We investigate the effect of top Al2O3 interlayer thickness on the memory window (MW) of Si channel ferroelectric field-effect transistors (Si-FeFETs) with TiN/Al$_2$O$_3$/Hf$_{0.5}$Zr$_{0.5}$O$_2$/SiO$_x$/Si (MIFIS) gate structure. We find that the MW first increases and then remains almost constant with the increasing thickness of the top Al2O3. The phenomenon is attributed to the lower electric field of the ferroelectric Hf$_{0.5}$Zr$_{0.5}$O$_2$ in the MIFIS structure with a thicker top Al2O3 after a program operation. The lower electric field makes the charges trapped at the top Al2O3/Hf0.5Zr0.5O$_2$ interface, which are injected from the metal gate, cannot be retained. Furthermore, we study the effect of the top Al$_2$O$_3$ interlayer thickness on the reliability (endurance characteristics and retention characteristics). We find that the MIFIS structure with a thicker top Al$_2$O$_3$ interlayer has poorer retention and endurance characteristics. This paper introduces the model structure used in the SVDD 2024 Challenge. The SVDD 2024 challenge has been introduced this year for the first time. Singing voice deepfake detection (SVDD) which faces complexities due to informal speech intonations and varying speech rates. In this paper, we propose the XWSB system, which achieved SOTA per-formance in the SVDD challenge. XWSB stands for XLS-R, WavLM, and SLS Blend, representing the integration of these technologies for the purpose of SVDD. Specifically, we used the best performing model structure XLS-R&SLS from the ASVspoof DF dataset, and applied SLS to WavLM to form the WavLM&SLS structure. Finally, we integrated two models to form the XWSB system. Experimental results show that our system demonstrates advanced recognition capabilities in the SVDD challenge, specifically achieving an EER of 2.32% in the CtrSVDD track. Multi-modal image fusion integrates complementary information from different modalities to produce enhanced and informative images. Although State-Space Models, such as Mamba, are proficient in long-range modeling with linear complexity, most Mamba-based approaches use fixed scanning strategies, which can introduce biased prior information. To mitigate this issue, we propose a novel Bayesian-inspired scanning strategy called Random Shuffle, supplemented by an theoretically-feasible inverse shuffle to maintain information coordination invariance, aiming to eliminate biases associated with fixed sequence scanning. Based on this transformation pair, we customized the Shuffle Mamba Framework, penetrating modality-aware information representation and cross-modality information interaction across spatial and channel axes to ensure robust interaction and an unbiased global receptive field for multi-modal image fusion. Furthermore, we develop a testing methodology based on Monte-Carlo averaging to ensure the model's output aligns more closely with expected results. Extensive experiments across multiple multi-modal image fusion tasks demonstrate the effectiveness of our proposed method, yielding excellent fusion quality over state-of-the-art alternatives. The recent advances in large language models (LLMs) have significantly expanded their applications across various fields such as language generation, summarization, and complex question answering. However, their application to privacy compliance and technical privacy reviews remains under-explored, raising critical concerns about their ability to adhere to global privacy standards and protect sensitive user data. This paper seeks to address this gap by providing a comprehensive case study evaluating LLMs' performance in privacy-related tasks such as privacy information extraction (PIE), legal and regulatory key point detection (KPD), and question answering (QA) with respect to privacy policies and data protection regulations. We introduce a Privacy Technical Review (PTR) framework, highlighting its role in mitigating privacy risks during the software development life-cycle. Through an empirical assessment, we investigate the capacity of several prominent LLMs, including BERT, GPT-3.5, GPT-4, and custom models, in executing privacy compliance checks and technical privacy reviews. Our experiments benchmark the models across multiple dimensions, focusing on their precision, recall, and F1-scores in extracting privacy-sensitive information and detecting key regulatory compliance points. While LLMs show promise in automating privacy reviews and identifying regulatory discrepancies, significant gaps persist in their ability to fully comply with evolving legal standards. We provide actionable recommendations for enhancing LLMs' capabilities in privacy compliance, emphasizing the need for robust model improvements and better integration with legal and regulatory requirements. Large Language Models (LLMs) have recently displayed their extraordinary capabilities in language understanding. However, how to comprehensively assess the sentiment capabilities of LLMs continues to be a challenge. This paper investigates the ability of LLMs to detect and react to sentiment in text modal. As the integration of LLMs into diverse applications is on the rise, it becomes highly critical to comprehend their sensitivity to emotional tone, as it can influence the user experience and the efficacy of sentiment-driven tasks. We conduct a series of experiments to evaluate the performance of several prominent LLMs in identifying and responding appropriately to sentiments like positive, negative, and neutral emotions. The models' outputs are analyzed across various sentiment benchmarks, and their responses are compared with human evaluations. Our discoveries indicate that although LLMs show a basic sensitivity to sentiment, there are substantial variations in their accuracy and consistency, emphasizing the requirement for further enhancements in their training processes to better capture subtle emotional cues. Take an example in our findings, in some cases, the models might wrongly classify a strongly positive sentiment as neutral, or fail to recognize sarcasm or irony in the text. Such misclassifications highlight the complexity of sentiment analysis and the areas where the models need to be refined. Another aspect is that different LLMs might perform differently on the same set of data, depending on their architecture and training datasets. We study the impact of top SiO2 interlayer thickness on the memory window (MW) of Si channel ferroelectric field-effect transistor (FeFET) with TiN/SiO2/Hf0.5Zr0.5O2/SiOx/Si (MIFIS) gate structure. We find that the MW increases with the increasing thickness of the top SiO2 interlayer, and such an increase exhibits a two-stage linear dependence. The physical origin is the presence of the different interfacial charges trapped at the top SiO2/Hf0.5Zr0.5O2 interface. Moreover, we investigate the dependence of endurance characteristics on initial MW. We find that the endurance characteristic degrades with increasing the initial MW. By inserting a 3.4 nm SiO2 dielectric interlayer between the gate metal TiN and the ferroelectric Hf0.5Zr0.5O2, we achieve a MW of 6.3 V and retention over 10 years. We explore the bound neutrons decay into invisible particles (e.g., $n\rightarrow 3 \nu$ or $nn \rightarrow 2 \nu$) in the JUNO liquid scintillator detector. The invisible decay includes two decay modes: $ n \rightarrow { inv} $ and $ nn \rightarrow { inv} $. The invisible decays of $s$-shell neutrons in $^{12}{\rm C}$ will leave a highly excited residual nucleus. Subsequently, some de-excitation modes of the excited residual nuclei can produce a time- and space-correlated triple coincidence signal in the JUNO detector. Based on a full Monte Carlo simulation informed with the latest available data, we estimate all backgrounds, including inverse beta decay events of the reactor antineutrino $\bar{\nu}_e$, natural radioactivity, cosmogenic isotopes and neutral current interactions of atmospheric neutrinos. Pulse shape discrimination and multivariate analysis techniques are employed to further suppress backgrounds. With two years of exposure, JUNO is expected to give an order of magnitude improvement compared to the current best limits. Low-Light Video Enhancement (LLVE) seeks to restore dynamic and static scenes plagued by severe invisibility and noise. One critical aspect is formulating a consistency constraint specifically for temporal-spatial illumination and appearance enhanced versions, a dimension overlooked in existing methods. In this paper, we present an innovative video Retinex-based decomposition strategy that operates without the need for explicit supervision to delineate illumination and reflectance components. We leverage dynamic cross-frame correspondences for intrinsic appearance and enforce a scene-level continuity constraint on the illumination field to yield satisfactory consistent decomposition results. To further ensure consistent decomposition, we introduce a dual-structure enhancement network featuring a novel cross-frame interaction mechanism. This mechanism can seamlessly integrate with encoder-decoder single-frame networks, incurring minimal additional parameter costs. By supervising different frames simultaneously, this network encourages them to exhibit matching decomposition features, thus achieving the desired temporal propagation. Extensive experiments are conducted on widely recognized LLVE benchmarks, covering diverse scenarios. Our framework consistently outperforms existing methods, establishing a new state-of-the-art (SOTA) performance.

Liquid scintillator (LS) is commonly utilized in experiments seeking rare events due to its high light yield, transparency, and radiopurity. The concentration of $^{238}$U and $^{232}$Th in LS consistently remains below 1 ppq (10$^{-15}$ g/g), and the current screening result is based on a minimum 20-ton detector. Inductively coupled plasma mass (ICP-MS) spectroscopy is well-regarded for its high sensitivity to trace $^{238}$U and $^{232}$Th. This study outlines a method for detecting $^{238}$U and $^{232}$Th in LS at the sub-ppq level using ICP-MS, involving the enrichment of $^{238}$U/$^{232}$Th from the LS through acid extraction. With meticulous cleanliness control, $^{238}$U/$^{232}$Th in approximately 2 kg of LS is concentrated by acid extraction with 0.4 (0.3) pg $^{238}$U ($^{232}$Th) contamination. Three standard adding methods are employed to assess recovery efficiency, including radon daughter, 2,5-diphenyloxazole (PPO), and natural non-existent $^{233}$U/$^{229}$Th. The method detection limit at a 99% confidence level of this approach can reach approximately 0.2-0.3 ppq for $^{238}$U/$^{232}$Th with nearly 100% recovery efficiency.

Generating high-fidelity human video with specified identities has attracted significant attention in the content generation community. However, existing techniques struggle to strike a balance between training efficiency and identity preservation, either requiring tedious case-by-case fine-tuning or usually missing identity details in the video generation process. In this study, we present \textbf{ID-Animator}, a zero-shot human-video generation approach that can perform personalized video generation given a single reference facial image without further training. ID-Animator inherits existing diffusion-based video generation backbones with a face adapter to encode the ID-relevant embeddings from learnable facial latent queries. To facilitate the extraction of identity information in video generation, we introduce an ID-oriented dataset construction pipeline that incorporates unified human attributes and action captioning techniques from a constructed facial image pool. Based on this pipeline, a random reference training strategy is further devised to precisely capture the ID-relevant embeddings with an ID-preserving loss, thus improving the fidelity and generalization capacity of our model for ID-specific video generation. Extensive experiments demonstrate the superiority of ID-Animator to generate personalized human videos over previous models. Moreover, our method is highly compatible with popular pre-trained T2V models like animatediff and various community backbone models, showing high extendability in real-world applications for video generation where identity preservation is highly desired. We introduce X-Ray, a novel 3D sequential representation inspired by the penetrability of x-ray scans. X-Ray transforms a 3D object into a series of surface frames at different layers, making it suitable for generating 3D models from images. Our method utilizes ray casting from the camera center to capture geometric and textured details, including depth, normal, and color, across all intersected surfaces. This process efficiently condenses the whole 3D object into a multi-frame video format, motivating the utilize of a network architecture similar to those in video diffusion models. This design ensures an efficient 3D representation by focusing solely on surface information. Also, we propose a two-stage pipeline to generate 3D objects from X-Ray Diffusion Model and Upsampler. We demonstrate the practicality and adaptability of our X-Ray representation by synthesizing the complete visible and hidden surfaces of a 3D object from a single input image. Experimental results reveal the state-of-the-art superiority of our representation in enhancing the accuracy of 3D generation, paving the way for new 3D representation research and practical applications.

In real-world scenarios, images captured often suffer from blurring, noise, and other forms of image degradation, and due to sensor limitations, people usually can only obtain low dynamic range images. To achieve high-quality images, researchers have attempted various image restoration and enhancement operations on photographs, including denoising, deblurring, and high dynamic range imaging. However, merely performing a single type of image enhancement still cannot yield satisfactory images. In this paper, to deal with the challenge above, we propose the Composite Refinement Network (CRNet) to address this issue using multiple exposure images. By fully integrating information-rich multiple exposure inputs, CRNet can perform unified image restoration and enhancement. To improve the quality of image details, CRNet explicitly separates and strengthens high and low-frequency information through pooling layers, using specially designed Multi-Branch Blocks for effective fusion of these frequencies. To increase the receptive field and fully integrate input features, CRNet employs the High-Frequency Enhancement Module, which includes large kernel convolutions and an inverted bottleneck ConvFFN. In real-world scenarios, due to a series of image degradations, obtaining high-quality, clear content photos is challenging. While significant progress has been made in synthesizing high-quality images, previous methods for image restoration and enhancement often overlooked the characteristics of different degradations. They applied the same structure to address various types of degradation, resulting in less-than-ideal restoration outcomes. Inspired by the notion that high/low frequency information is applicable to different degradations, we introduce HLNet, a Bracketing Image Restoration and Enhancement method based on high-low frequency decomposition. Specifically, we employ two modules for feature extraction: shared weight modules and non-shared weight modules. In the shared weight modules, we use SCConv to extract common features from different degradations. In the non-shared weight modules, we introduce the High-Low Frequency Decomposition Block (HLFDB), which employs different methods to handle high-low frequency information, enabling the model to address different degradations more effectively. Recently entanglement suppression was proposed to be one possible origin of emergent symmetries. Here we test this conjecture in the context of heavy meson scatterings. The low-energy interactions of $D^{(*)}\bar D^{(*)}$ and $D^{(*)} D^{(*)}$ are closely related to the hadronic molecular candidates $X(3872)$ and $T_{cc}(3875)^+$, respectively, and can be described by a nonrelativistic effective Lagrangian manifesting heavy-quark spin symmetry, which includes only constant contact potentials at leading order. We explore entanglement suppression in a tensor-product framework to treat both the isospin and spin degrees of freedom. Using the $X(3872)$ and $T_{cc}(3875)^+$ as inputs, we find that entanglement suppression indeed leads to an emergent symmetry, namely, a light-quark spin symmetry, and as such the $D^{(*)}\bar D^{(*)}$ or $D^{(*)} D^{(*)}$ interaction strengths for a given total isospin do not depend on the total angular momentum of light (anti)quarks. The $X(3872)$ and $T_{cc}(3875)^+$ are predicted to have five and one isoscalar partner, respectively, while the corresponding partner numbers derived solely from heavy-quark spin symmetry are three and one, respectively. We present FashionEngine, an interactive 3D human generation and editing system that creates 3D digital humans via user-friendly multimodal controls such as natural languages, visual perceptions, and hand-drawing sketches. FashionEngine automates the 3D human production with three key components: 1) A pre-trained 3D human diffusion model that learns to model 3D humans in a semantic UV latent space from 2D image training data, which provides strong priors for diverse generation and editing tasks. 2) Multimodality-UV Space encoding the texture appearance, shape topology, and textual semantics of human clothing in a canonical UV-aligned space, which faithfully aligns the user multimodal inputs with the implicit UV latent space for controllable 3D human editing. The multimodality-UV space is shared across different user inputs, such as texts, images, and sketches, which enables various joint multimodal editing tasks. 3) Multimodality-UV Aligned Sampler learns to sample high-quality and diverse 3D humans from the diffusion prior. Extensive experiments validate FashionEngine's state-of-the-art performance for conditional generation/editing tasks. In addition, we present an interactive user interface for our FashionEngine that enables both conditional and unconditional generation tasks, and editing tasks including pose/view/shape control, text-, image-, and sketch-driven 3D human editing and 3D virtual try-on, in a unified framework. Recent 3D human generative models have achieved remarkable progress by learning 3D-aware GANs from 2D images. However, existing 3D human generative methods model humans in a compact 1D latent space, ignoring the articulated structure and semantics of human body topology. In this paper, we explore more expressive and higher-dimensional latent space for 3D human modeling and propose StructLDM, a diffusion-based unconditional 3D human generative model, which is learned from 2D images. StructLDM solves the challenges imposed due to the high-dimensional growth of latent space with three key designs: 1) A semantic structured latent space defined on the dense surface manifold of a statistical human body template. 2) A structured 3D-aware auto-decoder that factorizes the global latent space into several semantic body parts parameterized by a set of conditional structured local NeRFs anchored to the body template, which embeds the properties learned from the 2D training data and can be decoded to render view-consistent humans under different poses and clothing styles. 3) A structured latent diffusion model for generative human appearance sampling. Extensive experiments validate StructLDM's state-of-the-art generation performance and illustrate the expressiveness of the structured latent space over the well-adopted 1D latent space. Dynamic human rendering from video sequences has achieved remarkable progress by formulating the rendering as a mapping from static poses to human images. However, existing methods focus on the human appearance reconstruction of every single frame while the temporal motion relations are not fully explored. In this paper, we propose a new 4D motion modeling paradigm, SurMo, that jointly models the temporal dynamics and human appearances in a unified framework with three key designs: 1) Surface-based motion encoding that models 4D human motions with an efficient compact surface-based triplane. It encodes both spatial and temporal motion relations on the dense surface manifold of a statistical body template, which inherits body topology priors for generalizable novel view synthesis with sparse training observations. 2) Physical motion decoding that is designed to encourage physical motion learning by decoding the motion triplane features at timestep t to predict both spatial derivatives and temporal derivatives at the next timestep t+1 in the training stage. 3) 4D appearance decoding that renders the motion triplanes into images by an efficient volumetric surface-conditioned renderer that focuses on the rendering of body surfaces with motion learning conditioning. Extensive experiments validate the state-of-the-art performance of our new paradigm and illustrate the expressiveness of surface-based motion triplanes for rendering high-fidelity view-consistent humans with fast motions and even motion-dependent shadows. Recovering ghost-free High Dynamic Range (HDR) images from multiple Low Dynamic Range (LDR) images becomes challenging when the LDR images exhibit saturation and significant motion. Recent Diffusion Models (DMs) have been introduced in HDR imaging field, demonstrating promising performance, particularly in achieving visually perceptible results compared to previous DNN-based methods. However, DMs require extensive iterations with large models to estimate entire images, resulting in inefficiency that hinders their practical application. To address this challenge, we propose the Low-Frequency aware Diffusion (LF-Diff) model for ghost-free HDR imaging. The key idea of LF-Diff is implementing the DMs in a highly compacted latent space and integrating it into a regression-based model to enhance the details of reconstructed images. Specifically, as low-frequency information is closely related to human visual perception we propose to utilize DMs to create compact low-frequency priors for the reconstruction process. In addition, to take full advantage of the above low-frequency priors, the Dynamic HDR Reconstruction Network (DHRNet) is carried out in a regression-based manner to obtain final HDR images. Pre-trained models with large-scale training data, such as CLIP and Stable Diffusion, have demonstrated remarkable performance in various high-level computer vision tasks such as image understanding and generation from language descriptions. Yet, their potential for low-level tasks such as image restoration remains relatively unexplored. In this paper, we explore such models to enhance image restoration. As off-the-shelf features (OSF) from pre-trained models do not directly serve image restoration, we propose to learn an additional lightweight module called Pre-Train-Guided Refinement Module (PTG-RM) to refine restoration results of a target restoration network with OSF. PTG-RM consists of two components, Pre-Train-Guided Spatial-Varying Enhancement (PTG-SVE), and Pre-Train-Guided Channel-Spatial Attention (PTG-CSA). PTG-SVE enables optimal short- and long-range neural operations, while PTG-CSA enhances spatial-channel attention for restoration-related learning. Extensive experiments demonstrate that PTG-RM, with its compact size ($<$1M parameters), effectively enhances restoration performance of various models across different tasks, including low-light enhancement, deraining, deblurring, and denoising., Comment: CVPR2024

We assessed the benefit of combining stress cardiac CT perfusion (CCTP) myocardial blood flow (MBF) with coronary CT angiography (CCTA) using our innovative CCTP software. By combining CCTA and CCTP, one can uniquely identify a flow limiting stenosis (obstructive-lesion + low-MBF) versus MVD (no-obstructive-lesion + low-MBF. We retrospectively evaluated 104 patients with suspected CAD, including 18 with diabetes, who underwent CCTA+CCTP. Whole heart and territorial MBF was assessed using our automated pipeline for CCTP analysis that included beam hardening correction; temporal scan registration; automated segmentation; fast, accurate, robust MBF estimation; and visualization. Stenosis severity was scored using the CCTA coronary-artery-disease-reporting-and-data-system (CAD-RADS), with obstructive stenosis deemed as CAD-RADS>=3. We established a threshold MBF (MBF=199-mL/min-100g) for normal perfusion. In patients with CAD-RADS>=3, 28/37(76%) patients showed ischemia in the corresponding territory. Two patients with obstructive disease had normal perfusion, suggesting collaterals and/or a hemodynamically insignificant stenosis. Among diabetics, 10 of 18 (56%) demonstrated diffuse ischemia consistent with MVD. Among non-diabetics, only 6% had MVD. Sex-specific prevalence of MVD was 21%/24% (M/F). On a per-vessel basis (n=256), MBF showed a significant difference between territories with and without obstructive stenosis (165 +/- 61 mL/min-100g vs. 274 +/- 62 mL/min-100g, p <0.05). A significant and negative rank correlation (rho=-0.53, p<0.05) between territory MBF and CAD-RADS was seen. CCTA in conjunction with a new automated quantitative CCTP approach can augment the interpretation of CAD, enabling the distinction of ischemia due to obstructive lesions and MVD.

Background: Recent studies have used basic epicardial adipose tissue (EAT) assessments (e.g., volume and mean HU) to predict risk of atherosclerosis-related, major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE). Objectives: Create novel, hand-crafted EAT features, 'fat-omics', to capture the pathophysiology of EAT and improve MACE prediction. Methods: We segmented EAT using a previously-validated deep learning method with optional manual correction. We extracted 148 radiomic features (morphological, spatial, and intensity) and used Cox elastic-net for feature reduction and prediction of MACE. Results: Traditional fat features gave marginal prediction (EAT-volume/EAT-mean-HU/ BMI gave C-index 0.53/0.55/0.57, respectively). Significant improvement was obtained with 15 fat-omics features (C-index=0.69, test set). High-risk features included volume-of-voxels-having-elevated-HU-[-50, -30-HU] and HU-negative-skewness, both of which assess high HU, which as been implicated in fat inflammation. Other high-risk features include kurtosis-of-EAT-thickness, reflecting the heterogeneity of thicknesses, and EAT-volume-in-the-top-25%-of-the-heart, emphasizing adipose near the proximal coronary arteries. Kaplan-Meyer plots of Cox-identified, high- and low-risk patients were well separated with the median of the fat-omics risk, while high-risk group having HR 2.4 times that of the low-risk group (P<0.001). We investigated the feasibility and advantages of using non-contrast CT calcium score (CTCS) images to assess pericoronary adipose tissue (PCAT) and its association with major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE). PCAT features from coronary CTA (CCTA) have been shown to be associated with cardiovascular risk but are potentially confounded by iodine. If PCAT in CTCS images can be similarly analyzed, it would avoid this issue and enable its inclusion in formal risk assessment from readily available, low-cost CTCS images. To identify coronaries in CTCS images that have subtle visual evidence of vessels, we registered CTCS with paired CCTA images having coronary labels. We developed a novel axial-disk method giving regions for analyzing PCAT features in three main coronary arteries. We analyzed novel hand-crafted and radiomic features using univariate and multivariate logistic regression prediction of MACE and compared results against those from CCTA. Registration accuracy was sufficient to enable the identification of PCAT regions in CTCS images. Motion or beam hardening artifacts were often present in high-contrast CCTA but not CTCS. Mean HU and volume were increased in both CTCS and CCTA for MACE group. There were significant positive correlations between some CTCS and CCTA features, suggesting that similar characteristics were obtained. Using hand-crafted/radiomics from CTCS and CCTA, AUCs were 0.82/0.79 and 0.83/0.77 respectively, while Agatston gave AUC=0.73. Cobalt is used in Li-ion batteries, but it is expensive and could be replaced by nickel to deliver better performance at a lower cost. With this motivation, we discuss how the character of redox orbitals of LiNiO$_2$ can be ascertained through x-ray Compton scattering measurements combined with parallel first-principles simulations. Our analysis reveals the nature of hole states in Li-doped NiO resulting from the hybridization of O 2$p$ and Ni 3$d$ orbitals. RAW to sRGB mapping, which aims to convert RAW images from smartphones into RGB form equivalent to that of Digital Single-Lens Reflex (DSLR) cameras, has become an important area of research. However, current methods often ignore the difference between cell phone RAW images and DSLR camera RGB images, a difference that goes beyond the color matrix and extends to spatial structure due to resolution variations. Recent methods directly rebuild color mapping and spatial structure via shared deep representation, limiting optimal performance. Inspired by Image Signal Processing (ISP) pipeline, which distinguishes image restoration and enhancement, we present a novel Neural ISP framework, named FourierISP. This approach breaks the image down into style and structure within the frequency domain, allowing for independent optimization. FourierISP is comprised of three subnetworks: Phase Enhance Subnet for structural refinement, Amplitude Refine Subnet for color learning, and Color Adaptation Subnet for blending them in a smooth manner. This approach sharpens both color and structure, and extensive evaluations across varied datasets confirm that our approach realizes state-of-the-art results. In this work, we demonstrate the enlargement of the memory window of Si channel FeFET with ferroelectric Hf0.5Zr0.5O2 by gate-side dielectric interlayer engineering. By inserting an Al2O3 dielectric interlayer between TiN gate metal and ferroelectric Hf0.5Zr0.5O2, we achieve a memory window of 3.2 V with endurance of ~105 cycles and retention over 10 years. The physical origin of memory window enlargement is clarified to be charge trapping at the Al2O3/Hf0.5Zr0.5O2 interface, which has an opposite charge polarity to the trapped charges at the Hf0.5Zr0.5O2/SiOx interface., Comment: 3 pages,6 figures

In the field of intracity freight transportation, changes in order volume are significantly influenced by temporal and spatial factors. When building subsidy and pricing strategies, predicting the causal effects of these strategies on order volume is crucial. In the process of calculating causal effects, confounding variables can have an impact. Traditional methods to control confounding variables handle data from a holistic perspective, which cannot ensure the precision of causal effects in specific temporal and spatial dimensions. However, temporal and spatial dimensions are extremely critical in the logistics field, and this limitation may directly affect the precision of subsidy and pricing strategies. To address these issues, this study proposes a technique based on flexible temporal-spatial grid partitioning. Furthermore, based on the flexible grid partitioning technique, we further propose a continuous entropy balancing method in the temporal-spatial domain, which named TS-EBCT (Temporal-Spatial Entropy Balancing for Causal Continue Treatments). The method proposed in this paper has been tested on two simulation datasets and two real datasets, all of which have achieved excellent performance. In fact, after applying the TS-EBCT method to the intracity freight transportation field, the prediction accuracy of the causal effect has been significantly improved. In this work, we extend the analysis of the pion axioproduction, $aN \to \pi{N}$, to include the impact of the Roper resonance $N^*(1440)$ together the previously studied $\Delta(1232)$ resonance. Our theoretical framework is chiral perturbation theory with explicit resonance fields to account for their respective impacts. We find that the Roper resonance also leads to an enhancement of the cross section within its energy range for various axion models. This enhancement provided by the Roper maintains stability even when the parameter $\sin^2{\beta}$ of the DFSZ model undergoes variations. In contrast, the enhancement given by the $\Delta$ gradually diminishes and finally disappears as $\sin^2{\beta}$ approaches $1$. Furthermore, the resonance peaks given by the $\Delta$ are approximately the same in both the KSVZ model and the DFSZ model with $\sin^2{\beta} = \tfrac{1}{2}$, while the resonance peak given by the Roper in the former model is much more pronounced.

This paper focuses on activity retrieval from a video query in an imbalanced scenario. In current query-by-activity-video literature, a common assumption is that all activities have sufficient labelled examples when learning an embedding. This assumption does however practically not hold, as only a portion of activities have many examples, while other activities are only described by few examples. In this paper, we propose a visual-semantic embedding network that explicitly deals with the imbalanced scenario for activity retrieval. Our network contains two novel modules. The visual alignment module performs a global alignment between the input video and fixed-sized visual bank representations for all activities. The semantic module performs an alignment between the input video and fixed-sized semantic activity representations. By matching videos with both visual and semantic activity representations that are of equal size over all activities, we no longer ignore infrequent activities during retrieval. The coexistence of antiferromagnetic and ferromagnetic order at room temperature in single-phase van der Waals materials, particularly within the two-dimensional limit, has attracted significant research interest. Nonetheless, such materials are rare. In this work, we introduce an itinerant van der Waals antiferromagnet (Fe0.56Co0.44)5GeTe2, where the ferromagnetic order of its exfoliated flakes remains discernible up to room temperature, extending down to the monolayer limit. A notable phenomenon observed is the evident odd-even layer-number effect at high temperature (e.g., T = 150 K). Such behaviour can be expounded by a linear-chain model. Of particular interest is the robust ferromagnetic order observed in even-layer flakes at low temperature (e.g., T = 2 K), which could potentially be attributed to spin-polarized defects. High Dynamic Range (HDR) images can be recovered from several Low Dynamic Range (LDR) images by existing Deep Neural Networks (DNNs) techniques. Despite the remarkable progress, DNN-based methods still generate ghosting artifacts when LDR images have saturation and large motion, which hinders potential applications in real-world scenarios. To address this challenge, we formulate the HDR deghosting problem as an image generation that leverages LDR features as the diffusion model's condition, consisting of the feature condition generator and the noise predictor. Feature condition generator employs attention and Domain Feature Alignment (DFA) layer to transform the intermediate features to avoid ghosting artifacts. With the learned features as conditions, the noise predictor leverages a stochastic iterative denoising process for diffusion models to generate an HDR image by steering the sampling process. Furthermore, to mitigate semantic confusion caused by the saturation problem of LDR images, we design a sliding window noise estimator to sample smooth noise in a patch-based manner. In addition, an image space loss is proposed to avoid the color distortion of the estimated HDR results. We empirically evaluate our model on benchmark datasets for HDR imaging. The core-collapse supernova (CCSN) is considered one of the most energetic astrophysical events in the universe. The early and prompt detection of neutrinos before (pre-SN) and during the supernova (SN) burst presents a unique opportunity for multi-messenger observations of CCSN events. In this study, we describe the monitoring concept and present the sensitivity of the system to pre-SN and SN neutrinos at the Jiangmen Underground Neutrino Observatory (JUNO), a 20 kton liquid scintillator detector currently under construction in South China. The real-time monitoring system is designed to ensure both prompt alert speed and comprehensive coverage of progenitor stars. It incorporates prompt monitors on the electronic board as well as online monitors at the data acquisition stage. Assuming a false alert rate of 1 per year, this monitoring system exhibits sensitivity to pre-SN neutrinos up to a distance of approximately 1.6 (0.9) kiloparsecs and SN neutrinos up to about 370 (360) kiloparsecs for a progenitor mass of 30 solar masses, considering both normal and inverted mass ordering scenarios. The pointing ability of the CCSN is evaluated by analyzing the accumulated event anisotropy of inverse beta decay interactions from pre-SN or SN neutrinos. Fusing Radar and Lidar sensor data can fully utilize their complementary advantages and provide more accurate reconstruction of the surrounding for autonomous driving systems. Surround Radar/Lidar can provide 360-degree view sampling with the minimal cost, which are promising sensing hardware solutions for autonomous driving systems. However, due to the intrinsic physical constraints, the rotating speed of surround Radar, and thus the frequency to generate Radar data frames, is much lower than surround Lidar. Existing Radar/Lidar fusion methods have to work at the low frequency of surround Radar, which cannot meet the high responsiveness requirement of autonomous driving systems.This paper develops techniques to fuse surround Radar/Lidar with working frequency only limited by the faster surround Lidar instead of the slower surround Radar, based on the state-of-the-art object detection model MVDNet. The basic idea of our approach is simple: we let MVDNet work with temporally unaligned data from Radar/Lidar, so that fusion can take place at any time when a new Lidar data frame arrives, instead of waiting for the slow Radar data frame. However, directly applying MVDNet to temporally unaligned Radar/Lidar data greatly degrades its object detection accuracy. The key information revealed in this paper is that we can achieve high output frequency with little accuracy loss by enhancing the training procedure to explore the temporal redundancy in MVDNet so that it can tolerate the temporal unalignment of input data. We explore several different ways of training enhancement and compare them quantitatively with experiments.
