Purpose – During the covid 19 pandemic life insurance companies faced matter of concerning to extension of customers of unit linked insurance policies. Unit-linked life insurance product has become a major contributor to the company's profits. This study aims to investigate the factors that influence insurance awareness and perceived value and their impact on customer retention with the covid 19 pandemic as a moderator. Design/methodology/approach – This study conducted an online survey and total of 230 completed questionnaires were collected from customers in Jakarta. The data was analyzed using SmartPLS software. Findings – Results indicate that insurance awareness, perceived value, and covid 19 pandemic significantly influence customer retention. Insurance agents, psychological factors and financial literacy significantly influence insurance awareness. E-service quality significantly affects perceived value. The interaction between the covid 19 pandemic and insurance awareness and the interaction between the covid 19 pandemic and perceived value did not significantly affect customer retention. Originality/value – The study contributes to the marketing literature by proposing a conceptual model: the life insurance customer retention model. The findings offer practical guidance to life insurance companies to keep the customer loyalty.

PURPOSE: Sperm DNA fragmentation (SDF) has been associated with male infertility and poor outcomes of assisted reproductive technology (ART). The purpose of this study was to investigate global practices related to the management of elevated SDF in infertile men, summarize the relevant professional society recommendations, and provide expert recommendations for managing this condition. MATERIALS AND METHODS: An online global survey on clinical practices related to SDF was disseminated to reproductive clinicians, according to the CHERRIES checklist criteria. Management protocols for various conditions associated with SDF were captured and compared to the relevant recommendations in professional society guidelines and the appropriate available evidence. Expert recommendations and consensus on the management of infertile men with elevated SDF were then formulated and adapted using the Delphi method. RESULTS: A total of 436 experts from 55 different countries submitted responses. As an initial approach, 79.1% of reproductive experts recommend lifestyle modifications for infertile men with elevated SDF, and 76.9% prescribe empiric antioxidants. Regarding antioxidant duration, 39.3% recommend 4-6 months and 38.1% recommend 3 months. For men with unexplained or idiopathic infertility, and couples experiencing recurrent miscarriages associated with elevated SDF, most respondents refer to ART 6 months after failure of conservative and empiric medical management. Infertile men with clinical varicocele, normal conventional semen parameters, and elevated SDF are offered varicocele repair immediately after diagnosis by 31.4%, and after failure of antioxidants and conservative measures by 40.9%. Sperm selection techniques and testicular sperm extraction are also management options for couples undergoing ART. For most questions, heterogenous practices were demonstrated. CONCLUSIONS: This paper presents the results of a large global survey on the management of infertile men with elevated SDF and reveals a lack of consensus among clinicians. Furthermore, it demonstrates the scarcity of professional society guidelines in this regard and attempts to highlight the relevant evidence. Expert recommendations are proposed to help guide clinicians.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis komunikasi guru dengan orang tua terhadap minat orang tua menyekolahkan anak dalam mewujudkan perilaku belajar siswa. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian deskriptif dengan teknik survey. Lokasi penelitian di MI Al-Jamila Kecamatan Sukaresmi Kabupaten Garut dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 98 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi guru dengan orang tua berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap minat orang tua menyekolahkan anak dalam mewujudkan perilaku belajar siswa. Artikel ini berkesimpulan bahwa Perilaku Belajar Siswa dapat terwujud dengan komunikasi guru dengan orang tua dan minat orang tua menyekolahkan anak yang baik.

Ketersediaan prasarana dan sarana transportasi merupakan suatu persyaratan utama dalam mendukung pengembangan wilayah suatu daerah, terutama bagi daerah-daerah yang mempunyai potensi sumberdaya yang besar, namun kurang didukung oleh prasarana dan sarana transportasi yang memadai. Dalam rencana tata ruang wilayah (RTRW) Kabupaten Kolaka Utara menjelaskan bahwa terdapat tiga alternatif lokasi pembangunan bandar udara. Menggunakan metode proyeksi dan deskripsi kualitatif untuk mengetahui proyeksi jumlah penduduk, proyeksi prakiraan jumlah penumpang angkutan udara, dan sistem transportasi regional dari dan menuju Kolaka Utara dan sekitarnya, menggunakan metode Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) untuk menentukan alternatif lokasi pembangunan bandar udara baru. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, lokasi yang paling strategis untuk pembangunan bandar udara yaitu Kecamatan Kodeohadengan nilai bobot sebesar 0,47. Nilai bobot menunjukkan bahwa alternatif lokasi terbaik dari ketiga alternatif lokasi yang didukung oleh sembilan aspek terutama dari aspek ekonomi, topografi, dan kondisi permukaan tanah. Hal ini disebabkan karena berada di tengah-tengah Kabupaten Kolaka Utara dan memiliki lahan yang berpotensi untuk dibangun sebuah bandara yakni area tambak dan persawahan yang sudah tidak produktif

In this study, a slow-release urea fertilizer hydrogel was synthesized from hydroxyl propyl methyl cellulose, polyvinyl alcohol and glycerol blends with paper (blended paper) as second layer. The fertilizer hydrogel was characterized by SEM, XRD and FTIR. Its retention in sandy soil, swelling behavior in distilled and tap water as well as slow-release behavior to urea were investigated. The results indicated that the fertilizer had good slow-release properties and ability to retain water in soil. However, the addition of blended paper as a second layer matrix was found to help improve the release properties of the fertilizer. The swelling kinetic of the hydrogel followed the Schott’s Second order model. The release kinetics of urea in water was best described by the Zero order model signifying that the release behavior was independent of fertilizer concentration

In this study, the optical and gamma ray shielding properties of vanadotellurite-based quaternary glasses in the xNa2O-(20-x)K2O-30V2O5-50TeO2 system were examined. The optical band gap ( E opt ) displayed an initial reduction from 2.33 to 2.30 eV (x ≤ 10 mol%), before increasing from 2.31 to 2.39 eV for x > 10 mol%, which indicated a change in non-bridging oxygen (NBO) concentration. There is an inverse relationship between Urbach energy ( E u ) and E opt . The refractive index (n) also showed an off-trend pattern within the same area (x = 10 mol%), which indicated a difference in polarizability due to changes in BO and NBO concentrations. The Phy-X software was used to analyse the radiation attenuation competence for the investigated glass systems. For the total interaction of photons between the 0.284 to 2.506 MeV energy range, the linear attenuation coefficients (LAC), the radiation protection efficiency (RPE), half-value layers (HVL) and mean free path (MFP) were determined. The increased Na2O content increased the values of LAC and RPE. The results demonstrated that the 20Na2O-30V2O5-50TeO2 composition had the most desired photon shielding properties.

Erectile dysfunction (ED) is a common type of male sexual dysfunction that has a negative impact on the quality of life. Erectile dysfunction is common in men and the incidence increases with age. Erectile dysfunction can be caused by organic disorders, such as hormonal disorders and metabolic disorders. In this case report, the authors report the case of a man who developed chronic renal failure with multiple metabolic disorders and hypogonadism. This case report described the benefits of Low Intensity Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (Li-ESWT) therapy in patients who less responsive after receiving phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitor (PDE-5 inhibitor) therapy, tadalafil as first-line therapy for erectile dysfunction. This case report was evaluated using the International Index of Erectile Function-5 (IIEF-5) questionnaire and Erection Hardness Score (EHS) score as a description of erection quality with Peak Systolic Velocity (PSV) parameters from the results of penile Color Doppler Ultrasonography (CDUS) during flaccid and Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF) parameters as angiogenesis factors. In this case report, the patient experienced improvements in erection quality, PSV parameters, and VEGF parameters after receiving Li‑ESWT therapy.

The melt-quenching technique was used to prepare tellurovanadate glasses containing sodium and potassium oxides with compositions of xNa2O-(20-x)K2O-30V2O5-50TeO2 (x = 0–20 mol%) to examine the impact of mixed-alkali oxide on alternating-current (AC) conductivity and dielectric properties. Structural analysis revealed the presence of bridging oxygen (BO) and non-bridging oxygen (NBO). Thermal analysis results demonstrated a minimum value of glass transition temperature (Tg) at x = 10 mol% with an increase in Na2O content. Jika penangkapan ikan biawan tidak mempertimbangkan kaidah-kaidah kelestarian, maka kondisi ini dapat mengakibatkan penurunan populasi ikan tersebut, sehingga perlu upaya pembudidayaan untuk mencukupi kebutuhan pasar serta untuk memelihara kelestarian sumberdaya ikan ini agar potensinya tetap lestari. Dalam kegiatan pembenihan membutuhkan indukan biawan yang siap bereproduksi, hal ini menjadi salah satu kendala bagi pembudidaya untuk mendapatkan indukan yang siap untuk memijah. Untuk mempercepat pematangan gonad dalam pemijahan maka perlu adanya bahan tambahan dalam pakan, salah satunya penambahan OODEV. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mempercepat kematangan gonad ikan biawan dan untuk mengetahui dosis yang efektif dari penggunaan hormon OODEV melalui pencampuran pakan terhadap maturasi ikan biawan. Metode penelitian ini adalah eksperimen. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 3 perlakuan 4 ulangan yaitu perlakuan A (kontrol), perlakuan B (pakan+OODEV 0,5 ml/kg pakan) dan perlakuan C (pakan+OODEV 1 ml/kg pakan) sedangkan variable pengamatan: Histologi Gonad, Gonad Somatik Indeks (GSI), Hepato Somatik Indeks (HSI), pertambahan bobot mutlak, proksimat pakan, tingkat kelangsungan hidup dan kualitas air. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa nilai GSI, HSI, pertambahan bobot mutlak dan tingkat kelangsungan hidup pada induk ikan biawan tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05). Berdasarkan hasil histologi gonad yang dilihat dari persentase nilai GSI, HSI, proksimat pakan dan gonad bahwa gonad pada induk ikan biawan mengalami perkembangan gonad selama 8 minggu pemeliharaan. Hasil histologi menunjukkan bahwa penambahan OODEV 0,5 ml/kg pakan mampu mempercepat pematangan gonad ikan selama 8 minggu, dilihat dari perkembangan telur sudah pada tahap mature dan diameter telur sudah seragam dibandingkan dengan dosis yang lain. Ten medicinal plants’ parts (roots, stembarks, and leaves) were studied to assert their suitabili ty for use in pharmaceutical industries as raw materials. The presence (qualitative analysis), concentration (quantitative analysis) and antimicrobial activities of such phytochemicals as alkaloids, tannins, saponins, steriods, phlobatannins, terpenoids, f lavonoids and cardiac glycosides (CGs) were carried out on the extracts from the plants’ leaves, stembarks and roots. Result indicates an interesting presence of all the phytochemicals in the medicinal plants (i.e. in either of the studied parts), although there are slight variation in the composition of the plant parts. Averagely, tannins shows the highest amount in all the plant studied, followed by alkaloids, while steriods, terpenoids, phlobatannins and cardacglycosides which together constitutes the ge neral phenol shows the least amount. Antimicrobial test reveals the activities of the phytochemicals in the different plant parts, and these has justified the use of the plants in the synthesis of bioactive drugs and hence their medicinal significance for bioprospective and pharmaceutical productions.

The purpose of this paper is to identify and analyze problems that occur in information systems sales PT SPNS. It also serves to control the management and control of applications running well so it can produce accurate information for decision making. The method used is book study method and field study. Study was done by reading library books, scientific papers and other sources, while the field study was done by observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The result of the evaluation is derived from the respective strengths and weaknesses - each control. Weaknesses are found, the findings presented in the form of a matrix that contains the findings and recommendations as a matter of risk remedial action. Conclusions obtained from the audit for security control, operations, limitations, input and output is good enough because it can satisfy and support the sales activities of PT SPNS.

The main objective of this study is to investigate the corrosion inhibition properties of Gardenia aqualla leaf extract on mild steel using weight determination loss method. The corrosion of mild steel was investigated at different concentrations of Gardenia aqualla at temperatures of 303, 313 and 323 K. G. aqualla inhibit corrosion rate of mild steel from 62.4 mm/yr to 6.5 mm/yr, 91.6 mm/yr to 16.6 mm/yr and 113.8 mm/yr to 28.4 mm/yr at 303, 313, and 323 K respectively. The optimum obtained yield in the inhibition efficiency is from 63.8% to 89.5%, 52.5% to 81.9% and 39% to 75% for the various temperatures respectively after an interval of 3 days being in contact in aqueous solution. Langmuir isotherm confirmed that physisorption occurred and it was found that inhibition occurred through adsorption of the constituents present in the leaf of G. aqualla obtained by phytochemical screening.

Penjualan motor merk Honda mengalami fluktuasi setiap tahun. Tahun 2012 penjualan merk Honda di Kota Pontianak mengalami penurunan penjualan yang mengikuti trend penurunan penjualan pada seluruh merk kendaraan bermotor, Tahun 2013 penjualan merk Honda kembali mengalami peningkatan jumlah penjualan. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah; untuk mengetahui pengaruh bauran pemasaran terhadap keputusan pembelian sepeda motor merk Honda di PT. Nusantara Surya Sakti Pontianak. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa; Nilai konstanta regresi linier sederhana yang diperoleh adalah sebesar 0,079, artinya jika unsur-unsur bauran pemasaran, seperti produk, harga, promosi, tempat/saluran ditribusi, orang, bukti fisik, dan proses bernilai 0 (nol), maka keputusan pembelian konsumen sepeda motor merk Honda di PT Nusantara Surya Sakti akan bernilai 0,079. Nilai koefisien regresi sederhana variable bauran pemasaran yang diperoleh sebesar 0,964, artinya jika bauran pemasaran di tingkatkan sebesar satu satuan dengan asumsi unsur-unsur lain tidak mengalami perubahan atau tetap, maka keputusan pembelian konsumen pada pembelian sepeda motor merk Honda di PT. Purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the marketing mix on purchase decisions of Honda motorcycles in PT Nusantara Surya Sakti Pontianak. The study is a descriptive study, using data collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and corporate documents. The population of consumers who purchased a motorcycle brands Honda PT. NSS Pontianak and the sample is determined as much as 97 respondents. Terms samples are age (20-56) old, Buying motorcycle brands Honda for its own purposes, able to read and write well, Domiciled in Pontianak City and surrounding areas. The analytical tool used is a simple regression. The results showed that the constant value obtained was 0.079, meaning that if the elements of the marketing mix is 0 (zero), then the consumer purchase decisions of Honda motorcycles brands in PT Nusantara Surya Sakti would be worth 0.079. Simple regression coefficient value of the marketing mix variables obtained at 0.964, meaning that if the marketing mix is increased by one unit, then the purchasing decisions of consumers on the purchase of Honda's motorcycle brands in PT. Nusantara Surya Sakti Pontianak will increase by 0.964 units.
