The article addresses a vital issue of nominations of human emotional state of sadness in English. As a part and parcel of daily life and communication, emotions are intrinsically connected to human linguistic behaviour. The research adheres to the anthropocentric paradigm that governs multiple research areas currently, thus making it relevant. Moreover, a combination of the methods used, namely, semantic, lexical, contextual, distributional analysis, combined with online tools and corpora, contributes to the research relevance. Given many triggers of the emotional state people face with on daily basis, the problem of nomination of emotions and finding reasons that lie behind them is a one of the ways to deal with it. The article aims at revealing the semantic and lexical peculiarities of the emotives, nominating sadness in English with reference to their contexts. 40 linguistic units, nominating sadness in English were collected from the dictionaries. About 1000 example sentences were elicited from corpora. The research was implemented in four stages. The structural classification reveled prevalence of verbal emotives with preposition of KV+prep+A type. Further, we focused on the combinatorial features of the emotives based on the British National Corpus texts and Google NGram viewer tool. The verbs be, feel, get are more common to collocate with the emotives under study. The semantics of the emotives is extended by the introduction of the semes increase, decrease and absence of a wide range of sadness triggers. Google NGram newspaper texts tend to resort to the emotives for the nomination of economic and political bodies rather than individuals.

The work is based on a study of long-term collections of molluscs of the family Bithyniidae from the waterbodies of the Tyumen region (Western Siberia), located within the world’s largest Ob-Irtysh natural focus of opisthorchiasis. Difficulties with species identifications of bithyniid snails, the first intermediate hosts of Opisthorchis , necessitate the publication of photographic images of Bithyniidae shells and an identification key based on discrete morphological characters. It has been established that 14 species of Bithyniidae belonging to five genera inhabit the Tyumen region, an annotated list of species is given, and a brief zoogeographical description is given. The most abundant species are Digyrcidum starobogatovi and Boreoelona sibirica, whereas Paraelona milachevitchi were found solitary.

The review is provided for the book "Vu Dinh Long. The Cup of Poison", translated from Vietnamese into Russian by I. Britov. The first translation of the play into Russian was released on its centennial anniversary. Vu Dinh Long's play "The Cup of Poison" has an important historical and cultural significance since it marked the birth of the Vietnamese drama theater in 1921. This publication also includes a scientific apparatus, which consists of literary articles, translator's footnotes explaining Vietnamese realities, the original text of the play in Vietnamese and its first translation into French (1927), as well as a poem.

The work is devoted to the study of physical and mechanical processes occurring during the processing of modified and filled etheretherketone, and the development of a composite material with high performance properties. The effect of co-polyarylethyrketone and glass and carbon fibers on the properties of polyetheretherketone is shown. The critical length of reinforcing fibers is calculated. The effect of the heat annealing process on the properties of the obtained compositions of different compositions has been revealed.

Introduction. One of the modern remedies used to treat vaginal infections are suppositories "Depantol", which have an antiseptic, regenerating effect due to the combination of chlorhexidine and dexpanthenol. The initial stage in the life cycle of any medicinal product (MP) is pharmaceutical development, a systematic approach to which implies the principle of Quality-by-Design (QbD), which is based on obtaining reliable scientific data and risk management for quality. With this approach, pharmaceutical development begins with a preliminary determination of significant factors in the creation of a drug.Aim. Aim of study was to design Quality Target Product Profile, Critical Quality Attributes, Critical Material Attributes – the initial data necessary for the development of composition and technology of a generic drug in accordance with the QbD methodology of ICH Guidance Q8 "Pharmaceutical Development".Materials and methods. Objects of study: chlorhexidine bigluconate, dexpanthenol, PEG-400 and PEG-1500, pharmaceutical development documents. Methods of study: content analysis, system analysis; FMECA method (Failure Modes, Effects and Criticality Analysis).Results and discussion. In order to implement the QbD for the production of a drug of good quality, initial data for the development of the composition and technology of two-component suppositories were obtained. Quality Target Product Profile (QTPP) was compiled taking into account the data of the original drug was used as reference. Based on the compiled QTPP, Critical Quality Attributes (CQAs) were identified. The determination of CQAs from QTPP parameters was based on the strength of the potential harm to the product. Due to the fact that we developed a well-known dosage form, quality indicators were chosen that are standard for hydrophilic suppositories. In order to determine the parameters of the drug components that affect the Critical Quality Attributes, for each of the active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) suppositories contain, the Critical Material Attributes (CMAs) were determined. For example, for liquid ingredients, according to the specification of the substance manufacturer, these are pH, viscosity, impurities, identification, assay, refraction index. For the initial risk assessment, risk assessment matrices of the influence of the Сritical Material Attributes of the components on the Critical Quality Attributes were compiled. When evaluating the effect of chlorhexidine bigluconate on the critical characteristics of the final product, attention was paid to all parameters from the manufacturer's specification, since any deviations in pH, density, presence of related substances and extraneous impurities, assay and identification of the substance may signal the chemical unsuitability of the component. The weight uniformity of suppositories is affected only by the parameters of the technological process. The influence of CMAs of dexpanthenol on the Critical Quality Attributes of the finished product is generally similar to the influence of the parameters of chlorhexidine bigluconate. The difference in the influence of pH and water content on the microbial limits: unlike chlorhexidine bigluconate, which has antiseptic properties, dexpanthenol is more susceptible to microbial contamination. The effect of base CMAs on identification, content uniformity, and assay is not critical. Whereas the pH, assay and identification of PEG-400 and PEG-1500 have a significant impact on the dissolution profile of the active ingredients from the finished dosage form.Conclusion. The data required for the pharmaceutical development of a generic drug, two-component suppositories, was obtained: Quality Target Product Profile, Critical Quality Attributes, Critical Material Parameters. The impact of the critical characteristics of the raw materials on the critical quality attributes of the developed suppositories was assessed.

With the accumulation of data on the evolving SARS-CoV-2 infection pandemic, it became clear that the risk factors for severe course of COVID-19 among the patients with primary immunodeficiency include disorders associated with dysregulation of the immune response. In this regard, it is of interest to identify possible predictors of the pronounced inflammatory reaction upon infection with coronavirus in the patients with general variable immune insufficiency. For this purpose, the dynamics of immune system parameters was studied in a patient with CVID who underwent a severe clinical variant of COVID-19, as an example of clinical case. We present patient K., 49 years old, with CVID diagnosis verified at the age of 35 years who received regular replacement therapy with IVIG. He suffered from COVID-19 in severe form, received anti-cytokine therapy and an additional course of IVIG during the treatment. He was discharged in satisfactory condition. The quantitative and functional parameters of the T and B lineages of immune system were evaluated by flow cytofluorimetry during routine examinations before the infection and three months after the discharge from the hospital after COVID-19. It has been shown that, before the disease, there were changes in the parameters of B cells characteristic of CVID manifesting as a decrease in switched-memory B cells and plasmoblasts. Alterations in the T cell subsets were also revealed, as redistribution of the subpopulation composition towards T effectors with an increased cytolytic potential of these cells and a weakening of T cell suppression, due to decreased Treg in peripheral blood. After undergoing COVID-19, the patient developed specific IgM and IgG antibodies. The development of immune response was accompanied by an increase in the number of un-switched and switched memory B cells. At the same time, we have registered an increase in memory T cells ready for the proliferative response of T helper cells and Treg cells. The initial pro-inflammatory pattern of the T cell lineage system in our patient with CVID is explained by the implementation of the compensatory capabilities of the immune system, thus leading to activation of the cytolytic effects of cellular compartment in adaptive immune response, along with attenuation of the humoral component. Moreover, it is likely that these changes contributed to the clinical course of COVID-19 in this clinical case. Development of a specific humoral response to SARS-CoV-2 in a patient with CVID after a COVID-19 infection is accompanied by an increased proportion of memory B cells, coordinated dynamics of T cell suppression and activation parameters.

The study of the embryonic development of the pancreas gives the opportunity to understand the mechanisms of organ regeneration in case of various pathologies. Worldwide research works, studying histo- and organogenesis of human pancreas, are based on data, received from model animals. Numerous processes of pancreatic development take several hours and remain unclear because white laboratory mouse has short gestation period. Spiny mouse (Acomys) has the prolonged prenatal period and can be a convenient model to study the stages of histo- and organogenesis of the pancreas. The review analyzed similarities and differences in the structure of human pancreas, white laboratory mouse and spiny mouse, the features of prenatal histo- and organogenesis of the pancreas, which should be considered in conducting and interpreting results of fundamental research, and possibility of using of spiny mice as a model animal to study embryonic development and pathology of the pancreas.

Генетическая гетерогенность ВИЧ влияет на патогенность вируса, прогрессирование заболевания и ответ на комбинированную антиретровирусную терапию у инфицированных пациентов, а также препятствует разработке вакцины против данного заболевания. Молекулярно-генетический анализ ВИЧ позволит отслеживать миграцию и мутации вируса, а также прогнозировать развитие эпидемии. Проведен сравнительный анализ нуклеотидной последовательности участка гена Env вариантов ВИЧ Республики Татарстан (г. Казань). Было обнаружено, что исследованные образцы ВИЧ из Республики Татарстан относятся к подтипу А.1 группы М штамма ВИЧ-1.

Introduction. Liver hemodynamics age-related features studying is promising area of portal and caudal vena cava and hepsatic artery of rats hemodynamics exploration.Aim was to determine qualitative and quantitative hemodynamic paremeters of the laboratory rats caudal vena cava of different genders and ages.Materials and methods. The study was conducted on 60 mongrel rats (males and females, 120–170 g) divided into three age groups. The first group included 20 rats aged 1 month, the second – 20 rats aged 6–12 months and the third – 20 rats aged more than 18–24 months. The study of caudal vena cava qualitative and quantitative hemodynamic parameters was performed by ultrasound scanners. Animals were anaesthesized by zoletil-xylazine. Digital data were processed by methods of variational statistics.Results. All animals showed the antegrade caudal vena cava blood flow. The spectrum of blood flow differed in the number, shape of teeth and phase. The most animals showed three-phase spectrum not depend on the animals gender and age. The diameter of the vein did not depend on the gender. In the I and II age groups, the predominance of the volumetric blood flow rate in the CPV in males compared with females was within 10 % (R=0.98 and R=0.37, respectively), in the III age group, the relationship was not statistically significant (R=–0.03). The diameter and maximum systolic blood flow velocity in the caudal vena cava increased slightly (within 3 %) with the age of the animals (R=0.64 and R=0.43, respectively). Volumetric blood flow rate decreased within 4 % with increasing age (R=0.42).Conclusion. The spectrum of rats caudal vena cava blood flow differed in the number, shape of waves and phase. In most animals it was three-phase. In all animals the direction of blood flow was antegrade. The phase of the spectrum was not affected by the animals gender and age. There was no statistically significant dependence of the diameter and linear velocity of blood flow on the gender. The volumetric blood flow rate was slightly higher in males (within 10 %) compared to females. The diameter and the maximum systolic blood flow velocity increased slightly (within 3 %) with the age of the animals. The indicator of the volumetric blood flow rate decreased within 4 % with increasing age.

The demand for a Russian dictionary with indices of abstractness/concreteness of words has been expressed in a number of areas including linguistics, psychology, neurophysiology and cognitive studies focused on imaging concepts in human cognitive systems. Although dictionaries of abstractness/concreteness were compiled for a number of languages, Russian has been recently viewed as an under-resourced language for the lack of one. The Laboratory of Quantitative Linguistics of Kazan Federal University has implemented two methods of compiling dictionaries of abstract/concrete words, i.e. respondents survey and extrapolation of human estimates with the help of an original computer program. In this article, we provide a detailed description of the methodology used for assessing abstractness/concreteness of words by native Russian respondents, as well as control algorithms validating the survey quality. The implementation of the methodology has enabled us to create a Russian dictionary (1500 words) with indices of concreteness/abstractness of words, including those missing in the Russian Semantic Dictionary by N.Yu. Shvedova (1998). We have also created three versions of a machine dictionary of abstractness/concreteness based on the extrapolation of the respondents' ratings. The third, most accurate version contains 22,000 words and has been compiled with the use of a modern deep learning technology of neural networks. The paper provides statistical characteristics (histograms of the distribution of ratings, dispersion, etc.) of both the machine dictionary and the dictionary obtained by interviewing informants. The quality of the machine dictionary was validated on a test set of words by means of contrasting machine and human evaluations with the latter viewed as more credible. The purpose of the paper is to give a detailed description of the methodology employed to create a concrete/abstract dictionary, as well as to demonstrate the methodology of its application in theoretical and applied research on concrete examples. The paper shows the practical use of this vocabulary in six case studies: predicting the complexity of school textbooks as a function of the share of abstract words; comparing abstractness indices of Russian-English equivalents; assessing concreteness/abstractness of polysemantic words; contrasting ratings of different age groups of respondents; contrasting ratings of respondents with different levels of education; analyzing concepts of "concreteness” and “specificity”.

The paper addresses a vital issue of forming idioms with nominations of human body. Human body-related words nominating body parts, physiological and mental processes are used to form numerous English idioms. In given paper these idioms are referred to as human body-related. The paper aims at revealing the specifics of lexical and semantic constituents of the idioms with reference to their contexts. We collected 200 human body-related English idioms from academic books and dictionaries. The research comprised four stages. The thematic classification based on the lexical structure of the idioms revealed prevalence of the idioms comprising words head, eyes, heart, back, foot, and hand. The similarities found in the meanings of all the idioms under study provided semantic classification into five groups, namely, characteristics, action, state, causation, and ability. Next we focused on contextual and semantic specifics of the idioms. In particular, the idioms, containing the word head were studied in the texts of the British National Corpus. The contexts provided the following additional meanings of the idioms: higher position, achievements, location, expenses, and inability to do something. The revealed collocations follow AV+K type. The obtained results and developed algorithm may be applied to lexical and contextual studies of idioms and lexical groups.

This work is devoted to the development of a biocompatible polymer-composite material based on polyetheretherketone (PEEK) with the addition of a reinforcing phase - hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN). This composite is considered as a promising material for use in medicine, for example, for the manufacture of components of a hip joint endoprosthesis or plates for fi xing fractures.The paper considers the properties of the initial components of the material under development, studies the data on the biocompatibility of materials based on PEEK and their application in medicine, in particular, in orthopedics. Experimental data were used to study the eff ect of diff erent concentrations of h-BN on the properties of the composite. In the course of the work, the morphology and size of the particles of the starting materials, as well as the surface of the obtained samples after testing, were investigated, the dependences of the deformation-strength, tribological and biological characteristics on the composition of the composite were obtained and analyzed. A brief analysis of the results obtained is presented, as well as promising directions for the application of the developed material in orthopedics are proposed.

The article provides information on the determination of the bacteriostatic and bactericidal activity of the disinfectants AQUAdes-NUK 5, Desinfexan and IncimaxxDES in relation to Salmonella typhimurium. The activity of disinfectants AQUAdes-NUK 5, Desinfexan and IncimaxxDES in the framework of determining their bactericidal activity and the severity of bacteriostatic properties was studied by the method of serial dilution, in which daily cultures of Salmonella typhimurium were used. During the research, the minimum concentrations were established at which bactericidal activity was manifested and a pronounced bacteriostatic effect was obtained. After processing the results obtained, we can conclude that the disinfectant AQUAdez-NUK 5 has a bacteriostatic effect on S. typhimurium at a concentration of 0.004%, but a pronounced bactericidal effect occurs only at a concentration of 0.008%. The degree of effect of IncimaxxDES disinfectant on S. typhimurium characterizes this agent as highly effective for disinfection when contaminated with this pathogenic microorganism. In particular, the bacteriostatic effect could be ascertained when the concentration reached 0.002%, the bactericidal effect at the 0.008% concentration, which indicates the high efficiency of the drug.Disinfexan has a pronounced antimicrobial effect, the bactericidal effect on S. typhimurium occurred at a similar dilution of 0.002%, and the bacteriostatic effect was manifested at lower dilutions of 0.0005%. In studies on the setting of control during bacteriological examination of the means AQUAdes-NUK 5, IncimaxxDES and Desinfexan, the growth of microorganisms was observed in test tubes into which the culture of S. typhimurium was enucleated. There was no growth in a test tube with the addition of distilled water to the BCH. The results obtained prove that the new disinfectant AQUAdes-NUK 5 exhibits pronounced bactericidal activity against the test microorganism S. typhimurium.

Adaptation for new social conditions is an inevitable factor which the first-year students undergo when entering a medical school. Immune system as a part of entire structural and functional homeostatic complex, is involved into the adaptive reactions, thus pointing to its participation in fitting the new lifestyle among first-year students. One should note some peculiarities of immune reactions which depend on the organization pattern of educational process: despite common features of studies, the training environment for beginners at the military training center (VTC) is different from those for students at the medical and preventive faculty (LPF). The purpose of our study was to compare quantitative and functional parameters of immune system in the first-year students at a medical university, depending on distinct features of educational arrangement.The study included 36 first-year students of the Medical University divided into two groups, comparable for age, sex, and physical condition. The first group included 18 first-year VUTS students, whereas the second group consisted of 18 LPF pupils. Studies of immunological parameters in peripheral blood were carried out three months after the training was started. We have assessed counts and functional potential of T cells, their subpopulation profile, B lymphocyte counts, and serum level of IgA, IgM and IgG, total numbers of natural killer cells and proportion of cytolytically active forms, oxygen-producing activity of neutrophils, and the numbers of peripheral monocytes expressing type 2,4 Toll-like receptors (TLR). Comparison of the adaptive immune response parameters did not reveal any gross differences between the groups. At the same time, evaluation of markers reflecting functional potential of innate immunity cells revealed distinct signs of immune reactions, depending on the faculty of the first-year students. It has been shown that the proportion of functionally active NK-cells containing lytic granzyme B granules was lower in the EUTC students. Also, military medical students have a statistically significantly lower relative and absolute number of peripheral blood monocytes expressing surface TLR 4. The detected signs of suppressed functional potential of macrophages and natural killer cells in the first-year OUV students represent the possibly alarming factor of impaired adaptive reserves of immune system. The data obtained are of interest for development of immune rehabilitation programs to prevent clinical manifestations of immune dysfunction.

The article considers regional social assistance policies in terms of efficiency. The analysis is based on data from a representative household survey conducted by the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat). Efficiency of regional social assistance policies is understood as efficiency of regional budget expenditures on social assistance measures in terms of the impact of these measures on poverty rate and gap, as well as on income inequality. The funds spent on regional social transfers are comparable to the total poverty gap, but reduce the latter by only 9% and the poverty rate by only 1% (from 12 to 11%). To increase efficiency, a significant part of social assistance spending should be redistributed in favor of those most in need.

Cellulophaga lytica is a Gram-negative aerobic bacterium in the genome of which there are many genes encoding polysaccharide degrading enzymes. One of the enzymes named ClGP contains a glycoside hydrolase domain from the GH5 family and a polysaccharide lyase domain from the PL31 family. The enzyme also contains the TAT signaling peptide and the TIGR04183 domain that indicates extracellular nature of the enzyme. Phylogenetic analysis has shown that the enzymes most closely related to ClGP and containing all four domains (TAT, GH5, PL31, TIGR04183) are widespread among bacterial species belonging to the Flavobacteriaceae family. ClGP produced by the recombinant strain of E. coli was purified and characterized. ClGP exhibited activity of endoglucanase (EC 3.2.1.4) and catalyzed hydrolysis of β-D-glucan, carboxymethyl cellulose sodium salt (CMC-Na), and amorphous cellulose, but failed to hydrolyze microcrystalline cellulose and xylan. Products of CMC hydrolysis were cellobiose and cellotriose, whereas β-D-glucan was hydrolyzed to glucose, cellobiose, cellotetraose, and cellopentaose. ClGP was more active against the poly-β-D-mannuronate blocks than against the poly-α-L-glucuronate blocks of alginic acid. This indicates that the enzyme is a polyM lyase (EC 4.2.2.3). ClGP was active against polyglucuronic acid, so it displayed a glucuronan lyase (EC 4.2.2.14) activity. The enzyme had a neutral pH-optimum, was stable in the pH range 6.0-8.0, and displayed moderate thermal stability. ClGP effectively saccharified two species of brown algae, Saccharina latissima and Laminaria digitata, that suggests its potential for use in the production of biofuel from macroalgae.

The transcription of the hlyIIR gene of Bacillus cereus, which is a negative transcriptional regulator of the hlyII gene of hemolysin II, the virulence factor of B. cereus, has been studied. The sequence of the promoter upstream of the hlyIIR gene was identified and the start point of transcription was determined. The effect of HlyIIR on the transcription of its own promoter was analyzed in vitro and in vivo. The constitutive synthesis of the final product was revealed in B. cereus. The results indicate the absence of autoregulation of the hlyIIR gene and the absence of involvement of the hemolysin II gene promoter in regulation of the hlyIIR gene expression.

Breast cancer (BC) is a malignant tumor originating from the epithelium of the breast tissue. There is no single etiological factor in the development of breast cancer. In 310% of patients with breast cancer, the development of the disease is associated with the presence of mutations in the breast cancer gene (BRCA) 1, BRCA2, CHEK, NBS1, TP53. In other patients, breast cancer is sporadic.

Common variable immunodeficiency (CVID) is a variant of primary immunodeficiency in which inhibition of antibody production is formed due to disorders of intercellular interaction affecting cellular elements of both innate and adaptive immune responses. A feature of CVID is the late start and variability of clinical minifestation. These arguments determine the purpose of the study: to identify the dynamics of changes in the cellular parameters of the adaptive and innate immune response depending on the duration and severity of the infectious manifestation of CVID. In this regard, a retrospective analysis of medical histories and dynamic observation of fifteen patients with CVID were carried out. Selection of specific parameters of cellular indices of factors of innate resistance and adaptive immunity was carried out on the basis of systemic-functional approach of immunodiagnostics. It is shown that in patients with CVID -mediated hypogammaglobulinemia and infectious phenotype of clinical manifestation, enhancement of quantitative and functional potentials of T-link effector cells of adaptive immunity is recorded against the background of reduction of number of regulatory T-helpers. With a more severe clinical course of the disease, the number of CD3+HLA DR + limphocytes is lower than with a more favorable version, there is a tendency to decrease the number of these cells, as well as the number of peripheral Treg with an increase in the length of the disease. Cellular components of innate immunity are characterized by a decrease in neutrophil activity, inhibition of antigen-presenting monocyte activity, the number and cytotoxicity of natural killers. At the same time, the tendency to decrease the cytolytic potential of NK with an increase in the length of illness and statistically significant differences depending on the severity of the manifestation of the infectious phenotype of CVID was recorded. The obtained results determine the importance of evaluating the cellular link of the immune system in patients with CVID, including as a prognostic criterion for the severity of the course.

A method for well placement optimization to maximize oil production during a given time interval is proposed. The method is based on an empirical approach related to the enumeration of possible well positions, rather than calculating the gradient of the objective function. This provides, on the one hand, effective paralleling of the well placement optimization algorithm and, consequently, acceleration of the method, and, on the other hand, the global extremum of the objective function. The application of the method to well placement using a digital 3D model of an oil field is considered.

The fauna of the rivers of the north of Western Siberia that do not belong to the Ob’ River basin is of particular interest from the point of view of zoogeography and understanding of the processes of formation of the freshwater malacofauna. Starting in the taiga zone, these rivers flow north and cannot serve as a way of interzonal dispersal of species from lower latitudes. However, information about the fresh-water malacofauna of these river basins is poorly presented in the scientific literature, some of the published species findings are doubtful or erroneous. The gastropod mollusks of the family Valvatidae of the Taz river basin (Western Siberia) are considered. The basin is located closer to the Yenisei than to the Ob’ River basin. The study was based on original authors’ material represented by both qualitative and quantitative samples. It has been found that eight species of mollusks of the genus Valvata occurs in the water reservoirs and streams of the Taz basin, an annotated list of species is presented, and a brief zoogeographic characteristic is given. Three species (Valvata helicoidea, V. sorensis and V. korotnevi) are for the first time recorded from the basin, one of them (V. korotnevi) is for the first time recorded from the Western Siberia waterbodies.

The article presents the results of an analysis of the practice of providing the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation with state services for making preliminary decisions on the classification of goods in accordance with the unified Commodity Nomenclature of Foreign Economic Activity of the Eurasian Economic Union. The main problems and contradictions arising in the implementation of this service are identified. The results of monitoring the experience of foreign customs services in the direction of preliminary classification of goods are presented. Proposals were made to improve the institution of preliminary classification of goods in the Russian Federation in terms of requirements for the composition and procedure for performing certain administrative procedures. It is shown that in order to increase the attractiveness of the state service for the preliminary classification of goods, it is possible to use the positive experience of other states, which will increase the efficiency of the customs service of Russia.

The article substantiates the approach to the formation of an international catalog and databases that specify the assortment and quality characteristics of goods. A method that allows consumers to quickly search for products and services is described. A unified system of description and coding of goods and services is proposed, and the procedure for its formation and application in practice is described. The principle of forming the proposed system when creating a catalog for engineering systems is considered on the example of a product widely distributed on the international market and used in all construction structures - polypropylene pipes and fittings for internal water supply, heating and cooling systems.

The article considers the problems of classification of innovative and modernized goods in accordance with the unified Goods nomenclature foreign economic activity of the Eurasian Economic Union. Using the example of two-wheeled vehicles equipped with an electric motor and powered by a battery that are modernized and in demand on the foreign trade market, the main classification errors and their causes are shown, both for foreign trade participants when declaring and for customs authorities when checking the correctness of the classification. It is revealed that the name of the product "scooter", declared by the declarant in the declaration for the goods, is not decisive for its classification in the heading provided for toys, since the technical characteristics and properties are characteristic of vehicles of commodity item 8711. It is established that ignoring the identification process is one of the main errors in the classification of "new generation" goods. Consumer properties and characteristics of this type of goods are decisive when classifying them according to the Basic Rules of Interpretation.

Differential diagnosis of hypoglycemic syndrome remains an urgent problem in Pediatrics. In this article, a case of glycogen storage disease (BNG) type 0 is described in the boy, which is undoubtedly a rare pathology, which makes it difficult to diagnose this form of glycogenosis. In this description, the case of type 0 BNG is caused by a mutation in the GYS2 gene encoding the hepatic isoform of glycogen synthase. This form of the disease is usually asymptomatic in infancy. However, it can be suspected in the case when the refusal of night feeding causes certain difficulties due to the hungry ketotic hypoglycemia that occurs in the child. The first clinical symptoms appear in early childhood with the inclusion of a more varied diet in the child, increasing the intervals between meals. Symptoms of the disease are primarily caused by hypoglycemia. It should be noted that, despite the low levels of glycemia, most children do not have any mental development disorders, since the increase in the level of ketone bodies in the blood plasma provides the brain with an alternative source of energy.

Ten species of halophilic gastropods of the genus Caspiohydrobia are identified for the first time from the Lantsug and Gor’kaya Rechka salt rivers, tributaries of Lakes Elton and Baskunchak, respectively. The genus was previously known from the Caspian and Aral seas and some salt water bodies of Kazakhstan and Chelyabinsk and Kurgan regions. Since the hydrological and hydrochemical regimes of salt rivers critically depend on climatic conditions, Caspiohydrobia living in these habitats can be considered endangered.

The recent emergence of such new previously unknown threats to the state, the society and the individual that are not provided for in the key documents on strategic development of the Russian Federation as the pandemic of COVID-19 will lead to long-term unpredictable consequences and make a considerable impact on all spheres of activity. In the future, other previously unknown and equally dangerous infectious diseases may emerge and crisis situations may develop. The goal of this study is to identify the problem areas of criminal proceedings in crisis situations and to develop research-based and practically relevant recommendations aimed at ensuring the constitutional rights and freedoms of criminal proceedings participants in an emergency situation, a lockdown introduced to protect the life and health of these participants as well as people they contact with, regardless of their procedural legal status. Specific tasks of the study: 1) to identify the special features of Russian legislation that regulate the procedure of the preliminary investigation and the court inquiry of a criminal case that permit distance participation of any criminal case participants; 2) to analyze the results of the work of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation that took into account the threats that the pandemic poses to the state, the individual and the society; 3) to present the views of Russian and foreign researchers of court proceedings on the analyzed sphere of activities; 4) to study the international experience connected with the impact of infectious diseases on criminal justice; 5) to present recommendations regarding the future development of legislation and improvement of the practice of law enforcement aimed at ensuring the constitutional rights and freedoms of the participants of criminal proceedings in the conditions of emergency. The methodological basis of research is the dialectical method of cognition, the general research methods of abstracting, analysis and synthesis, as well as specific legal methods: comparative-legal, logical-legal, etc. The authors have come to the conclusion that COVID-19 pandemic had a considerable influence on the introduction of new information and communication technologies into the criminal court proceedings. The existing situation convincingly demonstrates that it is necessary to search for new conceptual ideas and technologies, to use them in the doctrine of criminal procedure law and to develop research-based suggestions on improving legislation and the practice of law enforcement, which will effectively ensure the constitutional rights and freedoms of the subjects of criminal procedure relations in the conditions of isolation, including a right to a fair trial and access to justice. The authors argue for the expediency of modernizing legislation, for the transition of court proceedings from a simple written form to the electronic one, as well as to the paper-free interaction of all criminal proceedings participants.

The pore-forming activity of SsoHel308 helicase from extreme thermophilic archaea Saccharolobus solfataricus has been demonstrated for the first time. This protein embedded in rabbit erythrocyte membranes may cause erythrocyte hemolysis. It has been shown that this enzyme forms pores in a planar artificial bilayer membrane and acts as a transformer. After embedding this enzyme into biolayer lipid membranes, the membrane conductivity is altered. Taken together, our results show that SsoHel308 helicase is able to form pores in artificial bilayer membranes and, in some cases, the current that flows across the membranes shares features typical of ion channels. The short lifetime of the pores in the membrane significantly reduces the toxicity of helicase for a living cell. The possibility of directed translocation of single-stranded DNA in the presence of ATP will enable the use of this enzyme as a molecular syringe for injecting single-stranded DNA into living cells.
