A directory of selected managed care providers in the US is provided. These include preferred provider organizations, health maintenance organizations and point-of-service contracts. The directory is composed of 2000 firms that are alphabetically arranged and are subdivided by state. It includes various information such as business address, operational date, areas covered and the contact person.

An alphabetical listing of health maintenance organizations, preferred provider organizations and point-of-service contract providers for each of the 51 states, Guam and Puerto Rico is presented. The information given in the 1995/1996 directory includes the firms' names, addresses, telephone and fax numbers, personnel, facilities, locations and finances.

The health maintenance organizations (HMOs) and point-of-service (POS) plans in the US are listed. HMOs and POS plans from Alabama to Wisconsin are included in the list include CIGNA Managed Care Network-Alabama, Complete Health Services Inc., Aetna Health Plans of Arizona Inc., Prudential Plus of Little Rock and Wausau Preferred Health Plans.

The annual directory of health maintenance organizations (HMOs) is presented for 1993. The directory, a state-by-state guide of HMOs, includes such information as the provider's address and telephone/facsimile numbers, and the number of physicians and specialists, hospitals and users in the HMO. Information on ownership, service area, services and management also is included.

The 1992 Business Insurance directory of health maintenance organizations is an alphabetical listing of health maintenance organizations (HMO) by state. Each HMO listing gives the address of the organization, telephone and facsimile numbers, staff, additional locations, users, service area, operational date, enrollment options, services, rating options, billing, model type, parent company and officers.
