With the proposal of cloud computing, fog computing, and edge computing, various simulation operations are greatly guaranteed, which benefits the multi-model operations of Matlab and CFD. This paper established the 1-D flow network model and 12 cm ∗ 8 cm 3-steady-state PEMFC model. Based on the experiment, the intake flow distribution of the cathode anode of 80 cells is simulated to obtain the maximum and minimum intake flow cell. The 3-D and steady-state single-cell model is used to calculate the cell’s performance, and the performance difference between the two cells is improved by optimizing the size structure of the single cell. The results show that the best version of the cell was obtained when the values of the width and depth were 1.1 mm and 0.8 mm, and the power density difference between the two cells decreased from 5.7% to 2.1%. The voltage difference at 1000 mA·cm−2 current density decreases from 0.065 to 0.035 V after optimization. The intake flow extreme difference of the reactor improved significantly, and C v was reduced by 48.7%.

Background and Objective: Over the past few decades, a lot of research on acupoint autohemotherapy (A-AHT) has been published in China. However, lack of knowledge about adverse events (AEs) of A-AHT contributing to clinicians’ reluctance to utilize this novel method. The main aim of this multicenter study used a questionnaire to assess the safety, patient satisfaction and necessity of A-AHT among health care practitioners and recipients. Methods: From March to May 2022, questionnaires including topics such as background data, evaluation of A-AHT side effects and satisfaction levels were distributed to patients receiving A-AHT treatment and medical personnel (nurses and doctors) in 43 centers across 30 cities and regions of China. Associations between paticipants’ characteristics and their view of efficacy, safety, satisfaction, and necessity of A-AHT were investigated using paired student’s t-test, chi-square test, and Pearson’s correlations. Results: 76 healthcare professionals (HPs) and 71 patients completed the survey questionnaires. It was showed that the experienced HPs were more firmly of the view that A-AHT treatment was effective, safe and satisfactory than the patients. In comparison to the other patients, the rhinitis patients thought A-AHT was safer, more satisfying, and more necessary.Local pain (63.2%) and ecchymosis (40.8%) are the two AEs of HPs that cause the most concern. Also, local pain was most frequently experienced by the patients (47.9%). However, HPs' experiences using A-AHT tended to be more problematic than those of the patients. A positive correlation (R=0.649. PConclusion: The experienced HPs were more convinced than the patients that A-AHT was efficient, safe, and satisfactory. However, patients had fewer issues than anticipated, according to HPs. To encourage A-AHT treatment, all practitioners must have a thorough understanding of the potential AEs of A-AHT.

This study provides a prompt understanding of actual travel behaviours during and after a real time pandemic building on an earlier published study of intended behaviours. Quantitative online survey data gathered during China's first national multi-day holiday - Golden Week (October 2020) - since the lifting of the country's stringent travel restrictions triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic has allowed for actual post-pandemic travel behaviours to be investigated. The survey carried out for this purpose included decisions in favour or against travel, motivations, means of travel, as well as changes in terms of travel duration, travel distance and spending. A taxonomy is developed for actual tourist behaviours within a post-pandemic domestic tourism context to understand factors influencing these behaviours, including perceived risk, anxiety, trust and financial constraints.

Oncolytic therapy has emerged as a new method of cancer treatment next to surgery, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy. RNA viruses can become oncolytic viruses as their replication occurs in the cytoplasm and they do not integrate into the host DNA. Coxsackievirus can potentially become a type of oncolytic virus because of its ability to cause disease (mainly in children) and its simple genome structure which makes genetic manipulation easy. Coxsackievirus B3 (CVB3) has a good cytotoxic effect on non-small cell lung cancer in vitro. At present, some locally injectable oncolytic viruses approved for clinical studies include Rigvir and CAVATAK. Nevertheless, not enough studies are available on whether CVB3 has different cytotoxic effects on Coxsackievirus-Adenovirus Receptor (CAR) cells and whether the inhibition rate of tumor tissues show variations with different CAR expression levels in vivo. In the current research, the recombinant CVB3 strain constructed and preserved in our laboratory was used as an oncolytic virus to investigate if its cytotoxic effect on lung cancer cells was related to CAR receptor expression. Because the recombinant CVB3 strain was targeted for oncolytic treatment of lung cancer, an intravenous injection was proposed. The results indicated that the expression level of CAR on the cell surface was not the only factor affecting CVB3 infection, but the sensitivity of NSCLC cell lines to CVB3 was associated with CAR expression level on the cell surface. According to in vivo studies, the CVB3 showed a better inhibitory effect on tumor tissues that have a high level of CAR expression. These findings support the intravenous administration of CVB3 for oncolytic therapy.

Since its outbreak in Wuhan (China) in early January 2020, the COVID-19 strain of the novel coronavirus has spread rapidly across China and around the globe with a major resulting impact on travel and tourism. As a response to this outbreak, China was effectively the first country in the world to impose a mandatory nation-wide self-quarantine between 23rd January and 9th February 2020 (Bloomberg News, 2020). \ud \ud This research note analyses the intra-pandemic (i.e. during the pandemic) perceptions as well as post-pandemic planned behaviours among Chinese residents within the context of the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic. For this purpose, the Theory of Planned Behaviour (Ajzen, 1991) is adopted to explore planned changes to travel behaviours after the pandemic. The intra-pandemic perceptions towards tourism destinations are added to examine their association with post-pandemic planned travel behaviours, particularly with regards to Attitude and Post-pandemic Travel Intention. This research provides a novel contribution to existing knowledge by providing a prompt understanding of a real-time pandemic, particularly on the impacts of intra-pandemic perceptions on post-epidemic planned travel behaviours.

This study aimed to elucidate the anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties of resveratrol (RSV) in human gingival fibroblasts (HGFs) following stimulation by P. gingivalis lipopolysaccharide (LPS). The levels of the inflammatory cytokines IL-1β, IL-6, IL-8 and TNFα, the activity of the antioxidant enzymes SOD and GSH-Px, and the levels of MDA, were evaluated by ELISA. It was observed that the expression of IL-1β, IL-6, IL-8 and TNFα in LPS-induced HGFs was significantly downregulated by RSV in a dose-dependent manner. RSV also partly increased oxidative stress (OS)-related factors, including SOD and GSH-Px, which was accompanied by a decrease in MDA production, although the results were not statistically significant. Additionally, RSV-induced deactivation of the PI3K/AKT and Wnt/β-catenin pathways in LPS-induced HGFs was observed by western blot analysis. Subsequently, it was demonstrated treatment with PI3K/AKT pathway inhibitor (LY294002) or Wnt/β-catenin pathway inhibitor (Dickkopf-1, DKK-1) could further enhance the anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects of RSV by downregulating the expression of IL-1β, IL-6, IL-8 and TNFα, and the production of MDA, and increasing the activity of SOD and GSH-Px in LPS-induced HGFs. These results suggested RSV attenuated the inflammation and OS injury of P. gingivalis LPS-treated HGFs by deactivating the PI3K/AKT and Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathways.

The task of electric power companies is to achieve their economic targets and social responsibilities. As one of the promising methods to make these targets come true, asset management is attracting more and more attention, and the life cycle cost management (LLCM) is an effective tool of asset evaluation. In order to optimize the electrical equipment life cycle, and aiming at some problems in the current equipment maintenance research, which includes ignoring the influence of maintenance on equipment failure rate, ignoring the trend of continued deterioration during the operation of equipment and so on, this paper introduces the deterioration theory in the field of mechanical engineering. This essence of this method can be regarded as searching the balance between the value of equipment themselves and the benefits brought by the power systems, between LCCM and equipment maintenance, and finally, between technologies and management of power system. Based on this method, this article deduces the relationship of the reliability of equipment in each maintenance circle, and constructs the maintenance strategy optimization model of equipment based on risk combined with the definition of risk and service age reduction factor. In the end, this paper employs the theory into a practical example and calculates the optimal maintenance interval, and finally compares it with traditional preventive maintenance.

In the process of underbalanced pressure drilling, the drill pipe body and its joint repeatedly pass though the sealing rubber core of the rotating blowout preventer (RBOP), making the rubber core susceptible to alternating cyclic load, and prone to fatigue failure. Under the premise of effective sealing realized by the rubber core, to increase its service life, first the Yeoh constitutive model and constitutive parameters describing the material of rubber core were determined by uniaxial tensile and compression tests, and the finite element governing equation of the nonlinear large deformation of the rubber core was obtained according to the principle of virtual work; then a three-dimensional finite element model of the rubber core was established by ABAQUS software to simulate the dynamic sealing process, contact pressure and Mises stress distribution and variation on the sealing surface were analyzed, and the accuracy of the finite element analysis results was verified by comparing the existing test results; subsequently, the influence of structural parameters such as inner angle, outer angle and inner diameter on the sealing surface stress was studied, and these parameters were optimized through Taguchi experiment. The optimal combination of structural parameters was obtained as inner angle 29°, outer angle 69° and inner diameter 84mm. The maximum Mises stress was reduced by 2.48MPa and the Mises stress amplitude by 42% after optimization. Finally, the suitable conditions of the optimized rubber core were selected based on the applicability analysis to conduct the field application and result shows that the rubber core has good sealing performance and significantly increased fatigue life after optimization.

Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions show large variability among dam reservoirs, which makes it difficult to estimate N2O contributions to global greenhouse gases (GHGs). Because river damming alters hydraulic residence time and water depth, the hydraulic load (i.e., the ratio of the mean water depth to the residence time) was hypothesized to control N2O emissions from dam reservoirs. To test this hypothesis, we investigated N2O fluxes and related parameters in the cascade reservoirs along the Wujiang River in Southwest China. The N2O fluxes showed obvious temporal and spatial variations, ranging from -7.86 to 337.22 μmol m-2 d-1, with an average of 12.76 μmol m-2 d-1. Nitrification was the main pathway of N2O production in these reservoirs, and seasonal dissolved oxygen (DO) stratification played an important role in regulating the N2O production. The reservoir N2O flux had a significant negative logarithmic relationship with the hydraulic load, suggesting its control of the N2O emission. This was because the hydraulic load was a prerequisite for regulating the nitrification-denitrification and the DO stratification in the dam reservoirs. This empirical relationship will help to estimate the contribution of reservoir N2O emissions to global GHGs.

In the context of the condition-based maintenance, in order to fully consider the functional association between devices, and for the present situation that the existing research on power system functional association regards the power system as the series system, the system condition-based maintenance mathematical model based on master-slave association sets decomposition is proposed. In this paper, in the premise that the law of equipment state change is known, based on the functional association between devices, the power system in this model is considered as an approximate hybrid system, and the concept of the master-slave association set is given. This paper takes the master-slave association set as the unit to perform maintenance decision-making in the study period. Then, based on the idea of opportunistic maintenance, the method of solving the state probability after adding the master-slave association sets to the maintenance plans is given On this basis, the quantitative expressions of equipment individual loss and system operation risk are given, and the system condition-based maintenance mathematical model is established with the minimum of the sum of the two as the goal. And the validity and practicality of the model is verified by the examples.

Stepwise power tariff (SPT), which has been put into practice, is a crucial way for energy saving and environment protecting. In this paper, a new optimal model of SPT based on residential demand response model is presented. The optimal decision is proposed to restrain high electricity consumption as well as safeguard benefits of both supply and demand sides. As a result, the objective is designed to minimize electricity consumption and constraints are taken into consideration thoroughly, including acceptable index of consumers, average price, sales profit of power providers and basic electricity demand, which serves as a foundation for smooth implement of SPT. To solve the constrained optimal problem, genetic algorithm (GA) is employed. The effectiveness of the model and algorithm is investigated and demonstrated based on real data of 300 residents by a numerical example. The study shows that the method can reduce power consumption obviously with little sacrifice of the benefits of consumers and power providers.

Large-scale deployment of electric vehicles (EVs) is anticipated in the foreseeable future. Heavy intermittent charging load of EVs will create bottlenecks in supplying capacity and expose power system to severe security risks. In this paper, we propose an intelligent method to control EV charging loads in response to time-of-use (TOU) price in a regulated market. First, an optimized charging model is formulated to minimize the charging cost. Then, a heuristic method is implemented to minimize the charging cost considering the relation between the acceptable charging power of EV battery and the state of charge (SOC). Finally, the charging cost and energy demand in different time intervals are compared for both typical charging pattern and optimized charging pattern. Results show that the optimized charging pattern has great benefit in reducing cost and flatting the load curve if the peak and valley time periods are partitioned appropriately.

Short-term load forecast has a significant impact on the reliable and economic operation of power supplying system. Requirement for power system reserve and AGC capacity demand all relate to forecasting error. Due to lack of credibility assessment methods and tools for forecasting error, dispatching schedule must depend on the worst situation or experiences to conservative estimate the reserve capacity. Forecasting error not only can be affected by forecasting methods but also by its own characteristics of regulation and randomness. Under different internal and external conditions, the credibility of load forecast can be different. According to examples, this paper researches on the regulation of forecasting error change and indicates the regulation related to seasons and time. Credibility assessment of short-term load forecast in power system is created and it is meaningful for decreasing operation uncertainty and improving operation economy.

It is an evaluation of radionuclide bone scanning in detecting bone metastasis in the patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma after radiotherapy.The bone scanning was performed in 78 patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma after radiotherapy.Bone metastasis were detected in 47 patients out of 78, including 46 squamous cell carcinoma and 1 undifferentiated carcinoma.Radionuclide bone imaging is useful for diagnosing, treating and prognosing of nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
