Abstract

A pandemic crisis is now happening in the world because of the new coronavirus, which causes COVID-19 disease. Millions of people are infected, and several countries are affected. This paper inquires the relationship between COVID-19 deaths and recoveries in each country. The outbreak of the coronavirus disease (COVID19) had scattered in every continent, and almost many people had died after contracting the respiratory virus, these deaths occurred in every country. The data was acquired from Worldmeter, and data is until May 8, 2020. The result shows that there is a strong relationship between the two variables with r=0.766. Moreover, there is a significant relationship between deaths and recoveries per country for the COVID-19 disease with a p-value of 0.000 (Correlation is significant at the 0.01 level 2-tailed).
