Thông tư số 10/2021/TT-BYT quy định một số thuốc hạ glucose máu, như metformin hydroclorid, là các chất cấm trộn lẫn trong chế phẩm có nguồn gốc từ dược liệu. Do đó, mục tiêu nghiên cứu này là xây dựng quy trình phát hiện năm loại hoạt chất hạ glucose máu, gồm metformin hydroclorid, glibenclamid, gliclazid, glimepirid và glipizid, trộn lẫn trong chế phẩm có nguồn gốc dược liệu bằng phương pháp sắc ký lỏng hiệu năng cao (HPLC). Chúng tôi đã xây dựng được chương trình sắc ký gồm hệ pha động methanol:đệm phosphat pH 3 với tỷ lệ 30/70 (v/v), cột sắc ký C18 (250 × 4,6 mm, 5 μm), và thời gian phân tích 25 phút. Phương pháp thẩm định có tính đặc hiệu cao, độ đúng, độ lặp lại và độ tái lặp cao, đạt yêu cầu theo AOAC. Chúng tôi đã phát hiện bảy mẫu chế phẩm dược liệu dương tính trong đó sáu mẫu dương tính với glibenclamid và một mẫu dương tính đồng thời với metformin và glibenclamid.

Vật liệu graphen oxit (GO) được tổng hợp bằng phương pháp Hummer cải tiến và biến tính với mangan đioxit (MnO2) bằng phương pháp hóa học để thu được vật liệu tổ hợp MnO2/GO. Một số tính chất đặc trưng của vật liệu tổ hợp được đánh giá bằng phổ hồng ngoại, phổ UV-Vis, hiển vi điện tử quét kết hợp với quang phổ tán xạ năng lượng tia X và ảnh mapping. Các thông số trong phương pháp điện di lắng đọng (EPD) như pH, thế điện phân, thời gian điện phân, nồng độ clorua natri và khối lượng vật liệu tổ hợp đã được nghiên cứu. Vật liệu MnO2/GO có khả năng loại màu và nhu cầu oxy hóa học của xanh metylen với hiệu suất 99,64 và 85,85% với phương pháp EPD. Kết quả cho thấy tiềm năng của của phương pháp EPD kết hợp với vật liệu MnO2/GO để loại bỏ chất màu hữu cơ trong môi trường nước.

Chất lượng nước (CLN) sông Hương được đánh giá sơ bộ qua so sánh các thông số quan trắc với quy định kỹ thuật Việt Nam về CLN mặt. Tiếp theo, CLN sông được đánh giá qua Chỉ số chất lượng nước (WQI). Phương pháp phân tích thành phần chính (PCA) được áp dụng cho dữ liệu CLN sông giai đoạn 2017–2020 để xác định trọng số (wi) của thông số CLN i trong tính toán WQI. Chỉ số chất lượng nước được tính từ cả trọng số và chỉ số phụ (qi). Các thông số được lựa chọn để tính WQI gồm (n = 11): pH, EC (độ dẫn điện), DO, TSS, BOD5, COD, N-NH4+, N-NO3–, P-PO43–, Fe (tổng sắt tan) và TC (tổng coliform). Các thông số đó được quan trắc ở 8–10 vị trí trong 4–5 đợt (tháng 2, 5, 8 và 11). Kết quả cho thấy, 95% các giá trị WQI nằm trong khoảng 90–100, ứng với CLN loại ‘tốt’ và ‘rất tốt’; chỉ 5% các giá trị WQI nằm trong khoảng 49–77 (chủ yếu vào tháng 11/2020), ứng với CLN loại ‘xấu’ đến ‘tốt’. Vào mùa mưa lũ, nồng độ TSS và Fe tăng lên, nồng độ DO giảm, dẫn đến làm giảm WQI. Chất lượng nước sông không khác nhau có ý nghĩa thống kê theo không gian/vị trí quan trắc (p > 0,05) với WQI trung vị 97–100 nhưng khác nhau theo thời gian: năm 2017 và 2019 có WQI trung vị (99) lớn hơn năm 2018 và 2020 (WQI trung vị 97) với p < 0,01.

Development of adsorptive stripping voltammetry (AdSV) combined with in situ prepared bismuth film electrode (in situ BiFE) on glassy carbon disk surface using diethylenetriamine pentaacetic acid (DTPA) as a complexing agent and NO3- as a catalyst to determine the trace amount of chromium (VI) is demonstrated. According to this method, in the preconcentration step at Edep = -800 mV, the bismuth film is coated on the surface of glassy carbon electrodes simultaneously with the adsorption of complexes Cr(III)-DTPA. In addition to the influencing factors, the stripping voltammetry performance factors such as deposition potential, deposition time, equilibration time, cleaning potential, cleaning time, and technical parameters of differential pulse and square wave voltammetries have been investigated, and the influence of Cr(III), Co(II), Ni(II), Ca(II), Fe(III), SO42-, Cl-, and Triton X has also been investigated. This method gained good repeatability with RSD <4% (n = 9) for the differential pulse adsorptive stripping voltammetry (DP-AdSV) and RSD < 3% (n = 7) for the square wave adsorptive stripping voltammetry (SqW-AdSV), and low limit of detection: LOD = 12.10-9 M ≈ 0.6 ppb (at a deposition potential (Edep) of -800 mV and the deposition time (tdep) of 50 s) and LOD = 2.10-9 M ≈ 0.1 ppb (at Edep = -800 mV and tdep = 160 s) for the DP-AdSV and SqW-AdSV, respectively. The synthesis of magnetic iron oxide/reduced graphene oxide (Fe3O4/rGO) and its application to the electrochemical determination of paracetamol using Fe3O4/rGO modified electrode were demonstrated. The obtained materials were characterized by means of X-ray diffraction (XRD), nitrogen adsorption/desorption isotherms, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), transmission electron microscope (TEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), and magnetic measurement. The results showed that Fe3O4/rGO composite exhibited high specific surface area, and its morphology consists of very fine spherical particles of Fe3O4 in nanoscales. Fe3O4/rGO was used as an electrode modifier for the determination of paracetamol by differential pulse-anodic stripping voltammetry (DP-ASV). The preparation of Fe3O4/rGO-based electrode and some factors affecting voltammetric responses were investigated. The results showed that Fe3O4/rGO is a potential electrode modifier for paracetamol detection by DP-ASV with a low limit of detection. The interfering effect of uric acid, ascorbic acid, and dopamine on the current response of paracetamol has been reported. The repeatability, reproducibility, linear range, and limit of detection were also addressed. The proposed method could be applied to the real samples with satisfactory results. The concentrations of seven toxic metals (cadmium (Cd), nickel (Ni), chromium (Cr), arsenic (As), lead (Pb), copper (Cu), and zinc (Zn)) were determined in sediments and the soft tissues of a bivalve species ( Meretrix lyrata) collected from the Tien Estuary in Tien Giang Province, South Vietnam. The total metal concentrations in sediments (mg/kg dry weight) increased as Cd (0.06) < Cu (5.0) < Pb (13.9) < As (16.3) < Ni (24) < Cr (50) < Zn (62). Speciation analysis revealed that these metals existed mainly in the residual fraction (43-94%), followed by the Fe-Mn oxide-bound (5-35%) and organic/sulfide-bound (0.6-9.2%) fractions. The metal concentrations in M. lyrata (mg/kg dry weight) were in the ranges of 1.3-1.9 (Cd), 1.5-2.8 (Ni), 1.8-3.4 (Cr), 11-16 (As), 0.3-0.6 (Pb), 6.9-8.7 (Cu), and 95-128 (Zn), which are safe for human consumption. The order of the mean biota-sediment accumulation factor (BSAF) of the metals in the non-residual fractions of the sediment for M. lyrata was Cd > Cu > As > Zn > Cr > Ni > Pb. The Risk Assessment Codes (RACs) suggest that the highest mobility of Cd (with RAC = 37%) poses greater environmental risk to aquatic biota. Correlation analysis results show that M. lyrata can be used as a biomonitor of Cd and Cu pollution in the exchangeable, acid-soluble, and non-residual sediment fractions. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
