCM) to produce light olefins through the catalytic hydrodechlorination (HDC). The CNF were functionalized by HNO3, HCl, and urea. Compared to the Pd supported on un-treated CNF, all the catalysts using functionalized CNF as support showed lower turnover frequency values with higher stability, owing to their smaller Pd nanoparticles (NPs). These smaller Pd NPs are formed due to the stronger metal–support interactions promoted by the higher concentration of surface groups on the functionalized catalysts. Since the smaller Pd NPs could hinder the hydrogenation of olefins to paraffins, the selectivity to olefins increased on the functionalized catalysts. Moreover, the N-doped CNF was successfully formed on the catalyst functionalized by urea. Background: Antidepressants are the foundation of the treatment of major depressive disorders. Despite the scientific evidence, there is still a sustained debate and concern about the efficacy of antidepressants, with widely differing opinions among the population about their positive and negative effects, which may condition people’s attitudes towards such treatments. Our aim is to investigate Twitter posts about antidepressants in order to have a better understanding of the social consideration of antidepressants. Methods: We gathered public tweets mentioning antidepressants written in English, published throughout a 22-month period, between 1 January 2019 and 31 October 2020. We analysed the content of each tweet, determining in the first place whether they included medical aspects or not. Those with medical content were classified into four categories: general aspects, such as quality of life or mood, sleep-related conditions, appetite/weight issues and aspects around somatic alterations. In non-medical tweets, we distinguished three categories: commercial nature (including all economic activity, drug promotion, education or outreach), help request/offer, and drug trivialization. In addition, users were arranged into three categories according to their nature: patients and relatives, caregivers, and interactions between Twitter users. Finally, we identified the most mentioned antidepressants, including the number of retweets and likes, which allowed us to measure the impact among Twitter users. Results: The activity in Twitter concerning antidepressants is mainly focused on the effects these drugs may have on certain health-related areas, specifically sleep (20.87%) and appetite/weight (8.95%). Patients and relatives are the type of user that most frequently posts tweets with medical content (65.2%, specifically 80% when referencing sleep and 78.6% in the case of appetite/weight), whereas they are responsible for only 2.9% of tweets with non-medical content. To evaluate the evidence regarding the prevalence and risk of bundle branch block (BBB), atrioventricular block (AVB) and pacemaker implantation (PMI) in patients with spondyloarthritis compared to a control group without spondyloarthritis. A systematic review of the literature was performed using Pubmed (Medline), EMBASE (Elsevier) and Cochrane Library (Wiley) databases until December 2021. The prevalence and risk for AVB, BBB and PMI were analyzed. Cohort, case control and cross-sectional studies in patients ≥18 years meeting the classification criteria for spondyloarthritis were included. The Odds ratio (OR), risk ratio (RR), or Hazard ratio (HR) and prevalence difference were considered as outcomes. Data was synthesized in a previously defined extraction form which included a risk of bias assessment using the Newcastle-Ottawa Scale. In total, eight out of 374 studies were included. None of the studies provided results regarding the risk of low grade AVB and BBB in SpA patients. Only indirect results comparing prevalences from low to medium quality studies were found. According to population based registries, the sex and age adjusted HR of AVB was 2.3 (95% CI 1.6-3.3) in ankylosing spondylitis, 2.9 (95% CI 1.8-4.7) in undifferentiated spondyloarthritis and 1.5 (95% CI 1.1 a 1.9) in psoriatic arthritis. The absolute risk for AVB was 0.4% (moderate to high; 95% CI 0.34%-0.69%) for AS, 0.33% (moderate to high; 95% CI 0.21%-0.53%) for uSpA and 0.34% (moderate to high; 95% CI 0.26%-0.45%) for PsA.The RR for PMI in AS patients was 1.3 (95% CI 1.16-1.46) for groups aged between 65 and 69 years, 1.33 (95% CI 1.22-1.44) for 70-75 years, 1.24 (95% CI 1.55-1.33) for 75-79 years and 1.11 (95% CI 1.06-1.17) for groups older than 80 years. The absolute risk for PMI in AS patients was 0.7% (moderate to high risk; 95% CI 0.6-0.8%) for groups aged between 65-69, 1.44% (high risk; 95% CI 1.33-1.6%) for 70-75 years, 2.09% (high risk; 95% CI 2.0-2.2%) for 75-79 years and 4.15% (high
