Water ubiquitously exists with dissolved salt in both natural and engineered porous media, such as soil, rock, concrete, and tissue; therefore, its freezing temperature depression behavior is of particular interest to various scientific communities tackling with mechanics and physics of porous media. To date, it remains elusive which physical mechanism accounts for its freezing temperature depression and how dissolved ions affect it. Herein, a series of pore-scale experiments were designated to investigate the freezing temperature of salt solutions in tubes with varying pore diameters, pore solution volumes, solid–liquid interfacial areas, ion concentrations, and ion types. The results reveal two main findings: (i) the freezing temperature depression of pore solutions is governed by the heterogeneous ice nucleation (HIN) at the water–solid interface, as evidenced by the observation that the freezing temperature decreases with the decreasing solid–liquid interfacial areas, regardless of pore diameter and pore solution volume; (ii) the dissolved salts alter HIN processes via changing the osmotic potential across the ice embryo–liquid water interface, as indicated by the observation that the freezing temperature is mainly determined by the salt concentration irrespective of salt types. Furthermore, the classical nucleation theory model is adapted for the freezing behavior of pore solutions by including an osmotic potential term. The model shows excellent performance in capturing experimental data with various pore solution concentrations, further substantiating the HIN as the physical mechanism governing pore solution freezing. A solid-liquid composite lubrication coating capable of controlling friction and wear has received widespread attention among researchers. Here, a novel self-lubricating ceramic coating was created through a combination of thermal spraying, hydrothermal reactions, and vacuum impregnation. Its mechanical properties, tribological performance, and self-lubrication mechanism were thoroughly analyzed. The results indicate that the thermally sprayed ceramic coating contained carbon spheres and perfluoropolyether. As a result of the in-situ synthesis of carbon spheres, the coating exhibited enhanced mechanical properties. Compared to the single solid lubricant coating, the solid-liquid composite coating decreased the coefficient of friction by 46.7% to 0.112 and decreased the wear rate from 1.25 × 10−6 mm3/m N to 3.70 × 10−7 mm3/m N. It is proposed in this work that solid-liquid composite coatings can be prepared by utilizing the defects such as pores and microcracks inherent in thermal spray coatings for introducing solid lubricating phases and liquid lubricating phases. In the random field model's consideration of the spatial variability of soil, soil properties at different locations play different roles in the reliability analysis of the foundation. Investigating the importance distribution of the random field through reliability sensitivity analysis (RSA) is beneficial for understanding how the random field affects the reliability of the foundation. However, many existing RSA methods for the random field model are deficient in terms of efficiency, accuracy, and applicability under complex engineering conditions. Consequently, this study proposes an efficient RSA method for the random field model based on the Karhunen–Loève (KL) expansion method and the first-order reliability method (FORM) to identify the important random field domain in foundation engineering. In the proposed method, the mean reliability sensitivity index (MRSI) is extended to a random field model of continuous form to characterize the importance distribution of the random field. The MRSI is analytically derived based on the results of the KL expansion method and the FORM without additional limit state function (LSF) calculations. Subsequently, the important random field domain, in which the variation of the mean of the soil property contributes significantly to the reliability index, is identified based on the MRSI. Last, two foundation engineering examples that consider the cross-correlated random fields of cohesion and friction angle, including strip footing on single-layer soil and pile in multiple-layer soil, were used to verify the proposed method. The results showed that an important random field domain with a small area dominates the variation of the reliability index of a foundation, and important random field domain area increases with autocorrelation distance (ACD). This innovative identification method holds great engineering significance, because it allows geotechnical practitioners to gain a comprehensive understanding of the failure modes and foundation treatment areas of foundations in spatially varying soil. Immune evasion contributes to cancer growth and progression. Cancer cells have the ability to activate different immune checkpoint pathways that harbor immunosuppressive functions. The programmed death protein 1 (PD-1) and programmed cell death ligands (PD-Ls) are considered to be the major immune checkpoint molecules. The interaction of PD-1 and PD-L1 negatively regulates adaptive immune response mainly by inhibiting the activity of effector T cells while enhancing the function of immunosuppressive regulatory T cells (Tregs), largely contributing to the maintenance of immune homeostasis that prevents dysregulated immunity and harmful immune responses. However, cancer cells exploit the PD-1/PD-L1 axis to cause immune escape in cancer development and progression. Blockade of PD-1/PD-L1 by neutralizing antibodies restores T cells activity and enhances anti-tumor immunity, achieving remarkable success in cancer therapy. Therefore, the regulatory mechanisms of PD-1/PD-L1 in cancers have attracted an increasing attention. This article aims to provide a comprehensive review of the roles of the PD-1/PD-L1 signaling in human autoimmune diseases and cancers. We summarize all aspects of regulatory mechanisms underlying the expression and activity of PD-1 and PD-L1 in cancers, including genetic, epigenetic, post-transcriptional and post-translational regulatory mechanisms. In addition, we further summarize the progress in clinical research on the antitumor effects of targeting PD-1/PD-L1 antibodies alone and in combination with other therapeutic approaches, providing new strategies for finding new tumor markers and developing combined therapeutic approaches. The age, creatinine, and ejection fraction (ACEF) score has been accepted as a predictor of poor outcome in elective operations. This study aimed to investigate the predictive value of ACEF score in acute type A aortic dissection (AAAD) patients after total arch replacement. A total of 227 AAAD patients from July 2021 and June 2022 were enrolled and divided into Tertiles 1 (ACEF ≤ 0.73), Tertiles 2 (0.73 < ACEF ≤ 0.95), and Tertiles 3 (ACEF > 0.95). Using inverse probability processing weighting (IPTW) to balance the baseline characteristics and compare the outcomes. Cox logistic regression was used to further evaluate the survival prediction ability of ACEF score. The in-hospital mortality was 9.8%. After IPTW, in the baseline characteristics reached an equilibrium, a higher ACEF score before operation still associated with higher in-hospital mortality. After 1 year follow-up, 184 patients (90.6%) survival. Multivariable analysis revealed that ACEF score (adjusted hazard ratio 1.68; 95% confidence interval 1.34–4.91; p = 0.036) and binary ACEF score (adjusted HR 2.26; 95% CI 1.82–6.20; p < 0.001) was independently associated with 1-year survival. In addition, net reclassification improvement (NRI) and integrated differentiation improvement (IDI) verified that the ACEF score and binary ACEF score is an accurate predictive tool in clinical settings. This work numerically and experimentally investigated the effect of the characteristic structure of nested composite fuel grains on their combustion properties. The characteristic structure comprised multiple helical grooves inside the fuel grain port, which formed during the combustion process. Three-dimensional steady-state simulations were employed to analyze the burning behavior of composite fuel grains with different scales of the characteristic structure (i.e., groove depth) of 0, 1, and 2 mm. An obvious swirl-gas flow field and large tangential velocity appeared for fuel grains with the characteristic structure, which was conductive to enhancing the propellant mixing. A larger flame region and more intense burning were correspondingly achieved, during which greater amounts of H 2 O and CO 2 were generated than by fuel grain without the characteristic structure. Numerical results verified that the characteristic structure was theoretically beneficial to improving the combustion properties of the grains. Firing experiments were conducted using a laboratory-scale hybrid rocket engine with oxygen as the oxidizer. The flame structure and pulsation features were synchronously analyzed using a radiation imaging technique. Pure paraffin-based fuel grains with a circular port were tested for comparison. Both regression rates and combustion efficiencies of the composite fuel grains with characteristic structure scales of 1 mm and 2 mm showed significant improvement. The flame images exhibited an obvious helical shape and large area, which was consistent with the numerical analysis. There have been mixed findings on whether social media use is positively or negatively related to well-being. Using the Midlife in the United States Refresher study (N = 782, age 25–75), multilevel structural equation modeling examined social support quantity (time giving and receiving) and quality of as mediators at both the within- (intraindividual) and between-person (interindividual) levels. Giving support significantly mediated at within- and between-person levels: more social media use was associated with more time giving support and worse well-being. Receiving support significantly mediated at the between-person level: more social media use was associated with more time receiving support and worse well-being. When examining social support quality as a mediator, findings showed that more social media use to contact family/friends was related to better social support quality and better well-being. GIL/GIS bus is widely used in the field of power transmission and distribution, and the demand for lightweight is becoming more and more prominent. To reduce the weight of the bus and ensure the safety and reliability of the structure, a new 6σ robust design method of the GIL/GIS bus based on electric‐thermal‐mechanical co‐simulation is proposed. Taking a 550 kV/5000A bus as the initial structure, considering the uncertainty of product size and performance, a 6σ robust lightweight model of bus insulation electric field strength, current temperature rise, and mechanical stress multi‐performance co‐simulation is established. The finite element numerical calculation method is used to calculate and analyze the performance parameters of the bus. The Kriging surrogate model is used to form the response surface, and the optimal bus structure is obtained by genetic algorithm. The results show that after the robustness optimization, the performance of the bus meets the design requirements, the weight per meter decreased from 65.11 to 39.12 kg, and the lightweight effect is remarkable. Compared with the traditional deterministic optimization design, the reliability of the structure is improved. This study aims to propose and develop a fast, accurate, and robust prediction method of patient-specific organ doses from CT examinations using minimized computational resources. We randomly selected the image data of 723 patients who underwent thoracic CT examinations. We performed auto-segmentation based on the selected data to generate the regions of interest (ROIs) of thoracic organs using the DeepViewer software. For each patient, radiomics features of the thoracic ROIs were extracted via the Pyradiomics package. The support vector regression (SVR) model was trained based on the radiomics features and reference organ dose obtained by Monte Carlo (MC) simulation. The root mean squared error (RMSE), mean absolute percentage error (MAPE), and coefficient of determination (R-squared) were evaluated. The robustness was verified by randomly assigning patients to the train and test sets of data and comparing regression metrics of different patient assignments. For the right lung, left lung, lungs, esophagus, heart, and trachea, results showed that the trained SVR model achieved the RMSEs of 2 mGy to 2.8 mGy on the test sets, 1.5 mGy to 2.5 mGy on the train sets. The calculated MAPE ranged from 0.1 to 0.18 on the test sets, and 0.08 to 0.15 on the train sets. The calculated R-squared was 0.75 to 0.89 on test sets. By combined utilization of the SVR algorithm and thoracic radiomics features, patient-specific thoracic organ doses could be predicted accurately, fast, and robustly in one second even using one single CPU core. Kaempferol (KPR), a flavonoid compound found in various plants and foods, has garnered attention for its anti‐inflammatory, antioxidant, and anticancer properties. In preliminary studies, KPR can modulate several signaling pathways involved in inflammation, making it a candidate for treating cholecystitis. This study aimed to explore the effects and mechanisms of KPR on lipopolysaccharide (LPS)‐induced human gallbladder epithelial cells (HGBECs). To assess the impact of KPR on HGBECs, the HGBECs were divided into control, KPR, LPS, LPS + KPR, and LPS + UDCA groups. Cell viability and cytotoxicity were evaluated by MTT assay and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) assay, respectively, and concentrations of KPR (10–200 μM) were tested. LPS‐induced inflammatory responses in HGBECs were to create an in vitro model of cholecystitis. The key inflammatory markers (IL‐1β, IL‐6, and TNF‐α) levels were quantified using ELISA, The modulation of the MAPK/NF‐κB signaling pathway was measured by western blot using specific antibodies against pathway components (p‐IκBα, IκBα, p‐p65, p65, p‐JNK, JNK, p‐ERK, ERK, p‐p38, and p38). The cell viability and LDH levels in HGBECs were not significantly affected by 50 μM KPR, thus it was selected as the optimal KPR intervention concentration. KPR increased the viability of LPS‐induced HGBECs. Additionally, KPR inhibited the inflammatory factors level (IL‐1β, IL‐6, and TNF‐α) and protein expression (iNOS and COX‐2) in LPS‐induced HGBECs. Furthermore, KPR reversed LPS‐induced elevation of p‐IκBα/IκBα, p‐p65/p65, p‐JNK/JNK, p‐ERK/ERK, and p‐p38/p38 ratios. Despite evidence indicating a connection between inappropriate parenting styles and peer victimization, the dynamic processes and mechanisms underlying this link and whether it is consistent across genders and different developmental stages have yet to be explored. To address these gaps, the current 2-year longitudinal study explored the potential bidirectional associations between parental psychological control and peer victimization, as well as the mediating role of adolescent basic psychological need satisfaction. A total of 4,990 adolescents (49.4% boys, Mage T1 = 12.21 years, SDage T1 = 2.60) across different developmental stages (early adolescents, N = 1,819, 49.2% boys, Mage T1 = 9.34 years, SDage T1 = 0.62; middle adolescents, N = 1,525, 50.75% boys, Mage T1 = 12.47 years, SDage T1 = 0.69; late adolescents, N = 1,646, 46.5% boys, Mage T1 = 15.26 years, SDage T1 = 0.50) participated in this three-wave longitudinal survey. The results revealed that parental psychological control was bidirectionally associated with peer victimization. Additionally, basic psychological need satisfaction played the meditating role in this vicious cycle. Further analysis demonstrated interesting developmental differences. Parental psychological control was directly associated with subsequent peer victimization at all three developmental stages, and peer victimization was only directly associated with subsequent parental psychological control in the next year among early adolescents and middle adolescents. The mutual mediating role of basic psychological need satisfaction between parental psychological control and peer victimization was observed exclusively in early adolescents. Both male and female adolescents could be equally affected by these dynamics. This research underscores the reciprocal dynamics inherent in parent-child interactions, intervening in either of these processes (i.e., family, peers, and adolescent basic psychological need satisfaction) may break this destructive cycle. Understanding drought evolution and its driving factors is crucial for effective water resource management and forecasting. This study enhances the analysis of drought probability by constructing bivariate distributions, providing a more realistic perspective than single-characteristic approaches. Additionally, a meteorological drought migration model is established to explore spatiotemporal paths and related characteristics of major drought events in the Choushui River alluvial fan. The results reveal a significant increase in the probability of southward-moving drought events after 1981. Before 1981, drought paths were diverse, while after 1981, these paths became remarkably similar, following a trajectory from north to south. This is primarily attributed to the higher rainfall in the northern region of the Choushui River alluvial fan from February to April, leading to a consistent southward movement of drought centroids. This study proposes that climate change is a primary factor influencing changes in the spatiotemporal paths of drought. It implies that changes in rainfall patterns and climate conditions can be discerned through the meteorological drought migration model. As a result, it provides the potential for simplifying drought-monitoring methods. These research findings provide further insight into the dynamic process of drought in the Choushui River alluvial fan and serve as valuable references for future water resource management. Background: TiLOOP bra has been used for over 15 years, however, evidence regarding its safety in implant‐based breast reconstruction (IBBR) for patients with breast cancer after mastectomy is still limited. We performed this meta‐analysis to evaluate its risks and benefits in IBBR comparing with other meshes. Methods: Electronic databases were searched to identify relevant studies comparing postoperative complications between TiLOOP bra and other reconstruction techniques in IBBR with or without meshes. We also compared patient satisfaction in physical well‐being between two groups. Risk ratios (RRs) and mean differences with 95% confidence interval (CI) were calculated. Results: Seven studies representing 1203 cases were analyzed. Compared with other meshes, the use of TiLOOP bra significantly reduced the risk of infection (RR = 0.53, 95% CI, 0.32–0.86), seroma (RR = 0.21, 95% CI, 0.07–0.61), red breast syndrome (RR = 0.10, 95% CI, 0.02–0.45), and capsular contracture (RR = 0.20, 95% CI, 0.05–0.75). Patient satisfaction in physical well‐being was comparable between two groups. Conclusions: TiLOOP bra in IBBR has a favored safety profile over other meshes, which significantly reduced postoperative complication risk and did not affect patient satisfaction. Rationale: Phenylethylamines are one of the most common types of new psychoactive substances, following synthetic cannabinoids and synthetic cathinones. They are regulated in many countries because of their strong hallucinogenic effects, which can cause serious nerve damage. There is a wide variety of phenylethylamines, exhibiting rapid renewal and extremely similar structures, therefore accurate qualitative analysis of isomers is a difficult problem in current drug analysis. Methods: The dissociation pathways of the position isomers 2‐(2‐methylaminoprolyl)benzofuran (2‐MAPB) and 5‐(2‐methylaminopropyl)benzofuran (5‐MAPB) were investigated by gas chromatography–mass spectrometry and liquid chromatography coupled to high‐resolution quadrupole Orbitrap MS. The dissociation patterns of the phenethylamine‐based designer drugs 2‐MAPB and 5‐MAPB were explored and extended in this work based on MS combined with density functional theory studies. Results: For electron ionization mass spectrometry (EI‐MS) analysis, the dissociation patterns of 2‐MAPB were similar to those of 5‐MAPB. For electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (ESI‐MSn) analysis, the hydrogen atom on amino group was facile to form a intramolecular hydrogen bond with the oxygen atom on the parent nucleus of benzofuran in the structure of 2‐MAPB, leading to higher abundance of the product ion at m/z 58. However, there was a conjugated system between the positive charge formed by the cleavage of the 5‐MAPB side chain and the benzofuran ring, enabling the 5‐MAPB to generate a product ion at m/z 131. Computational study showed that energy barrier and spin density difference distribution jointly control the selective dissociation in EI‐MS, while different types of orbital interaction induced by intramolecular hydrogen bond led to different dissociation results in ESI‐MSn. Conclusions: These different dissociation patterns could be used to distinguish 2‐MAPB from 5‐MAPB. Understanding how urbanization affects compound hot extremes (CHEs) is important for the sustainable development in urban agglomeration under global warming. In this study, we investigate the changes of CHEs in summer over the Beijing‐Tianjin‐Hebei region (BTH), Yangtze River Delta (YRD) and Pearl River Delta (PRD) in China, and assess the effects of urbanization on these changes. We find that the frequency and intensity of CHEs in summer show significantly increasing trends in these agglomerations in the recent five decades, particularly in megacities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Tianjin. The urbanization contributions to CHEs in the YRD and PRD were estimated to 36 ∼ 58%, while relatively small in the BTH, ranging 16 ∼ 29%. They were bonded to the unban size, expansion speed and local climate. In addition to global warming and urbanization, the strengthening continental high and enhancing Western Pacific Subtropical High and its westward displacement were favor to the increased CHEs. Plain Language Summary: Compound extreme hot events have a great adverse impacts on the natural environment and human society in urban region. Here, we show that frequency and intensity of compound extreme hot events in summer have significantly increased in the three major urban agglomerations during the recent 50 years. These changes have been more intensive in the downtown areas of megacities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Tianjin. We estimated the urbanization contributions accounting for 36 ∼ 58% in Yangtze River Delta and Pearl River Delta, 16 ∼ 29% in the Beijing‐Tianjin‐Hebei region. Furthermore, the strengthening continental high and Western Pacific high were favor to the increase of compound extreme hot events. Cardiac complications are related to poor prognosis after spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH). This study aims to predict the cardiac complications arising from small intracranial hematoma at ultraearly stage. The data of this work were derived from the Risk Stratification and Minimally Invasive Surgery in Acute ICH Patients study (ClinicalTrials.gov Identifier: NCT03862729). This work included patients with ICH but without brain herniation, as confirmed by a brain computed tomography scan within 48 hours of symptom onset. Every Patient's information recorded at the emergent department, including clinical, laboratory, electrocardiogram, and medical records, was derived from the electronic data capture. Cardiac complications were defined as the occurrence of myocardial damage, arrhythmias, and ischemic electrocardiogram changes during hospitalization. Variables associated with cardiac complications were filtrated by univariate and multivariate regression analyses. Independent risk factors were used to form the early predictive model. The restricted cubic splines were employed to investigate the nonlinear associations in a more sophisticated and scholarly manner. A total of 587 ICH patients were enrolled in this work, including 72 patients who suffered from cardiac complications after ICH. Out of the 78 variables, 24 were found to be statistically significant in the univariate logistic regression analysis. These significant variables were then subjected to multivariate logistic regression analysis and utilized for constructing risk models. Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed high plasma fibrinogen (FIB) level [odds ratio (OR) per standard deviation (SD) 1.327, 95% confidence intervals (CI) 1.037–1.697; P = 0. 024)] and older age (OR per SD 1.777, 95% CI 1.344–2.349; P ＜0.001) were associated with a higher incidence of cardiac complications after ICH. High admission pulse rate (OR 0.620, 95% CI 0.451–0.853; P = 0. 003) was considered a protective factor for cardiac complications after ICH. In the restricted cubic spline regression model, FIB and cardiac complications following ICH were positively correlated and almost linearly (P for nonlinearity = 0.073). The reference point for FIB in predicting cardiac complications after ICH was 2.64 g/L. Emergent factors, including plasma FIB level, age, and pulse rate, might be independently associated with cardiac complications after ICH, which warrants attention in the context of treatment. The purposes of this study were to develop and validate a nomogram for predicting postoperative transient neurological dysfunctions (TND) in patients with acute type A aortic dissection (AAAD) who underwent modified triple‐branched stent graft implantation. This retrospective study developed a nomogram‐based model in a consecutive cohort of 146 patients. Patient characteristics, preoperative clinical indices, and operative data were analyzed. Univariate and multivariable analyses were applied to identify the most useful predictive variables for constructing the nomogram. Discrimination and the calibration of the model was evaluated through the receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC), the Hosmer–Lemeshow goodness‐of‐fit test and the decision curve analysis (DCA). At the same time, to identify and compare long‐term cumulative survival rate, Kaplan‐Meier survival curve was plotted. The incidence rate of postoperative TND observed in our cohort were 40.9%. Supra‐aortic dissection with or without thrombosis, creatinine >115 μmol and albumin <39.7 g/L, selective antegrade cerebral perfusion (SACP) time >7 min and total operation time >303 min, were confirmed as independent predictors that enhanced the likelihood of TND. Internal validation showed good discrimination of the model with under the ROC curve (AUC) of 0.818 and good calibration (Hosmer–Lemeshow test, p >.05). DCA revealed that the nomogram was clinically useful. In the long‐term survival there was no significant difference between patients with or without TND history. The results showed the predict model based on readily available predictors has sufficient validity to identify TND risk in this population, that maybe useful for clinical decision‐making. In the present study, we investigated the impact of a word‐problem intervention in retention and acquisition of knowledge after the intervention ended. We based analyses upon Grade 4 students experiencing mathematics difficulty (average age at pretest = 8.77) who received one of two variants of a word‐problem intervention (with [n = 111] vs. without [n = 110] embedded pre‐algebraic reasoning instruction) and students within a business‐as‐usual condition (BaU [n = 127]) separately. Findings revealed that students who received the intervention not only tended to retain less, but they also showed more active knowledge acquisition after the intervention ended. This quasi‐experimental study was designed to investigate the initial efficacy of a fraction‐vocabulary intervention for Grade 4 students with mathematics difficulty (MD) and to explore its impact on relevant fraction competencies. Thirty‐three students were assigned to either the intervention condition (n = 16) or a business‐as‐usual comparison condition (n = 17). The intervention occurred 3 sessions per week for 4 weeks, for a total of 11 sessions. Results indicated the main effect of the fraction‐vocabulary intervention was significant for fraction‐vocabulary posttest and one fraction competency—fraction arithmetic. That is, students with MD can successfully learn fraction vocabulary via a brief intervention, and improved fraction‐vocabulary knowledge may positively affect their fraction competencies. Background and Objectives Family caregivers often experience a high level of stress, social isolation, a sedentary lifestyle, and poor mental and physical health. An exergame intervention was developed to promote physical activity and well-being in family caregivers and to test social support as a mechanism for behavior change. Research Design and Methods The current study was a randomized pilot trial (N = 76) to compare the effectiveness of Go&Grow (social vs nonsocial exergame) to promote well-being through increased social support and physical activity for family caregivers over a 6-week intervention. Results The treatment group increased significantly more than the control group in well-being (management of distress) and social support (satisfaction with contact quality). Social support served as a mechanism (mediator and moderator): The treatment group increased more than the control group in satisfaction with social contact quality, which led to more positive affect and less loneliness. Moreover, those in the treatment group who increased more in overall social support and knowing others' experiences increased their steps more than those with less support, whereas the change in steps for the control group was not related to a support level. Those in the treatment group who used more social features of the app had a greater increase in steps compared with those who used it less. Discussion and Implications Social support in technology interventions is a promising direction to promote caregivers' well-being and physical activity. Social support served as a mechanism of behavior change that can inform more engaging, sustainable, portable, and scalable interventions in the future for sedentary and socially isolated family caregivers. Vast amounts of monitoring data can be obtained through various optical sensors, and mask detection based on deep learning integrates neural science into a variety of applications in everyday life. However, mask detection poses technical challenges such as small targets, complex scenes, and occlusions, which necessitate high accuracy and robustness in multi-scene target detection networks. Considering that multi-scale features can increase the receptive field and attention mechanism can improve the detection effect of small targets, we propose the YOLO-MSM network based on the multi-scale residual (MSR) block, multi-scale residual cascaded channel-spatial attention (MSR-CCSA) block, enhanced residual CCSA (ER-CCSA) block, and enhanced residual PCSA (ER-PCSA) block. Considering the performance and parameters, we use YOLOv5 as the baseline network. Firstly, for the MSR block, we construct hierarchical residual connections in the residual blocks to extract multi-scale features and obtain finer features. Secondly, to realize the joint attention function of channel and space, both the CCSA block and PCSA block are adopted. In addition, we construct a new dataset named Multi-Scene-Mask, which contains various scenes, crowd densities, and mask types. Experiments on the dataset show that YOLO-MSM achieves an average precision of 97.51%, showing better performance than other detection networks. Compared with the baseline network, the mAP value of YOLO-MSM is increased by 3.46%. Moreover, we propose a module generalization improvement strategy (GIS) by training YOLO-MSM on the dataset augmented with white Gaussian addition noise to improve the generalization ability of the network. Di‐ and multinuclear hafnium complexes bridged by ligands have been rarely reported. In this article, a novel 3,5‐disubstituted pyrazolate‐bridged ligand LH5 with two [N2N]2−‐type chelating side arms was designed and synthesized, which supported a series of dinuclear hafnium complexes. Dinuclear hafnium azides [LHf2(μ‐1,1‐N3)2(N3)2][Na(THF)4] 3 and [LHf2(μ‐1,1‐N3)2(N3)2][Na(2,2,2‐Kryptofix)] 4 were further synthesized and structurally characterized, featuring two sets of terminal and bridging azido ligands like jellyfishes. The reactivity of 3 under reduction conditions was conducted, leading to a formation of a tetranuclear hafnium imido complex [L1Hf2(μ1‐NH)(N3){μ2‐K}]25. Gas–surface interactions between thermal protection materials and high-enthalpy nonequilibrium flow are one of the greatest challenges in accurately predicting aerodynamic heating during supersonic flights. Finer microscopic details of flow properties are required for elaborate simulation of these interactions. Spectral insight, with quantum-state-specific characteristics, is provided in this work to investigate the physico-chemical processes in high temperature interface of a carbon/carbon (C/C) composite. The nonequilibrium air flow is produced by a 1.2 MW inductively coupled plasma wind tunnel at an enthalpy of 20.08 MJ/kg. The duration of each test is up to 100 s, and quartz is also tested for comparison. Spectral insights into the reaction mechanisms of the gas–surface interactions are acquired by the optical emission spectroscopy and laser absorption spectroscopy. Dynamic evolution of the chemical reaction pathways and thermal nonequilibrium are discussed based on the results of optical emission spectroscopy. Temporally and spatially resolved results of the translational temperature and number density of atomic oxygen are quantified by laser absorption spectroscopy. Controlling mechanisms in the surface chemistry are further analyzed in conjunction with the surface temperature, scanning electron microscopy, and energy dispersive spectroscopy. Reaction mechanisms on the C/C composite surface sequentially experience an oxidation-dominant, an intense competitive, a nitridation-dominant, and a recession dominant period. Distributions in the axial direction and dynamic characteristics of the translational temperature and number density of atomic oxygen are found closely related with surface swelling, recession, and chemical reactions. Social interactions today expand beyond in-person interactions. Therefore, it is important to recognize that social interactions can occur with social network members across multiple communication modes (in-person, phone, and online). The current study explored the role that social support plays in the relationship between mode frequency (in-person, phone, and online), network communication mode diversity (breadth and evenness of communicating with network members via different communication modes), and well-being (positive affect, stress, and loneliness) from the 3-year UCNET (UC Berkley Social Networks Study, N = 1159) dataset. The study contained samples for two age groups (cohorts) – 21–31 year-olds and 50–70 year-olds, which also allowed for an exploration of age differences in these relationships. Longitudinal random-intercept cross-lagged panel models (RI-CLPM) showed a high degree of stability over the 3 years for all variables. Cross-sectional structural equation mediation models showed that social support mediated the relationships of mode frequency (in-person, phone, and online) and network communication mode diversity with well-being (more positive affect and less loneliness and stress). Age differences were found in the relationship between frequency of communication modes and social support, in that the frequency of communication mode was positively related to social support for younger adults, but not for middle-aged/older adults. Current findings provided future research directions geared toward further understanding of the mode frequency and network communication mode diversity constructs and how they relate to various psychosocial outcomes. Heterometallic oxo clusters have been attracting intensive interest due to their unique properties originating from the synergistic interactions between different components. Herein, we report the construction and catalytic applications of a family of copper-doped polyoxo-titanium clusters (Cu-PTCs) coordinated with different acetate derivative ligands. The solvothermal reactions of metal salts and trimethylacetic acid or 1,2-phenylenediacetic acid in ethanol produced Ti6Cu3(μ3-O)4(μ2-O)(OEt)16(L1)4 (L1 = trimethyl acetate, PTC-367) and H2Ti8Cu2Br2(μ4-O)2(μ2-O)4(OEt)20(L2)2 (L2 = 1,2-phenylenediacetate, PTC-368), respectively. When smaller acetic acid was introduced as a stabilizing ligand, higher nuclei H2Ti16Cu3(μ4-O)5(μ3-O)15(μ2-O)3(OiPr)18(Ac)8 (Ac = acetate, PTC-369) and H3Ti29Cu3(μ4-O)6(μ3-O)30(μ2-O)8(OiPr)17(Ac)20 (PTC-370) were prepared. The number of metal ions exposed on the surface of the four clusters changes due to variations in the steric hindrance of functionalizing ligands, and theoretically, so does their catalytic activity as Lewis acids. In light of this, we conducted a carbon dioxide cycloaddition reaction in an atmospheric environment and the four obtained compounds displayed increasing catalytic activities from PTC-367 to PTC-370. Exploration of exotic spin polarizations in single crystals is of increasing interest. A current of longitudinal spins, the so‐called "Dresselhaus‐like" spin current, which is forbidden in materials lacking certain inversion asymmetries, is implied to be generated by a charge current at the interface of single‐crystal CoFe. This work reports unambiguous evidence that there is no indication of spin current of any spin polarizations from the interface or bulk of single‐crystalline CoFe and that the sin2φ second harmonic Hall voltage, which is previously assumed to signify Dresselhaus‐like spin current, is not related to any spin currents but rather a planar Nernst voltage induced by a longitudinal temperature gradient within the sample. Such sin2φ signal is independent of large applied magnetic fields and interfacial spin‐orbit coupling, inversely correlated to the heat capacity of the substrates and overlayers, quadratic in charge current, and appears also in polycrystalline ferromagnets. Strikingly, the planar Nernst effect (PNE) in the CoFe single crystal has a strong fourfold anisotropy and varies with the crystalline orientation. Such strong, anisotropic PNE has widespread impacts on the analyses of a variety of spintronic experiments and opens a new avenue for the development of PNE‐based thermoelectric battery and sensor applications. High‐performance thermal insulating aerogels are attractive candidates for thermal protection in extreme environments. However, inorganic aerogels' brittleness and poor machinability limit their applications, while organic aerogels suffer from severe strength degradation and structural collapse at high temperatures. Herein, for the first time, a thermo‐responsive self‐ceramifiable aerogel is demonstrated with exceptional strengthening and thermal insulation at high temperatures. This aerogel exhibits excellent toughness and processability like polymers under normal conditions but spontaneously transforms into high‐strength semi‐crystalline hard ceramics upon exposure to high temperatures. After prolonged thermal attack at 800 °C, the strength of the aerogels does not decrease but significantly increases several‐fold (from 0.739 to 2.726 MPa). The self‐ceramization behavior and mechanism of the aerogel are illustrated in detail. The unique self‐ceramifiable capacity enables aerogels to provide fire resistance, high‐strength support, and excellent thermal insulation at ultrahigh temperatures. Even with continuous burning at 1300 °C for 60 min, the 15 mm thick aerogel shows low backside temperature below 300 °C, crack‐free overall structure, and invariant porous morphology. This self‐ceramifiable aerogel opens up a new avenue for developing thermal‐protection materials with toughness, machinability, high strength, and thermal insulation in extreme environments. α‐Synuclein (α‐Syn) is enriched in presynaptic terminals of the central nervous system including the retina and plays a role in the synaptic vesicle cycle and synaptic transmission. Abnormal aggregation of α‐Syn is considered to be the main component of the Lewy bodies that are the pathological hallmarks of Parkinson's disease. Although expression pattern of α‐Syn has been described in the retinas, its precise cellular and subcellular locations are poorly understood. We investigated the precise expression of α‐Syn using light microscopy (LM) and electron microscopy (EM) with antibodies against α‐Syn in the mouse retina. We found that the majority of α‐Syn immunoreactivity (IR) is located in GABAergic, glycinergic, and dopaminergic amacrine cells, and their processes often make a direct synapse to other labeled or unlabeled amacrine profiles, bipolar cell terminals, or ganglion cell dendrites. Further, our LM and immuno‐EM results confirm the absence of α‐Syn in excitatory photoreceptors, bipolar cell bodies, and their ribbon synapses, providing evidence, for the first time, that ribbon synapses do not express α‐Syn. Additionally, α‐Syn IR is located in the ganglion cells, some of which are intrinsically photosensitive retinal ganglion cells. These results reveal a previously unappreciated inhibitory synapse‐specific expression pattern of α‐Syn in the retina, suggesting that α‐Syn may play a distinct role in the modulation and integration of inhibitory synaptic transmission in the retina. The fault detection time identified by relying on the over-voltage criterion of zero-sequence voltage often lags behind the actual occurrence time of ground faults, which may cause fault protection methods based on transient quantity principles to miss fault characteristics and lose their protection capability. To accurately estimate the time of occurrence of a single-phase-to-ground fault, this paper proposes a two-step dimensionality reduction algorithm for estimating the time of occurrence of a single-phase-to-ground fault in a distribution network. This algorithm constructs a filter based on Empirical Mode Decomposition (EMD) to establish a high-dimensional feature dataset based on the zero-sequence current of all feeders. After Principal Component Analysis and Hilbert Mapping Algorithm, the high-dimensional data are reduced to two dimensions to construct a two-dimensional feature dataset. The density-based clustering method is used to adaptively divide the data into two categories, fault data and non-fault data, so as to estimate the time of occurrence of the fault. The paper designs 11 sets of experiments including 7 common high-resistance grounding mediums to verify the accuracy of the fault time recognition of this algorithm. The supercritical carbon dioxide (S-CO2) power cycle is widely applicable to the utilization of multigrade heat sources due to its high efficiency and compact structure, in which the turbine is critical to the performance of the system. In this study, the operation pattern and output performance of an S-CO2 axial turbine with a design power scale of 10 kW power are investigated by experiments and numerical simulations. The loss mechanisms and distributions are analyzed using numerical simulations and loss models. The results show that the turbine output power and efficiency are at 9.66 kW and 36.6% at the designed condition and the output performance depends on the pressure ratio and rational speed. In addition, the flow field distribution reveals that the flow separation phenomenon occurs leading to loss, with the tip clearance loss being the most significant. Furthermore, the loss model validated in this paper is proven to be competent enough to fulfill the prediction of the loss distribution under different operational conditions, which could be very promising in the design of an S-CO2 axial turbine. The research and development of deep learning methods are heavily reliant on large datasets, and there is currently a lack of scene-rich datasets for synthetic aperture radar (SAR) image vehicle detection. To address this issue and promote the development of SAR vehicle detection algorithms, we constructed the SAR Image dataset for VEhicle Detection (SIVED) using Ka, Ku, and X bands of data. Rotatable bounding box annotations were employed to improve positioning accuracy, and an algorithm for automatic annotation was proposed to improve efficiency. The dataset exhibits three crucial properties: richness, stability, and challenge. It comprises 1044 chips and 12,013 vehicle instances, most of which are situated in complex backgrounds. To construct a baseline, eight detection algorithms are evaluated on SIVED. The experimental results show that all detectors achieved high mean average precision (mAP) on the test set, highlighting the dataset's stability. However, there is still room for improvement in the accuracy with respect to the complexity of the background. Understanding how variations in the plasma and brain proteome contribute to multiple sclerosis susceptibility can provide important insights to guide drug repurposing and therapeutic development for multiple sclerosis. However, the role of genetically predicted protein abundance in multiple sclerosis remains largely unknown. Integrating plasma proteomics (n = 3,301) and brain proteomics (n = 376 discovery; n = 152 replication) into multiple sclerosis genome-wide association studies (n = 14,802 cases and 26,703 controls), we employed summary-based methods to identify candidate proteins involved in multiple sclerosis susceptibility. Next, we evaluated associations of the corresponding genes with multiple sclerosis at tissue-level using large gene expression quantitative trait data from whole-blood (n = 31,684) and brain (n = 1,194) tissue. Further, to assess transcriptional profiles for candidate proteins at cell-level, we examined gene expression patterns in immune cell types (dataset 1: n = 73 cases and 97 controls; dataset 2: n = 31 cases and 31 controls) for identified plasma proteins, and in brain cell types (dataset 1: n = 4 cases and 5 controls; dataset 2: n = 5 cases and 3 controls) for identified brain proteins. In a longitudinal multiple sclerosis cohort (n = 203 cases followed up to 15 years), we also assessed the corresponding gene-level associations with the outcome of disability worsening. We identified 39 novel proteins associated with multiple sclerosis risk. Based on five identified plasma proteins, four available corresponding gene candidates showed consistent associations with multiple sclerosis risk in whole-blood, and we found TAPBPL upregulation in multiple sclerosis B cells, CD8+ T cells and natural killer cells compared to controls. Among the 34 candidate brain proteins, 18 were replicated in a smaller cohort and 14 of 21 available corresponding gene candidates also showed consistent associations with multiple sclerosis risk in brain tissue. In cell-specific analysis, six identified brain candidates showed consistent differential gene expression in neuron and oligodendrocyte cell clusters. Based on the 39 protein-coding genes, we found 23 genes that were associated with disability worsening in multiple sclerosis cases. The findings present a set of candidate protein biomarkers for multiple sclerosis, reinforced by high concordance in downstream transcriptomics findings at tissue-level. This study also highlights the heterogeneity of cell-specific transcriptional profiles for the identified proteins, and that numerous candidates were also implicated in disease progression. This study has designed a set of motor operating devices for a 126 kV vacuum circuit breaker (VCB) to improve its reliability and controllability. A finite‐angle permanent magnet brushless motor (FAPMBM) with a multi‐slot stator structure and a dovetail rotor structure has been designed based on the torque and speed requirements of the motor. These requirements were determined by a dynamic analysis of the operating device and its short‐time, finite‐angle working characteristics. The work performance of the prototype motor has been evaluated in an online experiment with a 126 kV VCB, and based on this, a segmented control method has been designed. The motion process of the operating device has been divided into four stages in combination with the output torque demand of the driving motor. At each stage, the output torque of the motor has been changed dynamically to prevent contact collision, shorten the pre‐breakdown time, and make the circuit breaker work more reliably. The results show that the FAPMBM can meet the operating time and speed requirements of the interrupter for the operating device. In addition, the segmented control method improves the work reliability and optimizes the movement of the operating device, which helps the circuit breaker work intelligently. © 2023 Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan. PrBa(Co 1-x Fe x) 2 O 5+δ polymorphs (0.1 < x < 0.4, denoted as PBCF-x with Fe-doping level x) are reported and dual phase of cubic phase Pr 0.5 Ba 0.5 Co 1−x Fe x O 3−δ and tetragonal phase PrBa(Co 1-x Fe x) 2 O 5+δ are co-produced through an common sol–gel method. The co-generation of the dual-phases leads to the formation of abundant hetero-interfaces between the neighboring crystal phases and the synergic effect demonstrates remarkably high oxygen adsorption and dissociation ability in the air. The density functional theory (DFT) calculation establishes that the existence of hetero-interfaces promotes oxygen reduction reaction activity (ORR) which is crucial to improve cathode performance of proton-conducing solid oxide fuel cells (H–SOFCs). Life satisfaction (LS) is a core dimension of subjective well-being and is linked to many life outcomes in adolescents. Among other indicators of optimal functioning in youth, LS has been understudied; not until the last decade did research on adolescent LS show a resurgence. Parent–child attachment relationships are considered a vital factor contributing to adolescent LS. However, extant studies are predominantly cross-sectional, and few studies have examined its underlying mechanisms. This study is designed to bridge those gaps. Drawing on ecological system theories, it examines the association between parent–child attachment relationships and adolescent LS. It also investigates resilience as a mediator and teacher-student relationships (TSR) as a moderator using a three-wave longitudinal design, with a 6-month interval between each wave. Participants were 815 Chinese adolescents (53.9% boys, Mage = 11.53 years) and one of their parents (65.28% mothers). Adolescents reported on TSR at T1, resilience at T2, and LS at T1 and T3, whereas their parents reported on parent–child attachment relationships at T1. Overall, results of the moderated mediation model indicate that after controlling for T1 LS and covariates, T1 parent–child attachment relationships predicted T3 LS via T2 resilience only for adolescents with a high-quality TSR but not for those with a low or medium quality of TSR. This research contributes to the literature on the synergistic interplay between interpersonal and intrapersonal resources in predicting resilience and LS in adolescents. Purpose: Computed tomography (CT) image-based patient-specific voxelbased dosimetry has difficulties complementing missing tissues for organs located partially inside or completely outside the image volume. Previous studies constructed patient-specific whole-body models by rescaling reference phantoms or extending regional CT images with manually adjusted phantoms. This study proposes a methodology for automatic organ completion of regional CT images for CT dosimetry using a stitching approach. Methods: Virtual clinical trials were performed by truncating whole-body CT images to generate virtual clinical chest and abdominopelvic CT images. Corresponding anchor images for each patient were selected according to sex and similarity of the axial length and water equivalent diameter of the virtual regional CT images. Automatic image stitching was performed by transformation initialization and iteration, while the stitched CT images and organ atlas were used in GPU-based Geant4 Monte Carlo simulations to generate a radiation dose map and absorbed organ dose. To evaluate the performance of the stitching model in radiation dosimetry, organ mass differences and Jaccard’s coefficient of stitched and rescaled anchor images were calculated, and the radiation doses were compared among the corresponding values from the VirtualDose®, original whole-body CT, stitching model, regional CT, registration-based rescaling method, and WED-based rescaling method. Results: The anatomical accuracy of stitched images was significantly improved. For organs partially inside the image volume, organ dose estimation from the stitching model could be more accurate than that reported in previous studies. The absolute differences in effective dose from the stitched images were 6.55% and 4.81% for chest and abdominopelvic CT scans, respectively. Conclusion: The proposed automatic stitching model partially complements organs inside or outside the CT scan range and provides more accurate anatomical representations for radiation dosimetry than traditional phantom rescaling methods. Following spinal cord injury (SCI), astrocyte activation and proliferation result in the development of glial scars, which impede axonal growth and neurological recovery. Dysregulation of microRNAs (miRNAs) during SCI results in altered expression of downstream genes. Our previous study has revealed that miR-135a-5p regulates neuronal apoptosis and axonal growth by targeting specificity protein 1 (SP1). This study attempted to investigate whether the miR-135a-5p/SP1 axis has regulatory effect on astrocytes. Herein, lipopolysaccharide (LPS) reduced miR-135a-5p expression in astrocytes. miR-135a-5p overexpression in astrocytes resulted in a decrease in CyclinD1, MMP9, GFAP, and vimentin proteins, and thus attenuated LPS-induced proliferation and migration of astrocytes. Moreover, miR-135a-5p overexpression decreased astrocyte size and the total quantity of cell protrusions, suggesting a role for miR-135a-5p in regulating astrocyte morphology. SP1 silencing also decreased astrocyte proliferation and migration by LPS. SP1 silencing could significantly reverse the promoting effect of miR-135a-5p inhibition on astrocyte proliferation and migration. In summary, the miR-135a-5p/SP1 axis regulates astrocyte proliferation and migration after SCI. This finding benefits for the development of novel ways in treating SCI effectively. This meta-analysis systematically investigated the pathways to the Quantity-Number Competencies (QNC) model based on 78 studies involving 21,860 children. The QNC model assumes children acquire early numeracy via three developmental levels: QNC Level I (Basic numerical skills), QNC Level IIa (imprecise quantity to number-word linkage) and QNC Level IIb (precise quantity to number-word linkage), and QNC Level III (relations between numerical quantities). Findings showed (1) all the involved linguistic skills had effects on QNC Levels I and III, whereas only vocabulary yielded support for QNC Level II; (2) phonological and visuospatial working memory made comparable contributions to all QNC levels; (3) most paths within QNC stayed stable with development, with the path coefficient from QNC Level IIa to QNC Level III increased significantly with age; and (4) the path coefficient from QNC Level I to QNC Level IIb increased as the proportion of girls increased in the sample. These findings suggest the phonological awareness might primarily support representations for number words and number facts, whereas vocabulary might facilitate the linkage between number words and quantities. The access control (AC) system in an IoT (Internet of Things) context ensures that only authorized entities have access to specific devices and that the authorization procedure is based on pre-established rules. Recently, blockchain-based AC systems have gained attention within research as a potential solution to the single point of failure issue that centralized architectures may bring. Moreover, zero-knowledge proof (ZKP) technology is included in blockchain-based AC systems to address the issue of sensitive data leaking. However, current solutions have two problems: (1) systems built by these works are not adaptive to high-traffic IoT environments because of low transactions per second (TPS) and high latency; (2) these works cannot fully guarantee that all user behaviors are honest. In this work, we propose a blockchain-based AC system with zero-knowledge rollups to address the aforementioned issues. Our proposed system implements zero-knowledge rollups (ZK-rollups) of access control, where different AC authorization requests can be grouped into the same batch to generate a uniform ZKP, which is designed specifically to guarantee that participants can be trusted. In low-traffic environments, sufficient experiments show that the proposed system has the least AC authorization time cost compared to existing works. In high-traffic environments, we further prove that based on the ZK-rollups optimization, the proposed system can reduce the authorization time overhead by 86%. Despite the importance of enantioenriched alcohols in medicinal chemistry, total synthesis, and materials science, the efficient and selective construction of enantioenriched tertiary alcohols bearing two contiguous stereocenters has remained a substantial challenge. We report a platform for their preparation through the enantioconvergent, nickel-catalyzed addition of organoboronates to racemic, nonactivated ketones. We prepared several important classes of a,b-chiral tertiary alcohols in a single step with high levels of diastereo- and enantioselectivity through a dynamic kinetic asymmetric addition of aryl and alkenyl nucleophiles. We applied this protocol to modify several profen drugs and to rapidly synthesize biologically relevant molecules. Introduction: Although poor parental supervision has been associated with an increased adolescents' propensity for risk-taking behavior, few researchers have investigated nuanced mechanisms of how and for whom from the perspective of "family × school." Inspired by ecological system theory and self-control theory, this study aimed to investigate the mediating role of self-control and the moderating role of school climate between the link between poor parental supervision and risk-taking behavior.Methods: Four hundred and ninety-one Chinese adolescents (231 females, Mage  = 15.39 ± 1.36) were recruited to participate in a three-wave longitudinal study (3 months apart) and complete questionnaires regarding poor parental supervision (W1), school climate (W1), self-control (W2), and risk-taking behavior (W1/W3).Results: After controlling for W1 risk-taking behavior, our moderated mediation model indicated that W1 poor parental supervision was positively related to W3 risk-taking behavior by restraining the development of W2 self-control. Additionally, a high level of school climate as a protective factor buffered the negative impact of poor parental supervision on adolescents' self-control, further reducing risk-taking behavior.Conclusion: Our findings shed light on the processing mechanisms between poor parental supervision and risk-taking behavior among Chinese adolescents and underscore the importance of effective preventions and interventions to facilitate adolescents' healthy development. Hypertensive disorders of pregnancy (HDP) is associated with an increased risk of adverse outcomes. The fetal middle cerebral artery (MCA) and umbilical artery (UA) blood flow detected by ultrasound are recommended to evaluate the oxygenation of the fetus. It is necessary to analyze the relationship between MCA & UA doppler indices or cerebroplacental ratio (CPR) and fetal outcomes and describe MCA and UA blood flow values across gestation. Hospital-based retrospective case-control study during 2016 to 2020. 800 singleton pregnant women: 400 normotensive control, 219 gestational hypertension (GH), and 181 preeclampsia (PE)/eclampsia (EC). An analysis of the outcomes of mothers and neonates was performed. The fetal MCA and UA blood flow values across gestation were established, and MCA-resistance index (RI) and CPR were used to predict fetal distress and small for gestational age (SGA). In the normotensive control, GH and PE/EC groups, the mean gestational age (GA) was 38.9 ± 1.2 weeks, 39.0 ± 1.0 weeks, and 38.6 ± 1.3 weeks respectively, and the mean birth weight (BW) was 3.195 ± 0.387 kilograms, 3.198 ± 0.428 kilograms, and 2.987 ± 0.544 kilograms respectively. There were differences in GA, BW, fetal distress, SGA and intraventricular hemorrhage I-II between the hypertension group and normotensive control group (p < 0.05). The MCA-RI (sensitivity: 70.1%, specificity: 64.3%) and MCA-RI (sensitivity: 52.4%, specificity: 84.6%) were the best indices to predict fetal distress and SGA, respectively during GA of 35-40 weeks. Hyperuricemia is an independent risk factor for the progression of chronic kidney disease. High levels of uric acid can lead to a series of pathological conditions, such as gout, urinary stones, inflammation, and uric acid nephropathy. There is a close relationship between uric acid and the NLRP3 inflammasome. NLRP3 inflammasome activation can cause cell damage and even death through endoplasmic reticulum stress, lysosome destruction, mitochondrial dysfunction, and the interaction between the Golgi apparatus and extracellular vesicles. In addition, the NLRP3 inflammasome acts as a molecular platform, triggering the activation of caspase-1 and the lysis of IL-1β, IL-18 and Gasdermin D (GSDMD) through different molecular mechanisms. Cleaved NT-GSDMD forms pores in the cell membrane and triggers pyrophosphorylation, thereby inducing cell death and releasing many intracellular proinflammatory molecules. In recent years, studies have found that hyperuricemia or uric acid crystals can activate NLRP3 inflammasomes, and the activation of NLRP3 inflammasomes plays an important role in kidney disease. As one of the important additive manufacturing techniques, selective laser melting (SLM) has shown great advantage in the production of metal matrix composite components with complex geometry. However, the layer-by-layer manufacturing procedure causes a nonnegligible thermal accumulation and cycling. Thus, the SLM-deposited component always presents gradient microstructure and mechanical properties. In this work, the dense TiB2p/2024Al composite prepared by SLM was employed to investigate the heat-induced microstructure evolution and mechanical properties. The as-deposited composite presents a uniform distribution of TiB2 reinforced particle in α-Al matrix with an oriented < 100 > texture α-Al dendrite microstructure. The yield strength (YS), ultimate tensile strength (UTS), and the elongation of as-deposited sample increase from 230.06 MPa, 302.52 MPa, and 4.49% to 244.17 MPa, 365.36 MPa, and 11.48% from the bottom to top regions. According to the TEM results, this phenomenon is attributed to the high cooling rate induced low content of θ-Al2Cu phase at the bottom of the sample. In addition, agglomeration of the TiB2 particles due to the insufficient convention is responsible to the poor elongation at the bottom of the sample. After the solid solution and aging heat treatment (T6), thanks to the uniform distribution of S strengthening phases, this gradient in microstructure and mechanical properties in the deposit can be eliminated, and the deposit presents higher YS, UTS, and a lower elongation of 380.23 MPa, 421.50 MPa, and 3.14%. Described is our effort toward establishing a practical and sustainable synthesis of bis(2‐hydroxy‐3,5‐di‐t‐butylphenyl)methanone. In it, we found the phenol‐aldehyde condensation could be efficiently catalyzed by sulfonic acid‐functionalized microporous carbon spheres (MCS‐SO3H). Additionally, we developed practical and sustainable procedures for the synthesis of the title ligand by applying readily available reagents in lieu of toxic chromium trioxide and fuming boron tribromide. Organic carbon (OC) source attribution for cascade reservoir sediments has been identified as a critical gap in understanding the effective carbon sink of inland waters. In this study, nine sediment cores were collected from cascade reservoirs in the Wujiang and Pearl Rivers. We analyzed lignin phenol (Λ8), total organic carbon (TOC) content, and stable carbon isotopic composition (δ13C) of the sediments, focusing on the changes of terrigenous OC, and the variation of OC source in cascade reservoir sediments after damming. Our results showed that the Σ8 and TOC contents decreased from upstream to downstream reservoirs, indicating the significant interception of terrigenous OC by cascade damming. Additionally, the Λ8 content in the Pearl River reservoir sediments was much higher than that in the Wujiang River. From the three-end-member mixing model, we estimated that OC in reservoir sediments mainly comes from soil and plankton. After damming, the proportion of plankton OC in TOC slightly increased in seasonal and annual regulation reservoirs due to the limnetic evolution of the reservoir. These findings suggest that the cascade damming increases the interception capacity of the river to terrigenous OC and nutrients, and that slowing of water velocity caused by damming affected primary productivity and fluvial carbon cycling.
