Objective: Today it is impossible to imagine human existence without information and communication technology. This study aimed to examine the relationship between the use of virtual spaces and citizens' political participation in Bandar Abbas, Iran. Methods: The survey research method was used to collect information on the use of virtual spaces and political participation. The study focuses specifically on citizens of Bandar Abbas who have reached the legal age of political participation (over 18 years). The sample size of 383 individuals was selected using cluster sampling technique from four districts of Bandar Abbas. Statistical analysis was performed using SPSS software and hypothesis testing was performed using Pearson correlation coefficient, frequency tables and graphs. Spearman and Pearson correlation methods were used to measure the relationship between variables, while the chi-square test was used to examine the association between gender and political participation. To determine the extent of the use of virtual spaces and political participation, a comprehensive questionnaire with 33 questions was completed. Results: The implications of this study highlighted the need for policymakers and political actors to adapt to the changing landscape of political participation in the digital age. It is critical to ensure that virtual spaces are accessible, inclusive, and provide opportunities for diverse voices to be heard. Conclusions: Addressing political dissatisfaction and concerns expressed in virtual spaces can help strengthen democratic processes and promote a more engaged and participatory citizenry. In this study, a hybrid nanocomposite made of the polyamide 6 (PA6) and nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) with polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxanes (POSS) was prepared and mechanical, thermal, and morphology of nanocomposite were tested. The nanocomposite specimens were prepared through the melt mixing method. Tensile and Charpy impact showed that adding the NBR increases the impact strength while decreasing the tensile strength. However, POSS nanoparticles can improve the weakness of adding NBR rubber to the PA6. Additionally, traditional analytical techniques, including differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), dynamic mechanical thermal analysis (DMTA), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) were conducted. In α‐diimine‐based catalytic systems, it is highly challenging to increase the thermal stability of the α‐diimine Ni(II) catalyst. In this work, we are focused on examining the polymerization of ethylene by a number of α‐diimine Ni(II) complexes with camphyl backbone and various electron‐donating and withdrawing substituents as catalysts. The synthesized camphyl‐based ligands were characterized by 1H nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), 13C NMR, HH correlation spectroscopy, Fourier‐transform infrared (FT‐IR), and elemental analysis. The formation of the Ni(II) complexes was approved by the far infrared (Far‐IR) and energy dispersive x‐ray spectroscopy (EDS). The Box–Behnken method was used to select the optimal polymerization conditions. The ligand electronic effect on the catalytic activity of Ni(II) complexes in ethylene polymerization was systematically investigated. All of the synthesized complexes were active in ethylene polymerization with activities at 105 g of polyethylenes (PE) (mol of Ni h)−1.
