Compensation management is a process of creation, implementation and maintenance of the reward system, which is focused on improvement of the organizational, group and individual performance. Creating of incentive compensation policy is a complex activity and challenge for human resource management. This paper focuses on the relationship between compensation management and business performance. The subject of empirical research were companies from the Republic of Srpska, which employ more than 250 workers. Empirical data related to compensation management were collected by using a questionnaire, whereas empirical data related to the business performance were generated from the financial statements of the observed companies. Applied methods of statistical analysis showed that there is a statistically significant correlation of the observed relationships between compensation management and defined indicators of business performance. Furthermore, it was found that organizations which managed compensation in an adequate way have a statistically significantly higher financial performance. The results show the importance of compensation management, selection of appropriate compensation instruments, and optimization of their level and structure.

This study is focussed on a comprehensive investigation on the state of pollution of Danube and Sava rivers in Belgrade region. Different complementary analytical approaches have been used covering both (i) organic ccontaminants in river water by target analyses of hormones and neonicotinoids as well as non-target screening analyses and (ii) heavy metals in sediments. Finally, some common water quality parameters have been analysed. The overall state of pollution is on a moderate level. Bulk parameters did not reveal any unusual observation. Also quantification of preselected organic contaminants did not point to elevated pollution. A more significant contamination was measured for chromium, nickel, zinc and partially copper in sediments with values above target values according to Serbian regulations. Lastly, non-target screening analysis revealed a wider spectrum of organic contaminants comprising pharmaceuticals, technical additives, personal care products and pesticides. The study presented a comprehensive view on the state of pollution of Sava and Danube rivers and is the base for setting up further monitoring programs. As a superior outcome it has been illustrated how different chemical analyses can point to different assessments of the river quality. The comparison of target and non-target analyses pointed to potential misinterpretation of the real state of pollution.

Farm, which sells products to the yard, achieves the greatest gains per sales day and a minimum per-unit cost. However, the most profit per-unit of product achieves the holding that sells the potato on the stand at the town market and also has the highest per unit cost, but also the highest selling price. In terms of profit per kg, all the variations in sales are more competitive compared to version 6, as a standard. In terms of economy sales, variants 2, 4, and 5, have a worse competitiveness, while the variants 1 and 3 are better than the sixth variant. The largest economic effects realises the management of the farm that sells its products to the ultimate consumer.

This work expands on the recent synthesis and reactivity of the two-coordinate P(III)-containing dication [((Ph3P)2C)P(NiPr2)]2+ (3a2+). Two additional dications of general formula [((RPh2P)2C)P(NR′2)]2+ (3b2+, R = 1/2 (CH2)3, R′ = iPr; 3c2+, R = Ph, R′ = Cy) have been prepared. Solution and solid-state 31P NMR isotropic shifts for this dication class were observed around 360 ppm. Except for [3a][SbF6]2, the 31P CP/MAS NMR spectra reveal a high degree of structural disorder around the dicationic site in the solid state. Surprisingly, the synthesis of dication 3a2+ was only possible in the presence of AlCl4-, SbF6-, and substituted tetraarylborates, while the use of ClO4-, OTf-, BF4-, PF6-, and BPh4- resulted in complex product mixtures. Single-crystal X-ray analysis of dications 3a2+ and 3c2+ suggested a 4π allyl-like structure for the central CPN fragment, and this has been supported through detailed theoretical investigations. Initial reactivity studies between dications 3a2+/3c2+ and PMe3 show an equilibrium between the free dication and the target adduct. Furthermore, 3a2+ has been shown to be capable of O-H bond activation using water and methanol and polymerizes THF when it is dissolved in this solvent. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The reactivity of phosphenium dication [(Ph3P)2C-P-NiPr2]2+, 12+, towards pyridine N-oxide (O-py) has been investigated. The resulting oxophosphonium dication [(Ph3P)2C(NiPr2)P(O)(O-py)]2+, 22+, was surprisingly stabilized by a less nucleophilic O-py ligand instead of pyridine (py). This compound was then identified as an analogue of the elusive Criegee intermediate as it underwent oxygen insertion into the P–C bond through a mechanism usually observed for Baeyer-Villiger oxidations. Tetralogy of Fallot or Tetras Fallot is a congenital heart disease with cyanosis, which involves four associated anomalies of the heart. As physicians in primary health care of children, we treat and monitor the growth and development of children at risk with special attention. Among them are also the children with tetralogy of Fallot. The aim of this report was to present and compare postnatal status of two children with tetralogy of Fallot. We presented the girl and a boy, approximately the same age, operated at the same surgical clinic. Both patients were without hereditary load. The girl had a milder clinical course without complications. The boy had associated anomalies, cerebrovascular insult, and a reoperation. After complete surgical correction of congenital heart disease, both children are progressing and developing within the normal range for age. ECG of both children showed the signs of right bundle branch block. Our mission is to continue to closely monitor these children and react in case of complications or worsening of recent findings. The problem of financing of sports is evident in all countries regardless of their development. Although there are several systems of organizing the sport in the world, two that stand out are the American and European organizations. When there is a European system has a pyramidal structure and such systems financing are in the first row of the household, and public sector (state and local communities) and the company. Percentage extract vary from country to country European Union from 8 euro per capita in Bulgaria to 500 Netherlands. Share of public financing of sports ranges from 8% in the UK to 78% in Bulgaria. Local communities do not finance sport in general in Bulgaria and Malta, while the share of the financing of sport in local communities in total public financing of sports is 96% in Germany. In impoverished society with small market can not expect significant revenue from membership dues, tickets or donations and sponsorship of sports equipment manufacturer, drinks or food. In addition, investment in sport is not appropriate stimulated with special tax benefit for the sport. Current sport position in Bosnia and Herzegovina can be evaluate as part of an organized and very difficult, which is a partial consequence of the war, the political situation and lack of staff, but undefined strategy sports, inadequate legislation and lack of stable funding sources. The report from the visit the Committee for the development of sports and related obligations of Bosnia and Herzegovina (2005) is that the BiH Federation, sports activities mainly finance cantons, while in the Republic Srpska, the local government (cities) who financially support the clubs. Sports clubs, associations and organizations pay high taxes for their money from sponsors, at the same time do not receive any money from games of chance or of the state lottery, because the system does not work (and there are obvious lack of transparency). Evolution of local communities in the Republic of Srpska are different from the middle to the middle. City of Banja Luka, for 2006. year, singled for the sport 1,578,373.00 KM or 1.23% of its budget, which amounts to 128,685,373.00 KM. At the same time, Bijeljina municipalities from the budget of 31,163,000.00 KM separates sports 1,250,000.00 KM or 4.01%. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
