Abstract

Abstract In the design and optimisation of marine wireless communication and navigation systems, a thorough investigation of radio wave propagation characteristics under atmospheric ducting conditions is essential. The authors aim to enhance the efficiency of radio wave propagation loss prediction in marine atmospheric ducting environments, proposing a prediction model based on Fast Reordered‐Alternate Direction Decomposition (FR‐ADD). By approximating the diffraction term into three independent components, exploiting the commutative properties of the Fourier transform to reduce the spatial dimensions, and incorporating a rapid algorithm for the parabolic equation, the model optimises the stepping process and significantly improves computational efficiency. Simulation experiments demonstrate that, in the long‐distance and complex marine ducting environments, the model not only maintains prediction accuracy but also substantially reduces computational load and prediction time, effectively realising over‐the‐horizon propagation prediction. In the experiment of radio wave propagation characteristics in the Yellow and Bohai Seas, the simulation data from the FR‐ADD model showed significant correlation with actual measurements and simulations from the AREPS software, confirming the method's efficiency and practicality.

Abstract

N-acylhydrazone compounds have two isomers, E/cis and E/trans, in polar solvents. In this work, 1H and 13C nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) signals, coupling constants (J), and the spatial structures of the two isomers (E/cis and E/trans) of a novel carbazole-triazinoindole based N-acylhydrazone derivative 3, 2-(5H-[1,2,4] triazine[5,6-b]indol-3-ylthio)-N'-(9-ethylcarbazol-3-ylmethylene)acetylhydrazine, were obtained by one-dimensional and two-dimensional NMR techniques, infrared spectroscopy (IR) and elemental analysis. The ratios of the two isomers were determined.

Abstract

This paper reviewed the clinical data of 15 children undergoing allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) for Fanconi anemia. All the children received comprehensive nursing measures including overall environmental protection, infection prevention, safety protection, psychological counseling and health education based on their disease characteristics and disease progression. Allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation was successfully performed in 15 children with Fankone anemia. After transplantation, the mean time of neutrophil engraftment was (11. 67±1. 67) d, time of transferred out of laminar flow room was (13. 33±1. 49) d. (本文回顾了科室科收治的行异基因造血干细胞移植术治疗的范可尼贫血患儿15例的临床资料。结合患儿的疾病特点与病情进展, 为患儿实施全环境保护、预防感染、安全防护、心理疏导和健康教育。15例范可尼贫血患儿成功进行异基因造血干细胞移植, 于移植后平均(11. 67±1. 67)d中性粒细胞开始重建, 平均(13. 33±1. 49)d转出层流室。)

34. The Visible Hand behind Study-Abroad Waves: Cram Schools, Organizational Framing and the International Mobility of Chinese Students

Abstract

This paper adds an organizational dimension to the body of literature on international student mobility. Existing studies examine push/pull factors and student motivations, neglecting that students' motivations and demands are not necessarily spontaneous, but can be shaped by external forces. Drawing on interview, archival and observation data collected on four leading cram schools that prepare students for the TOEFL/GRE, IELTS and SAT in China, I argue that cram schools not only coach students on test preparation and "how to study abroad," but they also adopt organizational framing to instill in students "why to study abroad." Leading cram schools have played an integral role in promoting a certain organizational framing as the dominant approach of a niche market in a given era. During the 1990s, when the TOEFL/GRE niche market was rapidly expanding, the market leader in this niche promoted self-help and nationalism as dominant discourses. Self-help discourse frames overseas study and test preparation not as means, but as the ends of students' lives: going beyond one's limit and making one's life complete. Nationalist discourse depicts overseas study as a detour to build a stronger China after learning from the West. After 2000, however, new organizational framing picked up momentum in the new niche markets of IELTS and SAT. Targeting urban middle-class consumers, market leaders in these new niches increasingly framed studying abroad as a springboard for immigration, a channel for becoming global elites and an opportunity for status improvement for the entire family. My article bridges literature on transnational higher education with studies on supplementary education.

Abstract

Objective: Guanyuan (CV4), Zhongji (CV3) and Sanyinjiao (SP6) are the most frequently used acupoints for treating neurogenic bladder after spinal cord injury (SCI). However, there has been no investigation to clarify the differences in effects of these acupoints in different types of neurogenic bladder. Methods: The study was structured with a randomized, two‐phase cross over design with a washout period. A routine urodynamic examination was performed first, then, in the order of grouping, electroacupuncture was performed on CV4, CV3, and SP6, respectively，and urodynamic examination was performed to observe the changes of urodynamic indexes in real time. Results: When undergoing electroacupuncture at CV4, CV3, and SP6 in patients with neurogenic detrusor overactivity (DO), the bladder volume at the first occurrence of DO and maximum cystometric capacity increased (p < 0.05), but maximum detrusor pressure (Pdetmax) at DO decreased (p < 0.05), and the changes using CV4 and CV3 was more significantly than using SP6 (p < 0.05). And in patients with in neurogenic detrusor underactivity, there were no significant changes in maximum urinary flow rate and Pdetmax during urination (p > 0.05). Abstract

The sluggish reaction kinetics of CO2electroreduction in perovskite-based cathodes severely limits the efficiency of solid oxide electrolysis cells (SOECs). The construction of the high-density active sites on the perovskite surface is crucial for promoting CO2electrolysis in SOEC. In this study, we explore a redox-induced redispersion strategy to produce RhOxnanoclusters uniformly anchored on a Sr2Fe1.45Rh0.05Mo0.5O6–δ(SFRhM) perovskite surface with a high density of 36,000 µm−2. Compared with non-uniformly distributed RhOxnanoparticles on Sr2Fe1.5Mo0.5O6–δ(RhOx/SFM) prepared by a conventional impregnation process, the successive reduction and oxidation treatment first exsolves the highly dispersed RhFe alloy nanoparticles on SFRhM and then selectively dissolves the iron species in the RhFe alloy nanoparticles into the bulk of SFRhM, resulting in fully exposed RhOxnanoclusters uniformly anchored on the SFRhM surface (RhOx@SFRhM). Electrochemical measurements and density functional theory calculations indicate that the high-density RhOx@SFRhM interfaces promote CO2adsorption and activation during CO2electrolysis, thus leading to improved electrocatalytic activity and stability compared to that of its SFRhM and RhOx/SFM counterparts.
