Background: To assess the prophylactic effect of simultaneous placement of mesh and incidence of parastomal hernia (PSH) after abdominoperineal resection of rectal cancer. Methods: This study included real world data of 56 surgically resected colorectal cancer (CRC) patients who were consecutively assigned to 2 groups: control (no mesh, n=32) and experimental (received mesh, n=24). An artificial patch was placed under the tunica vaginalis of rectus abdominis for patients in experimental group whereas the control group received routine sigmoidostomy. The median follow-up time was >20 months. Difference in hazards function was analyzed by cox regression analysis and results were expressed as hazard ratio (HR) and 95% confidence interval (CI). A P-value < 0.05 was considered as significant. Results: Post-operative incidence rate of PSH was lower in experimental (41.7 %) than in control group (71.9 %; P=0.045). PSH postoperative time in experimental group was significantly delayed than control group (48 months vs 10 months; PConclusions: Prophylactic mesh placement significantly prolonged post-operative time to recurrence and incidence rate of PSH. The incidence of recurrence of H2 (severe PSH) requiring secondary surgical repair was reduced.

Triptolide (TP) has limited usage in clinical practice due to its side effects and toxicity, especially liver injury. Hepatic macrophages, key player of liver innate immunity, were found to be recruited and activated by TP in our previous study. The nuclear factor-erythroid-2-related factor 2 (Nrf2) pathway exerts a protective role in TP-induced liver damage, but its effect on the functions of hepatic macrophage has not been elucidated. Here, we determined whether TP can regulate the recruitment and polarization of hepatic macrophages by inhibiting Nrf2 signaling cascade. Our results demonstrated that TP inhibited the Nrf2 signaling pathway in hepatic macrophages. The changes in hepatic macrophages were responsible for the increased susceptibility toward inflammatory stimuli, and hence, TP pretreatment could induce severe liver damage upon the stimulation of a nontoxic dose of lipopolysaccharides. In addition, the Nrf2 agonist protected macrophages from TP-induced toxicity and Nrf2 deficiency significantly aggravated liver injury by enhancing the recruitment and M1 polarization of hepatic macrophages. This study suggests that Nrf2 pathway-mediated hepatic macrophage polarization plays an essential role in TP-induced liver damage, which can serve as a potential therapeutic target for preventing hepatotoxicity induced by TP.

Cancer stem cells (CSCs) are responsible for drug resistance, cancer relapse, and metastasis. Here, we report the first analysis of Palladin expression and its impacts on stem cell-like properties in lung cancer.Tissue microarrays were used to investigate Palladin expression and its association with prognosis. Immunofluorescence (IF), flow fluorescence assay, and Western blot were performed to detect Palladin expression in 6 NSCLC cell lines. Cell phenotypes and drug resistance were evaluated. Xenograft models were constructed to confirm the role of Palladin in vivo.By using the tissue microarrays, Palladin was identified to be highly expressed in the cytoplasm, specifically in the cytomembrane of NSCLC, and its high expression is associated with poor prognosis. Palladin is widely expressed and enriched in the sphere cells. The in vitro and in vivo studies showed that Palladin promoted stem cell-like properties, including cell viability, invasion, migration, self-renewal abilities, taxol resistance, and tumorigenicity. Western blot revealed that Palladin promoted the accumulation of β-catenin and activated Wnt/β-catenin signaling. Tissue microarrays analysis further confirmed the positive correlation between Palladin and β-catenin. Wnt/β-catenin pathway inhibitor blocked the Palladin-induced enhancement of sphere-forming.Palladin might act as an oncogene by promoting CSCs-like properties and tumorigenicity of NSCLC cells via the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway. Besides, Palladin was identified to have the potential as a cell surface marker for LCSCs identification. These findings provide a possible target for developing putative agents targeted to LCSCs.

Object: L6 cells were cultured to explore the possible mechanism underlying the improvement of insulin resistance by Liraglutide (LR). Methods: Cells were divided into 5 groups—control, high-fat, 10 nmol/L LR + 0.6 mmol/L palmitic acid (PA) (10LR), 100 nmol/L LR + 0.6 mmol/L PA (100LR), and 1000 nmol/L LR + 0.6 mmol/L PA (1000LR). CCK-8 method to detect cell viability, GPO-PAP enzymatic method to detect intracellular triglyceride content, and reverse transcription quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR) and western blotting methods to detect fatty acid translocase CD36 (FAT /CD36) and fatty acid binding protein 4 (FABP4) in L6 cells, glucose-regulated protein 78 (GRP78), glucose transporter 4 (GLUT4) expression at the mRNA and protein levels, respectively, were performed. Results: We found that after PA intervention for 24 h, the cell viability decreased significantly; the cell viability of the LR group was higher than that of the high-fat group (P < 0.01). After PA intervention, compared with those in the high-fat group, GRP-78, FAT/CD36, FABP4 mRNA [(4.36 ± 0.32 vs 8.15 ± 0.35); (1.00 ± 0.04 vs 2.46 ± 0.08); (2.88 ± 0.55 vs 8.29 ± 0.52), P < 0.01] and protein [(3338.13 ± 333.15 vs 4963.98 ± 277.29); (1978.85 ± 124.24 vs 2676.07 ± 100.64); (3372.00 ± 219.84 vs 6083.20 ± 284.70), both P < 0.01] expression decreased in the LR group. The expression levels of GLUT4 mRNA [(0.75 ± 0.04 vs 0.34 ± 0.03), P < 0.01] and protein [(3443.71 ± 191.89 vs 2137.79 ± 118.75), P < 0.01] increased. Conclusion: Therefore, we conclude that LR can reverse PA-induced cell inactivation and lipid deposition, which may be related to the change in GRP-78, FAT /CD36, FABP4, GLUT4 and other factors.

Erysolin and its two metabolites which were found in blood, ERY-GSH and ERY-NAC, were synthesized by alkylation, amination, isothiocyanation and oxidation reactions from 1-bromo-4-chlorobutane and sodium methyl mercaptide. The reaction temperature, time, feed ratios and purification method were also optimized. The synthesis method was simple, green, safe and low-cost. Erysolin, ERY-GSH and ERY-NAC showed good antitumor activities against MCF-7, HeLa, HepG2, A549 and SW480 cells, which suggested that the antitumor mechanism of erysolin can also be clarified from its metabolites in addition to itself.

Therefore, we conclude that LR can reverse PA-induced cell inactivation and lipid deposition, which may be related to the change in GRP-78, FAT/CD36, FABP4, GLUT4, and other factors.

Breast cancer is the most dominant cancer in women and the second most frequent cancer in the general population worldwide. NLRC5 critically transactivates MHC class I (classically HLA-ABC in human) which is crucial for cancer immunosurveillance. But the expressional and functional impairments of NLRC5 have been found in many cancers as a major mechanism of immune evasion. Background Since our hospital installed the DaVinci ® Xi system, we have performed 60 thoracic surgeries in four months. As 25 of these 60 patients contain various types of esophageal benign and malignant diseases, we have no time to summarize our work after understanding and learning the experience of previous experts, so as to share our preliminary experience in using DaVinci ® Xi system in esophageal surgery. Because robot surgery system is the most effective for small and hard to reach areas, we have made many attempts in benign esophageal diseases. Compared with DaVinci ® Si, DaVinci ® Xi has many new functions, so we explore new surgical methods for some special esophageal cancer cases, such as the robot assisted modified Sweet operation.Methods Using DaVinci® Xi system(Intuitive Surgical, China), we performed robotic assisted thoracoscopic surgery (RATS) on 15 patients with esophageal cancer and 10 patients with various types of esophageal benign diseases. Among all esophageal cancer patients, 6 patients with lower esophageal cancer underwent resection of left thoracic esophageal cancer and lymphadenectomy, then diaphragm was cut, stomach was separated from abdominal cavity and lymphadenectomy was performed. Finally, 5 cases were anastomosed with stomach and esophagus under the aortic arch, and 1 case was anastomosed with stomach and esophagus in the neck combined with mediastinoscopic neck lymphadenectomy. McKeown was performed in 3 of the other 9 cases. Six patients underwent the Ivor Lewis operation, one of them was converted to the left thoracogastrostomy because of the extensive adhesion of the right thoracic cavity. Other benign diseases included esophageal leiomyomectomy in 3 cases, esophageal diverticulum in 1 case, hiatal hernia in 4 cases, esophageal cyst in 1 case, achalasia in 1 case. Results All the procedures were successfully completed by robot except one patient with extensive adhesion of right thoracic cavity and only abdominal operation. The median operation time of esophageal cancer patients was 286（240-348 minutes,There were no complications during operation. One patient had a neck anastomotic leakage and the wound healed after local washing for 3 weeks. Because of the short time of observation, there is no death of malignant tumor and no serious complication of benign disease. Conclusions Through the experience of such a small series of robotic assisted thoracoscopic surgery for various esophageal diseases, we support the impression that: 1. The esophagus is an ideal organ for robotic surgery, which is a good indication for malignant tumor surgery; 2. Under the vision of the robot, each layer of esophageal mucosa can be seen clearly, which is very conducive to the resection of small leiomyoma or cyst In addition, 3. Flexible arms can be used for various anastomosis or suture operations. 4. Through the left thorax and diaphragm incision can be used as a "robot" Sweet operation for the right patient, with mediastinoscopy to clean up the upper mediastinal lymph nodes can achieve better results.

In this study,a method using ultra performance liquid chromatography tandem quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry( UPLC-Q-TOF-MS/MS) was established to identify complicated chemical constituents of Wikstroemia indica. Chromatographic separation was performed on an AcclaimTMRSLC 120-C18 column( 2. 1 mm×100 mm,2. 2 μm) using gradient elution with 0. 2% ammonium formate buffer salt solution( A)-0. 2% ammonium formate buffer salt solution methanol( B) as mobile phase. The column temperature was maintained at 30 ℃. The analytes were determined by positive and negative ion modes with electro-spray ionization source. A total of 52 compounds( including eleven coumarins,thirteen flavonoids,ten lignans,two amides,four phenolic acids,six sesquiterpenes and six other compounds) were identified or tentatively characterized from the water extract of W. indica by comparing their retention times and MS spectra with those of authentic standards or literature datas. Three compounds were found for the first time from W.indica namely isomer of indicanone,β-hydroxypropiovanillone and epiprocurcumenol. Furthermore,the fragmentation rules of some compounds were speculated and summarized. In addition,the cleavage pathways of guaiane sesquiterpenes were described for the first time,which can provide reference for studying the fragmentation pathways of similar compounds. This study provides an easy way to identify chemical constituents of traditional Chinese medicine and a basis for the further study on chemical fundamentals of W. indica.

With the internationally growing popularity of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), TCM-induced nephropathy has attracted public attention. Minimizing this toxicity is an important issue for future research. Typical nephrotoxic TCM drugs such as Aristolochic acid, Tripterygium wilfordii Hook. f, Rheum officinale Baill, and cinnabar mainly damage renal proximal tubules or cause interstitial nephritis. Transporters in renal proximal tubule are believed to be critical in the disposition of xenobiotics. In this review, we provide information on the alteration of renal transporters by nephrotoxic TCMs, which may be helpful for understanding the nephrotoxic mechanism of TCMs and reducing adverse effects. Studies have proven that when administering nephrotoxic TCMs, the expression or function of renal transporters is altered, especially organic anion transporter 1 and 3. The alteration of these transporters may enhance the accumulation of toxic drugs or the dysfunction of endogenous toxins and subsequently sensitize the kidney to injury. Transporters-related drug combination and clinical biomarkers supervision to avoid the risk of future toxicity are proposed.

Ganoderma lucidum (Fr.) Karst (Ganodermataceae) is a medicinal mushroom that has been extensively used in China for centuries to promote longevity and improve vigor without significant adverse effects. There is continuous interest in the bioactive properties of G. lucidum in view of its newly developed popularity in other regions besides Asia, such as Europe. Glycopeptide derived from G. lucidum (Gl-PS) is one of the main effective components isolated from this mushroom. The Gl-PS has been demonstrated pleiotropic with many bioactivities including immunomodulatory and antitumor effects. Macrophages are important cells involved in innate and adaptive immunity. Classically activated macrophages (M1) and alternatively activated macrophages (M2), with their different roles, display distinct cytokine profiles: M1 preferentially produces TNF-α, IL-6, and IL-12; conversely, M2 generates more IL-10 and arginase. Gl-PS might have the potential to promote macrophage M1 polarization by lipopolysaccharide (LPS). In this study, LPS was used to induce the M1 polarization. It was shown that the level of the TNF-α, IL-6, and IL-12 were increased and the IL-10 and arginase I were decreased in the polarized M1 macrophages after application of Gl-PS compared to the control. The results indicated the potential of Gl-PS to promote M1 polarization vs M2, with the health beneficial understanding of the bioactivities of Gl-PS.

Stone wool external thermal insulation composite system is used more and more in China now. Former studies in China simply consider that water vapour permeability of render coating should be equal to the water vapour permeability of stone wool. Neither is there any necessary indicator for the liquid water (wind-driven rain) for the system. Therefore, an important issue to be solved currently is how to propose reasonable indicators for water vapour and liquid water transfer performance in stone wool system for different climate zones in China. This research studied on the simulation of hygrothermal distribution of stone wool system. Simulations of stone wool systems were done under different outdoor temperature, humidity, wind driving rain and other conditions to analyze the moisture content in each layer of the system. Meanwhile, simulations of different render coating performances were also done to analyze the moisture content in each layer. Based on these, indicators for water vapour and liquid water were proposed, which provides a foundation for the stone wool external thermal insulation composite system standards in China.

Due to the lack of fossils, the Neoproterozoic stratigraphic correlation is still a difficulty in this area. The division of Neoproterozoic strata and the establishment of the correlation framework of the stratigraphic sequences have been done through recognizing the regularity of meter-scale cycles by measuring the outcrop of Neoproterozoic strata and using the Fischer diagram and the sea-level curve of transgressive-regressive by the maximum flooding sedimentary and molar teeth carbonate sedimentary. The maximum flooding sedimentary which becomes cycle sequence comparison of sign is isochronous in the same basin and is a key of cycle sequence comparison although paleogeographic environment and sedimentary sequence may be different in the sedimentary strata of the same geologic time. Molars carbonates, having specific geological distrution time and depositional environment and mainly developing in the ramp environment of the platform edge in the 1500-650 Ma, are the new symbol of the stratigraphic correlation in the Neoproterozoic. The microenvironment encompassing a variety of non-malignant cells in close proximity with malignant tumor cells has been well known to significantly affect the behavior of tumor cells. In this study, we therefore studied the mechanism of bone marrow stromal cells in protection of lymphoma cells from spontaneous apoptosis. We demonstrated that adhesion of the freshly isolated lymphoma B cells to bone marrow stromal cells or freshly isolated lymphoma stromal cells inhibited B cell spontaneous apoptosis in culture. This inhibition of apoptosis correlated with decreased cleavage of caspase-3/8 and increased activation of canonical and non-canonical NF-κB signaling pathway. In addition to BAFF signaling which has been reported as a functional determinant for B lymphoma cell survival in the bone marrow environment, we demonstrated RANKL from BMSCs works synergistically with BAFF to activate NF-κB signaling pathway and thus protects lymphoma B cells from spontaneous apoptosis.

Six new neo-clerodane diterpenoids (1–6), scutebatas X – Z, A1-C1, along with twelve known ones (7–18) were obtained via the phytochemical investigation of the aerial parts of Scutellaria barbata. Their structures were established by detailed spectroscopic analysis. The absolute configurations of 1 and 2, as the representative members of this type, were identified based on a circular dichroic exciton chirality method. Moreover, in vitro cytotoxicity of compounds 1–6 were evaluated against three human cancer cell lines (SGC-7901, MCF-7, and A-549) using the MTT method. Compound 6 showed cytotoxic activities against all the three cell lines with IC50 values of 17.9, 29.9, and 35.7 µM, respectively.

Numerous microcontinents are known to occur in the Central Asian Orogenic Belt (CAOB), one of the largest accretionary orogens and the most significant area of Paleozoic crustal growth in the world. The evolution of the Precambrian crust in these microcontinents is central to understanding the accretionary and collisional tectonics of the CAOB. Here, we present systematic zircon U–Pb dating and Hf isotope studies of Mesoproterozoic gneissic granitoids from the eastern Central Tianshan Arc Terrane (CTA) of the southern CAOB. The investigated intermediate to felsic (SiO 2 = 60.48–78.92 wt.%) granitoids belong to the calcic- to calc-alkaline series and usually have pronounced negative Nb, Ta and Ti anomalies, relative enrichments of light rare earth elements (LREEs) and large ion lithophile elements (LILEs) while heavy rare earth elements (HREEs) and high field strength elements (HFSEs) are depleted, revealing typical active continental margin magmatic arc geochemical characteristics. These spatially-distant rocks show consistent zircon U–Pb crystallization ages from ca. 1.45 to 1.40 Ga and thus constitute a previously unknown Mesoproterozoic continental magmatic arc covering hundreds of kilometers in the eastern segment of the CTA. Furthermore the high and mainly positive zircon e Hf ( t ) values between − 1.0 and + 8.6 and the zircon Hf model ages of 1.95 to 1.55 Ga, which are slightly older than their crystallization ages, suggest that they were mainly derived from rapid reworking of juvenile material with a limited input of an ancient crustal component. Therefore, the formation of these granitoids defines an extensive Mesoproterozoic intermediate to felsic, subduction-related intrusive magmatic arc activity that was active from at least 1.45 to 1.40 Ga, involving significant juvenile continental growth in the eastern segment of the CTA. Furthermore the zircon U–Pb and Hf isotopic data challenge the common belief that the CTA was part of the Tarim Craton during Paleo- to Mesoproterozoic times. However, the southern Beishan microcontinents and the CTA have similar zircon U–Pb and Hf isotopic signatures, indicating a similar Precambrian tectonothermal evolution for both. This finding provides new and important constraints on the Precambrian crustal evolution of the microcontinents in the southern CAOB.

A sensitive, rapid and simple ultra high performance liquid chromatography with electrospray ionization tandem mass spectrometry method was developed to determine seven constituents (umbelliferone, apigenin, triumbelletin, daphnoretin, arctigenin, genkwanin and emodin) in Wikstroemia indica (L.) C. A. Mey. The chromatographic analysis was performed on an ACQUITY UPLC® BEH C18 column (2.1 × 50 mm, 1.7 μm) by gradient elution with the mobile phase of 0.05% formic acid aqueous solution (A) and acetonitrile (B). Multiple reaction monitoring mode with positive and negative electrospray ionization interface was carried out to detect the components. This method was validated in terms of specificity, linearity, accuracy, precision and stability. Excellent linear behavior was observed over the certain concentration ranges with the correlation coefficient values higher than 0.999. The intraday and innerday precisions were within 2.0%. The recoveries of seven analytes were 99.4-101.1% with relative standard deviation less than 1.2%. The 18 Wikstroemia indica samples from different origins were classified by hierarchical clustering analysis according to the contents of seven components. The results demonstrated that the developed method could successfully be used to quantify simultaneously of seven components in Wikstroemia indica and could be a helpful tool for the detection and confirmation of the quality of traditional Chinese medicines.

Some cytokines, such as interleukin-2 (IL-2), interferon-γ (IFN-γ) and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), produced by lymphocytes might play an important role in anti-tumor immunity and their production is possibly suppressed by cancer. Amelioration of the suppression of cytokine production might contribute to cancer control. Ganoderma lucidum polysaccharides (Gl-PS), a versatile group of a component of G. lucidum and one with various bioactivities, might have this potential. In this study, analyses including reverse transcription and the polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR), immunocytochemistry and Western blot were used to test the effects of Gl-PS on the production of IL-2, IFN-γ and TNF-α in mononuclear lymphocytes by incubating Gl-PS with mouse splenic mononuclear lymphocytes in the presence of B16F10 cell culture supernatant following activation by phytohemagglutinin. The RT-PCR, immunocytochemistry and Western blot assays showed that the production of IL-2, IFN-γ and TNF-α in mononuclear lymphocytes was suppressed by B16F10 cell culture supernatant at both the mRNA and protein levels, whereas the suppression was fully or partially ameliorated by Gl-PS. The amelioration by Gl-PS against the suppression of the production of IL-2, IFN-γ and TNF-α in mononuclear lymphocytes by B16F10 cell culture supernatant might contribute to cancer control.

The distribution of Precambrian basement rocks and their tectonic attributes are of key importance for understanding the tectonic architecture and the crustal growth model of the Central Asian Orogenic Belt (CAOB). We present LA-(MC)-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb and Hf isotopic data for the biotite-plagioclase gneiss and granodiorite from the southern Beishan orogenic collage, on the southern margin of the CAOB. The magmatic zircon grains from the gneiss yielded a protolith age of 1408±4 Ma, indicating the occurrence of Mesoproterozoic basement rocks in the southern Beishan. Furthermore, these zircon grains have high positive e Hf( t ) values (4.1-9.9), and young Hf model ages (1.50-1.72 Ga) close to the crystallization age, suggesting that the protolith of this gneiss was derived from the depleted mantle or the juvenile crust. This indicates the involvement of an important Mesoproterozoic (~1.4 Ga) event in juvenile crust growth in the southern Beishan. Conversely, the granodiorite intruding the biotite-plagioclase gneiss yielded a crystallization age of 257±3 Ma, and numerous ~1.4 Ga inherited zircon grains were found in this rock. These inherited zircon grains exhibit crystallization ages and Hf isotope compositions consistent with those of the biotite-plagioclase gneiss, further confirming the occurrence of Mesoproterozoic crustal basement rocks beneath the southern Beishan. By comparing our new data with previous results from the Precambrian basement in the Dunhuang Block (part of the Tarim Craton) and the Central Tianshan Block (microcontinent in the Chinese Tianshan), we postulate that the Precambrian microcontinents in the southern Beishan have similar crustal evolutionary histories to the Central Tianshan Block, and they may not have been derived from the Tarim Craton. The Mesoproterozoic basement rocks investigated here provide new clues for examining the accretionary orogenic processes of the southern CAOB.

Thermal conductivity of expanded polystyrene foam board (EPS) is affected by the environment when used as insulation material in the building. In order to simulate the impact on EPS in the building and test the thermal conductivity of EPS in different conditions, we conducted a simulation study, including temperature and humidity simulation tests, freeze-thaw tests and mechanical tests. This study of EPS in different environmental conditions established a good foundation for further research on environment dependence of thermal conductivity in national codes.

The main accumulating rock types of Yingshan Fault Depression in Songliao Basin were various volcanic lava and volcanic breccias, and the accumulating spaces included primary and secondary two kinds. Though the primary accumulating spaces took the small proportion, they provided favorable conditions for paulopost reconstruction. The development and evolution of volcanic rock accumulating spaces can be divided into four stages. The first is the forming stage of primary accumulation spaces, and the secondary is weathering and leaching stage. These two stages are dominated by construction. The third is shallow burying and structural fracture developing stage, with coexisting of construction and destruction, but dominated by construction. The fourth is deep burying stage, which is dominated by destruction.

In accordance with low success ratio of lithology identification in carbonate formation, a made of Identifying lithology of carbonate rocks through fuzzy mathematics has set up. 8 logging parameters reflecting lithology of carbonate rocks were selected and threshold values were determined. Lithologies of carbonate rocks were classified by using this identification mode and maximum subordination principle. Using field data identified 10 types of carbonate rocks, and they were compared with the result of core analysis, showing 85 % consistency. Therefore this method has higher accuracy for identification of carbonate lithology, and is quite promising in geological application.

Using core analysis, thin slice identification, logging analysis and seismic interpretation, systemic study upon sedimentary types, sedimentary facies, physical and oil bearing properties of each sedimentary microfacies, etc presenting in underwater alluvial fan of Kerqin oilfield of Kailu basin in China, is performed. To identify sedimentary characteristics of underwater alluvial fan and determine its oil bearing property so as to develop this type of reservoir reasonably and effectively. Underwater alluvial fan comprises of 5 kinds sedimentary facies: clastic flow, high density flow, low density flow, overflow and river channel sedimentation. Further division includes three sub-facies, i. e. tail, body and front part of underwater alluvial fan, among which braided structure of body part features favorable accumulation and oil bearing properties. Underwater alluvial fan is formed from the double action mechanisms of gravitational flow and traction flow. Body microfacies are primary oil bearing play and braided channel is the main future development target.

Based on a number of stratigraphic sedimentary information included in log data, application of the Artificial Neural Network to identify sedimentary microfacies from well logging data can complete the series auto-interpreting. The application can improve the auto-interpreting accuracy and make us get more satisfied results. Ten parameters from the well logging curves are selected for to describing their shape characteristics when the deposition patterns of 8 in gas-bearing formation of Upper Paleozoic group, Ordos basin are studied. Effective parameters were selected on the basis of cores, and based on artificial neural network pattern recognition technique; the sedimentary microfacies of well cross section were auto-interpreted. About 300 wells and the results were interpreted by using the software. The software will be fit for the researchers who have the experiences of geological interpretation and some backgrounds of local geology.

To increase the efficiency of golf training, 3D swing reconstruction is broadly used among golf researchers. Traditional reconstruction methods apply motion capture system (MOCAP) to gain golfers motion data and drive bio-mechanical model directly. The cost of MOCAP system restricts the application area of golf research and the reconstruction quality of swing relies on the accuracy of the motion data. We introduced the dynamical analysis into swing reconstruction and proposed a Dynamic Bayesian Network (DBN) model with Kinect to capture the swing motion. Our model focused on modeling the bio-mechanical and dynamical relationships between key joints of golfer during swing. The positions of key joints were updated by the model and were used as motion data to reconstruct golf swing. Experimental results show that our results are comparable with the ones acquired by optical MOCAP system in accuracy and can reconstruct the golf swing with much lower cost.
