Circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) materials are promising candidates for future display technology. However, such highly efficient emitters suffer from the issues of difficult chiral separation and low photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY). In this work, the chiral 4,4′‐biphenanthrene‐3,3′‐diol (BIPOL) unit was introduced into a thermally activated delayed fluorescence (TADF) framework for the first time. We presented two series of enantiomers, R/S‐o‐DCzBPNCN and R/S‐p‐DCzBPNCN, and the synthesis of enantiopure BIPOL can be prepared via normal column chromatography. Notably, o‐DCzBPNCN showed narrow singlet‐triplet gap of 0.05 eV, efficient TADF, and high PLQYs of 82 % in doped films. In addition, R/S‐o‐DCzBPNCN exhibited high luminescence dissymmetry factor (gPL) values of −1.94×10−2/+1.91×10−2 in doped films. The strategy of BIPOL introduction offers a new approach to organic emitters with stereospecific synthesis, TADF, and chiroptical properties. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In order to investigate the anchoring methods of light insulated decorative panels with thermosetting composite polystyrene foam insulation board (TEPS-G) as the insulation layer, the influence of the material thickness, length and installation position of the inserts on the anchoring force was analyzed and studied. The results show that it can meet the combined force testing requirements of the anchors when the anchor inserts are made of stainless steel, with a length of 70mm and the installation position is more than 12 mm from the back of the insulation pane. Through the analysis of damage process and damage model of TEPS-G, it turns out that the damage process is mainly the fracture of the inorganic material wrapping on the surface of the polystyrene particles, and the damage model conforms the maximum tensile stress theory of stone. This model can be used to predict the fracture strength of TEPS-G in construction applications. Moreover, new anchorage solutions are also proposed for the installation and application of light insulated decorative panels, and suggestions are made for related research on TEPS-G in the future. Expression of the Xenopus homolog of the mammalian transcription factor AP-2 [alpha] (XAP-2) is activated throughout the animal hemisphere shortly after the midblastula transition, and becomes restricted to prospective epidermis by the end of gastrulation, under the control of BMP signal modulation. Elevated expression in the future neural crest region begins at this time. Ectopic expression of XAP-2 can restore transcription of epidermal genes in neuralized ectoderm, both in ectodermal explants and in the intact embryo. Likewise, loss of XAP-2 function, accomplished by injection of antisense oligonucleotides or by overexpression of antimorphic XAP-2 derivatives, leads to loss of epidermal and gain of neural gene expression. These treatments also result in gastrulation failure. Thus, AP-2 is a critical regulator of ectodermal determination that is required for normal epidermal development and morphogenesis in the frog embryo. This study aimed to explore the effects of standardized mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT) and MBCT training without practice on the negative mood of women in custody. Eighty participants were assigned to the standard MBCT group, theoretical learning group, or waitlist control group. We assessed participants' mindfulness, stress, depression, and anxiety before and after the interventions. The results showed that, compared with controls, participants in the standard MBCT course showed significant improvement in depression and state anxiety; they also showed significant improvement in perceived stress. Although similar effects on depression were observed in the theoretical learning group, this group did not show decreased anxiety. These findings suggest that practice plays a crucial role in MBCT's effects on female prisoners' mental health. This study provides important insights into the application of mindfulness-based interventions (MBIs) as promising treatments for improving responsivity factors of the risk–need–responsivity model for female incarcerated populations.
