Reconstructing the locomotion of extinct vertebrates offers insights into their palaeobiology and helps to conceptualize major transitions in vertebrate evolution.sup.1-4. However, estimating the locomotor behaviour of a fossil species remains a challenge because of the limited information preserved and the lack of a direct correspondence between form and function.sup.5,6. The evolution of advanced locomotion on land--that is, locomotion that is more erect, balanced and mechanically power-saving than is assumed of anamniote early tetrapods--has previously been linked to the terrestrialization and diversification of amniote lineages.sup.7. To our knowledge, no reconstructions of the locomotor characteristics of stem amniotes based on multiple quantitative methods have previously been attempted: previous methods have relied on anatomical features alone, ambiguous locomotor information preserved in ichnofossils or unspecific modelling of locomotor dynamics. Here we quantitatively examine plausible gaits of the stem amniote Orobates pabsti, a species that is known from a complete body fossil preserved in association with trackways.sup.8. We reconstruct likely gaits that match the footprints, and investigate whether Orobates exhibited locomotor characteristics that have previously been linked to the diversification of crown amniotes. Our integrative methodology uses constraints derived from biomechanically relevant metrics, which also apply to extant tetrapods. The framework uses in vivo assessment of locomotor mechanics in four extant species to guide an anatomically informed kinematic simulation of Orobates, as well as dynamic simulations and robotics to filter the parameter space for plausible gaits. The approach was validated using two extant species that have different morphologies, gaits and footprints. Our metrics indicate that Orobates exhibited more advanced locomotion than has previously been assumed for earlier tetrapods.sup.7,9, which suggests that advanced terrestrial locomotion preceded the diversification of crown amniotes. Many intentionally vulnerable web applications are circulating on the Internet that serve as a legal test ground for practicing SQL injection attacks. For demonstration purposes the attacks will target an Acunetix test web application created using PHP programming language and MySQL relational database. In the practical part, the execution of the attack itself largely depends on the database management system, so the displayed syntax is intended only for the MySQL database management system. Example of an automated attack will be executed on SQLmap in a Linux Kali virtualized environment. Security guidelines with a purpose of protecting databases are also discussed.

Prirodni plin izbio je u prvi plan javnosti, poduzeća i pojedinaca zbog nedavnih geopolitičkih zbivanja u Europi, ali i zbog činjenice da je riječ o iznimno čistom, ekonomičnom i donedavno povoljnom izvoru energije. Prikazat će se ukupna povijesna potrošnja prirodnog plina u Republici Hrvatskoj, koji su dobavni pravci iz Europe, proizvodni i skladišni kapaciteti te koji pravilnici i zakoni reguliraju njihov rad. Podaci će se prikupljati putem javno dostupnih podataka regulatornih agencija, sustava i portala zaduženih za transport plina u Republici Hrvatskoj, srednjoj i istočnoj Europi. Cilj je prikazati strukturu unosa plina u plinski sustav Republike Hrvatske, funkcioniranje samog plinskog sustava, objasniti potencijal opskrbe plinom s osvrtom na LNG terminal te prikazati i analizirati potrošnju plina u državi. Svi navedeni zaključci poslužit će kao prijedlozi za unapređenje plinskog transportnog sustava Republike Hrvatske te koji su kratkoročni i direktni utjecaji na transportni sustav te što se može očekivati u idućoj plinskoj godini. Buduća istraživanja mogu obuhvatiti utjecaj povećanja korištenja LNG-a na cijene plina za kućanstva i poduzeća u Republici Hrvatskoj

Rad opisuje na koji su način sukobljene supersile u Hladnom ratu koristile medij filma za vođenje političkog rata te u kojoj su mjeri time utjecale na razvoj filmske umjetnosti. Temeljni pojam istraživan u vidu političkog ratovanja je propaganda. Rad daje pregled glavnih metoda plasiranja političkih poruka s ciljem propagiranja određene ideologije, te aktera koji su sudjelovali u procesu stvaranja i provedbe. Hladni rat je podijeljen u četiri etape, u kojima su nakon povijesnog pregleda ključnih karakteristika, a sukladno količini propagandnih aktivnosti u periodu, analizirani filmovi SAD-a i SSSR-a. Rad daje širi pregled dinamike korištenja propagande u filmovima tijekom dugotrajnog političkog sukoba te analizira koliko je ona utjecala na razvoj određene grane kulture., The paper describes how the conflicted superpowers in the Cold War used the medium of film to wage political war and to what extent they influenced the development of the art of film. The basic concept explored in the form of political warfare is propaganda. The paper provides an overview of the main methods of placing political messages with the aim of propagating a certain ideology, as well as the actors who participated in the process of creation and implementation. The Cold War was divided into four stages, in which, after a historical review of key characteristics, and in accordance with the amount of propaganda activities in the period, films of the United States and the USSR were analyzed. The paper provides a broader overview of the dynamics of the use of propaganda in films during a long political conflict and analyzes the extent to which it has influenced the development of a particular branch of culture.

The article presents the application of simulation tools through the example of operation and failure in a real power grid. The history of simulations dates back to the early 1940s. With the development of digital computers and advanced software, simulations are finding more and more application. With well-modeled elements of the simulated system, it is possible to analyze the operation as well as test the system in different situations in order to predict the possible consequences of disturbances in the operation of the system. By connecting this modeled system with a real system, and entering real data and events in real time, the concept of digital twins combined with machine learning was created, with the aim of finding optimal strategies that will result in appropriate decisions and actions depending on process changes.

Predviđanje sportskih procesa, vršeno na temelju iskustva ili znanja o određenom procesu i korištenjem informacija o događaju, zanimljivo je široj javnosti u vidu sportskog klađenja, a dostupnošću velikih količina podataka sve češće postaje i tema znanstvenih istraživanja. Osim uobičajenih statističkih metoda za analizu podataka, koristi se i strojno učenje kako bi se ostvarili što bolji rezultati predviđanja sportskih ishoda. Rezultati znanstvenih istraživanja o sportskim događajima posebno su zanimljivi ekspertima, trenerima, sportskim menadžerima i upravama sportskih klubova koji ih koriste u svrhu vrednovanja učinka igrača i momčadi, kod odabira igrača, identifikacije sportskih talenata, definiranja novih strategija, itd. U disertaciji je tema istraživanja primjena metoda strojnog učenja u predviđanju sportskih ishoda. Osim pruženog detaljnog uvida u dostupnu literaturu i trenutna postignuća u području, napravljena je i analiza znanstvenih radova i ostvarenih rezultata istraživanja te analiza dostupnih podataka o sportskim događajima kako bi se identificiralo značajke od interesa za izradu modela predviđanja sportskih ishoda. U radu su opisani postojeći indeksi korisnosti te je predložen sveobuhvatni indeks korisnosti prilagodljiv različitim sportovima koji predstavlja temelj predložene metode. Ispitana je hipoteza da za učinkovit model nije potrebno poznavanje cijele povijesti, već je dovoljno pronaći reprezentativni dio povijesti koji se u ovom slučaju naziva optimalnim vremenskim prozorom. Također, zaključeno je kako je događaje moguće klasificirati u različite kategorije kako bi se primjenom prilagodljive metode predviđanja dobili još bolji rezultati. U radu je predstavljen sveobuhvatni indeks korisnosti kojim se može, ovisno o konkretnom problemu, vrednovati učinak igrača ili momčadi, a koji se u kasnijim fazama koristi kao početna točka predviđanja ishoda. Predložen je i postupak optimiranja parametara sveobuhvatnog indeksa korisnosti korištenjem kombinacije linearnih i nelinearnih doprinosa, a predstavljen je i algoritam izračuna i prilagodbe optimalnog vremenskog prozora sa svrhom ograničavanja doprinosa događaja iz daleke prošlosti. Sam postupak optimiranja je iterativan, a osim pronalaska optimalnog doprinosa, uključuje i postupak definiranja redoslijeda optimizacije skupa korištenih značajki. Optimalni vremenski prozor predstavlja kontinuirani vremenski period koji se koristi u svrhu određivanja relevantnosti statističkih podataka o prethodnim događajima s ciljem pronalaska podskupa skupa za učenje koji najbolje opisuje trenutno stanje analiziranog procesa, a da pritom ne doprinosi posljedičnom smanjenju rezultata predviđanja. U radu je predložen način izračuna optimalnog vremenskog prozora na temelju prosječnog učinka ili prosječnog indeksa korisnosti. Proces izračuna i prilagodbe optimalnog vremenskog prozora uključuje dva koraka. Jedan je 131 izračun početnog vremenskog prozora, a drugi je prilagodba vremenskog prozora na eventualne promjene. U svrhu poboljšanja rezultata predviđanja predložen je i način identifikacije događaja povećane neizvjesnosti. Događaji povećane neizvjesnosti omogućuju primjenu prilagodljivog postupka u vidu određivanja razine složenosti i načina predviđanja s konačnim ciljem poboljšanja rezultata predviđanja. Predloženi model ispitan je korištenjem skupa podataka o utakmicama NBA lige. Although the sporting process prediction, which is based on the experience or knowledge of a particular process and the use of information about the event, is interesting to the general public mainly in the form of sports betting, the availability of large data amounts is increasingly becoming a topic of scientific research. Currently, in addition to the application of common statistical methods to analyze the available data, machine learning is used to achieve the best possible results in predicting sports outcomes. Scientific research results on sporting events are of particular interest to experts, coaches, sports managers and the management of sports clubs who use them to evaluate the players’ and team’s performance, to select players, to identify sporting talents, to define new strategies, etc. The research topic of the dissertation pertains to the application of machine learning methods in predicting sports outcomes. In addition to providing a detailed insight into the available literature and the current achievements in the field, an analysis of scientific papers and research results was carried out, together with an analysis of the available data on sporting events, all in order to identify the features of interest for the development of models for predicting sports outcomes. The dissertation describes the existing efficiency indexes, specific to individual sports, which are used to assess the players’ and team’s performance; and it proposes a comprehensive efficiency index which can be used to assess performance in different sports. The proposed comprehensive efficiency index is the basis of the proposed predicting method. The hypothesis that was tested states that an effective model does not require the knowledge of the entire history, but that it is enough to find a representative part of history and use it to make predictions with satisfactory accuracy, which is achieved by applying the optimal time window. In the proposed method, the time window, in addition to being determined before the beginning of the application, is adjusted on the basis of the data present during the application itself, i.e. during the testing of the model. The dissertation presents a comprehensive efficiency index which can, depending on the specific problem, evaluate the players’ or team’s performance, and which is to be used in the later stages as a starting point for predicting the outcome. A procedure of optimizing the parameters of the comprehensive efficiency index by using a combination of linear and nonlinear contributions is also proposed, and an algorithm for calculating and adjusting the optimal time window is presented in order to limit the event contribution from the distant past. The goal of the optimization process 133 is to reduce the dimensionality problem by identifying irrelevant and redundant features for the purpose of faster and more efficient execution of the prediction algorithm. The optimization process is iterative, and in addition to finding the optimal contribution, it also includes the process of defining the order of the optimization of the used set of features. The optimal time window is a continuous period used to determine the relevance of the statistical data of previous events. The goal of the optimal time window is to find a training subset that best describes the current state of the analyzed process, without consequently reducing the prediction results. The dissertation proposes a method of calculating the optimal time window based on the average process performance or average process efficiency index. The process of calculating and adjusting the optimal time window involves two steps – one is to define the initial time window, and the other is to adjust the time window in case of any changes. The proposed model was evaluated by using the NBA league game dataset.

One of the main goals of the management of companies focused on production activities is the constant growth and development of the company and the emphasis is not necessarily on financial indicators. Some of the more important objectives include increasing the number of employees, introducing a new product line, greater employee education, and increased cooperation between functions. Traditional and agile management are often mentioned approaches that are applied in companies, and it is important to understand their theoretical framework in order for them to be adequately applied in business growth. Numerous economic theorists, in addition to emphasizing the importance of management, quality communication and process execution, also point out cross- functional knowledge and communication as vital in achieving the company's business goals. All functions within the company meet with an extremely dynamic economy and an environment in which they perform many day-to-day activities In this paper we will use the example of a large agricultural company to describe the cross- functional collaboration during the process of introducing and developing new labels or modifying existing labels for finished products that are exported to the foreign markets. The empirical research offers an overview of the current situation on quality and the level of cross- functional cooperation between employees working in procurement, sales, production, logistic department and warehouse operations. Based on that study, adequate measures and activities will be presented, which could improve communication between key teams for the development of new products at no additional cost. The ultimate goal of developing cooperation between various functions is the long-term improvement of the company's business operations.

The modern function of procurement has become rather complex. It is never separated from other functions ; it has an increasingly dynamic communication with all the company’s functions and is strongly connected with them. Pro curement of inputs for production and contracting of services represent only a small part of the entire business operation, regardless of whether it was an operational or strategic procurement. It is precise because of dynamic business operations that operational and strategic procurement are often combined into a single function that aims to address the current challenges. Savings in the procurement of goods and services has ceased to be the primary goal. Today, the additional objective is the development and maintenance of partnerships with all suppliers. This paper aims to present the theoretical framework of procurement and the determinants of well-organized procurement. First, we will explain the importance of procurement and communication, the difference between operational and strategic procurement, and the significance of creating partnerships. After that, we will present a study on the importance of procurement on a large agricultural company’s practical example during the Osijek dairy company’s take-over. Special attention was paid to interviewing procurement employees, production technologists, and warehouse workers regarding the new production plant’s take-over from purchasing the business, challenges they encountered, and suggestions of possible alternative approaches to future take- overs.

Za potrebe rada se proučila stručna literatura koja se bavi organizacijom i menadžmentom, ali su se odlično uklopila osobna iskustva autora iz realnog sektora.

Diplomski rad „Sustavi za upravljanje učinkovitošću“ (eng. performance management systems) podijeljen je u dvije osnovne cjeline: teoretski dio i praktični dio. Teoretskim dijelom razložena je tematika sustava za upravljanje učinkovitošću, čemu služe, kako izgledaju i koji su modeli sustava najčešće u upotrebi. U sklopu razrade modela sustava opisane su tri najčešće metode, odnosno pristupa upravljanju učinkovitošću: KPI, Six Sigma i BSC. Praktičnim dijelom rada je, na primjeru poduzeća Amazon.com, istraženo da li implementacija sustava za upravljanje učinkovitošću i u praksi rezultira poboljšanjem poslovne učinkovitosti poduzeća. Na temelju pretpostavke da profitabilno poduzeće teži ostvarenju profita i da će stoga tretirati učinkovitim sustav za upravljanje učinkovitošću ukoliko isti pozitivno utječe na financijske rezultate poduzeća formirana je hipoteza da implementacija sustava za upravljanje učinkovitošću može rezultirati i poboljšanjem financijskog položaja poduzeća što će se moći iščitati iz financijskih izvješća. Kako bi se hipoteza provjerila postavljen je cilj analizirati godišnja financijska izvješća poduzeća Amazon.com za period od jedanaest godina koji je odabran na način da obuhvati tri godine prije početka primjene sustava za upravljanje učinkovitošću, tri analitičarima predviđene implementacijske godine i pet godina nakon što je predviđeno da bi implementacijski proces trebao biti završen. Analizom financijskih izvješća poduzeća (bilanca stanja i izvještaj o poslovanju) za odabrana razdoblja ustvrđeno je da je poduzeće kroz implementacijski period ostvarilo značajan pad u poslovnim rezultatima, ukupnoj imovini i financijskim prinosima dioničara u odnosu na pred implementacijski period, a što se poboljšalo i čemu se rast stabilizirao u predviđenom post implementacijskom periodu. Na temelju iste izvučen je zaključak da je postavljena hipoteza potvrđena. The thesis "Performance Management Systems" is divided into two basic units: the theoretical part and the practical part. The theoretical part explains the topic of performance management systems, what they serve, what they look like and what systems models are most commonly used. As part of the system model development, three common methods, namely approaches to performance management, are described: KPI, Six Sigma, and BSC. The practical part of the paper explored whether the implementation of an efficiency management system and in-practice results improved business efficiency of the company on the example of Amazon.com. On the assumption that a profitable enterprise aspires to make a profit and will therefore treat a performance management system as effective if it has a positive effect on the financial performance of the company, it is hypothesized that the implementation of the performance management system may also result in an improvement in the financial position of the company, which can be read from the financial reports. To test the hypothesis, the goal was to analyze the annual financial statements of Amazon.com for a period of eleven years, selected to include three years before the implementation of the performance management system, three implementation years foreseen by analysts and five years after the forecasted completion of the implementation process. The analysis of the financial statements of the company (balance sheet and operating report) for the selected periods revealed that, during the implementation period, the company recorded a significant decrease in business results, total assets and financial returns of shareholders in comparison to the pre-implementation period but these factors improved and established a stable growth in the post implementation period as was predicted by the company analysts. Based on this, it was concluded that the hypothesis is confirmed.

31. Importance of the training dataset length in basketball game outcome prediction by using naive classification machine learning methods

The focus of the paper is on using naive machine learning algorithms for predicting the NBA game outcomes. In order to complete a convincing result, the data of nine full NBA seasons are scraped for the proposed model training and result evaluation. The aim of the paper is to present the possibilities of naive machine learning methods and to define the length of the training phase as well as of the evaluation phase to be optimal for predicting the NBA games outcome. The research serves as an initial stage in the development of a doctoral dissertation on the outcome prediction in sport. The proposed supervised classification machine learning methods is used and two possible outcomes (win or loss) are predicted. The data segmentation is used as an evaluation method for a training dataset occurring chronologically prior to the testing dataset. The best results are achieved by using a single training season and one to three evaluation seasons and all the played games during the training phase.

- Abstract
Robotic technologies, whether they are remotely operated vehicles, autonomous agents, assistive devices, or novel control interfaces, offer many promising capabilities for deployment in real world environments. Post-disaster scenarios are a particularly relevant target for applying such technologies, due to the challenging conditions faced by rescue workers and the possibility to increase their efficacy while decreasing the risks they face. However, field deployable technologies for rescue work have requirements for robustness, speed, versatility, and ease of use that may not be matched by the state of the art in robotics research. This paper aims to survey the current state of the art in ground and aerial robots, marine and amphibious systems, and human-robot control interfaces and assess the readiness of these technologies with respect to the needs of first responders and disaster recovery efforts. We have gathered expert opinions from emergency response stakeholders and researchers who conduct field deployments with them in order to understand these needs, and we present this assessment as a way to guide future research toward technologies that will make an impact in real world disaster response and recovery.

Ovaj rad promatra mogućnosti primjene dizalica topline u industrijskim procesima. Promatra se proces destilacijske kolone (deizopentanizera) te integraciju dizalice topline u taj proces. Razmatra se integracija više vrsta dizalica topline, prvenstveno dizalica topline s vanjskim radnim medijem (korištenjem više vrsta radnih medija) te dizalica topline s rekompresijom vršnih para. Cilj je odrediti toplinski koeficijent pumpi te odrediti ima li ekonomske računice kod integracije dizalica topline. Prethodna istraživanja potvrdila su ekonomsku isplativost integracije dizalica topline na jednostavnijim primjerima destilacijske kolone (kod separacije ekvimolarnih smjesa propan/propen te separacije smjese izobutan/n-butan). Ovdje se promatra industrijska izvedba procesa separacije smjese izopentan/n-pentan ne samo s ekonomskog aspekta, već i s termodinamičkog aspekta, što je također nešto što se nije uzimalo u obzir kod prethodnih istraživanja. This paper examines the possibilities of using heat pumps in industrial processes. The process of the distillation column (deisopentaniser) and the integration of heat pumps in this process are being studied. The integration of multiple types of heat pumps is considered, preferably heat pumps with refridgerants (operating using multiple types of refridgerants) and the heat pump with vapour recompression. The aim is to determine the coefficient of performance and determine if there is an economic viability in heat pump integration. Previous studies have confirmed the economic viability of the heat pump integration on the simpler examples of the distillation column (with separation of equimolar mixtures of propane/propene and separation of the isobutane/n-butane mixture). Here is an example from industry considering the separation process of the isopentane/n-pentane mixture not only from an economic point of view, but also from a thermodynamic aspect, which is also something that has not been taken into account in the previous researches.

The paper presents current version of information system and describes the possibilities of the information system, starting with the architecture up to the individual parts of the information system. The paper also explains a display of a custom menu and user- defined player efficiency index.

All functions within the company, regardless of its size and activity, meet with an extremely dynamic economy and an environment in which they perform many day-to-day activities. In that sense, procurement is no different. It no longer serves only the purpose of ordering goods or services at the request of production at the lowest possible prices. Today's modern procurement systems offer solutions, improvements and thoughts on all aspects of business operations in which they are involved. There is a special emphasis on the dynamic resolution of challenging situations, which lies in unpredictable circumstances and crisis. The procurement department always works closely with other functions that directly affect production, and this is where extremely dynamic, high-quality and timely communication is expected. Communication with functions within the company is followed by communication with partners, where procurement becomes a sort of link between production and suppliers. Members of the procurement team are in most cases representatives of their companies, and it is based on their communication skills, behaviour and decisions that the image of the company is created among partners. Quality and timely communication of procurement team members with partners can play a key role for the continuation of production in turbulent market situations. Managers must organize all procurement processes in a quality manner, as well as motivate, educate and reward members of the procurement department. With their comments, opinions, advice and experience, partners offer an additional perspective, solution and an alternative path in the further planning of steps which would help achieve all of company's objectives. Experienced management, especially in times of crisis, use all possible information to make quality decisions, but also learn from these situations in order to make all possible preparations in regular business operations to minimize the shock that a new crisis could cause. The theoretical part of the paper will present a description of the concept of procurement business, management and crisis management, business and crisis communication, creating partnerships, and maintaining the company's image. The empirical research, conducted through questionnaires which were filled in by employees from the procurement department in the Republic of Croatia, provides us with answers about the importance of partnerships, with a special emphasis on the current coronavirus pandemic. In conclusion, we have explained proposals for improving and maintaining partnerships in the procurement business during crisis, as well as in regular business situations. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Like-charge pairing of guanidinium (Gdm+) cations in side chains of arginine amino acids is responsible for numerous biologically important interactions, such as aggregation of poly- arginines at biological membranes. [1] Although the favorable Gdm+···Gdm+ interaction have been already reported in calculation studies [2], a solid experimental evidence for this interaction is still missing. In this study, we performed a Fourier transformed infrared spectroscopic (FTIR) study supported with calculation results and we demonstrate that certain FTIR spectral changes are attributed to like-charge pairing of Gdm+ cations in aqueous solutions (Figure 1, left). In contrast, we show that this effect does not exist in ammonium chloride solutions in same experimental conditions (Figure 1, right), thus confirming a counterintuitive Coulomb-defying interaction between positively charged Gdm+ ions in water.

Otpornost na elektrokemijsku koroziju ispitana je metodom impendancijske spektroskopije. Otpornost na adhezijsko trošenje ispitana je metodom „Block on Ring“. Površina uzoraka je analizirana primjenom skenirajuće elektronske mikroskopije (SEM). Ispitivanja su pokazala značajni utjecaj stanja površine (morfologije, hrapavosti i mikrostrukturnog stanja) na tribološka i korozijska svojstva legure Ti6Al4V

Dronedarone hydrochloride is an anti-arrhythmic drug for the regulation of cardiac arrhythmia. Dronedarone is a benzofuran containing heterocyclic compound and is a structural analog of amiodarone, but with slight structural modifications where the iodine group is replaced by a methane-sulfonyl group. The intention behind the replacement of iodine group is to reduce the risk of non-target organ adverse effects caused by amiodarone therapy. Microencapsulation is a process by which tiny droplets of liquid or solid material are coated with a continuous film of polymeric or lipid material. The size, structure and form of microcapsules depend on preparation techniques, materials used and the process conditions in which they were produced. One way of obtaining the microcapsules is spray drying. Due to its simplicity, flexibility and speed of production, spray-drying has found a wide application in the pharmaceutical industry. The aim of this study was to produce microcapsules of dronedarone hydrochloride with extended- release profile by spray drying. In this study three different encapsulation materials were used ; gum arabic, gelatin and cellulose acetate phthalate. Experiments were conducted in a laboratory spray-dryer. The influence of different process conditions on the quality of the obtained microcapsules (drying air temperature, flow rate of atomizing air) was tested. The effectiveness of microencapsulation process was tested spectrophotometrically by determining the content of dronedarone hydrochloride in microcapsules. The morphology of the microcapsules was tested using scanning electron microscope. Dronedarone hydrochloride release rates were obtained and described with appropriate kinetic models. The results indicate that diversity of coating materials and process conditions enables control of dronedarone hydrochloride release in microencapsulation process.

Pogon elektroenergetskih sustava postaje sve zahtjevnije s povećanom integracijom obnovljivih izvora energije, koji se često nadziru samo na daljinu. Stoga, njihova moderna upravljačka oprema treba omogućiti siguran rad, uz pružanje dovoljnih podataka za daljinski nadzor. U ovom se radu opisuje laboratorij za obnovljive izvore energije instaliran na Odjelu za elektrotehniku Sveučilišta Sjever. Središnji dio sustava je fotonaponska solarna elektrana u otočnom režimu rada sa četiri monokristalna i četiri polikristalna modula, dva odvojena regulatora punjenja te solarnim invertorom. Ugrađena kontrolna oprema omogućava daljinski nadzor i pohranu podataka o radu za naknadnu obradu i analizu.

Optimizacijom modela procesa destilacije ekvimolarne smjese propan-propen određeni su radni uvjeti koji vode do minimalne potrošnje energenata. Primjenom dizalica topline s rekompresijom vršnih para (VRC), odnosno vanjskom radnaom tvari (VC) u tako optimirani model destilacijske kolone određeni su odgovarajući investicijski i pogonski troškovi. Pri ekonomskoj analizi procesa korišteno je vrijeme amortizacije od 10 godina. Usporedbom dvaju načina primjena dizalica topline slijedi da se najveće uštede ostvaruju primjenom VRC tehnologije.

Bio-inspired robotic designs introducing and benefiting from morphological aspects present in animals allowed the generation of fast, robust, and energy-efficient locomotion. We used engineering tools and interdisciplinary knowledge transferred from biology to build low-cost robots, able to achieve a certain level of versatility. Serval, a compliant quadruped robot with actuated spine and high range of motion in all joints, was developed to address the question of what mechatronic complexity is needed to achieve rich motion skills. In our experiments, the robot presented a high level of versatility (number of skills) at medium speed, with a minimal control effort and, in this article, no usage of its spine. Implementing a basic kinematics-duplication from dogs, we found strengths to emphasize, weaknesses to correct, and made Serval ready for future attempts to achieve more agile locomotion. In particular, we investigated the following skills: walk, trot, gallop, bound (crouched), sidestep, turn with a radius, ascend slopes including flat ground transition, perform single and double step-downs, fall, trot over bumpy terrain, lie/sit down, and stand up. U radu je ispitana mogućnost povišenje otpornosti na trošenje legura Ti6Al4V primjenom prevlake PACVD TiN. Opisana su svojstva Ti6Al4V legure i podrobno objašnjeni razlozi njezine široke primjene u raznim granama industrije. Također, opisana su svojstva i karakteristike prevlake TiN. Ispitana su slijedeća svojstva prevlake PACVD TiN: adhezivnost (VDI 3198), debljina (kalotest), hrapavost, nanotvrdoća (Fischerscope) i otpornosti na adhezijsko trošenje metodom „Block On Ring“. Prevlaka TiN u odnosu na neprevučenu površinu legure Ti6Al4V pokazuje povišenje tvrdoće, hrapavosti, faktora trenja te značajno povišenje otpornosti na adhezijsko trošenje. This bachelor thesis questions the possibility of increasing the resistance to adhesive wear of titanium alloy Ti6Al4V by applying a PACVD TiN coating. Properties, characteristics and the the reasons of wide use of the alloy Ti6Al4V in various industries, are explained in detail. The properties and characteristics of the coating TiN are also well described. The following properties of the PACVD TiN coating were tested: adhesive wear (VDI 3198), thickness (calotest), roughness, nanohardness (Fischerscope) and the resistance to adhesive wear with „Block On Ring” method. TiN coating, in relation to non-coated surface of the alloy Ti6Al4V, shows increased hardness, increased roughness, higher coefficient of friction and a significant increase in the resistance to adhesion wear.
