Abstract
- In order to investigate the anchoring methods of light insulated decorative panels with thermosetting composite polystyrene foam insulation board (TEPS-G) as the insulation layer, the influence of the material thickness, length and installation position of the inserts on the anchoring force was analyzed and studied. The results show that it can meet the combined force testing requirements of the anchors when the anchor inserts are made of stainless steel, with a length of 70mm and the installation position is more than 12 mm from the back of the insulation pane. Through the analysis of damage process and damage model of TEPS-G, it turns out that the damage process is mainly the fracture of the inorganic material wrapping on the surface of the polystyrene particles, and the damage model conforms the maximum tensile stress theory of stone. This model can be used to predict the fracture strength of TEPS-G in construction applications. Moreover, new anchorage solutions are also proposed for the installation and application of light insulated decorative panels, and suggestions are made for related research on TEPS-G in the future.
