The influence of changes in agro-climatic conditions of grape growing on the wines quality in the conditions of LLC “ITC Shabo” is studied in the paper. For the past two decades, scientists around the world have been concerned about the effects of climate change. Studies of the global climate change impact on agriculture have already covered a significant area of global food crops. Growing grapes more than growing any other plant depends on climatic conditions, soil condition, temperature in certain periods of vegetation and development. This requires a particularly careful approach to the territorial location of wine production, including in terms of varietal. As a result of research, the qualitative characteristics of red grapes: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir, white varieties: Pinot Gris, Rhine Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Telti Kuruk were analyzed in order to justify production of the Shabo terroir wines. Comparative analysis of data obtained from the white and red wine materials study, allowed to establish ranges of their chemical composition variation. Compliance of wine products with the regulatory documentation requirements primarily characterizes the qualitative characteristics of wine materials. The scientific concept provides taking into account by the winemaker a set of natural, climatic conditions and agricultural techniques for a particular area of the vineyard from which the wine is produced. The main task of this approach is to maximize display and preserve in wine individual characteristics, as display of a complex of terroir descriptors with obligatory preservation of descriptors of a grape variety.

Abstract Background Hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) is a curative option for a growing number of patients with hematologic diseases and malignancies. However, HCT-related factors, such as total body irradiation used for conditioning, graft-versus-host disease, and prolonged exposure to immunosuppressive therapy, result in very high risk for melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancer (NMSC). In fact, skin cancer is the most common subsequent neoplasm in HCT survivors, tending to develop at a time when survivors’ follow-up care has largely transitioned to the primary care setting. The goal of this study is to increase skin cancer screening rates among HCT survivors through patient-directed activation alone or in combination with physician-directed activation. The proposed intervention will identify facilitators of and barriers to risk-based screening in this population and help reduce the burden of cancer-related morbidity after HCT. Methods/design 720 HCT survivors will be enrolled in this 12-month randomized controlled trial. This study uses a comparative effectiveness design comparing (1) patient activation and education (PAE, N = 360) including text messaging and print materials to encourage and motivate skin examinations; (2) PAE plus primary care physician activation (PAE + Phys, N = 360) adding print materials for the physician on the HCT survivors’ increased risk of skin cancer and importance of conducting a full-body skin exam. Patients on the PAE + Phys arm will be further randomized 1:1 to the teledermoscopy (PAE + Phys+TD) adding physician receipt of a portable dermatoscope to upload images of suspect lesions for review by the study dermatologist and an online course with descriptions of dermoscopic images for skin cancers. Discussion When completed, this study will provide much-needed information regarding strategies to improve skin cancer detection in other high-risk (e.g. radiation-exposed) cancer survivor populations, and to facilitate screening and management of other late effects (e.g. cardiovascular, endocrine) in HCT survivors. Background Allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) is an effective treatment for patients with hematologic malignancies, but is associated with life-threatening toxicities which contribute to prolonged hospitalization and chronic comorbidities. The presence of life-threatening toxicities results in variable length of survival. In this context, identifying appropriate prognostic biomarkers of HCT response is of clinical importance. Pre-treatment elevated resting heart rate (RHR) has been associated with increased risk of toxicities and worse survival in patients with solid tumors, but this has not been studies in patients undergoing HCT. Purpose To examine the association between pre-HCT RHR and outcomes after allogeneic HCT. Methods This was a retrospective cohort study of patients who underwent allogeneic HCT for acute leukemia or myelodysplastic syndrome as adults (≥18 years old). RHR was obtained from pre-HCT screening electrocardiogram or echocardiogram after a 5-minute rest in the supine position. RHR was first divided into quartiles: 50-66 beat per minutes (bpm), 67-75 bpm, 76-85 bpm, 86-163 bpm. There was no significant association between RHR and 2-year mortality among the three lowest quartiles, and they were combined in our analyses (lower RHR [ Results There were 792 consecutive patients who underwent HCT between 2007-2014. Median age was 51 years (range 18–74 years); 53.8% were male and 57.1% were non-Hispanic white. Average length of hospitalization was significantly longer in patients with elevated RHR compared to those with lower RHR (35.6 [21.2] vs 32.0 [18.7] days; P = 0.003). However, there was no association between RHR and the development of MACE after HCT. Patients with elevated RHR had significantly worse 2-year overall survival (50.2% vs. 66.1%, p Conclusion This study is the first to demonstrate the association between pre-treatment RHR and clinically important outcomes in patients with acute leukemia or myelodysplastic syndrome undergoing HCT. This information may be used to facilitate treatment decisions prior to HCT and guide interventions to decrease the risk of treatment-related complications after HCT.

Background: Allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) recipients have increased risk of developing glucose intolerance and diabetes mellitus (DM). The strongest risk factor for glucose intolerance is being overweight/obese, as determined by body mass index (BMI), which does not account for differences in body composition. We examined the association between body composition measures from pre-HCT CT and early-onset (≤30 days) de novo glucose intolerance after HCT, and determined its impact on nonrelapse mortality (NRM). Methods: This study included 749 patients without pre-HCT DM. Skeletal muscle loss [abnormal skeletal muscle gauge (SMG)] and abnormal visceral adiposity (VA) were defined by sex-specific tertiles. Fine–Gray proportional subdistribution HR estimates and 95% confidence intervals (CI) were obtained to determine the association between muscle loss and VA and development of glucose intolerance. 1 year NRM was calculated for patients alive at day 30. Results: Median age at HCT was 50.2 years. By day 30, 8.1% of patients developed glucose intolerance and 731 remained alive. In multivariable analysis, abnormal SMG was associated with increased risk of glucose intolerance in nonoverweight (BMI < 25 kg/m2) patients (HR = 3.00; 95% CI, 1.15–7.81; P = 0.024); abnormal VA was associated with increased risk of glucose intolerance in overweight/obese patients (HR = 2.26; 95% CI, 1.24–4.12; P = 0.008). Glucose intolerance was independently associated with NRM (HR = 1.88; 95% CI, 1.05–3.39; P = 0.035). Conclusions: Abnormal SMG and VA were associated with glucose intolerance in nonoverweight and overweight/obese patients, respectively, which contributed to increased risk of 1 year NRM. Background: The purpose of this study was to examine the association between baseline skeletal muscle measurements, acute toxicity (immune effector cell–associated neurotoxicity syndrome [ICANS], cytokine release syndrome), and treatment efficacy in patients undergoing CAR T-cell therapy for B-lineage lymphoma. Patients and Methods: Skeletal muscle measurements were obtained from automated CT measurements in 226 consecutive patients who received CAR T-cell therapy between 2015 and 2021. The Kaplan-Meier method was used to examine progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS) at 1-year. Multivariable regression was used to calculate the hazard ratio (HR) with 95% confidence intervals, adjusted for covariates. Results: The median age of the cohort was 63.1 years (range, 18.5–82.4 years), and most patients were male (66%) and had primary refractory disease (58%). Patients with abnormally low skeletal muscle at baseline were at greater risk of ICANS (HR, 1.74; 95% CI, 1.05–2.87) and had longer length of hospitalization (mean 27.7 vs 22.9 days; PPConclusions: This information can be used for risk stratification prior to CAR T-cell therapy or to implement prehabilitation and nutritional optimization before lymphodepletion as well as thereafter. These efforts will be complementary to ongoing efforts toward sustained efficacy after CAR T-cell therapy.

The artificial methods of must concentration were discussed in current study: the microwave vacuum dehydration, reverse osmosis and cryoextraction. The main factor of using of alternative ways is deficiently low temperatures in winter period that are necessary for freezing grapes on vine according to the classical technology. The benefits and disadvantages of using of non-classic processes to obtain sweet musts were shown. The physical, chemical and sensory characteristics of wine made from grapes previously frozen by alternative and natural ways were analyzed. Indicators influencing on price of icewines and dessert wines bottle including agricultural climatic, technological and marketing factors were determined. Detailed indicators highlight specificity of used technology and represent consumer preferences. Producers of winemaking regions of Argentina, New Zealand, Israel, Ukraine and Australia adhere to provisions that are inconsistent with the standards of Canada and the European countries regarding the icewine output. These instruments determine the processing of grapes and parameters reflect on parameters of the finished product.

We reconstructed 3D computational models of left ventricular end-diastolic shape for each subject and assessed the ability of conventional remodeling indices (volume, mass, and mass to volume ratio) vs. shape modes derived from a statistical shape atlas of an asymptomatic reference population to stratify anthracycline-related remodeling. We compared conventional parameters and five atlas-based shape modes: 1) between survivors and the reference population (N = 1991) using multivariable linear regression, and 2) within survivors by anthracycline dose (low versus high) using two-sided T-tests, multivariable logistic regression, and receiver operating characteristic curves. Results Compared with the reference population, survivors had differences in conventional measures (lower volume and mass) and shape modes (corresponding to lower overall size and lower sphericity; all p p = 0.039). Collectively, atlas-based shape modes in conjunction with conventional measures discriminated survivors who received low vs. high anthracycline dosage (area under the curve [AUC] 0.930, 95% confidence interval 0.816, 1.00) significantly better than conventional measures alone (AUC 0.710, 95% confidence interval 0.473, 0.947; AUC comparison p = 0.0498). Conclusions Compared with a reference population, heart size is smaller in anthracycline-exposed childhood cancer survivors. Atlas-based measures of left ventricular shape may improve the detection of anthracycline dose-related remodeling differences.

Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is a leading cause of morbidity and mortality in hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) survivors. In these patients, such risk factors as hypertension, diabetes, obesity, and physical inactivity are important modifiers of CVD risk. However, the period when HCT survivors are at greatest risk of developing these risk factors, and in turn CVD, coincides with a drop in engagement in survivorship care. We examined the feasibility and acceptability of a 4-week remote risk-based monitoring (blood pressure monitor, weight scale, pulse oximeter, glucometer) and management program in 18 (11 allogeneic and 7 autologous) HCT survivors at intermediate-high risk of CVD. The median patient age was 66 years (range, 53 to 74 years), 67% had hypertension, 22% had diabetes, 11% were obese (body mass index ≥30 kg/m2), 56% were at intermediate risk of CVD, and 44% were at high risk of CVD. Weekly compliance with the remote monitoring schedule (≥3 readings/week using all devices) ranged from 72% in week 1 to 83% in weeks 2 to 4. Fifteen participants (83%) generated 86 alerts that were outside the predetermined range of normal; 63 of these readings (73%) normalized without intervention, and 23 (27%) necessitated triage by the study research nurse. Nearly all participants reported that the study kept them motivated and involved in their healthcare, and >85% agreed that the study supported their healthcare goals, helped them learn and manage their health conditions, and increased their access to healthcare. These findings may set the foundation for innovative risk-based and remote interventions to reduce the burden of CVD in this growing population of patients.

Background High intensity treatments such as hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) can be curative for patients with hematologic malignancies, but this needs to be balanced by the high risk of nonrelapse mortality (NRM) during the first 2 years after HCT. Sarcopenia (low muscle mass) is associated with physical disability and premature mortality in individuals with nonmalignant diseases and may be a predictor of NRM and poor overall survival in patients undergoing HCT. Methods This was a retrospective cohort study of 859 patients with acute leukemia or myelodysplastic syndrome who underwent a first HCT as adults (≥18 years) between 2007 and 2014. Sarcopenia was assessed from pre-HCT abdominal computed tomography scans. Two-year cumulative incidence of NRM was calculated, with relapse/progression considered as a competing risk event. Fine-Gray subdistribution hazard ratio estimates and 95% confidence intervals (CI) were obtained and adjusted for relevant covariates. Kaplan-Meier method was used to examine overall survival. All statistical tests were two-sided. Results Median age at HCT was 51 years (range = 18–74 years); 52.5% had a high [≥3] HCT-comorbidity index; 33.7% had sarcopenia pre-HCT. Sarcopenia was an independent predictor of higher NRM risk (hazard ratio = 1.58, 95% CI = 1.16 to 2.16) compared with patients who were not. The 2-year incidence of NRM approached 30% in patients with sarcopenia and high (≥3) HCT-comorbidity index. Patients with sarcopenia had on average a longer hospitalization (37.2 days vs 31.5 days, P Conclusions Sarcopenia is an important and independent predictor of survival after HCT, with potential additional downstream impacts on health-economic outcomes. This information can be used to facilitate treatment decisions prior to HCT and guide interventions to decrease the risk of treatment-related complications after HCT.

PURPOSE To examine the incidence and risk factors for de novo atrial fibrillation (AF) after allogeneic hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) and to describe the impact of AF on HCT-related outcomes. METHODS A retrospective cohort study design was used to examine AF and associated outcomes in 487 patients who underwent allogeneic HCT from 2014 to 2016 and to characterize patient- and HCT-related risk factors. A nested case-control study design was used to describe the association between pre-HCT echocardiographic measures and future AF events. RESULTS The median age at HCT was 52.4 years (18.1-78.6); the median time to AF was 117.5 days (4.0-1,405.0). The 5-year cumulative incidence of AF was 10.6%. Older (≥ 50 years) age (hazard ratio [HR], 2.76; 95% CI, 1.37 to 5.58), HLA-unrelated donor (HR, 2.20; 95% CI, 1.18 to 4.12), dyslipidemia (HR, 2.40; 95% CI, 1.23 to 4.68), and pre-HCT prolonged QTc interval (HR, 2.55; 95% CI, 1.38 to 4.72) were independent risk factors for AF. Despite having comparable left ventricular systolic function, patients who developed AF were significantly more likely to have lower left atrial ejection fraction, left atrial reservoir function, and elevated tricuspid regurgitant jet velocity prior to HCT, compared with patients who did not. The incidence rate of stroke after AF was 143 per 1,000 person-years. In adjusted analyses, AF was associated with a 12.8-fold (HR, 12.76; 95% CI, 8.76 to 18.57) risk of all-cause mortality and 15.8-fold (HR, 15.78; 95% CI, 8.70 to 28.62) risk of nonrelapse mortality. CONCLUSION The burden of AF after allogeneic HCT population is substantial, and the development of AF is associated with poor survival. We identified important associations between patient demographics, pre-HCT cardiac parameters, HCT-related exposures, and risk of AF, setting the stage for targeted prevention strategies during and after HCT.

Background Hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) is a curative option for a growing number of patients with hematologic diseases and malignancies. However, HCT-related factors, such as total body irradiation used for conditioning, graft-versus-host disease, and prolonged exposure to immunosuppressive therapy, result in very high risk for melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancer (NMSC). In fact, skin cancer is the most common subsequent neoplasm in HCT survivors, tending to develop at a time when survivors’ follow-up care has largely transitioned to the primary care setting. The goal of this study is to increase skin cancer screening rates among HCT survivors through patient-directed activation alone or in combination with physician-directed activation. The proposed intervention will identify facilitators of and barriers to risk-based screening in this population and help reduce the burden of cancer-related morbidity after HCT. Methods/design 720 HCT survivors will be enrolled in this 12-month randomized controlled trial. This study uses a comparative effectiveness design comparing (1) patient activation and education (PAE, N = 360) including text messaging and print materials to encourage and motivate skin examinations; (2) PAE plus primary care physician activation (PAE + Phys, N = 360) adding print materials for the physician on the HCT survivors’ increased risk of skin cancer and importance of conducting a full-body skin exam. Patients on the PAE + Phys arm will be further randomized 1:1 to the teledermoscopy (PAE + Phys+TD) adding physician receipt of a portable dermatoscope to upload images of suspect lesions for review by the study dermatologist and an online course with descriptions of dermoscopic images for skin cancers. Discussion When completed, this study will provide much-needed information regarding strategies to improve skin cancer detection in other high-risk (e.g. radiation-exposed) cancer survivor populations, and to facilitate screening and management of other late effects (e.g. cardiovascular, endocrine) in HCT survivors. Introduction: Chimeric antigen receptor T cell (CAR-T) therapy is an effective treatment for patients with relapsed/refractory diffuse large B cell lymphoma (DLBCL) or other B-cell lymphomas. However, the potent anti-lymphoma effect of CAR-T is balanced by the risk of acute toxicities, namely cytokine release syndrome (CRS) and Immune effector cell-Associated Neurotoxicity Syndrome (ICANS), as well as the variable length of progression-free survival (PFS) after CAR-T. Tools to better risk-stratify for adverse outcomes and to guide targeted interventions are lacking. Sarcopenia (loss of lean muscle mass) is an important cause of age-related functional decline in the general population and is an independent predictor of health outcomes in patients with solid and hematologic cancers, irrespective of age or comorbidity. Advances in software technology have facilitated the near real-time integration of body composition measurements into imaging studies obtained as part of standard clinical care. To date, there have been no studies to examine the association between sarcopenia and outcomes after CAR-T therapy. Methods: Using a retrospective cohort design, 280 consecutive patients with DLBCL or B-cell lymphoma, age ≥18y, and treated with CAR-T therapy between 2015 to 2020 at a single center were included in the study. This analysis was restricted to 226 (80.7%) patients with available computed tomography scans ≤60d from CAR-T. Skeletal muscle area was ascertained from abdominal scans using an automatic image analysis software (APACS; Voronoi Health Analytics; Vancouver, Canada); 3rd lumbar vertebra was used as a landmark because of its high correlation with whole-body muscle mass (J Clin Oncol 2016 34:1339); Figure. Trained researchers blinded to patient demographics and outcomes manually validated these measurements (SliceOmatic; Tomovision; Quebec, Canada). Skeletal muscle index (SMI) was calculated as the ratio of skeletal muscle area (cm 2) divided by height (m). Sarcopenia was defined according to sex-based cutoffs (lowest SMI tertile). Kaplan-Meier method was used to examine PFS at one-year. Multivariable regression was used to calculate the hazard ratio (HR) for PFS and odds ratio (OR) for toxicities with 95% confidence intervals (CI), adjusted for covariates (demographics [age, race/ethnicity], disease characteristics [largest lymph node diameter, blood lactate dehydrogenase], CAR-T product, ECOG performance status). Number of ice wine companies is increasing every year due to unique chemical composition and consumer demand. Unfortunately, processes associated with outputs of exclusive wines are examined only by Canadian winemakers in scientific literature. Despite of the strict requirements in non-classic technology that largely influence on obtaining of frozen grapes in winter season, other companies and wineries have included ice wine to their product offering. This study surveyed comprehensive information related to first ice wine producers and present definition of rare wine production that are the objectives of current research. Thus, data about primary frozen vintages, wine regions in each producing country and famous winemakers had influenced the expanding of dessert special styles were described; differences in the titles wines were shown. After the experience of the Germans in winter technology, other countries also began to introduce the wine of the premium segment. The current state of production and the wineries, which produce special wine, were reviewed and enterprises developed winter technologies were highlighted in the North America, Europe and Asia. Placement of the wineries, their number and ranges of ice wine were represented and argued according to agro-climatic conditions of each producing lands. T he entire world situation referring the existing of ice wine producers in the main regions of European and other territories supplemented special beverages to their profiles suggesting by our study afford an opportunity to fully understand the significant centres of production and changes in wine market supply. Furthermore, current research can conduce to the further publications of ice wine data compositions from different producing areas to evaluating of sensory and physical-chemical parameters and, perhaps, to find the solutions of challenges in ice wine production considering the experiences of each countries.

Introduction: Hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT)-related factors, such as total body irradiation (TBI) used for conditioning, graft-versus-host disease (GvHD), and prolonged exposure to calcineurin-inhibitors, can result in high risk for subsequent skin cancers in long-term survivors. Previous studies examining skin cancers after HCT have largely focused on patients transplanted in earlier eras ( Methods: 2338 consecutive patients who underwent a first HCT between 2005 and 2014 at City of Hope (COH) and survived ≥1 year, were included in the study. Patients with a history of skin cancer prior to HCT were excluded from the cohort. All skin cancers were validated using pathology reports, and physician notes (20%) whenever the former was not available. Skin cancers included SCC, BCC, melanoma, atypical fibroxanthoma, and merkel cell carcinoma. Patients were followed from HCT to death, second HCT, last known alive date, or December 31, 2018, whichever occurred first. Cumulative incidence of skin cancer was estimated taking into consideration competing risk of death. Fine-Gray sub-distributional hazard regression was used to calculate hazard ratio (HR) estimates, adjusted for relevant covariates. Results: Median age at HCT was 51.8y (range: 0.7-78.7); 57.6% were male; 56.5% were non-Hispanic white (NHW); 4.4% had a history of Pre-HCT cancer (antecedent to primary diagnosis); 47.7% underwent allogeneic HCT; 22.0% received myeloablative TBI (≥1200 cGy)-based conditioning. Among survivors of allogeneic HCT, 57.2% developed ≥moderate chronic GvHD (84% involving the skin); the most common immunosuppressive agents used for the management of ≥moderate chronic GvHD were tacrolimus (84.6%), followed by sirolimus (76.5%), and cyclosporine (28.4%). Burden of skin cancer over time: 179 survivors developed a total of 450 skin cancers after HCT; median time from HCT to first skin cancer was 2.8 years (range: 0.2-13.6). SCC was the most common subtype (59.1%), followed by BCC (31.3%), melanoma (5.1%), and other (4.4%); 43.4% of patients with SCC had invasive or high grade disease at presentation. The cumulative incidence of de novo skin cancer after HCT was 8.3% at 5 years, and 14.8% at 10 years (figure). Eighty-nine patients with skin cancer had a second skin cancer at a median of 0.5 years (range: 0.2 to 7.2) from the first; 55.1% were of a different histology. The cumulative incidence of a second skin cancer was 41.9% at 5-years (figure). Risk factors: Multivariate analysis revealed male sex (HR=1.7, p=0.0008), NHW race/ethnicity (HR=9.0, p Conclusions: This study confirms the higher risk of skin cancer by sex, race/ethnicity, and age at HCT, and highlights the greater than two-fold risk of skin cancer among allogeneic HCT survivors compared to autologous patients, a finding that is not entirely explained by GvHD and its treatment. Further, we identified a previously unreported association between pre-HCT (non-skin) cancer and post-HCT cancer risk, and describe the very high burden of multiple histologically distinct skin cancers over time. Taken together, these data set form the basis for implementation of updated risk-based screening and prevention practices in survivors at highest risk of skin cancer after HCT. The artificial methods of must concentration were discussed in current study: the microwave vacuum dehydration, reverse osmosis and cryoextraction. The main factor of using of alternative ways is deficiently low temperatures in winter period that are necessary for freezing grapes on vine according to the classical technology. The benefits and disadvantages of using of non-classic processes to obtain sweet musts were shown. The physical, chemical and sensory characteristics of wine made from grapes previously frozen by alternative and natural ways were analyzed. Indicators influencing on price of icewines and dessert wines bottle including agricultural climatic, technological and marketing factors were determined. Detailed indicators highlight specificity of used technology and represent consumer preferences. Producers of winemaking regions of Argentina, New Zealand, Israel, Ukraine and Australia adhere to provisions that are inconsistent with the standards of Canada and the European countries regarding the icewine output. These instruments determine the processing of grapes and parameters reflect on parameters of the finished product.

Introduction: High intensity treatments such as autologous hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) can be curative for patients with relapsed/refractory lymphoma (Hodgkin [HL], non-Hodgkin [NHL]), but this needs to be balanced by the risk of non-relapse mortality (NRM) associated with HCT and potentially sub-optimal disease response with less intensive treatments. Measures of pre-treatment body composition such as quantity and quality of muscle are prognostic in patients with solid tumors, but their association with post-HCT outcomes is unknown. We examined the prognostic significance of muscle depletion prior to HCT, defined by having both low muscle quantity (lumbar skeletal muscle index [SMI]) and quality (muscle attenuation [MA]) on computed tomography (CT) imaging, in a population-based cohort of patients undergoing autologous HCT for lymphoma. Next, we examined the prognostic significance of muscle depletion after HCT in a subset of patients with normal muscle composition prior to HCT, allowing us to examine the impact of change in body composition over time. Methods: 440 consecutive patients with lymphoma, age ≥18y, who underwent a first HCT between 2009 and 2014 at a single institution were included in the study. Measures of muscle quantity (SMI) and quality (MA) were ascertained from pre- and post-HCT abdominal CT scans using image analysis software (SliceOmatic; Tomovision, Quebec, Canada). SMI was calculated as the ratio of skeletal muscle area (cm2) divided by height (m)2. Sex and body mass index (BMI)-specific cutoff values of low SMI and MA were used to identify patients with muscle depletion (J Clin Oncol 2013 31:1539). Measurements were made by trained researchers blinded to patient demographics and HCT outcome (Figure 1); 3rd lumbar vertebra was used as a landmark because of its high correlation with whole-body muscle mass (J Clin Oncol 2016 34:1339). This report is limited to 321 (73%) patients with CT scans performed ≤90 days from HCT. Cumulative incidence of NRM was calculated taking into consideration competing risk of disease-related mortality. Kaplan-Meier method was used to examine overall survival (OS). Multivariable Cox regression analysis was used to calculate the hazard ratio (HR) estimates and 95% confidence intervals (CI), adjusted for relevant covariates (demographics, diagnosis, pre-HCT Karnofsky performance score [KPS] and comorbidity index [HCT-CI]). Results: Sixty-two (19.3%) patients had muscle depletion pre-HCT. Median age at HCT was 53y (range: 18-78); 62.0% were male; 54.0% were non-Hispanic white; Diagnoses: HL (N=84 [26.2%]), NHL (N=237 [73.8%]); KPS ≤80 (N=87 [27.1%]); HCT-CI ≥3 (N=52 [16.2%]). Taken together, these data form the basis for real-time decision making prior to HCT (e.g. pre-habilitation, less intensive treatment approaches), or during HCT (e.g. dietary optimization, increased supportive care services, resistance training), setting the stage for innovative strategies to improve outcomes after HCT. Background: alloHCT is offered with curative intent to patients with malignant as well as some nonmalignant hematologic diseases, and conventionally-computed survival estimates are offered for prognosticating outcomes. However, conventionally-computed survival and mortality risk estimates do not account for patients' elapsed survival time which, among other factors, could affect subsequent mortality. Conditional survival overcomes these limitations by calculating the probability of survival after having already survived a certain period of time - such data are unavailable for alloHCT recipients. We describe conditional survival and cause-specific mortality (disease-related [DRM], non-disease-related [NDRM], and GvHD-related) after alloHCT to provide clinically relevant information for patients who have survived 6 mos, 1, 2, 5, and 10y after alloHCT. Methods: From 1976 to 2013, 4,315 consecutive patients underwent alloHCT for hematologic diseases at a single institution. Vital status and cause of death were determined using the National Death Index Plus and medical records. Results: Diagnoses included acute leukemia (54%), chronic leukemia (17%), lymphoma (11%), myelodysplastic syndrome (10%), severe aplastic anemia (5%), and other hematologic diseases (3%); median age at HCT was 38.5y (0.3-75.4). As of December 31, 2014, 1841 patients were still alive in whom the median follow-up was 8.5y (0.2-36.6). Of 2,474 deaths (57% of cohort) for whom causes of deaths are available, 42% was due to primary disease, 30% to graft versus host disease (GvHD), 12% to infection, 5% to cardiopulmonary diseases, 3% to subsequent malignant neoplasm (SMN), and 8% to other causes. Conventionally-computed probabilities of survival at 5, 10, 15, and 20y after alloHCT were 48%, 43%, 40%, and 34%, respectively. On the other hand, for patients who had survived 6 mo, 1, 2, 5, 10y after alloHCT, 5-y conditional survival rates were 62%, 72%, 80%, 88% and 93%, respectively (Figure A). Overall, the cohort was at a 24-fold (Standardized Mortality Ratio [SMR]=24.1, 95%CI=23.1-25.0) risk of any death, compared to the general population; the risk of death from pulmonary complications was 31-fold, that from SMN was 31-fold, and that from cardiovascular complications was 3.5-fold. Представлено аналіз основних систем контролю якості у виробництві столових виноградних вин, переваги та недоліки в реальних умовах виробництва, інформативність показників в аспекті прийняття технологічних рішень. Обговорено результати комплексної оцінки вин, вироблених з використанням різних систем внутрішнього контролю та управління якістю. Встановлено, що введення додаткових показників контролю не впливає на рівень органолептичної оцінки вина і значення основних показників якості, визначених існуючою нормативною докумен, Quality wine – is the extent to wine organoleptic perception of the physical and chemical parameters that characterize a particular type of wine. Analysis of existing monitoring systems in the world production of wines of the highest category of quality showed that the responsibility for the implementation process fully falls upon the manufacturer, which is the main quality of the finished product, and consequently the reputation of the manufacturer. This approach is new for our country. The manufacturer declares that the high quality of its products should be able to develop a system of internal controls in accordance with terroir characteristics that affect the quality of the finished product, or use an existing control system under the current legislation. The appearance in the legislative field of Ukraine of a new category of wines - controlled items originally set scientists on the appropriateness division control. The system provides for the introduction of new control parameters for the industry, and therefore it was necessary to conduct a comprehensive analysis on key criteria in terms of rationale and effectiveness of such differentiation. Each of the indicators should give more information technologist for a decision at some stage of the process. As a result of the analysis of physical-chemical parameters and tasting was found that the impact of the two presented internal control systems of technological process in the production of wines of controlled origin names of the quality of the finished product can be assessed as negligible. Thus, the effectiveness of the proposed control system can be considered sufficient to provide the claimed level of product quality. Proposed to amend the existing technological instructions changes to exclude some indicators do not provide prompt and informative production control system controlled wine category names by origin
