Asia Pacific Journal of Tourism Research was created in 1995 and published articles in 1996. This study analyzes the journal using bibliometric methods for 1243 articles published in the journal from 1996 to 2023. It uses several indicators to demonstrate the journal's performance and contributions. The study shows that the most productive country and author are China and Rob Law, respectively. Furthermore, the collaboration, co-citation, and co-occurrence networks are created using Gephi, VOSviewer, and CiteSpace. This study provides a comprehensive overview and APJTR may later focus on topics such as tourist destinations, consumer behavior, smart tourism, and sustainable development. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Aptamer-based lateral flow analysis (Apt-LFAs) has promising applications in many fields. Nanozymes have demonstrated high potential in improving the performance of Apt-LFAs and have been increasingly utilized in recent studies. In this study, we developed a nanozyme-based Apt-LFA for the rapid and sensitive detection of kanamycin by using a novel dual-functionalized AuNPs@polyA-DNA/GpG-Cu2+ nanozyme as a nanoprobe. In the nanoprobe design, the polyA-cDNA strand can discriminate a kanamycin aptamer from the kanamycin/aptamer complex, and the GpG-Cu2+ complex can amplify the detection signal by catalyzing the chromogenic reaction. The nanozyme Apt-LFA can quantify kanamycin in the range of 1–250 ng/mL with an LOD of 0.08 ng/mL, which demonstrated a 4-fold sensitivity improvement and had a wider linear range than the conventional AuNP-based LFA. The Apt-LFA was successfully applied to the detection of kanamycin in honey with good recoveries. Our dual-functionalized AuNP nanoprobe is easily prepared and can be highly compatible with the conventional AuNP-DNA-based LFA platform; thus, it can be extended to the application of Apt-LFAs for other small molecules. Online video platforms face the challenge of balancing the needs of their users with those of their advertisers. Although users typically prefer to have less intrusive ads, advertisers aim to effectively catch user attention. This paper investigates how the provision of ad choice affects the effectiveness of video advertising. We argue that allowing users to choose an ad to view may trigger a "conjecture-formation-and-confirmation" process that motivates users to pay more attention to the selected ad. Two online experiments and four laboratory experiments are conducted to test the theorized underlying mechanism of the ad choice effect. Study 1 finds when users are unfamiliar (versus familiar) with the content of ad options (i.e., they need to make conjectures about ad content), ad choice is more likely to increase user attention to the chosen ad. Study 2 and Study 3 show that the impact of ad choice on user attention is more likely to be positive when users are enabled to make conjectures about ad content, such as when choice options provide more relevant information about ad content. Study 4a and Study 4b provide more direct support for the underlying mechanism by showing that the ad choice effect is attenuated when users cannot form conjectures about ad content at the choice stage. Study 5 further demonstrates that the positive effect of ad choice is robust across different ad settings. Taken together, these studies show ad choice is more likely to boost the effectiveness of video advertising when the "conjecture-formation-and-confirmation" process is triggered. Thermoplastic polyamide elastomers (TPAEs) were synthesized using polyamide 6 (PA6) as hard segments and polyethylene glycol (PEG) as soft segments. The prepared TPAEs showed a superior mechanical property and thermal property, which the strength and elongation-at-break reached 35.50 [+ or -] 3.54 MPa and (316.05 [+ or -] 20.58)%, respectively, when the molecular weight of soft segment was 600. Furthermore, crystallization property and microphase separation of TPAEs were also investigated in detail, having a significant influence on the foaming behavior of the obtain elastomers. Owing to the restriction of crystalline hard segments, only a few cells formed in the amorphous soft segment regions at foaming temperature of 140[degrees]C, while it transformed to larger cells with a thin cell wall at foaming temperature of 160[degrees]C and above. When the molecular weight of soft segment increased from 300 to 1000, the average cell size of the foamed TPAEs at 160[degrees]C enlarged from 28.73 to 42.17 [micro]m, while the cell density decreased from 5.26 x [10.sup.8] #/[cm.sup.3] to 4.25 x [10.sup.8] #/[cm.sup.3], both expansion ratio and shrinkage ratio increased gradually. Snow and frozen soil are important factors that influence terrestrial water and energy balances through snowpack accumulation and melt and soil freeze-thaw. In this study, a new land surface model (LSM) with coupled snow and frozen soil physics was developed based on a hydrologically improved LSM (HydroSiB2). First, an energy-balance-based three-layer snow model was incorporated into HydroSiB2 (hereafter HydroSiB2-S) to provide an improved description of the internal processes of the snow pack. Second, a universal and simplified soil model was coupled with HydroSiB2-S to depict soil water freezing and thawing (hereafter HydroSiB2-SF). In order to avoid the instability caused by the uncertainty in estimating water phase changes, enthalpy was adopted as a prognostic variable instead of snow/soil temperature in the energy balance equation of the snow/frozen soil module. The newly developed models were then carefully evaluated at two typical sites of the Tibetan Plateau (TP) (one snow covered and the other snow free, both with underlying frozen soil). At the snow-covered site in northeastern TP (DY), HydroSiB2-SF demonstrated significant improvements over HydroSiB2-F (same as HydroSiB2-SF but using the original single-layer snow module of HydroSiB2), showing the importance of snow internal processes in three-layer snow parameterization. At the snow-free site in southwestern TP (Ngari), HydroSiB2-SF reasonably simulated soil water phase changes while HydroSiB2-S did not, indicating the crucial role of frozen soil parameterization in depicting the soil thermal and water dynamics. Finally, HydroSiB2-SF proved to be capable of simulating upward moisture fluxes toward the freezing front from the underlying soil layers in winter.
