Abstract

Media Synchronicity Theory, and Technology Acceptance Theory provide theoretical support for researching video chat as an engagement tool with customers online. A total of 246 completed responses were used to test the research hypotheses. A Regression-based Process Macro with bootstrapping was employed to test the proposed hypotheses. Abstract

Applied a procedure to assess measurement invariance across cultures developed by J. Steenkamp and H. Baumgartner (1998) to a scale to measure cognitive age using data collected in India (n=195), China (n=250), and Korea (n=251). Results from confirmatory factor analyses indicate that the technique provides a valuable tool to assess measurement invariance across cultures. (SLD)

Abstract

The present study attempts to establish measurement invariance of the life satisfaction scale (LSIZ) using samples from Korea, China, and the United States. The process involved carrying out a series of confirmatory factor analyses with progressively more restrictive constraints. Abstract

This article investigates salesperson turnover by examining the differing effects of job and organizational commitment on industrial salespeople's propensity to withdraw from selling jobs. Traditional approaches have focused on company turnover thus failing to consider salespeople's attitudinal and behavioral orientations that may lead them to leave selling jobs. The results of this study indicate that organizational commitment is significantly related to withdrawal from an organization. (Reprinted by permission of the publisher.)
