Title: Organizational structure of beach soccer in the Czech Republic and suggestions to its improvement Objectives: The main objective of this thesis is to create a series of suggestions to improve the activities of the organizational structure of beach soccer in the Czech Republic. To achieve this, it was first necessary to analyse this organizational structure by analysing the individual sequential managerial functions (planning, organizing, selecting and deploying staff, leading people and control). Title: Student's attitudes to non-traditional sports Objectives: The main aim of this thesis is to determine the attitudes of students of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport of Charles University towards selected non-traditional sports. A secondary task is to identify ideal information channels for non-traditional sports and to write recommendations on how to popularize non-traditional sports. Methods: An electronic survey was used to investigate students' attitudes towards non- traditional sports. The results were expressed statistically using absolute and relative frequency methods. The whole research included a pre-survey which was used to select several non-traditional sports which were discussed more in the thesis. Results: As a result of the survey, some differences were found between active practice of non-traditional sports and watching them. At the same time, it was found that some of the selected non-traditional sports do not use social networks effectively, which should be addressed by the representatives of these sports if they want to increase the popularity of their sports in the country. Title: Knowledge and attitudes of UK FTVS students to disc golf. Aim: The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to find out what attitudes students of Faculty of Physical Education and Sports of Charles University have to disc golf and what awareness they have of the sport. Methods: The electronic survey method was used in this work. Through surveying FTVS UK students, data about their awareness of disc golf and their attitudes towards this sport were collected. Results: The research found that most students have a basic knowledge of disc golf. More detailed knowledge of this sport is less common. Students' attitudes are most often positive or neutral. Název: Burnout Syndrome in Professional Team Sports Cíle: The aim of this study is to assess a prevalence of burnout syndrome and engagement in team professional sports and explore relationships between burnout and engagement and social resources and demands produced by teammates, coaches, and global sport environment and other selected variables (motivation, perfectionism etc.). Metody: The research was carried out by means of an electronic survey. The questionnaire was constructed from 7 separate questionnaires, each focusing on one of the selected predictors of burnout and engagement. It was distributed to professional male and female players of volleyball (extra-league), hockey (Chance League and 2nd League) and handball (extra-league). A total of 102 professional athletes participated in the study. The obtained data were processed using descriptive statistics and correlation and regression analysis. Výsledky: The results provide an overview of the relationships between burnout and engagement and the selected predictors, which are types of motivation, effort goals, perfectionism, coach-created motivational climate, and team cohesion. Title: Study on satisfaction of employees with XXX service Aims: The objective of this thesis is to verify the satisfaction of employees of an unnamed company with a program from XXX company. Based on the opinions and comments, a recommendation will be proposed as to whether this service should continue to be offered to the mentioned employees in its current content, in a modified form or not to be provided to them at all in the future. Methodology: Methodology: In this phesis, I applied quantitative research via collecting on- line forms and qualitative research based on a thorough interview. The form filled in by employees of the payroll departement was based on the SERVPERF method. In order to understand the activites of XXX company, the interview was held with a person from the company's close management. Results: The results of the employee survey are captured in a clear graphical form and along with the help of charts. The data analysis revealed that the employees are extremely satisfied with the programme from XXX. On the other hand, several shortcomings emerged which led later to recommendations for modification of the service and extension of the cooperation between the two entities. Title: Differences in the level of aspiration and stress resistance in female floorball players of Tatran Střešovice Objectives: The main aim of this research is to contribute to the search for a relation between the level of aspirations and performance in athletes. Furthermore, whether there is a difference in stress resistance in female floorball players of different ages. The general aim is to contribute to the current knowledge base in this area with new partial results based on the implementation of my own research investigation. Methods: The TATSO test was used for this research. The author of this version of the test is Janák, who modified the original test by Hošek from 1979 into its current form. The test measures the level of aspiration, resistance to stress and psychomotor tempo. The test is suitable for group investigations, but personal presence is required (it cannot be distributed electronically). It is a pencil-and-paper type of performance test. Results: I found that the older group of female floorball players had higher aspirations compared to the younger group, so the first hypothesis was confirmed. Title: Possibilities of improving the service of a selected company Marketing research of customer satisfaction Objectives: The purpose of this diploma thesis is to create a proposal to improve the Surf Camp in Portugal in the upcoming season. The evaluation of current customers satisfaction was achieved through both the standpoint of its customers as well as its management. Methods: Both qualitative and quantitative methods were used to evaluate the customers satisfaction. The main research methods used were questionnaire surveys, an interview using the instruction with the company's owner and employ and internal data analysis. Results: The results of this diploma thesis are shown in graphs, tables and classification crosses. The data obtained helped to identify opportunities for improvement, and based on them, suggestions and recommendations were made to improve Surf Camp in Portugal. Title: Athlete's Dual Career in Czech republic Objectives: The main aim of this thesis is to suggest an appropriate arrangement for program of the Czech Olympic Committee "Dual Career" and for the development of dual career issues in the Czech Republic. Methods: There was used secondary and primary sources in this thesis. The secondary sources stem from publicly available sources such as official website, annual reports, or previous research. As a primary source was used qualitative method of in-depth interviews with Czech athletes Lucie Charvátová, Ondřej Synek and program' manager Kateřina Neumannová. There was also used SPLISS research to characterize the current situation. Results: It was founded out the Dual Career has a great potential. However, there are currently insufficient financial and human resources for reaching the bigger part of the focus group. There was suggested the arrangements for improving the issue of dual career in this thesis. Czech society needs the implementation of changes at the legislative level. Also, there was recommended to establish cooperation with more universities and organizations offering employment to athletes. Title: Organization of voluteers at the RunTour running series Objectives: The main objective of this diploma thesis is to evaluace the satisfaction of volunteers and organizers with the volunteer program on the running series RunTour and to suggest possible recommendations for its improvement. Methods: As part of the qualitative survey, the method of in-depth interviews was used, which took place with the coordinator of the volunteer program and with the heads of selected sections. Furthermore, a quantitative method of electronic interrogation was applied. The research was complemented by observations made by the author of the thesis, who personally participated in all races. Results: The research shows that most volunteers and organizers evaluate the volunteer program very positively. However, research has identified several areas where there is room for improvement. Title: Employment of former fighters on the labor market Objectives: The aim of the diploma thesis is to research the employment of former professional fighters instance disciplines onthe labor market and to create recommendations for their employment on the labor market after the end of their sports career. Methods: Primary data collection was needed to fulfill the main objective of the thesis. The research used a quantitative method, specifically a questionnaire survey. An electronic questionnaire, which was distributed among former professional fighters, then provided the obtained data necessary for the subsequent interpretation of the results. In addition, the obtainedresults were enrichedwith a qualitative method,inthe framework of which structured interviews were also conducted with former professional fighters. Results: Employees from the ranks of former fighters are a specific group of employees who often enter the labor market with insufficient experience. The obtained results show that ex-wrestlers are competitive on the labor market compared to other employees due to the distinctive and specific personality traits and competencies acquired within the sports career. Title: Analysis of social networks of NHL clubs Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to analyze content of social media posts from NHL clubs. Based on that I will establish recommendations which content should be published on each social media for other ice hockey clubs. Methods: In my thesis I used these methods: content analysis, statistical methods. I collected data from social media and wrote them in prepared tables. Data were collected from four social media platforms from five NHL clubs. Statistical methods helped for interpretation and for establishing recommendations. Results: With categorization of each post published by NHL clubs on each social media platform I could establish recommendations which content should be published on each social media. Title: Diagnosis of personality characteristics in head coaches of a selected sport Objectives: The aim of this work is to diagnosed and interpreted selected personal characteristics of head coaches (sport managers) of selected sports. The second aim is to identify significant testing differences between the head coaches of selected sports: sports managers and "other " managers Methods: To achieve the objectives, in the empirical part of master thesis was used quantitative research in the form of standardized tests to dynamics-aspiration- TDA and Eyseneck's personality questionnaire. In the dynamics of aspirations were evaluated and interpreted these personal dimensions: psychomotor pace aspirations and values of mental resilience. In Eyseneck's personality questionnaire two main dimensions of personality: neuroticism and extraversion were evaluated and interpreted.Furthermore, the value of the "lie score "was evaluated and the type of personality temperament was determined. Title: Study of satisfaction of Czech beachvolleyball championship participants compared to analogous foreign tournaments Aims: The main aim of this diploma thesis is to determine satisfaction of beach volleyball players with the Czech beachvolleyball championship in Opava 2020 in comparation with foreign tournaments. Following these results recommendations and advice for improvement of the Czech beachvolleyball championship are proposed. Methodology: The main methods used in this thesis are electronic questionnaires and semi- structured interviews. Creation of the questionnaire was inspired by the SERVIMPERF method and Brady's model. The questionnaire was investigating 26 attributes overall. The data set consists of players from Czech's beach volleyball's national team. Interviews were conducted with two national team players, and the aim was primarily to add to the information obtained from the electronic questionnaires. Results: The obtained data is interpretated via graphs, mostly by cross-tab classification and tables. These data showed that the players were not content with the vast majority of investigated attributes of the 2020 Czech beachvolleyball championships. Title: Specification of criteria for the selection of football talents in Sport Invest agency Objectives: The main aim of this work is to compile a shortlist of the most important criteria, according to which it is possible to select football talents in the U15 category from the perspective of the representative agency. Methods: Qualitative research methods were used to create the shortlist of the most important criteria in the selection of football talents. The shortlist of criteria that are followed when selecting the talents was determined by using a semi-structured interview with professional coaches. It was consequently narrowed by scaling each criterion into the final form of the most important criteria for the identification of football talents in the U15 category. Results: The result of the bachelor's thesis is the compilation of a shortlist of criteria that will support the identification of football talents in the U15 category. Based on semi-structured interviews with professional trainers, 94 criteria were identified. Based on the results of the survey, create incentives to improve services, which will contribute to strengthening customer satisfaction with the services of these bases. Methods: Qualitative and quantitative research was used in the diploma thesis. Quantitative research, which focused on client satisfaction with services, was conducted in the form of written and electronic surveys. Qualitative research, which served to deepen the research, was carried out in the form of several semi-structured interviews with employees of the selected company. Title: The Competency Profile of the Golf Coach Objectives: The main aim of this thesis is to create the competency profile of an ideal golf coach with focus on adult recreational players. It was based on the identification of the most important competencies from two perspectives, namely coaches and their clients. Methods: The thesis combines qualitative and quantitative methods. According to the expert literature studies, previous researches and interviews with the professional golf coaches was created a list of four competency groups needed for quality work of golf coach. Coaches and players evaluated the importance of individual competencies by eletronic questioning. For clarity, the individual competencies are divided into four groups, specifically to character traits and features, abilitites and skills, education and knowledge, other professional attributes. Title: Customer satisfaction with services of Avalon fitness center Objectives: The main goal of this diploma thesis is to determine customer satisfaction with the services provided by Avalon fitness center through the SERVPERF questionnaire. Based on the results, make changes and propose recommendations that should lead to improved quality of services in the Avalon fitness center. Methods: A modified SERVPERF questionnaire method was used to determine customer satisfaction with the services in the Avalon fitness center. This questionnaire measures the actual perception of the quality of services provided. In addition to the questionnaire survey, semi-structured interviews were conducted to deepen the issue with management, trainers and selected customers of the fitness center. Results: The results of the questionnaire survey are shown using graphs and tables. It is clear from the results that the customers of the Avalon fitness center are very satisfied with the services provided. Title: Marketing mix of sports studio Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to analyse the current marketing mix of the GoMango sports studio. The data gathered from the analysis are used to suggest posible adjustements of the present marketing mix to atract more customers. Methods: In this thesis the evaluation of the present marketing mix was conducted through the marketing research. Both quantitative and qualitative methods were used. For the quantitative part semi-structured questionnaire was used. For the qualitative part informal interview was conducted with the manager of GoMango studio. In order to identify potencial strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats SWOT analysis was carried out. Results: The evaluation of the marketing mix of the GoMango studio was very positive. The outcome of the reseach indicated that only a couple of changes in certain areas are needed. It was both an analysis of secondary data, which was performed from internal sources, which were provided for the purposes of this work, and unstructured interviews, which were used to communicate with selected members of the Czech and Hungarian Olympic Committees. All these methods were finally completed and the collected data were applied to the comparative analysis. Results: The results of the work prove the high degree of presentation of the state brand through the organization of an international sporting event in both cases of EYOF. At the same time, the results show that Hungary was able to use more elements than the Czech Republic to present its brand. Title: Attitudes to the merger of floorball clubs IVANTI Tigers a START98 Kunratice Objectives: The main goal of this thesis is to find out the attitudes and perception of respondents to the merger of floorball clubs. More specifically, the women's team Ivanti Tigers as a defunct association with the male team Start98 Kunratice as a successor association. The partial goal is to propose recomendations that will make it easier for members and supporters of the club to accept changes. Methods: In the survey, were used both quantitative and qualitative methods. The quantitative method, during electronic questioning, where the members of the club, coaches and parents across all categories were selected as respondents. The survey concerned only members of the defunct association. A semi-structured in-depth interview with the representative of the Tigers club management was chosen as a qualitative method. Results: The survey found the attitude of respondents to the merger and their overall perception of the project. At first, the results revealed that these attitudes were very negative, mainly due to a lack of communication between members and management. Title: Competence profile of a women's football coach Aims: The main aim of the thesis is to create six competence profiles of a women's football coach, from the perspective of players, coaches, adult players, adolescent players, lower division players and upper division players. A partial aim is to compare the importance of individual competences for the aforementioned groups of respondents. Methods: The thesis used quantitative research methods. After reviewing professional literature, a list of three groups of 55 competences necessary for the work of a women's football coach was compiled. By means of an electronic questionnaire, women's football coaches and female football players in all adult and adolescent divisions were asked to assess the importance of individual competences. The questionnaire had a total of 424 respondents. Results: Six competence profiles of women's football coaches were created in the thesis, according to players, coaches, adult players, adolescent players, lower division players and upper division players. First one is constructed from the perspective of players and second one from the perspective of representatives of beach soccer clubs. Subsequently, these competency profiles are compared and linked to the results and brief recommendations, which aim is to help in the future selection of coaches. Methods: The thesis uses two main methods, which are electronic questioning and semi-structured interview. As part of the electronic survey, a questionnaire was created and distributed to respondents via e-mail or social networks. Results: The results revealed that there are certain similarities between the competencies that players and club management consider important, which can be used to better selection, evaluation, rewarding and developing coaches. Title: Pupils' Attitudes to Physical Education at a Primary School in Slaný Objectives: The primary aim of this study is to find out how pupils of the chosen primary school in Slaný perceive PE and to determine factors, which influence their attitudes. Methods: The study took place at a chosen primary school in the city of Slaný and 99 pupils from 6th to 9th grade took part in it. The children were asked to complete an electronic questionnaire consisting of 23 questions, which was loaded to the website of the lower secondary school department. Before publishing, the questionnaire was consulted with the head of this bachelor thesis and verified by a few other people. For the theoretical part, some secondary data from professional articles, literature and websites were collected and analysed. Results: According to the results, most children have a positive attitude to PE. It brings them joy and relief from sitting at a desk as in the other subjects. There are also pupils, who have negative feelings about PE. Not all the students have the same skills and aptitudes in sports and those who are not as good at some activities have certain struggles during the classes. An analysis of texts, documents, websites and social media was also used. Results: The analysis found that the betting agency Sazkabet does not use all marketing tools as effectively as it could. Title: Attitudes and awareness of students UK FTVS about darts Objectives: The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to find out attitudes and awareness of UK FTVS's students about darts. There are also other goals - testing students's knowledge about darts and description of darts' history and culture. Methods: As far as research, quantitative method of questionare survey was used. Students were asked to answer eighteen questions which were based on operalization and approved pilotage. The other used method was in-depth interview. Topics of the problematics were discused on the basis of half-structured interviews, led by qualified experts. The working out of theorethic part was done by studying of specialized literature and internet pages or articles and also by information from interviews with experts. Results: The survey showed the majority does not understand darts as a professional sport but as a kind of entertaiment, Almost everybody has already played darts and more than half would take part in some tournament. Students seem to have quite good knowledge about darts as well. The results revealed certain interest of students in darts, slightly above-average awareness and mostly positive attitude. On the basis of the results, suggestions and recommendations were developed to improve services. Methods: In the empirical part of the diploma thesis, quantitative-qualitative research was used. A written and electronic questionnaire designed for the stadium visitors was made in order to find out the satisfaction of the public skating visitors with the services provided at the Ludvík Košek Winter Hall in Turnov. Futhermore a semi-structured interview was conducted with the manager and semi-structured interviews with the stadium visitors were conducted to deepen the research. Results: The results of the research are represented by tables, graphs, classification crosses and diagrams. The results show that the stadium visitors are quite satisfied with the services. Results: Based on the analysis of the service quality, it seems that the offered quality of fitness centre services is at a relatively high level. However, the research also identified some shortcomings in the individual indicators and found room for improvement. According to the identified shortcomings, recommendations and other steps were proposed to the fitness centre, which should contribute to even better services. Title: Attitudes of UK FTVS students toward esports. Objective: The main aim of this thesis is to identify what attitudes students of Charles University have to esports. We will also discuss whether the students would accept esports as one of the Olympic disciplines, and if esports are even perceived as a full-fledged sport. Methods: The method used for the bachelor thesis was quantitative questioning. Data were obtained by using an electronic questionnaire. Results: The results point to the penetration of esports into the consciousness of students. This is confirmed by the high overall know-how in the foreign and also domestic esports scene. Students attitudes towards esports are relatively neutral. The opinion of the students for the inclusion of esports in the Olympic Games was negative, because according to the research, they do not perceive esports as a full-fledged sport. Name: Attitudes and awareness of tax havens among students of Charles University FPES majoring in PES and MNG Target: The aim of this bachelor thesis is to find out attitudes and awareness of tax havens among students of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport of Charles University, namely between the field of Physical Education and Sport and the field of Physical Education and Sport Management and compare possible differences in answers that will be collected based on quantitative research. The contribution of this work will be to learn whether there is a difference in attitudes and awareness of tax havens among students of sports and economics and whether students are even interested in learning more about this problem. Methods: The thesis uses the method of quantitative research, namely electronic questioning, whose aim is to determine the attitudes and awareness of at least 40 students from each field. The sample of respondents was thus determined by the partially influenced selection. Title: The competency profile of the coordinator of volunteers at a sports event Objectives: The main aim of this thesis is to create the competency profile of the coordinator of volunteers, primarily from the perspective of volunteers, for the needs of organizers of sports events especially in the Labe aréna Račice. The secondary tasks are to create the same profile from the perspective of managers, then from the perspective of volunteers and managers and to compare those particular perspectives. Methods: The thesis combines qualitative and quantitative methods. Based on expert literature studies and interviews with the coordinators of volunteers and other managers of sports events a list of competencies necessary for the effective work of the coordinator of volunteers was created. Then the importance of individual competencies was evaluated by written questioning of volunteers at the 2019 Junior and U23 Canoe Sprint European Championships. Results: The created competency profile includes 20 competencies that were evaluated by volunteers as the most important ones. Title: Care of foreign players in Czech basketball Objectives: The main goal of this bachelor thesis is to understand the difference in care for foreign players at selected clubs of the Kooperativa NBL. Methods: A qualitative research method of personal interviews is used in the practical part of the bachelor thesis. The respondents are foreign players playing for Czech teams and also the management of the club. Interviewing took place in March 2019. In total 15 interviews were conducted. Results: The outcomes of the research are processed by comparative analysis in the fifth chapter of this work. According to the results the care of foreign players differs mainly in access to foreign reinforcements. The majority of players confirmed that the terms of the contract are being respected. We have noticed that the teams in the first half of the table tend to choose experienced players while the bottom for financial reasons elects rookies.
