We report here a direct allenylation reaction of inactive cyclic ethers. The reaction proceeds through a copper-catalyzed 1,4-difunctionalization of 1,3-enynes, with cyano group installed at the allenes simultaneously. This methodology shows a broad functional group compatibility to 1,3-enynes. Diversified allene-modified cyclic ether derivatives were synthesized with high regioselectivity under mild conditions.

Repeat hepatectomy (RH) and microwave ablation (MWA) are frequently used procedures for the treatment of recurrent hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) after curative resection. This study aimed to compare the long-term outcomes of RH and MWA for solitary and small HCC with early or late recurrence.This retrospective study enrolled patients who underwent RH or MWA for solitary and small (≤3 cm) recurrent HCC at Tongji hospital between April 2006 and December 2020. Propensity score matching (PSM) was further employed to analyze the prognosis of different treatment methods.A total of 256 patients were analyzed, of whom 94 and 162 underwent RH and MWA, respectively. The overall treatment-related complication rate was higher in the RH group. Both recurrence-free survival (RFS) and overall survival (OS) rates of RH were significantly better than those of MWA. Multivariate analysis showed that MWA, early recurrence (within 24 months after initial resection), cirrhosis, and AFP400 ng/ml were independent risk factors for poor prognoses of recurrent HCC. The stratified analysis demonstrated that MWA and RH had similar long-term outcomes in patients with early recurrence. Nevertheless, MWA had worse RFS and OS than RH in patients with late recurrence. The same results were obtained in the PSM analysis.The long-term outcomes of HCC patients with late recurrence were significantly better than those with early recurrence. RH should be the first choice for solitary small recurrent HCC patients with late recurrence, while MWA should be selected for those with early recurrence.

Eosinophilic pleural effusion (EPE) is defined as a pleural fluid with an eosinophilic count exceeding 10% and currently considered to be mainly caused by malignancy. However, the incidence, etiology and prognostic significance of malignant eosinophilic pleural effusion (MEPE) have not been studied extensively yet. Thus, the objective of this review was to summarize medical studies regarding MEPE to 2020 throughout an extensive search of PubMed. Overall, MEPE was a disease associated with multiplecytokines-mediated immunity and varied from 4% to 92% of patients who had EPE. The discrepancy of the MEPE prevalence among studies could be explained by the development of diagnostic technology, disparity of study population, or various disease spectrum over time. Data summarized in this review demonstrated that the incidence of malignancy was lower in EPEs than in non-EPEs (29.7% vs. 32.9%). Additionally, MEPE could be a manifestation of a great variety of tumor subtypes, among which lung cancer was the most common cause and accounted for more than 34% of cases. The second common causes were non-Hodgkin lymphoma and metastatic cancers with unknown primary site which were observed in around 5% of cases, respectively. The presence of eosinophils in the pleural effusion may be associated with a positive prognosis of MEPE. Besides, the prognosis of MEPE may be related to the percentage of eosinophils in the pleural fluid. More extensive studies, however, are warranted to validate these findings.

A copper-catalyzed radical cross-coupling of oxime esters and activated alkenes is accomplished for the synthesis of cyanoalkylsulfonylated oxindoles and cyanoalkyl amides via an aryl migration strategy. Specifically, the subsequent mechanism research indicates that the unique desulfonylation and sulfone addition processes were involved in the transformation. This transformation is identified as having good functional group applicability with two different quaternary stereocenter in a regioselective manner, which is controlled by the substituent group of the nitrogen.

For patients with portal hypertension (PH), portal vein thrombosis (PVT) is a fatal complication after splenectomy. Postoperative platelet elevation is considered the foremost reason for PVT. However, the value of postoperative platelet elevation rate (PPER) in predicting PVT has never been studied.To investigate the predictive value of PPER for PVT and establish PPER-based prediction models to early identify individuals at high risk of PVT after splenectomy.We retrospectively reviewed 483 patients with PH related to hepatitis B virus who underwent splenectomy between July 2011 and September 2018, and they were randomized into either a training (Multivariate analysis exhibited that the first and third days for PPER (PPER1, PPER3) were strongly associated with PVT [odds ratio (OR): 1.78, 95% confidence interval (CI): 1.24-2.62,PPER1 and PPER3 are effective indicators for postoperative prediction of PVT. We have successfully developed PPER-based practical models to accurately predict PVT, which would conveniently help clinicians rapidly differentiate individuals at high risk of PVT, and thus guide the adoption of timely interventions.

As a kind of emerging contaminants, environmental endocrine disrupting chemicals (EEDs) have gained issue of increasing concern due to their biological accumulation and human endocrine disruption. And the trace level and rich diversity of EEDs in the water environment are the main obstacles for removing EEDs. Fe-based nanomaterials, as a new kind of functional materials, have been widely applied into the adsorption and degradation of EEDs in water due to their facile preparation, satisfied nanostructure and outstanding catalytic oxidation performance. In this article, Fe-based nanomaterials with different morphologies and structures, including nanoscale zero-valent iron (nZVI), Fe3O4 nanoparticles (NPs), Fe2O3 NPs and other novel nanomateials, were introduced briefly. The preparation and characterization methods for different Fe-based nanomaterials were also covered. The removal performance of EEDs by various Fe-based nanomaterials in different reaction systems were well summarized as well as the degradation mechanisms including photocatalytic, Fenton and persulfate oxidation. The limitations and advantage strategies of the commonly used Fe-based nanomaterials were also discussed, and some new research directions in the removal of EEDs were proposed according to the new-found properties of Fe-based nanomaterials.

Purpose. The aim of the present study was to analyze the clinical characteristics of visual dysfunction in patients with carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning. Methods. A total of 436 patients with CO poisoning were enrolled in our hospital from October 2012 to December 2018, including 193 patients with moderate poisoning (MP group), 165 with severe poisoning (SP group), and 78 with delayed encephalopathy (DE group). The clinical characteristics of visual dysfunction in patients with CO poisoning were analyzed through the collection of medical history, regular physical examination, brain magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ophthalmological examination, the National Eye Institute Visual Function Questionnaire (NEI-VFQ), and its influencing factors. Results. Some patients in the three groups had visual dysfunction. The main ocular symptoms were local pain, eye movement disorder, and visual field defect. The key pathological factors were keratopathy, retinal nerve cell damage, optic nerve damage, retinal vascular disease, macular disease, and occipital visual center damage. The clinical symptoms of visual dysfunction after CO poisoning lasted for a long time (>12 months) and were not completely consistent with the positive results of the ophthalmological examination. A few sequelae of ophthalmology were still left after the help of medicine. Conclusion. The incidence of visual dysfunction in patients with CO poisoning was high, the clinical symptoms were rich and diverse, the duration of disease was long, and the prognosis was poor. Thus, the relevant ophthalmological examination and intervention treatment should be perfected as soon as possible.

In this research, the adsorptive removal of diclofenac sodium, one of the representative pharmaceuticals and personal care products, from aqueous solution using Fe3O4@MOF-100(Fe) magnetic microspheres was studied for the first time. The Fe3O4@MOF-100(Fe) microspheres exhibit strong magnetism and stability, which were observed as a core-shell structure. The maximum adsorption capacity of Fe3O4@MOF-100(Fe) for diclofenac sodium can reach 377.36 mg L−1, which was higher than most of the adsorbents reported. The adsorption kinetics follows the pseudo-second-order kinetic equation. And the adsorption equilibrium of DCF can be described with Langmuir isotherm. In the cycle experiment, Fe3O4@MOF-100(Fe) material performed high adsorption efficiency for low-concentration diclofenac sodium solution, and the removal rate can still reach 80% after 5 cycles of adsorption without desorption. The mechanisms including electrostatic interaction, H-bond interaction, and π-π interaction that coexisted in the adsorption processes would be of benefit to enhance the adsorption capacity. The Fe3O4@MOF-100(Fe) magnetic microspheres offer exciting opportunities for further application.

The waterborne pathogenic viruses threaten human health. And the nanomaterial-membrane coupling system is promising in virus removal. In this study, phage MS2 was selected as the model virus to investigate the removal of virus with the coupling system. Results revealed that commercial nano TiO2 (Degussa Aeroxide P25) showed both of excellent adsorption and photocatalysis performance for virus removal compared with nano ZnO, nano Fe3O4, carbon nanotube, graphene, nano Ni and Nano TiO2 (anatase). In P25 photocatalysis process, the removal efficiency of phage MS2 increased with the increase of P25 concentration (0~1000 mg L-1), virus initial concentration (102~106 PFU mL-1), UV irradiation doses (5~120 mJ cm-2) and UV light intensity (0.126~0.742 mW cm-2). However, when the P25 concentration increased to over 1000 mg L-1, the virus removal efficiency would remain stable with the increase of P25 concentration. The nanomaterial-membrane coupling system showed excellent performance for virus removal, which was mainly attributed to the adsorption and photocatalysis of P25, and the intercept of membrane. When the P25 concentration was 100 mg L-1, UV irradiation dose was 20 mJ cm-2 and transmembrane pressure was 20 kPa, the phage MS2 removal efficiency could be up to 100%.

Since December 2019, when coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) emerged in Wuhan city and rapidly spread throughout China, data have been needed on the clinical characteristics of the affected patients.We extracted data regarding 1099 patients with laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 from 552 hospitals in 30 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities in mainland China through January 29, 2020. The primary composite end point was admission to an intensive care unit (ICU), the use of mechanical ventilation, or death.The median age of the patients was 47 years; 41.9% of the patients were female. The primary composite end point occurred in 67 patients (6.1%), including 5.0% who were admitted to the ICU, 2.3% who underwent invasive mechanical ventilation, and 1.4% who died. Only 1.9% of the patients had a history of direct contact with wildlife. Among nonresidents of Wuhan, 72.3% had contact with residents of Wuhan, including 31.3% who had visited the city. The most common symptoms were fever (43.8% on admission and 88.7% during hospitalization) and cough (67.8%). Diarrhea was uncommon (3.8%). The median incubation period was 4 days (interquartile range, 2 to 7). On admission, ground-glass opacity was the most common radiologic finding on chest computed tomography (CT) (56.4%). No radiographic or CT abnormality was found in 157 of 877 patients (17.9%) with nonsevere disease and in 5 of 173 patients (2.9%) with severe disease. Lymphocytopenia was present in 83.2% of the patients on admission.During the first 2 months of the current outbreak, Covid-19 spread rapidly throughout China and caused varying degrees of illness. The electroneutral Na+/HCO3 - cotransporter NBCn2 (SLC4A10) of solute carrier family 4 (SLC4) plays important physiological and pathological roles in the body. Our previous study showed that NBCn2 is expressed on the protein level in the small intestine of rat. Here, by reverse-transcription polymerase chain reaction (PCR), we identified a novel full-length NBCn2 variant, i.e., NBCn2-K, from rat small intestine. By pHi measurement with Xenopus oocytes, the activity of NBCn2-K is not significantly different from NBCn2-G. By western blotting, NBCn2 and the Na+/H+ exchanger NHE3 (SLC9A3) are predominantly expressed in the jejunum of rat small intestine. By immunofluorescence, NBCn2 and NHE3 are localized at the apical domain of the jejunum. NaCl overload decreases the expression of NBCn2 by 56% and that of NHE3 by 40% in the small intestine. We propose that NBCn2 is involved in the transepithelial NaCl absorption in the small intestine, and that the down-regulation of NBCn2 by NaCl represents an adaptive response to high salt intake in rat.

Recent evidence indicates that long noncoding RNA colon cancer-associated transcript-1 (lncRNA CCAT1) is abundantly expressed in esophageal cancer and is closely related to the occurrence, development, invasion, metastasis, and drug resistance of this disease. However, the role and molecular mechanisms of CCAT1 in the cell proliferation and chemoresistance of esophageal cancer are largely unknown. The correlation between CCAT1 expression and drug resistance to cisplatin (CDDP) in esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) cells was analyzed using 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyl-tetrazolium bromide (MTT) and quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) assays. CCAT1 knockdown and miR-143 overexpression or inhibition were used to verify the effects on proliferation and drug resistance via MTT, western blotting, flow cytometry, and immunofluorescence assays. qRT-PCR and western blotting were applied to detect the potential regulatory relationship among CCAT1, miR-143, PLK1, and BUBR1. A xenograft tumor assay was performed to validate the role of CCAT1 in vivo. The expression of CCAT1 was positively correlated with drug resistance in several ESCC cell lines. CCAT1 knockdown and miR-143 overexpression inhibited cell proliferation and CDDP drug resistance. Moreover, the downstream target of CCAT1 was found to be miR-143, which can regulate the expression of PLK1 and BUBR1. In vivo assays showed that CCAT1 knockdown suppressed tumor growth and enhanced the sensitivity of tumors to CDDP in nude mice. Taken together, we discovered a novel mechanism by which CCAT1 promotes cell proliferation and enhances drug resistance by regulating the miR-143/PLK1/BUBR1 signaling axis both in vitro and in vivo. Our findings further suggest that lncRNA CCAT1 may be a potential therapeutic target for overcoming chemoresistance in esophageal cancer.

This paper describes the development of a novel gas chromatography-mass spectrometry-selected ion monitoring (GC/MS-SIM) method for the determination of trace water contents of organic solvents, using the characteristic m/z 18, m/z 17, and m/z 16 ions of H2O as the qualitative ion and the m/z 18 ion as the quantifier ion. The accuracy and precision of this method were validated. An excellent linear correlation was obtained for trace water contents between 0 and 0.5217 wt%, with a correlation coefficient (R2) of 0.9999, in addition to spike recoveries of 82.6–112.6%, and relative standard deviations (n = 6) of 0.4–7.2%. The limit of detection (S/N = 3) and limit of quantitation (S/N = 10) for the trace water contents of organic solvents were 0.0005% wt% and 0.0016% wt%, respectively.The analytical results confirmed that this method was useful for determining the trace water contents of organic solvents, because it has a low detection limit and wide linear range. It requires only small amounts of the samples and enables sample batch analysis. It is very environmentally friendly and saves reagents.

The kidney maintains systemic acid-base balance by reclaiming from the renal tubule lumen virtually all HCO3− filtered in glomeruli and by secreting additional H+ to titrate luminal buffers. For proximal tubules, which are responsible for about 80% of this activity, it is believed that HCO3− reclamation depends solely on H+ secretion, mediated by the apical Na+/H+ exchanger NHE3 and the vacuolar proton pump. However, NHE3 and the proton pump cannot account for all HCO3− reclamation. Here, we investigated the potential contribution of two variants of the electroneutral Na+/HCO3– cotransporter NBCn2, the amino termini of which start with the amino acids MCDL (MCDL-NBCn2) and MEIK (MEIK-NBCn2). Western blot analysis and immunocytochemistry revealed that MEIK-NBCn2 predominantly localizes at the basolateral membrane of medullary thick ascending limbs in the rat kidney, whereas MCDL-NBCn2 localizes at the apical membrane of proximal tubules. Notably, NH4Cl-induced systemic metabolic acidosis or hypokalemic alkalosis downregulated the abundance of MCDL-NBCn2 and reciprocally upregulated NHE3. Conversely, NaHCO3-induced metabolic alkalosis upregulated MCDL-NBCn2 and reciprocally downregulated NHE3. We propose that the apical membrane of the proximal tubules has two distinct strategies for HCO3− reclamation: the conventional indirect pathway, in which NHE3 and the proton pump secrete H+ to titrate luminal HCO3−, and the novel direct pathway, in which NBCn2 removes HCO3− from the lumen. The reciprocal regulation of NBCn2 and NHE3 under different physiologic conditions is consistent with our mathematical simulations, which suggest that HCO3− uptake and H+ secretion have reciprocal efficiencies for HCO3− reclamation versus titration of luminal buffers.

In this paper, we present our implementation and evaluation of multi-node transmission over Content Centric Networking, which is realized by CCNx project. As there are no client-server connections in CCN, it offers the possibility to transfer data from multiple nodes as well as multiple links in parallel. However, in the current strategy of CCNx, even if there are many nodes who store the video files the client needs, the CCNx may choose one node to transfer the resource at one point, resulting the waste of other links .Thus we try to split video files into fragments. Multi-nodes will cooperate together to transfer the fragments As there are more than one nodes transferring the different fragments at the same time, each link can be made fully used and the transfer performance can be improved in some ways.

This article studies the scheduling problem of a set of tasks with time or data constraints on a number of identical processors with full connections. We present an algorithm, in which a set of static schedule lists can be obtained, each for a processor, such that each task starts executing after its release time and completes its computation before its deadline, and all the precedence relations between tasks resulting from data dependency are satisfied. The data dependency relations between tasks are represented by Synchronous Dataflow Graphs (SDF) as they can indicate tasks concurrency and enable effective scheduling on multiprocessor platforms. The SDF, however, does not support the time constraints of tasks directly, thus an adaption is applied to conform to the time limits. With this adaption, the periodic tasks of implicit-deadline or constrained-deadline can be scheduled on multiprocessor platform effectively.

Aiming at the problem of tag conflict in the RFID system, an improved algorithm based on dynamic framed slotted ALOHA algorithm is proposed. In this algorithm , when the recognition of a frame length is still not finished, according to the existing conflict timeslot and free timeslot inside of frame, frame length can adjusted in advance, furthermore a new frames recognition process is began, which can improve the recognition efficiency of the existing algorithm, increase throughput. The performance simulation experiment shows that the improved algorithm has more advantage than dynamic slotted ALOHA algorithm.

The upregulated expression of JMJD6 was observed in various human cancers. However, little was known about JMJD6 expression and its clinicopathological significance in lung adenocarcinoma. The aim of this study was to investigate the expression and significance of JMJD6 in lung adenocarcinoma progression and prognosis. The levels of JMJD6 mRNA and protein in lung adenocarcinoma specimens and corresponding non-tumorous lung tissues were evaluated by quantitative reverse-transcriptase polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) and Western blot. In order to investigate the correlations between JMJD6 and the clinicopathological features of lung adenocarcinoma, the expression of JMJD6 in 154 patients with lung adenocarcinoma was detected by immunohistochemistry. However, until now, there have been no relevant manufacturing enterprise and technology at home. According to design requirements of aircraft deicing vehicle and firing boiler, through comparative analyses of various designs at home and abroad, operating scheme and key devices of deicing system were designed, including deicing firing boiler and hydraulic burner system. Finally a hydraulic oil-fired deicing system suitable for aircraft deicing vehicle was developed successfully. New deicing system and firing boiler have the advantages of reasonable design, reliable working, economic usefulness and convenient operation, which meet the design requirements and fill in the domestic blank. The products not only can be applied in domestic airports but also in civil fields, being of important innovative and practical significance.

Navigation light monitoring system is designed to detect the working condition of each light with circuit cable carrier. However, the real-time detecting information could be inaccurate as a result of the existence of disturbances such as noise, multi-path effect and channel decline, when the data transmission happens in light cable as the channel. In this paper, OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) is presented to be used in circuit cable communication. And the reason and capability of the resistance to these disturbances in OFDM are analyzed. Finally, the result is concluded that OFDM used in navigation light cable channel is feasible.

Anaerobic fermentation experiments were conducted on banana (pseudo) stem residue to study the relationship between fermentation temperature and gas production yield and gas production rate, and methane content. Based on fixed dry matter concentration, inoculum concentration and fermentation time, different temperatures, i.e. 25, 30, 35, 40°C were selected and formed four experimental groups. Four levels of single factor tests were conducted to optimize temperature parameter for anaerobic fermentation of banana stem residue. The results showed that the daily gas yield of banana stem residue reached the maximum value of 36.8L on the fourth day at 35°C, and the average gas yield was 5.03L/d. The total gas yield was 402.3L, while the maximum methane content was 61.2% in the whole fermentation process. The results indicated that the comprehensive effect was best at 35°C in anaerobic fermentation of banana stem residue.

The Microstructure and creep behavior for NiAl-28Cr-5.5Mo-0.5Hf-0.02wt.%P alloy at high temperature have been investigated in this paper. The results reveal that the high temperature creep behavior of the NiAl-28Cr-5.5Mo-0.5Hf-0.02wt.%P alloy is characterized by transient primary creep and dominant steady-state creep as well as ternary creep behavior. The primary creep can be described by Garofalo equation and the steady-state creep can be depicted by Dorn equation. The creep mechanisms are viscous glide of dislocations at lower and middle testing temperatures and dislocation climb at higher temperature. No change of the microstructure for the testing alloy indicates that the creep fracture is controlled by the formation and propagation of cavities and cracks, and the creep fracture behavior obeys Monk man-Grant relationship.

Studying technology of feature analysis, a new method of feature selection based on self -reacting feature weighted is presented, and it is applied into the intrusion feature selection with the technique of feature selection and the technique of SVM classification combined. The method can reduce the time complexity and space complexity with the situation of parameter trying improved. The experiment results show that the detection precision rises obviously, meanwhile, the training time and the test time are also improved variously. The model has the ability to respond quickly with the accuracy and real-time performance of the Intrusion Detection System improved effectively. So, the method can be extended significantly.

The isothermal oxidation behavior of NiAl-30.9Cr-3Mo-0.1Dy alloy has been investigated in the paper. The results reveal that Dy-addition significantly improves the oxidation resistance, which is attributed to the formation of continuously compact Al2O3 layer and rich-Cr transition layer on the surface of the tested alloy.

The objective of this paper is double layer competition sports flooring. The orthogonal regression experiments were carried out in order to establish the regression equations between keel structral influence factors (keel siding, keel thickness, keel spacing) and property indexes of sports flooring (force reduction rate Fr, standard vertical deformationVd, ball rebound rate Br). Through SPSS analysis method it find that factors and factor interaction have significant effect on Fr,Vd and Br respectively at a 95% or above confidence level. Then the regression equations of each experimental index are established and the optimum factor combinations are found out. After balancing the three experimental indexes, this paper concludes the comprehensive optimum keel structural parameters for whole property which are the span keel spacing 500mm×500mm, keel cross section 50mm×50mm. The regression equations show the statistical relationship between keel structure and property. They can be directly applied to assist the design, production procedure of keel and the field installation of sports flooring.

The concept of approximate inertial manifold (AIM) is extended to develop a kind of nonlinear order reduction technique for non-autonomous nonlinear systems in second-order form in this paper. Using the modal transformation, a large nonlinear dynamical system is split into a ‘master’ subsystem, a ‘slave’ subsystem, and a ‘negligible’ subsystem. Accordingly, a novel order reduction method (Method I) is developed to construct a low order subsystem by neglecting the ‘negligible’ subsystem and slaving the ‘slave’ subsystem into the ‘master’ subsystem using the extended AIM. As a comparison, Method II accounting for the effects of both ‘slave’ subsystem and the ‘negligible’ subsystem is also applied to obtain the reduced order subsystem. Then, a typical 5-degree-of-freedom nonlinear dynamical system is given to compare the accuracy and efficiency of the traditional Galerkin truncation (ignoring the contributions of the slave and negligible subsystems), Method I and Method II. It is shown that Method I gives a considerable increase in accuracy for little computational cost in comparison with the standard Galerkin method, and produces almost the same accuracy as Method II. Finally, a 3-degree-of-freedom nonlinear dynamical system is analyzed by using the analytic method for showing predominance and convenience of Method I to obtain the analytically reduced order system.
