Denna studie är en kvalitativ forskningsansats som berör utomhusleken på en Ur och Skur verksamhet. Syftet med studien är att undersöka vad förskolepersonalen berättar om utomhusleken och hur den framstår på en Ur och Skur förskola. Datainsamlingsmetoderna är observationer med fältanteckningar och observerande samtal med tre förskollärare. Under en dag på samma Ur och Skur förskola. Resultatet visar att utomhusleken oftast sker spontant med hela barngruppen på förskolan. I barns utomhuslek kan vuxna träda in och berika genom att tillföra material, begrepp och att ställa frågor. I studien kom vi fram till att det är i utomhusvistelsen med den fysiska utomhusleken barnen upplever en meningsfull händelse på just denna Ur och Skur förskola.

Modeindustrin genererar enorma mängder textilavfall varje år. Detta har resulterat i ett behov av en mer hållbar syn på modeindustrin, med fokus på att bekämpa de negativa effekterna samtidigt som ekonomisk tillväxt upprätthålls. Övergången till en cirkulär ekonomi samt implementeringen av hållbara processer och material är nödvändiga steg att ta framåt. Att integrera deadstockmaterial i ett företags sourcingstrategi kan vara ett sätt att minska avfallsmängden och miljöpåverkan, samtidigt som ekonomiska fördelar uppnås. Vi har identifierat att Born Sustainable Firms (BSF) kan använda olika sourcingprocesser för att säkerställa tillgången till deadstockmaterial, såsom hands-on-sourcing, sourcing via tredjepart och sourcing direkt från leverantörer. Utmaningarna inom deadstocksourcing inkluderar spårbarheten av materialen och bristen på etablerade system för att tillgängliggöra deadstockmaterial. Möjligheter inkluderar framtida lagstiftning och regleringar, vilka förväntas främja utvecklingen av nya processer och strategier för att minska avfallsmängden samt uppmuntra användningen av deadstockmaterial. En industriell symbiosplattform kan vara en möjlig lösning för att underlätta tillgången till och användningen av deadstockmaterial inom modeindustrin, vilket kan bidra till hållbar utveckling inom branschen., The fashion industry generates enormous amounts of textile waste every year, which has led to a need for a sustainable approach that combats the negative impact while maintaining economic growth. Transitioning to a circular economy and implementing sustainable processes and materials are necessary steps to move forward. Integrating deadstock materials into a company's sourcing strategy can be a way to reduce waste and environmental impact while achieving economic benefits. We have identified that Born Sustainable Firms (BSF) can employ various sourcing processes to ensure access to deadstock materials, such as hands-on-sourcing, third-party sourcing, and supplier sourcing. Challenges in deadstock sourcing include traceability of materials and the lack of established systems for accessing deadstock materials. Opportunities include future legislation and regulations, which are expected to promote the development of new processes and strategies to reduce waste and encourage the use of deadstock materials. An industrial symbiosis platform may be a potential solution to facilitate access to and utilization of deadstock materials in the fashion industry, contributing to a more sustainable development within the sector.

Detta är projekt Västkustbanan, Ängelholm-Maria, dubbelspårsutbyggnads andra hållbarhetsrapport och redovisar det hållbarhetsarbete vi gjort under 2022. Rapporten har inspirerats av de riktlinjer som den oberoende organisationen Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) har tagit fram. Under 2022 har projektets övergripande hållbarhet fokuserat på ekonomisk, social och miljömässig hållbarhet. Rapporten redogör för dessa tre fokusområden.

The potential to utilize lignin, which constitutes as much as 15-30% of the biomass, needs further evaluation. In the transition towards a bioeconomy, lignin has the potential to replace fossil-based phenols. Attempts to valorize the available technical lignins are ongoing; however, that lignin suffers from molecular heterogeneity. Accordingly, new process concepts, coined in the term lignin biorefineries, are required to obtain less heterogenic lignin with different properties and preserved molecular structure. In this study, a new lignin extraction concept was investigated, where the structural properties of lignin were preserved to a high degree using a physical protection strategy. The principle of preserving the lignin structure was based on a cyclic organosolv extraction concept. At first, a two-step concept was evaluated, where a hydrothermal extraction was performed to recover hemicellulose, followed by a cyclic organosolv extraction to obtain the lignin. Trend studies were performed for the individual cycles to gain a deeper understanding of how the lignin structure was affected by the cycles. To further investigate the method, chemometrics and design of experiment were used to gain knowledge about how different properties of lignin were affected by the extraction conditions and how the properties of lignin could be tailored. Based on the knowledge from the chemometric study and the observations from the two-step method, a refined one-step method was developed to obtain lignin with further improved analytical quality, i.e., up to 95% of the interunit linkages could be assigned for spruce lignin by heteronuclearsingle quantum coherence (HSQC) nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR)spectroscopy, 13C NMR and size exclusion chromatography (SEC). The universality of the method was investigated for different wood species, such as spruce and birch. The results indicate the applicability of the concept using different raw materials. För att ytterligare undersöka metoden användes kemometri och experimentell design för att öka kunskapen om hur olika extraktionsförhållanden påverkade egenskaper hos ligninet samt hur egenskaperna hos ligninet kunde skräddarsys.Genom den erhållna kunskapen från den kemometriska studien och den studerade trenden av två-stegsmetoden, undersöktes en kortare en-stegsmetod för att kunna erhålla ett lignin med ytterligare förbättrad analytisk kvalité, där upp till 95% av bindningarna kunde bestämmas för granlignin, karaktäriserat med heteronuclear single quantum coherence (HSQC) nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (NMR), 13C NMR och size exclusion chromatography (SEC). Studies have shown that the size of LNP depends on the molecular weight (M-w) of lignin. There is however need for deeper understanding on the role of molecular structure on LNP formation and its properties, in order to build a solid foundation on structure-property relationships. In this study, we show, for similar M-w lignins, that the size and morphology of LNPs depends on the molecular structure of the lignin macromolecule. More specifically, the molecular structure determined the molecular conformations, which in turn affects the inter-molecular assembly to yield size- and morphological-differences between LNPs. This was supported by density functional theory (DFT) modelling of representative structural motifs of three lignins sourced from Kraft and Organosolv processes. The obtained conformational differences are clearly explained by intra-molecular sandwich and/or T-shaped pi-pi stacking, the stacking type determined by the precise lignin structure. Moreover, the experimentally identified structures were detected in the superficial layer of LNPs in aqueous solution, confirming the theoretically predicted self-assembly patterns. Endometrios, en kronisk gynekologisk sjukdom, drabbar cirka 10% av de som föds med en livmoder. Trots detta saknas idag tillräcklig kunskap, vetenskaplig evidens och finansiering för att erbjuda en jämlik och effektiv vård vid endometrios. Studiens syfte var att undersöka hur kvinnor som lever med endometrios upplever att deras symtom påverkar deras sociala liv och tankar om framtiden. Studien ämnade även undersöka vad kvinnor upplever som önskvärt vid psykologisk behandling av endometrios. Urvalet bestod av 10 kvinnor över 18 år gamla som upplevde endometriossymtom. Datan från individuella semistrukturerade intervjuer analyserades med hjälp av tematisk analys. Analysen av intervjuerna genererade åtta teman vilka syftade till att beskriva essensen i deltagarnas upplevelser. Resultatet visade att deltagarna upplevde att deras endometriossymtom hade en negativ inverkan på deras sociala deltagande och kvaliteten i deras nära relationer. Deltagarna beskrev också vad de uppfattade som stödjande och hindrande sociala beteenden från vänner, familj och partners i relation till deras symtom. Vidare framkom upplevelser av både oro och trevande hoppfullhet gällande framtiden med hänsyn till verksamma behandlingsalternativ och möjlighet att uppnå sina livsmål och drömmar. Deltagarna uttryckte en önskan om att bli erbjudna individualiserad behandling som tar i beaktande hur fysiska och psykiska aspekter av endometrios interagerar med varandra. Denna studie betonar vikten av att ta hänsyn till sociala faktorer och utgå från ett livsloppsperspektiv vid utformningen av psykologisk behandling vid endometrios., Endometriosis, a chronic gynecological disease, affects about 10% of those born with a uterus. Despite this, there is currently insufficient knowledge, scientific evidence and funding to provide equal and effective care for endometriosis. The purpose of the study was to explore how women living with endometriosis experience that their symptoms affect their social life and thoughts about the future. The study also aimed to examine what women experience as desirable in psychological treatment of endometriosis. The sample consisted of 10 women above the age of 18 who experienced symptoms of endometriosis. The data from individual semi-structured interviews were analyzed using thematic analysis. The analysis of the interviews generated eight themes that sought to describe the essence of the participants' experiences. The results showed that the participants felt that their symptoms of endometriosis had a negative impact on their social participation and the quality of their close relationships. The participants also described what they perceived as supportive and hindering social behaviors from friends, family and partners in relation to their symptoms. Furthermore, there were experiences of both worry and tentative hope concerning the future with regard to effective treatment options and the possibility of achieving their life goals and dreams. The participants expressed a desire to be offered individualized treatment that addresses how physical and psychological aspects of endometriosis interact with each other. This study highlights the importance of considering social factors and assuming a life course perspective when designing psychological treatment for endometriosis.

Det nyligen antagna direktivet om tillräckliga minimilöner i Europeiska unionen har resulterat i en oro på den svenska arbetsmarknaden. Med tanke på motståndet är det aktuellt att undersöka vilken påverkan direktivet kommer att ha på den svenska lönebildningsmodellen och om det stämmer att kollektivavtalssystemet riskerar att urholkas. Fokus ligger på om direktivet kommer att påverka arbetsmarknadsparternas förhandlingsutrymme i lönebildningen. I utredningen har det kunnat konstateras att minimilönedirektivets förpliktande funktion inte ska tolkas som ett krav på lagstiftning om minimilön. Det rör sig snarare om en feltolkning av artikel 1.4 i minimilönedirektivet. Det ska inte heller tolkas som att lägstanivåer måste införas i alla kollektivavtal. De svenska arbetsmarknadsparternas förhandlingsutrymme kommer till följd av direktivet inte att inskränkas. Det har också kunnat fastställas att nästintill alla svenska löntagare idag har vad som anses av EU kommissionen vara en skälig lön. Minimilönedirektivet har genom artikel 4.2 en kollektivavtalsfrämjande funktion och verkar för att öka organisationsgraden på svensk arbetsmarknad. En positiv effekt av direktivet är i själva verket ett ökat förhandlingsutrymme i lönebildningen för de svenska arbetsmarknadsparterna. Parternas ledande position i lönebildningen anses därför inte stå under hot av direktivet, utan deras roll i processen är snarare säkrad genom det., The recently adopted directive on adequate minimum wages in the European Union has raised voices of concern on the Swedish labour market. With the resistance in mind it is relevant to explore what impact the minimum wage directive will have on the Swedish model of formation of wages and if the model really is at risk of being undermined. The focus of the essay is set to investigate what impact the directive will have on the Swedish labour market partners scope for negotiation in the formation of wages. The essay can establish that the minimum wage directive's binding function shall not be interpreted as an obligation to introduce statutory minimum wage. Article 1.4 in the minimum wage directive has been an object for misinterpretation. Nor shall the directive be interpreted as if minimum levels have to be introduced in all collective agreements. The Swedish labour market partners scope for negotiation will due to the directive not be restricted. It has also been possible to establish that almost all wage earners in Sweden today receive the level of pay that by the EU commission can be considered a fair pay. Through article 4.2, the minimum wage directive has a function of promoting collective agreements and works to increase the level of union and employer organisation on the Swedish labour market. A positive effect of the directive is in fact an increased scope for negotiation in wage formation for the Swedish labour market partners. The partners leading position in the formation of wages in Sweden is not considered to be under threat by the directive, but rather their role in the process is secured by it.

De accounts som används mest är medgivande, bortförklaring och omfokusering. Tystnad och mystifikation är betydelsefulla men mindre använda accounts. Purpose: Our study aims to enhance and further current knowledge on how Swedish companies communicate through the use of verbal accounts in their sustainability reports. We intend to increase awareness regarding the tools and techniques companies use to establish a more CSR-friendly image to society. Theoretical perspectives: The concept of CSR is used as a starting point to understand social expectations in regard to companies. Communication in sustainability reports is perceived as a means for companies to create a narrative to bridge the discrepancy between social expectations and corporate operations. This is defined as legitimacy. Methodology: This essay is based on a qualitative method and is permeated by a social constructivist approach. Through in-depth reading and a theoretical framework corporate communication in sustainability reports is analysed. In order to achieve the purpose of this essay, accounts are identified in companies' sustainability reports using account theory. Result: The results show that all case companies use accounts to explain, defend and legitimise their operations. The accounts that are used most frequently are concession, excuse and refocusing. Silence and mystification are important but less frequently used accounts. Parts of the result are in line with previous research.
