Computer programming can be a valuable tool for students to improve their thinking and problem-solving abilities. This study aims to analyze the relationship between programming skills and the perceived value of learning programming among Information Technology Students in Davao Del Sur. This study utilized two adapted questionnaires during the data collection using google form software; the survey was distributed in different schools around Davao Del Sur with 100 respondents. The researchers of this study showcase quantitative research utilizing a correlational research method to analyze the relationship between the two variables. A statistician interpreted and analyzed the collected data using four statistical tools: weighted mean, variance analysis, relative frequency, and Pearson’s r. The interpreted data were explained and presented well by the researchers properly and more clearly. Furthermore, it shows the positive correlations between Programming Skills and Perceived Value of Learning Programming. In connection with that, there is a significant relationship between Programming Skills and Perceived Value of Learning Programming among Information Technology Education students. This positive correlation implies that when the Programming Skills increases, it can be assumed that Perceived Value of Learning Programming also increases.

In the traditional teaching and learning process, the student has to go to educational institutions, attend lectures and acquire personal knowledge from the teachers. However, with the extensive use of ICT, online technology, e-publishing, and open access advancements in scholarly communication in higher education throughout the globe, the education system has transitioned from conventional to distance and e-learning. In the wake of COVID-19 epidemic, online learning and courses are increasingly being more integrated into the educational sector. Educational boards have mandated the delivery of online courses at the basic education, college and university levels. As a result, the number of people using the web application has increased. The participants of the study will be the Senior High School students studying at Davao City. The researcher will use quota sampling in selecting the respondents. 60 students will be the quota in gathering the data. The results shows strong positive relationship between the usage of web application and academic interest of the students. This implies that when the level of usage of web application increase, the level of academic interest also increases.The researcher would like to recommend that the teacher should determine that at what level students utilization on web application, and recommend new methods such as work in pairs to expand their knowledge.

Technology plays an essential role in many aspects of society, notably in our educational system. It allows for a variety of platforms to be used in accomplishing a student’s educational goals. Students’ comprehension of content and development of abilities in areas like analytical reasoning, downside resolution, data analysis, and artistic thinking can all be improved by increasing the use of technology. The principal objective of this correlational research study was to measure the significant correlation between use of technology-enabled learning and academic performance among college students in St. Mary’s College of Bansalan, Inc. (SMCBI). In order to explain the relationships between technology and learning, the researchers in this study used a correlational research approach. Using 100 students from the second semester of the school year 2021-2022 and their departments. There are five departments: BSIT, BSBA, BSHM, BEED, and BSED. The survey results showed that the use of technology-enabled learning is very high and that the perceived academic performance is high. Furthermore, the positive correlations between Use of Technology-Enabled Learning and Perceived Academic Performance shows that there is a significant relationship between the Usage of Technology-Enabled Learning and Perceived Academic Performance, which means that Usage of Technology-Enabled Learning increases perceived Academic Performance also increases.

Many countries worldwide are affected, and there is a fear of losing this whole enduring semester or even more in the coming future. Flexible learning state of being in which learning and teaching are gradually autonomous since the boundaries of the time, place, and study pace are limited. The students enrolled within the Bachelor of Science in Information Systems (BSIS) program in Davao del Norte State College (DNSC) in the first semester of 2020-2021 are the main target of this study in how they follow and adapt the new-normal way of delivering instructional materials. This study used the quantitative approach under the descriptive research design method with the survey questionnaire as the primary data collection tool. Data gathering was done through the use of questionnaires in the form of an online survey. The total population size of prospective respondents qualified in this study 226 students from Davao del Norte State College, Panabo City during the academic year 2020-2021 amid a pandemic enrolled in the program of BSIS. The coherent response to higher education dynamics, such as the need for technological innovation to adapt flexible learning. Relying on its resilient and innovative spirit, DNSC finds ways to continue delivering its essential new way of giving academic quality to the scholars. Flexible learning uses online and offline modalities and allows completion of scholars learning off-campus. Based on the findings, it can be assumed that the respondents, the Davao del Norte State College (DNSC), the current status of BSIS students are equipped with needed technologies and adjusted to flexible learning. Land transport infrastructure has always been an important aspect of a city. People increasingly use social media to express their feelings about city projects such as land transportation. Government organisations are having trouble detecting concerns that develop as a result of people utilising social media to criticise land transportation infrastructure. These text-based social media posts can be examined using sentiment analysis, which is a key task in Natural Language Processing (NLP). Sentiment analysis is a process of the deriving sentiment of a particular statement or sentence. This study used a social networking website to create a model of sentiments on land transportation infrastructure in Region XI (Davao Region), the Philippines, and tested the model's correctness using a data set. There are 1,200 text data sets in total, divided into two categories: test dataset (25 percent) and training dataset (75 percent). To perform sentiments analysis of text data sets, machine learning text classifiers such as Support Vector Machines (SVM), Random Forest (RF), and Multinomial Nave Bayesian (MNB) were utilised. The performance of each classification model is estimated by generating a confusion metric with precision and recall calculations, known as the f1-score. The accuracy rating was calculated as well. A comparison was also made based on the results of the three machine learning classifiers' tests. SVM has the highest accuracy, with 76.12 percent and a f1-score of 71.98 percent, based on the results of the experiment. This research will be used to inform and support policy-making and development of land transportation infrastructure in the Davao Region.

Technology sets a new record as people discover novel ideas of the application of technology. Some of these innovations paved the way for solutions to problems in various fields, especially in agriculture. The identified problem is that plant pathologists use different applications such as Google Earth and Microsoft Excel in managing the data given by the growers that will lead to disorganization of location data. Moreover, handling a large amount of data with the GPS coordinates as the only identifier on the map can be tedious and consume significant effort when retrieving the specific data or information needed. To address the issues, a plant pathologists' geotagging and monitoring system for the infected banana plant was designed and developed to remedy the problem of the plant pathologist's recording, tracking the sample with diseases in the vast hectares of banana plantations. It is called GETMOSYS. The GETMOSYS application has two parts: a website specially created to be used by the Pathologist and the mobile app designed to be used by the growers for their grower representatives. The predictive prototyping model was used as the system development method in developing and implementing the software. Black box testing was used for the software testing functionality of the website and mobile application. One plant pathologist and 24 personnel of a banana plantation evaluated the system usability using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ). The system shows excellent results in Attractiveness, Perspicuity, Efficiency.

MOBA Games has been the trend of the society nowadays. This has become the best recreational activity of the youth. This trend make the researchers to be focused on its impact to the family interaction.The study location is at Gamao Subdivision, Barangay San Francisco, Panabo City. Eighty-three (83) MOBA Games players had been selected to participate the interviews which was being answered by the survey questionnaires.The survey questionnaires focused on what was the MOBA Games impact and influences to the members of a family. This has been grouped according to the – age range, gender, socio economic status, number of the siblings and playmate.The study shows that family members does not manifest excessive MOBA games usage and does not greatly manifest Family Interaction between members of the family. Also, this shows a significant relationship between the level of MOBA games usage and in the level of family interaction.The study recommended that families should learn how to value and manage time in order to be more productive and effective in building interaction between family members and should build strong connection among its family members. It is highly recommended that family should be effective as to implementing house rules in order to minimize the high level of MOBA games usage among age group 5 to 10 years old.

A pandemic crisis is now happening in the world because of the new coronavirus, which causes COVID-19 disease. Millions of people are infected, and several countries are affected. This paper inquires the relationship between COVID-19 deaths and recoveries in each country. The outbreak of the coronavirus disease (COVID19) had scattered in every continent, and almost many people had died after contracting the respiratory virus, these deaths occurred in every country. The data was acquired from Worldmeter, and data is until May 8, 2020. The result shows that there is a strong relationship between the two variables with r=0.766. Moreover, there is a significant relationship between deaths and recoveries per country for the COVID-19 disease with a p-value of 0.000 (Correlation is significant at the 0.01 level 2-tailed).

The world is experiencing a global pandemic crisis right now because of the new coronavirus, which causes COVID-19 disease, and millions are infected. This paper inquires the possible correlation between the number of new cases per day and the number of daily deaths in the Philippines. The data was collected from the COVID-19 data drop repository of the Department of Health, Philippines. Pearson r was utilized to determine the correlation between the two variables. The result shows that there is a relationship between the number of daily new cases and the number of deaths per day. However, the correlation is not highly significant as the p-value is at 0.002 (Correlation is significant at the 0.01 level 2-tailed).

Sales and Inventory Management System is a computer- based system that provides the shop structure for maintaining and controlling goods to be stocked. Music streaming websites has become hobby among students especially college. The objective of the study is to determine the effect of music streaming websites to the academic performance of the college students in Panabo City. The study involved 30 college students from public and private schools. There were 10 students from public school and 20 students from private school. The hypothesis of the study was that the level of music streaming website of the student in terms of usefulness, enjoyment and satisfaction help in their academic performance. While there are some factors that affected the academic performance of the students such as gender, age, year level and type of school. This positive finding is relevant to justify the current trend of listening to music while studying as it does not pose any adverse effects on the concentration of student. Mass transportation refers to the machines which are specifically created to carry a certain number of people from one area to another. In highly progressive and populated places such as in Metro Manila Philippines, it becomes conventional among people who commute every day on their way to work, school, home and etc., for instance, in the Philippines, there are Metro Rail Transit (MRT) and Light Rail Transit (LRT) found in Metro Manila. As the number of mobile vehicles increase, problems slowly appeared that soon affected the citizens especially the commuters. Thus, it also affect the environment. The situation is also gradually appearing in Davao City, for the city itself has been having a positive progress economically. And to ease the negative effect of a sudden increase in a quantity of the mass transportation in the City, the researchers have conducted a study that was mainly focused on making an alternative mass transport system for Davao City using the FOSS Geo-Spatial Technique. This study was conducted in the city of Davao, in order to make another route with regards to the existing Korean LRT route to ease the traffic congestion on the proposed stations of the proposed Korean LRT. The study found out that the Population of Davao City is gradually increasing per year and the implementation of Light Rail Transit is necessary to provide solution to the uprising dilemma. The commercial areas in Davao City are located in areas where the population is high and the people's flow is steady and the road network is accessible. The Road Network in Davao City is accessible to have an alternative route for Mass Transit. The Traffic Congestion is Davao City are located in the Primary Roads, Secondary roads, and National Highways and also pinpointed in commercial zones with high-density residential zones. The alternative Mass Transport System in Davao City are the combination of 2024 projected population, Traffic Congestions and the Commercial Areas in Davao City.

Excellent IT core competencies are considered as integral factors for an individual whom is employed as an IT employee in a certain organization. Researchers and practitioners have examined organizations to try to discover causal links between competitive advantage and IT. It becomes a requirement for pre-employment in most organizations in Davao City. The researchers selected 12 organizations in Davao city with at least one employee who graduated with an IT related program. The descriptive correlation method is used in this study. Statistical treatment was used in order to achieve a correlation between IT core competencies and the employee’s job performance. Using descriptive statistics, this study found out that the IT graduates have efficiently acquired and applied IT core competencies. The IT graduates have efficient job performance in their respective organizations. Using t-test, this study had determined that there is a significant difference of IT core competencies and employee’s job performance when analyzed by specialization: BSIT, BSIS, BSIM, BSCS and Computer Technical course. This study had also determined that there is a significant difference in the level of IT core competencies and employee’s job performance when grouped according to Type of School Graduated: Public and Private. Using analysis of variance, this study found out that there is a significant relationship between IT core competencies and Job performance of IT graduates. It is further recommended that employers should include IT core competencies in their performance evaluation of employees and in their training programs.
