Search

Scientific productions result from researchers’ thoughts and efforts; when published in credible journals or indexed by valid databases and cited by other researchers, they gain credibility. Publications also gain more credibility when they are indexed in actual and valid citation databases. The publication of scientific products in these databases increases visibility and the possibility and opportunity to increase their citations. The present research aims to investigate the factors effective in citing the articles published in Iranian journals with Impact Factor (IF) indexed in Journal Citation Reports (JCR) 2020. This applied study was done using scientometric indices. The research population consisted of Iranian publications with IF indexed in the JCR in 2020. Microsoft Excel was employed for data collection, and SPSS software was used for data analysis. The results showed that Iran, with 27,446 citations, acquired about 17% of citing Iranian publications with IF indexed in the Web of Science Core Collection (WOSCC). Also, 53.31% of articles had an organizational affiliation (publishers and publishing country) to public universities. The variables “subject area, multiple authorship, number of references, and inter-university cooperation” positively and significantly correlated with the number of citations the Iranian publications with IF indexed in the WOSCC had received (citation rate). Also, the number of keywords, length of article titles, and inter-university scientific collaboration had no significant collaboration with the citation rate.

In recent times, authors of academic publications have depended on web resources. However, there have been some concerns raised on the permanency of e-resources on the web. In this context, this article investigated the availability, missing and recovery of Uniform Resource Locator (URL) citations cited in articles in the African Journal of Library, Archive and Information Science (AJLAIS) published between 2008 and 2017 using Internet Archive. A total of 986 URL citations in 129 research articles published in LIS journals were extracted. The finding showed that URL citations of the journal grew during the years 2008-2017 Finding further revealed that 986 represented 28.88% of the total 3414 references that appeared in the journal in the period under review. Of the total cited web citations 986 web citations 310(31.4%) were not accessible and 676 (68.6%) were accessible. This article adopted a W3C link checker to detect HTTP errors linked with missing URLs. HTTP 500 error messages (‘page not found’) were majorly the irresistible messages that denoted 20 per cent of all HTTP error messages. The highest percentage of missing URLs were associated with commercial domains. The attempt to recover 310 missing URL citations through Internet Archive increased the active web citations from 676 to 918 which accounted for 93.1% of active URL citations. This study further showed a negative correlation between path depth and missing URL citations. The statistical analysis of this research indicated that the number of citations and URL citations are positively correlated.

Literary warrants on 'Digital Citizenship' published since its inception are still countable. The search executed to identify the bibliometric literature on ‘Digital Citizenship’ retrieved a meager outcome. Therefore, the study was pivoted with the data retrieved from the SCOPUS database. By utilizing normalized data and citation analysis to evaluate the influence across the various groupings, it is possible to see an almost linear rise in 2021 on the topic. Statistical and visual modeling software tools (R-Biblioshiny, Bibliometrix) were used in the study. It examines what this means for how bibliometric methodologies are used and disseminated in various situations. The study by the authors addressed bibliometric analysis and categorization of articles as per Ribble and Choi. Moreover, the paper discussed three field Plots (Sources-Keywords-Authors) and the most relevant authors. Furthermore, the study tried to testify to the fitness of Bradford's Law, trending topics on the subject, co-occurrence network by keywords, topic growth over the year, and a thematic map of topics from 1999 to 2022. The results were quite impressive. out of a total of 377 articles on digital citizenship, a scattering of subjects with numerous overlapped concepts like digital literacy, digital competence, higher education, technology, digital divide, cyber-bullying, information literacy, digital citizenship education, privacy, secondary education, adolescents, digital education, empowerment, primary education, university students have been identified.

This study aimed to identify the quality of web pages retrieved by Parsijoo and Parseek Persian search engines and Google to respond to students' course-related queries. This study was conducted using evaluations from a researcher-made checklist. The first population included Persian and Google search engines selected from Persian, Parsijoo, and Parseek search engines. The second population included the keywords of the section for collecting data from the fourth, fifth, and sixth-grade elementary school science textbooks, from which 12 keywords were selected by simple random sampling. The third population included web pages retrieved for each keyword by search engines. From the first ten results retrieved in each keyword search, relevant pages were selected as the sample. The results revealed that the quality of the web pages retrieved by all three search engines, i.e., Parsijoo, Parseek, and Google, was above average. However, there was a significant difference between the engines regarding the number of relevant results. This is the first study investigating the quality of web pages retrieved by search engines to respond to students' course-related queries. The study results can help the designers and developers of Persian search engines improve their performance in retrieving high-quality pages and gaining a proper place among Iranian users.

Academic information systems (AIS) at universities provide convenience to students in online campus administrative activities. Universitas Muhammadiyah Gombong (UNIMUGO) has an academic information system. The realization of quality academic and administrative services is one of the university's efforts in building and developing AIS. This study uses e-ServQual and WebQual 4.0 methods to determine the quality of AIS services. This study aims to determine the impact of AIS quality on user satisfaction by comparing E-Servqual and Webqual 4.0. The respondents' data were analyzed by linear regression. The study's findings indicate which method is best for assessing the service quality of the AIS system, as well as additional recommendations for Universitas Muhammadiyah Gombong to assess the success of the existing AIS system. Questionnaires were distributed to 100 students by Google Forms. Data analysis utilizes multiple linear regressions to determine the level of influence between the independent variables (e-Servqual and WebQual 4.0) and the dependent variable (user satisfaction). The research results from hypotheses H1 and H2 equally state that the quality of the AIS system has a positive and significant effect on user satisfaction. Analyzing the e-ServQual results showed that the AIS system was of medium quality, while the WebQual 4.0 method was of excellent quality. The results of data analysis on the e-ServQual method showed that the independent variable could affect user satisfaction by 66.1% and 33.9% influenced by other variables. The WebQual 4.0 method showed that the independent variable could affect user satisfaction by 85.1% and 14.9% influenced by other variables.

patents are a significant competitive strategy to categorize commercial value based on the source information of technology; researchers use patent analysis as a practical tool to infer various types of information. This shows how important it is to retrieve and access them. Clustering is a method used in different fields to group similar natures. Citations are commonly used to cluster documents, and two methods are widely used for this purpose. The first method uses bibliographic coupling, and the second method identifies the words in the citation titles, also called co-citation. However, it is necessary to investigate which methods provide better patent clustering and retrieval results. This study examines citation contents instead of citations in building relevant groups of patents. Experimental research was done on a set of US patents. The analysis is divided into three phases. The first is appropriate databases to conduct patent searches according to the subject and objective of this study. The basic inventions and the experimental set were selected. Phase II, for developing a patent clustering system based on patent similarities and assisting the relationships among categories, we used fuzzy c-means (FCM) clustering because it can handle overlapping clusters similar to k-means. As fuzzy clustering is a kind of overlapping clustering, extended B Cubed precision and recall - measures for evaluating overlapping clustering - were used. Since patents can belong to multiple technology domains, in phase III, a Perl program was written to manage the matching process. The study involved creating two patent clusters using bibliographic coupling and citation title words, respectively. The results indicated that the bibliographic coupling method produced better clustering performance than the citation title words. Moreover, the cluster structure was more extensive in terms of exhaustivity than the citation title words. It's interesting to note that the use of cited patent title words resulted in a reduction of nearly 40% of the number of attributes. Additionally, when compared to the use of bibliographic coupling, the cited title words method had a nearly equal recall of clustering by cited patents in high exhaustivity. As a result, it appears that using cited title words may be preferable when the high exhaustivity approach is selected for patent clustering and retrieval.

In this study, we aimed to comprehensively analyze the altmetric indices of 1000 highly cited articles in the field of cancer, considering the growing importance of social media-based indicators as complementary tools alongside traditional bibliometric indicators for evaluating scientific outputs. Cancer research is a critical area in the medical community, being the second leading cause of death after cardiovascular diseases (CVDs). Conducted as a cross-sectional descriptive study, the bibliographic information of the research sample was obtained from the Scopus citation database. Data about the social media presence and altmetric attention scores (AAS) of each article were collected from the journal and altmetric.com. Subsequently, Excel and SPSS software were employed for analysis. Among the reviewed articles, 96.3% were shared on social media at least once, with Mendeley (99.6%), Patents (86.3%), and CiteULike (66.3%) being the most commonly used altmetric sources. The article titled "Dermatologist-level classification of skin cancer with deep neural networks," published in the Nature journal, obtained the highest AAS of 2864. Additionally, the majority of tweeters and readers were from the USA. Tweeters were predominantly members of the public, while readers were primarily professionals in medicine and dentistry, including PhD students. Spearman tests indicated a statistically significant moderate correlation between AASs and citations (r= 0.283, p-value< 0.001). Similarly, a significant weak correlation was observed between the journals' Impact Factor (IF) (r= 0.217) and CiteScore (r= 0.133) with the number of citations (p-value < 0.001). The findings of this study emphasize the positive impact of social media-based indicators on the number of citations received by scientific articles, making them valuable complementary measures alongside traditional citation indicators for evaluating research impact. We recommend that journals, authors, and researchers actively use social media platforms to enhance the visibility of their work and attract more citations.

A high volume of information can be provided to users regarding library services by branding Iranian medical libraries and information centers, and the position of libraries can be significantly improved. There is a minimal number of studies in this field in Iran. This study mainly aims to identify key branding components and create differentiation in the context of Iranian medical libraries and information centers (IMLICs). This study was conducted in two steps: (i) the literature on branding in libraries and information centers in reliable databases such as Scopus, Science Direct, Emerald, and Google Scholar was first reviewed, and finally, 33 studies were identified. Four components, such as librarians, services, building, and equipment, as well as technology, were found as important factors in the branding of public and academic libraries. (ii) A semi-structured interview was conducted with 14 managers and heads of libraries of Iranian medical sciences universities. The results showed the most important branding components in ILMIC as librarians, services, buildings and equipment, and technology. According to the results librarians' performance and personality characteristics, dynamization of specialized and general services, paying attention to the architecture of the library building and the installation and use of the equipment, and finally, the intelligent use of technologies and a strategic look at these components will lead to the formation of a positive mental image of Iranian medical libraries in the public mind, increase awareness of their services, and as a result, users' trust, loyalty, and satisfaction. Librarians play an important role in raising the users' awareness, trust, and loyalty toward library services and their branding. Hiring librarians with positive internal and external characteristics can have a positive image of libraries in the users' minds. Providing high-quality services required by users is essential in differentiating and branding libraries and building users' trust and loyalty. Providing virtual services in libraries is essential in promoting branding goals. A unique look at the libraries' architecture helps to create a positive image of libraries and information centers. Well-designing the interior and exterior of library facilities will create a positive mental image among users. Applying the technological equipment alongside the expert staff creates a brand and raises the users' awareness, trust, and loyalty. Empowering librarians in using emerging technologies is an obligation in this era. IMLICs have branding capabilities in the four main components of the library regarding librarians, services, building and equipment, and technology. Development of human resources, services, building and equipment, and technology should be planned so that its output is users' awareness about the library brand and the creation of a positive mental image towards the library function. It keeps the users' trust and loyalty towards the library and finally makes users the ambassadors and missionaries to promote the library via word-of-mouth marketing following their satisfaction.

The present study was conducted to draw the co-authorship network of hot papers of science citation index in the Web of Science (WOS) database from 2020 to 2021. This investigation is a descriptive study using a scientometrics approach. This research was conducted using social network analysis indices to visualize the co-authorship networks of hot papers in the science citation index. The structure of the co-authorship network of researchers of hot papers in the field of science consists of 47,045 authors who have contributed to the publication of 3475 hot papers from 2020 to 2021, which indicates the high co-authorship of these authors. Moreover, it was found that among the co-authorship patterns of these researchers, the most significant number of articles during the studied years was related to the five-author collaborations. Moreover, the average Collaboration Coefficient (CC) of the authors of hot papers was higher than 0.80, indicating the authors' strong tendency to produce joint articles. The high collaboration of the authors of hot papers in the science citation index can be one of the reasons for increasing the level of visibility and the potential for using them.

Measuring the maturity of KM allows the organization to know how to manage its knowledge and provides an infrastructure on which the organization's KM roadmap is created. With libraries and information centers with educational and research environments, the Iran Public Libraries Foundation is one of the most susceptible organizations to establish KM. Requires measuring the maturity of KM to provide necessary grounds for reaching a higher level of maturity in knowledge management development. This study aimed to measure the maturity of KM in the Iran Public Libraries Foundation based on the Asian Productivity Organization framework. The study is an applied survey research. The data was collected using the Asian Productivity Organization (APO) standard questionnaire. The reliability of the questionnaire was 0.9, according to Cronbach's alpha coefficient. The research population consisted of 115 people who were selected by cluster sampling. Excel and SPSS were used to analyze the data. Pearson correlation test, One-sample T-test, and Kolmogorov–Smirnov test were used to measure the mean of the seven knowledge management (KM) maturity criteria, and the Friedman nonparametric test was used to rank the criteria groups. The maturity level of KM in Iran, Public Libraries Foundation, was seven groups below the KM Framework of APO. The readiness of the library for KM was determined the initial stage. The results of ranking the seven groups of KM maturity criteria showed that information technology and leadership stood in the highest and the lowest ranks, respectively. Topdown ranking of other criteria was as follows: knowledge processes, process, learning and innovation, KM results, and staff. Finally, the research proposals were presented based on the results of the studied organization's current situation.

Communicating science to the public is one of the important issues in societies. Given the importance of news websites in communicating science, this article aimed to examine different aspects of science-related news stories like subjects, internationality, formats, and readers’ comments rate, published on the Iranian national news websites. Contents of 1711 science-related news of the top three ranked influential Iranian news websites, including ISNA, Mehr News, and Fars News, in one month in 2019, using the Dewey decimal classification (DDC) schema and inductive coding system, were analyzed. The results revealed that science and technology-related news stories published in the sample news websites have a bias toward international technology as the main subject class, and astronomy and medicine subclasses in the textual format. Like other developing countries, science reporting in Iran needs to be more professional, and there is a need for professional training programs for science journalists for better coverage of science-related news stories.

The present study sought to identify the supportive roles of social media in healthcare knowledge management processes, including decision-making, popularizing health knowledge, and empowerment of healthcare processes based on physicians' perspectives and experiences. In a present qualitative study, a semi-structured interview was administered to 28 physicians using purposive snowball sampling. The data analysis was done using the thematic analysis method by MAXQDA 10. The analysis of interviews resulted in the extraction of three themes and eight sub-themes. Firstly, social media supports physicians' decision-making by facilitating peer-to-peer assistance, increasing benchmarking, and virtualizing the community of practices. Secondly, physician activities in social media can popularize health knowledge by developing public health education and disclosing knowledge claims. Third, social media empower healthcare processes by improving post-treatment follow-up, supporting health counseling presentations, and promoting health awareness. Physicians’ experiences and perspectives showed that social media can support healthcare knowledge management implementation.

This descriptive survey research design aimed to explore gender differences in the impact of social media distractions during reading in the library among undergraduate students. The study included a total of 373 participants who were regular library users and had access to social media platforms. A structured questionnaire was used to collect data, and the findings indicated that social media, particularly messaging on WhatsApp, was the most distracting activity for students in the library. Males reported more distraction than females for platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and Telegram. Reading and responding to social media messages was the most common social media activity among students in the library. The majority of participants perceived social media to harm their reading habits, with a higher number of females perceiving social media as harming their reading habits compared to males. The study recommends that libraries and educational institutions develop clear policies and guidelines on the use of social media in libraries, provide resources aimed at helping students manage social media distraction and improve their reading habits, and offer training to staff members on how to identify and address social media distractions among students.

The online public access catalog (OPAC) is a digital portal to the library's collection that allows users to search, locate, and access a wide range of academic resources. One of its key functions is to make books and other library materials easily accessible and retrievable. The main purpose of this study was to assess students’ awareness and use of the OPAC in the Central Luzon State University Library. The data were gathered using a survey questionnaire. The frequency, percentage, and weighted mean were analyzed, and the data was interpreted. The findings show that students widely use OPAC, though not all of them are aware of all of the functions that OPAC provides. Findings also indicate that a lack of proper orientation and a lack of OPAC terminals are the main reasons for not using the OPAC. The vast majority of students were satisfied with the OPAC. However, a small percentage of students remain dissatisfied with it. This insight is essential for libraries to better alter and tailor their systems, services, and instructional programs to suit their student population's evolving needs and technological expectations.

Besides scientific impact, papers can also achieve a technological impact that remains less known in the scientific community. Cited papers in the patents are considered as the index to measure the technological impact. This study aimed to analyze the technological impact of Iranian publications using co-authorship and co-word map, their evolution, the journals, and the subject areas of these publications. This applied research focuses on the quantitative study and visualization with a scientometric approach. The research population was all studies (4554 records) that were published during 2011-2020 in one of the Iranian institutions and had been cited by one of the international patents. The data collection tool was the SciVal database. CiteSpace and Excel spreadsheets were used to analyze the data. Of the 4,554 papers cited by the scholarly outputs that have been cited in patents e patents, most of them were published in collaboration with the USA (9%). Islamic Azad University and Tehran University of Medical Sciences (13% each) were the most active Iranian universities. The number of Iranian papers cited in patents had a downward trend from 686 in 2011 to 57 in 2020. RSC Advances journal was the first top journal to publish these papers. Of 27 subject areas, engineering (24.1%) was the first popular subject that patents cite in their publications. The cluster analysis of keywords identified 8 clusters, including “x-ray diffraction,” “animal,” “adult,” “escherichia coli,” “tissue engineering,” “coronavirus infection,” “neural network,” and “methane.” The technological impact of Iranian research has declined in recent years. It is suggested that research policymakers should consider scholarly outputs that have been cited in patents, which, in a way, shows the flow of knowledge to the industry and encourages researchers to produce such papers.

Mediante el análisis detallado de uno de los periódicos obreros más notables del Porfiriato, El Diablito Rojo, veremos cómo fueron criticados los planes porfiristas para el Centenario, que tenían el mismo afán monumentalista de la época. A través de los editoriales y, sobre todo, de las portadas –en varias ocasiones eran litografías del renombrado artista José Guadalupe Posada–, esta publicación promovió otra visión de México. El periódico se imprimió durante un par de años (1900-1901) y tuvo una pausa antes de volver a publicarse tres años más (1908-1910). Aunque su objetivo fue dar voz a la clase obrera, al examinar con mayor detalle los números dedicados a la crítica del Centenario, se nota una marcada desatención al ámbito social del proletariado. Por eso, aquí se argumentará que el ejemplo de El Diablito Rojo también debe analizarse a la luz del pensamiento de Antonio Gramsci, teórico italiano que planteó que las normas culturales vigentes de una sociedad son impuestas desde arriba, es decir, por la clase hegemónica.

El Correo de Ultramar (1842-1886), periódico ilustrado publicado en París y distribuido entre el público hispano de América, tuvo un rol central en el ingreso y la difusión de la literatura por entregas (las afamadas novelas francesas aparecidas en los folletines de los diarios parisinos, como Los misterios de París o El conde de Montecristo) en las principales ciudades de Latinoamérica. En este trabajo se analiza el efecto editorial que produjo El Correo de Xavier de Lasalle en el incipiente mercado del impreso rioplatense.

En México, a principios del siglo XIX, se llevó a cabo una importante actividad de traducción de textos pertenecientes al canon de la literatura mundial occidental. En numerosas ocasiones dicha actividad se realizó sin el conocimiento de la lengua original, a través de traducciones españolas o francesas. No obstante, la readaptación al castellano de estos mismos textos, por parte de los mexicanos, supuso la percepción de que algunas de las traducciones importadas desde Europa no atendían adecuadamente las dimensiones estética, semántica o cultural de las obras originales, ni al contexto local. De tal suerte, la re-traducción abría la puerta a la concepción de estos ejercicios como una práctica de empoderamiento político y social. Este artículo explora dos traducciones anónimas de versos de Lord Byron, el poeta romántico inglés mejor conocido en la época, para discutir la relación entre traducción, literatura nacional y prensa periódica en la primera parte del siglo XIX mexicano.

Con base en una selección de 80 almanaques y guías publicados en Río de la Plata entre 1819 y 1900, este artículo busca ensayar un estudio histórico de carácter introductorio y general (es decir, relativamente indiferente respecto de las particularidades locales) sobre este singular género de impresos periódicos en el mundo hispanoamericano durante el siglo XIX. Las transformaciones de sus características materiales y contenidos, sus vínculos y divergencias con las guías y otras publicaciones afines, su secularización, la incorporación de la publicidad, la literatura y las ilustraciones durante los años 60 de ese siglo, su último esplendor como libros lujosos, con el desarrollo de una gran industria gráfica a fines de la centuria, son algunas de las principales cuestiones tratadas.

Este artículo tiene el objetivo de mostrar la Biblioteca de Autores Mexicanos (1896-1910), colección creada por Victoriano Agüeros, como un acabado proyecto editorial en el que pueden rastrearse diversos procesos culturales y literarios de gran importancia: a) La especialización y consolidación de la figura del editor, verificada en el tránsito del siglo XIX al XX; b) El desarrollo de incipientes pero efectivas estrategias de publicación, comercialización y promoción, y c) La formación de un canon literario que agrupó las manifestaciones escritas de la nación en busca de identidad y en cuyo diseño y selección se consideraron no sólo criterios estéticos y literarios, sino también ideológicos, económicos e incluso pragmáticos.

Los vínculos entre literatura y prensa han sido analizados profusamente por la historiografía de las letras mexicanas decimonónicas. La colaboración de los escritores en la construcción de la nación otorgó a la prensa una importancia fundamental, en tanto principal mecanismo de divulgación de sus proyectos creadores de carácter nacionalista. Integrantes de otros campos, como el médico, emplearon narrativas ficcionalizantes de índole similar no sólo para transmitir nociones generales de sus saberes, sino también para contribuir a la formación de ciudadanos, encorsetando sus cuerpos mediante discursos disciplinantes. En este cruce entre medicina y literatura, el presente artículo se propone analizar la novela El hijo del Estado (1882) del escritor y médico Hilarión Frías y Soto como artefacto literario que –inscrito en las columnas del periódico El Diario del Hogar– contribuyó a la divulgación tanto de nociones clínicas como moralizantes, enfocadas sobre todo en los cuerpos femeninos.

En este acercamiento a Revista de España (1868-1895) primero se repasa su origen y relevancia histórica, para comentar aspectos sobre su materialidad y morfología, y recalar finalmente en sus secciones literarias. A lo largo de una andadura de casi 30 años, esta publicación fundada por José Luis Albareda llegó a reunir en su eclecticismo a grandes figuras de la cultura y la política de la segunda mitad del siglo XIX. Bajo su enseña de imparcialidad y enciclopedismo, congregó a escritores como Juan Valera, Benito Pérez Galdós o Emilia Pardo Bazán. Todos ellos, a través de sus poéticas, novelas y textos de crítica literaria, mostraron en la revista la codificación y algunas polémicas sobre el paradigma realista en España, cuyo final coincidió con la desaparición de la publicación en los últimos años de la centuria.

Este artículo tiene una doble finalidad, por un lado, analizar los rasgos editoriales de los primeros números de la Revista Hispano-Americana (1895-1896) de Laura Méndez de Cuenca, a partir de su configuración material y política; y, por el otro, reflexionar sobre la cultura visual de finales del siglo XIX en una empresa editorial de carácter publicitario en materia política y mercantil, en la que las reflexiones estéticas, artísticas y literarias están abocadas a la construcción de la imagen comercial de una región: México y Centroamérica. Las tecnologías de la mirada utilizadas en esta revista sirven a la vez como autopromoción y como plataformas de domesticación moderna de los comportamientos políticos, de los cuerpos y de la naturaleza, bajo la declarada intención de crear una óptica de valor liberal sobre la “realidad” hispanoamericana, con el fin de atraer inversionistas que desarrollaran y civilizaran por medio de la explotación de los recursos humanos y naturales.

A la par de los avances tecnológicos y la sobreproducción de información, las políticas de información (PI) se convirtieron en un instrumento fundamental que permite dar orden y seguimiento a la información que circula dentro y fuera de las instituciones. Las PI se construyen a partir de los acuerdos jurídicos y administrativos entre sus miembros. In this research, all the scientific publications of the Iran University of Medical Sciences (IUMS) from 1980 to 2020 are studied using bibliometric analysis and scientific network visualization. This research applied quantitative research using bibliometrics and visualization of scientific publications. The research population included all the scientific publications of IUSM on the Web of Science Core Collection (WOSCC) from 1980 to 2020. Data from the WOSCC were extracted via the advanced search by searching the Iran University of Medical Sciences in the affiliation field. Microsoft Excel and VOSviewer were used for data analysis. First, the frequency distribution of the scientific publications was identified. Then, the level of international collaborations was analyzed. Finally, the citation clusters of researchers' scientific publications and keyword co-occurrence were examined. IUMS had 9950 documents indexed in the WOSCC. Malekzadeh jointly ranked first as the most prolific author. The Iranian Red Crescent Medical Journal, with 207 articles, has the highest number of articles. All highly-cited papers were published in high-level Q1 journals. The highest collaboration rate at a national level was with the Tehran University of Medical Sciences. Internationally, IUMS's researchers had the highest collaboration with authors from the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia, respectively. Term clustering demonstrated five main clusters: pharmacological studies, epidemiological studies, general & and internal medicine, meta-analysis and systematic review, and Immunological studies. The methods and techniques of bibliometrics and visualization are optimal for depicting and analyzing the scientific status of researchers, publications, journals, universities, countries, and even the world. The current study can be a model for analyzing bibliometric indices of other universities and research institutes in Iran and elsewhere.

Cloud computing is one of the most important topics in knowledge-based companies. Small and medium-sized enterprises with a low budget and few human resources are one of the major groups tending to use cloud computing to benefit from this technology. Several components affect the adoption of cloud in these companies, which should be evaluated before making the decision. This study aimed to identify these components and determine how much each component impacts the adoption of cloud in small and medium-sized companies. Accordingly, based on the diffusion of innovation theory and technology-organization-environment (TOE) framework as well as the previous studies, a conceptual model with twelve components was presented. Data were collected via a questionnaire using the descriptive survey method from 59 knowledge-based companies of Kerman Science and Technology Park. In this study, the “need” factor was selected as the desired state and “use” as the current state; then, the mean of the other components was compared with the mean of these two factors. The results of this study showed that based on the gap between the desired state and the current state, the employees’ knowledge of cloud computing, compatibility, complexity, and security and privacy require more attention. Innovation factors, decision makers’ knowledge of cloud computing, benefits, and costs have a better position than other components. Finally, factors effective in the compliance of knowledge-based companies of Kerman Science and Technology Park with cloud computing were ranked using the Vikor method. The need factor (information need), decision makers’ innovation, and benefits were ranked first to third, respectively, and the complexity factor was ranked last among the indicators. Therefore, identifying the current state (not using cloud computing based on the needs or not matching with cloud) and the desired state (using cloud computing based on the needs or matching with the cloud) in knowledge-based companies, based on the criteria or factors whose usefulness was investigated in this study, can be an important step in joining these companies into the cloud, and thus bringing the benefits of this new technology to knowledge-based companies.

This research has been conducted to identify and rank factors affecting customer loyalty in public libraries in Iran. This research is applied in terms of purpose and mixed (qualitative-quantitative) for the data type. In the first step, 45 articles on library customers’ loyalty were selected and analyzed purposefully using the meta-synthesis method. Then, based on the experts’ opinions and the analysis of the research findings, two factors, ten concepts, and 50 codes were identified, and their validity was confirmed using the Kappa-Kaufman test. In the second step, the weight and the ranking of the identified factors were determined by presenting a questionnaire to the experts and using Shannon’s entropy method. The statistical population of the research in the quantitative part consisted of 52 specialists in the field of public libraries, who were selected by the purposeful sampling method. Intra-library factors (human resources, service quality, physical space and environment, complaint handling, technical resources and facilities, electronic access, and communication) and external factors (mental image or impression, perceived usefulness, and satisfaction) were identified as factors affecting the loyalty of public library customers. In addition, the results obtained through Shannon’s entropy show that human resources, with a weight of 0.13, and mental impression, with a weight of 0.11, are ranked first and second. Moreover, perceived usefulness, technical resources and facilities, physical environment, and satisfaction were ranked third to sixth with a slight difference, with an approximate weight of 0.10. Electronic access, with a weight of 0.9, service quality, with a weight of 0.9. Complaint handling, with a weight of 0.7, and communication, with a weight of 0.6, were ranked seventh to tenth, respectively. The cultivation of customer loyalty in public libraries needs to improve the parameters and factors affecting it, and by prioritizing the most influential factors, customer loyalty will be promoted. The main goal of customer loyalty at public libraries can be achieved by recognizing and reinforcing factors that are essential in the enhancement of customer loyalty, such as growing the specialized, technical, and personal skills of the library staff, improving the social image of the library, providing valuable services for customers, presenting diverse and up-to-date information resources for all groups of society, observing standards in the library design and architecture, providing different electronic resources and types of information, having access to authentic scientific databases, and resolving customer complaints.

This study aimed to identify indicators and factors affecting the evolution of services at the service desks of the National Library of Iran (NLI). The method of this research is the mixed method. The survey method, brainstorming, and group decision-making were used to collect data. The statistical population of this study was 21 librarians working in the service desks of the NLI and 28 members of the NLI. MAXQDA software was used for data analysis. Qualitative analysis of the data led to the extraction of 964 primary codes that reported service factors from the perspective of two groups of librarians and users. Multiple revisions and code integration based on similarity; several categories were obtained. Guba and Lincoln criteria (credibility, dependability, confirmability, and transferability) were used for data robustness and accuracy. Service desk design indicators were identified by reviewing the literature and primary sources of reference and information services and extracted (9 indicators). Factors affecting the information service of the NLI from the perspective of librarians and users fall into four themes: information librarian, user, service, and service desk. The results of this study showed the appropriate correspondence between the service desks of the NLI and the extracted indicators. Influential information service factors from the perspective of librarians and users were also discovered in this study from the words of users and librarians themselves. Within the theme of information librarian, three sub-themes of information literacy, connecting with the user, and professional ethics; In the user theme, the three themes of user training, independence, and membership; In the theme of service desks, five sub-themes of accessibility, desk location, desk physics, name of service desk and security; And in the theme of services, three sub-themes of marketing, tasks priority and professional view of departments and services are among the factors affecting information service.

Individuals and Organizations that rely on the Internet for communication, collaboration, and daily tasks regularly encounter security and privacy issues unless interventions of intelligent Cybersecurity defense systems have been made to counter them. The existing pieces of evidence reveal that phishing website attacks have drastically increased despite the scientific communities' best efforts to combat them. Based on the key research gaps explored, the study has made significant attempts to answer the following research questions: RQ#1: Which cross-validation techniques and model optimization parameters are appropriate for given datasets and classifiers? RQ#2: Which Classifier(s) yielded a superior Accuracy, F1-Score, AUC-ROC, and MCC value with acceptable train-test computational time before and after applying the Informative Feature Selection Techniques? RQ#3: What are the strengths and weaknesses of each Classifier after being applied with multiple Informative Feature Selection Techniques? RQ#4: Could the results of the top-performed Classifier and Informative Feature Selection Technique on Dataset one (DS-1) be consistent on Dataset two (DS-2)? The study used a Google Co-Lab environment and Python Code to conduct rigorous experiments. Our experimental findings reveal that the CAT-B Classifier demonstrated a superior phishing website detection performance in terms of (Accuracy, F1-Score, AUC-ROC, and MCC value with acceptable train-test computational time both before and after applying the UFS Feature Selection Technique by scoring 0.9764 accuracies, 0.9762 F1-Score, 0.996 AUC-ROC, and 0.9528 MCC Value with 6 Seconds train-test computational time. The study practically demonstrated implementing the CAT-B-UFS technique using a Python Code so that upcoming researchers can easily replicate their results and learn more. In future work, the study proposed implementing deep learning algorithms with proper feature selection techniques on Individual and Hybrid approaches to obtain more promising results.

This study aims to evaluate the quality of Iran's Ministry of Interior website by comparing it with the websites of countries recognized by the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF), employing the Website Quality Evaluation Tool (WQET). We examined one hundred websites using WQET, encompassing nine criteria: content, functionality, currency, coverage, graphics, links, authority, style, and meta-tag use. This was affirmed through the validity of the interface-content tool (Cronbach's Alpha score of 0.91). The study revealed that Iran's Ministry of Interior website ranks 17th among the countries surveyed, positioning it robustly. The US Interior Ministry's website ranked first, followed by those of Germany, Belgium, Taiwan, Qatar, and Finland, all demonstrating excellent quality. Website designers focus predominantly on coverage, content, style, and graphics of the nine criteria under examination, leading to generally good ratings. However, the functionality and links criteria were rated average, while authority, currency, and meta-tag use were judged weak. Iran's Ministry of Interior website must focus on enhancing the factors influencing the overall quality to improve its standing. It is recommended to employ WQET to evaluate the websites of provincial governorates, organizations under the Ministry of Interior, as well as other government and non-government organizations with similar websites globally, in a bid to elevate the quality and accessibility of their online platforms.

Determining the criteria and indicators based on which Iranian universities are evaluated is essential in university ranking systems. This study aims to identify criteria and indicators appropriate to Iranian universities and to develop a local framework for ranking Iranian universities and higher education institutions. This study was carried out using the fuzzy Delphi technique in six stages: the first stage was to identify the existing rankings, the second stage was to extract criteria and indicators, the third stage was to adjust the indicators based on frequency, and the fourth stage was to use the fuzzy Delphi technique to obtain expert panel opinions, the fifth step is to use the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) for weighting and ranking indicators, and the sixth step is to present a schematic view of the framework obtained. According to findings, 145 studied rankings, 17 criteria, and 2709 indicators were identified. After removing the overlaps and homogenizing the indicators, 17 criteria and 180 indicators were selected to enter the study checklist. Finally, based on the fuzzy Delphi technique and AHP results, the appropriate ranking framework for Iranian universities, which includes 11 criteria and 94 indicators, was developed. The presented framework is designed according to the needs of Iranian universities to produce science and knowledge, create innovation and entrepreneurship, and produce technological products.

This study explored its research trends by examining Iran's methods, contexts, and theories of information behavior research. This study is applied research regarding objectives and a content analysis regarding methodology. The research population consisted of 325 studies on information behavior. A researcher-made checklist was used to collect data, the validity of which was confirmed by experts. According to the researcher-made checklist, 325 data were analyzed based on the variables of each section. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics and SPSS software (version 22). The results indicated the dominance of the quantitative approach and, consequently, the application of statistical analysis tools and methods related to this approach in relevant studies. In addition, most investigations were practical in this field, and therefore, fewer theoretical-philosophical studies and, in other words, fundamental research have been addressed in this field. There is no diversity in studies methodologically, and most of the reviewed studies, while referring to influential research in this field in their backgrounds, do not pay attention to their methodologies. Most of the research works are copies of previous studies conducted using quantitative, applied, and survey methods, and the desired population has changed only in some cases. Moreover, the scope of disciplines and specialties involved in the research production and studies reflects the interdisciplinary nature of this field with emphasis on knowledge and information science. The approach of information behavior research is expanding in various contexts with the presence of different types of users. However, it seems that the information behavior of the general public is less considered, and new studies are required in this regard. Research and studies conducted on information behavior in Iran have mainly considered the international models in this field, and some studies have even attempted to modify them. Few researchers have also proposed new models in this field, some of which have been published in international papers.

This study aims to analyze members' sentiments in India's one of the most used Library and Information Science forums, the LisLinks discussion forum. We retrieved 10,420 discussion posts and their five replies to analyze the sentiment: Positive, Negative, and Neutral, using the RapidMiner tool through a lexicon-based approach. The study results show that 64% of the replies have neutral sentiment, 32% have positive sentiment, and only 4% have a negative sentiment. The more neutral sentiment indicates that the forum members are not actively participating in the discussion site. When we compare the sentiment of the five replies, the results show an increment in neutral sentiment from the first to the fifth. The undertone of the research finding pertains to the users' gradual decremental use of this discussion platform. This study may aid administrators of the forum in grasping the feelings and opinions of the members to enhance the quality of the discussion forum.

The reluctance of university members to enter their information in International Scientometric Systems (ISSs) is counterproductive behavior for human resource management for international university rankings. The explicit goal of this research was to identify the necessary conditions for ISSs acceptance management in an Iranian academic community. To identify factors affecting the acceptance of ISSs and explore members’ attitudes towards them after a focused literature review, user feedback in training classes of ISSs was recorded through the researcher's participation during two semesters. This information was placed as components of a self-made questionnaire after multiple codings based on grand theory. Then, a self-made questionnaire technique was used to investigate correlations between these factors. Snowball sampling collected data from 86 expert users of this system, and the hypotheses were tested. In entering information in ISSs, experience of using ISSs, facilitating conditions, expected effort, and expected performance were identified. Finally, the relationships of these variables were presented based on the path analysis model. The results showed that usefulness, expected effort, experience, and facilitating conditions effectively use the systems through the willingness to use ISSs. However, the members were unwilling to use ISSs because they were not well justified about the micro and macro goals of the university ranking systems. Completing information in these diverse systems is considered time-consuming and repetitive. The existing rules for each system are considered cumbersome. Access to these systems' cookies to their personal information is not considered safe and desirable. The results' significance, implications, and limitations have also been deliberated for further research.

This study aims to analyze the content of reading culture, reading development strategies, and the application of technology to expand reading habits published in LIS journals indexed in ScienceDirect and ISC. This study is an applied-descriptive study in terms of its objectives. This study is also a part of Scientometrics and employs content analysis. A total of 363 articles from the ScienceDirect database and 82 articles from the ISC database were selected using purposive sampling, in which "word" was taken as the registration unit and "article" as the unit of analysis. The data were collected using a researcher-made checklist whose validity was reviewed and confirmed by experts, and its reliability was measured using the kappa coefficient (κ) with an interrater agreement of 0.7. The findings of this study showed that out of 445 articles reviewed, about 120 articles addressed the reading culture, 273 articles focused on reading development strategies, and 52 articles assessed the application of technology to expand reading skills. The research method most frequently used in the reviewed articles was the descriptive method. Besides, students constituted the most extensive research population. Encouraging students to engage in reading, teaching, and promoting effective reading methods and access to free digital books and publications wherever possible had the highest rankings among the extracted categories related to the reading culture, reading development strategies, and the application of technology to promote reading habits. Besides, the reviewed articles addressed practical methods of promoting reading habits. Our data highlighted the importance of reading and belief in its value in societies. Thus, there is no way to achieve scientific, cultural, and economic growth and prosperity other than expanding the community's constant and goal-directed reading habits. To this end, establishing school libraries and developing reading habits in children and adolescents need to receive more attention. In recent years, due to fundamental changes in social institutions, improving the quality of education has also received special attention.

This study examined postgraduates’ knowledge and usage of Google educational tools. The study was conducted in Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) with 350 respondents. A purposive sampling technique that allows researchers to use their judgments in selecting participants for research was used to select the participants for this study. A questionnaire was used as the data collection instrument, and it was sent to only the participants who attended a series of information literacy training sessions organized by the authors. The data collected were analyzed using SPSS software. The study revealed that most students use Google as their search engine, and Google Scholar was the most popular Google educational tool. The students gained knowledge of these tools through their colleagues, on their own, through workshops, seminars, and conferences, and their lecturers. The respondents also mentioned some challenges, such as requests to pay to access articles and slow Internet. Some recommendations, such as more education by academic librarians to encourage students to use these free tools and efforts by the students themselves to learn how to use these tools, were made.

Academic Social Networks (ASNs) are significant in forming scientific interactions and increasing the visibility of researchers' scientific works. Considering the growing importance of ASNs, the current study aimed to investigate the presence of Lorestan University of Medical Sciences faculty members in ASNs and its relationship with citations in their articles. Scientometrics and survey methods were used in this study. The population comprised 291 faculty members at Lorestan University of Medical Sciences. A questionnaire and a data collection form were utilized to investigate the presence of faculty members on ResearchGate, Academia, and citation databases, including Web of Science and Scopus. Descriptive (mean, variance) and analytical statistics (chi-square, Pearson, and Independent Samples T-test at a significance level of 0.05) were used to analyze the data using SPSS software. Academics of the faculty of medicine were the most active members of ResearchGate. Associate professors had the highest RG score compared to other academic ranks. However, the highest frequency of membership belonged to assistant professors. Following other researchers' activities and sharing articles were mentioned as advantages of joining ASNs. Isolation, staying away from the real social environment, and lack of information security were also disadvantages of ASNs. There was a positive correlation between scores of altmetrics indicators in ASNs and scientometrics indicators in citation databases. Concerning a positive correlation between altmetrics and scientometrics indicators, ASNs increase the visibility of scientific works and hence increase their citation.

During the last two decades, less than 10% of countries have had the necessary capacities for high participation in international research activities. These countries have occupied central positions in the inter-country research collaboration network. This study, using the theoretical framework of the social system, tried to understand which subsystems were involved in achieving the central position. Based on the theoretical model of the research, an empirical study was conducted using fuzzy-set Qualitative Comparative Analysis (fsQCA) to identify the political, economic, social, and cultural factors that simultaneously led to the central position in the inter-country research collaboration network from 2002 to 2017. Data was analyzed through two novel methodological strategies: fuzzy-set ideal type analysis and strategy of multiple periods, single fsQCA. The results indicated the existence of twenty types of central countries and four causal configurations leading to the central position. This study concludes that in liberal democratic states, at least two political and economic subsystems exist. In non-liberal democratic states, at least three political, economic, and social subsystems must intervene to achieve the central position. By identifying causal configurations leading to the central position through the social system framework and strategies of tracking configurations over time with fsQCA, this study contributes to the literature on international research collaboration. It also offered suggestions to improve the semi-peripheral countries' position.

The Internet of Things (IoT) has made our surroundings more innovative and responsive, which has improved our lives. This research aims to provide a comprehensive overview by describing the descriptive parameters of publications, visualizing co-authorship and citation patterns, extracting the authors’ keywords, and determining the impact and research performance of the IoT in education. Subsequently, this paper provides an orientation for researchers to understand better the main progress and gaps in this scientific publication. From 2006 to 2021, a comprehensive inspection of 2503 documents in the Scopus database was accomplished. Based on the findings, the number of publications increased steadily, with a hike in publication numbers in 2020. Scholars from China contributed approximately 467 of the total global publications among 103 other countries. In addition, of the other 160 outlets, Advances in Intelligent Systems and Computing was the most prolific source title. Generally, there is sustained interest and increased research in this field, apart from establishing novel methods and directions. Accordingly, an in-depth examination of the IoT in education research may assist researchers and practitioners in advancing prospective knowledge in this subject by identifying gaps.

This study focuses on workstations, work postures and employee job satisfaction in the Brawijaya University Library. This study aims to determine the influence of workstations and ergonomics work posture on employee job satisfaction in the library. The research method used quantitative approach. The sampling technique is total sampling with a total of 45 library staffs from 5 department in the library. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The results of the study there is influence of workstations and ergonomic work posture to employee job satisfaction with the t test value for both variables are 2.899 > 2.018 and 3.050 > 2.018 respectively. Based on the results of the R2 test that has been carried out above, the results of the R test of this study are the Workstation variable (X1), Work Posture (X2), simultaneously having an effect of 0.674 or 67.4% on the Job Satisfaction variable (Y). This means that the independent variable provides 67.4% of the information needed to predict and explain the variation of the dependent variable. While 32.6% is influenced by other factors or variables that are not examined.

The study examines the awareness and usage of Academic Social Networking Sites (ASNS) among female research scholars and faculty members in Tamil Nadu, India. A structured questionnaire was used to survey 838 female research scholars through online platforms. The results showed that most respondents use at least one ASNS, with Google Scholar being the most popular. The primary reasons for using ASNS are to disseminate scholarly work and discover research papers. However, a lack of awareness and time was the main reason for not having an account with these sites. The respondents learned about ASNS primarily through friends and colleagues and suggested increasing their use and awareness through seminars and training courses, library posters, and integration in the student courses. The study highlights the importance of ASNS in the research work of female scholars and faculties while also recognizing the need for increased awareness and access to these resources.

Extant studies have focused on exploring the research output of universities in Nigeria, but the measure of the quality of research output using citations per paper (CPP) from the Web of Science (WoS) and Scopus is scarcely discussed. This paper investigated the quality of papers published by the top 76 universities in Nigeria. Five hypotheses on CPP were tested using Kruskal-Wallis and Mann-Whitney tests. These hypotheses tested whether CPP is the same or different i) across six geo-political regions (GPRs), ii) between the two major regions, iii) across three university funding types, iv) in Scopus and WoS, and v) if these two databases are correlated. Results using these two databases indicated that no significant median differences were detected among universities across the six GPRs, between northern and southern Nigeria, and between the three funding types (federal, state, and private). Moreover, no significant median differences in CPP between Scopus and WoS were detected, and CPP in both databases was highly positively correlated (0.879; p = 0.05). A comparison of the mean CPP of Nigeria (5.90) from Scopus with 57 other African countries ranked it 47th despite being ranked third in terms of volume of published articles. Policy prescriptions are made on the implications of using CPP for practice.

هدف: این پژوهش با هدف «شناسایی و تحلیل فعالیت‌های پژوهشی ‏‏‏‏اعضای‏ هیئت علمی رشته علوم سیاسی دانشگاه‌های دولتی تهران در چارچوب آیین‌نامه ‏‏ارتقای‏ ‏‏‏‏اعضای‏ هیئت علمی» انجام شده است.روش‌شناسی: پژوهش حاضر از نوع پژوهش‌های ارزیابانه تحلیلی است که برای انجام آن از روش مطالعه کتابخانه‌ای استفاده شده است. جامعه این پژوهش شامل تمامی ‏‏‏‏اعضای‏ هیئت علمی رشته علوم سیاسی دانشگاه‌های دولتی مستقر در شهر تهران است که تعداد آنان در زمان اجرای تحقیق 174 نفر بودند. برای انتخاب نمونه از روش نمونه‌گیری طبقه‌ای متناسب با حجم استفاده شده است. از میان جامعه آماری تعداد 119 نفر به‌عنوان نمونه آماری با استفاده فرمول نمونه‌گیری کوکران برآورد شدند. گردآوری داده‌های این پژوهش مربوط به بازده زمانی 1395 از زمان اجرایی‌شدن آخرین آیین‌نامه‏‏ ارتقای‏ علمی تا پایان سال 1399 است. داده‌ها اطلاعات با استفاده از نرم‌افزار SPSSنسخه 26 وExcel مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار گرفته است.یافته‌ها: نتایج فعالیت‌های پژوهشی مبتنی بر آیین‌نامه ‏‏ارتقاء‏ نشان داد که تعداد مقالات پژوهشی در دوره مورد مطالعه ، با تعداد 43 مقاله نمایه‌شده در پایگاه ای اس سی، 8 مقاله نمایه‌شده در اسکوپوس، 2 مقاله نمایه‌شده در وب آو ساینس و 2 مقاله نمایه‌شده درجی سی آر است. حداکثر مقالات ترویجی و تحشیه دوره مورد مطالعه با حداکثر 7 مقاله که از این تعداد به ترتیب 7، 2 مربوط به مقالات ترویجی و تحشیه است. تعداد مقالات کامل در همایش­های علمی معتبر در دوره مورد مطالعه با حداکثر 19 مقاله، که از این تعداد به ترتیب 12و17 مربوط به همایش­های علمی معتبر داخلی و بین­المللی است. انجام طرح‌های پژوهشی در دوره مورد مطالعه با حداکثر 4 طرح پژوهشی که از این میزان تعداد طرح­های داخل و خارج موسسه به ترتیب 3 و 4 است. انتشار کتاب در دوره مورد مطالعه با حداکثر 37 جلد کتاب است که از این میزان تألیف و تصنیف کتاب با تعداد 12 بیشترین و بعد از آن ترجمه کتاب با تعداد عددی 8 و عنوان تصحیح کتاب با مقدار عددی . قرار دارد. راهنمایی پایان­نامه­ها و رساله­های دکتری با حداکثر 41 مورد که به ترتیب پایان­نامه کارشناسی ارشد و رساله دکتری به ترتیب 32 و 15 است. حداکثر ارائه کرسی­های نظریه­پردازی دوره مورد مطالعه با مقدار عددی 2 است که کرسی­های علمی – ترویجی نقد و نوآوری علمی در حوزه علمی، نظریه­پردازی در حوزه علمی با مقدار عددی 2 و ارائه نتایج کرسی­ها در همایش­ها با مقدار عددی 0 است. همچنین نسبت کتاب به مقاله در دوره مورد مطالعه یک پنجم است. ترتیب فراوانی انتشار مقاله بر اساس مرتبه علمی ‏‏‏‏اعضاء‏ هیئت علمی استاد، دانشیار و استادیار در دوره مورد مطالعه به ترتیب 43، 33 و 17است. در حوزه تخصص­گرایی ‏ تقریباً بیشترین حوزه فاقد تخصص و روابط بین­الملل ‏‏‏‏اعضاء‏ هیئت علمی رشته علوم سیاسی مربوط به این دو حوزه است. منظور از حوزه فاقد تخصص پژوهشی، عدم نظم، انسجام فکری و یک رویه و تمرکز پژوهشی و حوزه تخصصی خاص و محوری است که با مقدار عددی 24 است، و این بدان معناست که (20.16‏ درصد) ‏‏‏‏اعضای‏ هیئت علمی در هیچ حوزه پژوهشی، تخصصی ندارند و همچنین رشته روابط بین‌الملل با مقدار عددی 24 (20.16‏ درصد) و پس از آنها اندیشه سیاسی در اسلام و ایران با مقدار عددی 6 (5.04‏ درصد) بالاترین حوزه تخصصی را داراست.نتیجه‌گیری: نظام ‏‏ارتقای‏ مرتبه ‏‏‏‏اعضای‏ هیئت علمی به‌عنوان یکی از ابزارهای اصلی سیاست‌گذاری در نظام آموزش عالی نقش ویژه‌ای در جهت‌دهی به عملکرد ‏‏‏‏اعضای‏ هیئت علمی دارد که آیین‌نامه ‏‏ارتقای‏ ‏‏‏‏اعضای‏ هیئت علمی، عینی‌ترین نمود آن محسوب می‌شود. مطالعه متون نشان داد که ‏‏ارتقای‏ مرتبه علمی، مستلزم توجه به دو بُعد کمیّت و کیفیت توأمان با هم بایستی صورت پذیرد. نتایج پژوهش نشان داد. ازآنجایی‌که نظام ‏‏ارتقای‏ ‏‏‏‏اعضای‏ هیئت علمی شامل عناصر متعددی است، ولیکن عدم توازن در ارزش‌گذاری فعالیت‌ها و خلاصه‌شدن وزن ماده پژوهشی به بند مربوط به مقالات علمی– پژوهشی و درنظر‌نگرفتن هیچ سقف امتیازی برای آن باعث شده است تا دیگر فعالیت‌ها تحت‌الشعاع آن قرار گیرد.

هدف: هدف پژوهش حاضر مطالعه‌ علم‌سنجی و ارائه تحلیل سنجه‌های مرکزیت شبکه هم‌نویسندگی پژوهشگران قلمرو هوافضا بر اساس داده‌های موجود در پایگاه «مجموعه هسته وب‏گاه علم» در سطح بین‌الملل است.روش‌شناسی: پژوهش از نوع کاربردی با رویکرد تحلیلی است که به‌منظور دیداری‌سازی شبکه‌ها از فن تحلیل شبکه در سطح خرد و کلان شبکه استفاده شده است. جامعه پژوهش حاضر، شامل کلیه پژوهشگران قلمرو هوافضا (153994 مدرک و 154450 نویسنده) در بازه زمانی 1945 تا 2021 نمایه‌شده در «مجموعه هسته وب‏گاه علم» است که با استفاده از نرم‌افزار DataLab واکشی داده انجام شده است.یافته‌ها: چگالی شبکه هم‌نویسندگی پژوهشگران هوافضا پایین و شبکه از انسجام ضعیفی برخوردار است. در پژوهش حاضر 5 خوشه مشارکت با مرکزیت پژوهشگران برجسته در قلمرو هوافضا شناسایی شد. بیشترین مشارکت علمی میان پژوهشگران هوافضا، بین دو پژوهشگر "Giovanni Mengali"و "Alessandro A. Quarta" از دانشگاه پیزا کشور ایتالیا دیده شد. بیشتر موضوعات پژوهشی پژوهشگران در گرایش موضوعی آیرودینامیک که از مهم‌ترین پایه‌های هوافضا به‌شمار می‌رود‌ و سپس گرایش‌های «مکانیک پرواز»، «کنترل» و «ارتعاشات» به رشته تحریر درآمده است. بعد از «آمریکا» کشور «چین»، بیشترین توانایی را جهت برقراری ارتباط با سایر کشورها در مشارکت علمی نشان داد.نتیجه‌گیری: تدوین سیاست علمی و پیشبرد طرح‌ها و برنامه‌های راهبردی مطلوب پژوهشی هوافضا، مستلزم داشتن اطلاعات جامع و دقیق درباره توانایی‌های بالقوه علمی و فنی پژوهشگران است. نقش پژوهشگران برجسته هوافضا در ارتباطات و پیوندهای علمی، موجب شکل‌گیری مشارکت‌های قابل ملاحظه‌ای در سطح بین‌الملل در هوافضا شده است. بااین‌وجود ضروری است به‌منظور دستیابی به شبکه‌های مشارکت علمی قدرتمند و منسجم به ارتباطات بالقوه و ممکن در بین پژوهشگران و همچنین مراکز پژوهشی و کشورها و بهره‌مندی از ظرفیت هم‌افزایی آنان توجه بیشتری شود.

هدف: هدف اصلی این پژوهش تحلیل حضور علمی زنان مخترع ایرانی در شبکه ‏های علمی- اجتماعی لینکدین و ریسرچ‏ گیت است.روش‏ شناسی: این پژوهش از منظر هدف، کاربردی بوده و به‌صورت کمّی با استفاده از روش مطالعه اسنادی و تحلیل شبکه‏ های اجتماعی در حوزه علم ‏سنجی و با رویکرد آلتمتریکس انجام شده است. جامعه آماری پژوهش شامل 211 زن مخترع ایرانی دارای پروانه ثبت اختراع در پایگاه USPTO است که از این میان 110 مخترع به‌صورت هدفمند به‌عنوان نمونه انتخاب شده‏اند. داده ‏های پژوهش از طریق سیاهه وارسی گردآوری و با استفاده از نرم‌افزارهای اکسل و SPSS تحلیل شده‏ است.یافته ‏ها: بیش از نیمی از زنان مخترع ایرانی (110 نفر) در دو شبکه علمی- اجتماعی لینکدین و ریسرچ گیت عضو بودند که از این میان، تعداد بسیار اندکی از آنها اطلاعات تماس خود را در پروفایلشان درج کرده بودند. همچنین درصد از آنها در لینکدین و درصد نیز در ریسرچ ‏گیت به مشخصات پروانه‏ های ثبت اختراع خود اشاره کرده بودند. نتیجه‏ گیری: نتایج پژوهش حاضر حاکی از اهمیت حضور زنان مخترع ایرانی در شناساندن خود، برقراری ارتباط و همکاری علمی پژوهشی با سایر همکاران علمی است؛ درحالی‌که اغلب زنان مخترع ایرانی از حداکثر امکانات و قابلیت‌های فراهم‌شده در این شبکه ‏ها استفاده نکرده‏ اند.

هدف: هدف از انجام این پژوهش، شناسایی استفاده از شاخص اف.دبلیو.سی.آی در ارزیابی فعالیت‌های پژوهشی پژوهشگران سازمان تحقیقات، آموزش و ترویج کشاورزی است.روش‌شناسی: پژوهش حاضر با رویکرد علم‌سنجی و با استفاده از روش تحلیل استنادی انجام شده است. جامعه پژوهش را 13066 مقاله بین‌المللی از 1589پژوهشگر سازمان تشکیل می‌دهد که داده‌های مربوط به آنها از پایگاه اسکوپوس و نیز سامانه علم‌سنجی سازمان مذکور استخراج شده است. در راستای اهداف پژوهش حاضر، پژوهشگرانی که شاخص هرش 1 داشته و هم‌زمان مقالات آنان نیز از امتیاز اف.دبلیو.سی.آی برخوردار بود (درمجموع 1589 نفر) از این مجموعه استخراج و داده‌های آنها برای این مطالعه تحلیل شد. محاسبه میانگین اف.دبلیو.سی.آی پژوهشگران صرفاً بر مبنای مقالات دارای امتیاز یادشده انجام شده و مقالات فاقد این امتیاز از حیطه بررسی خارج شد. تجزیه و تحلیل داده‌ها با استفاده از نرم‌افزار اکسل و نیز اس‌پی‌اس‌اس صورت گرفته است.یافته‌ها: یافته‌های پژوهش نشان می‌دهد میانگین شاخص اف.دبلیو.سی.آی برای تمامی پژوهشگران مورد مطالعه 0.398 بوده و بالاترین امتیاز به‌دست‌آمده نیز 9.85 است.میانگین این شاخص برای همه گروه‌های موضوعی یازده‌گانه کمتر از 1 بوده و در همین حال گروه موضوعی جنگل و مرتع و منابع طبیعی با کسب 0.61 بالاتر از بقیه گروه‌ها قرار گرفته است. همچنین ارتباط مستقیمی میان شاخص هرش پژوهشگران با شاخص اف.دبلیو.سی.آی آنان درمجموع وجود ندارد یا چنین ارتباطی در حد بسیار ضعیفی است. بر اساس یافته‌های پژوهش میانگین شاخص هرش بالاتر لزوماً به معنای کیفیت بالاتر مقالات نبوده و میانگین موضوعی وزنی این مقالات نسبت به همتایان خود در سطح جهانی در سطح پایین‌تری قرار دارند.نتیجه‌گیری: با وجود تفاوت‌های نه چندان گسترده میان دو شاخص اف.دبلیو.سی.آی و هرش، استفاده از شاخص اف.دبلیو.سی.آی در ارزیابی مقالات پژوهشگران سازمان می‌تواند بیشتر قابل اتکا باشد.

هدف: هدف از این پژوهش تحلیل موضوعی مرتبط با اطلاعات نادرست در زمینه کووید 19 بر اساس مطالعات وب آو ساینس است.روش‌شناسی: پژوهش حاضر یک مطالعه تحلیلی- کاربردی علم‌سنجی است که با استفاده از روش تحلیل محتوا و تکنیک‌های خوشه‌بندی سلسله‌مراتبی به انجام رسیده است. جامعه پژوهشی در حال تحقیق در مورد مقالات مرتبط با اطلاعات نادرست در زمینه کووید 19 است. برای تجزیه و تحلیل داده‌ها از نرم‌افزارهای هیست‌سایت، بیب‌اکسل، یوسی‌آی‌نت، اس‌پی‌اس‌اس استفاده شد.یافته‌ها: در بین مطالعات انجام‌شده در این زمینه، بیشتر آثار در سال 2021 منتشر شده است. کومار اس. با 11 اثر، بیشترین تولیدات علمی را در بین نویسندگان منتشر کرده است. ایالات متحده با 1068 اثر در رتبه اول قرار دارد. بیشتر مطالعات به زبان انگلیسی منتشر شده است. مجله بین‌المللی تحقیقات محیطی و بهداشت عمومی با 96 اثر بیشترین تعداد مطالعات منتشرشده را در بین سایر انتشارات دارد.نتیجه‌گیری: تحلیل و مقایسه مطالعات مرتبط با اطلاعات نادرست در حوزه کووید 19 منجر به درک بهتر جریان‌ها، شکاف‌ها و گفتمان غالب در جهت افزایش کمی و کیفی می‌شود. همچنین نتایج این تحقیق می‌تواند به مدیران و سیاست‌گذاران در تصمیم‌گیری بهتر کمک کند.
