ENVRI-FAIR is the connection of the ESFRI Cluster of Environmental Research Infrastructures (ENVRI) to the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC). The high-impact ambition of ENVRI-FAIR is to establish the technical preconditions for the successful implementation of a virtual, federated machine-to-machine interface to access environmental data and services provided by the contributing ENVRIs. This interface is called the ENVRI-Hub. Full integration of services across RIs and even subdomains is continuously progressing at ENVRIs with focus on environmental data and scientific research objectives. Each RI is specialized in a specific number of parameters related to its specific competences. For users that require a broader or the full spectrum of environmental parameters, the ENVRI-Hub will offer a platform that reflects the complexity and diversity of the ENVRI landscape, while preserving their specific structures and addressing the requirements they were designed for. The ENVRI-Hub will be a federated system of harmonized subdomain/RI-specific systems of data policies and management, access platforms and virtual research environments. The system will be completely open source, modular and scalable and build on the experience available in the consortium and already operational systems. Figure 1 shows the key features of the ENVRI-Hub. The ENVRI-Hub community metadata and data store is foreseen to be based on semantic web technology, ontologies, and open linked data, allowing integration of the vocabularies and metadata standards developed in the implementation work packages of ENVRI-FAIR. The cross-subdomain development will create large benefits in efficiency and robustness of the ENVRI-hub system. It will enable true interoperability of access to metadata and data objects across the RIs and subdomains and thus facilitate the development of (joint) higher-level services. By following a strict modular design, the developments can be (re-)used in the different RIs. All components should contain couplers to the EOSC services, like AAI, data storage solutions and catalogue of services, to enable the seamless integration of ENVRIs data and services into EOSC., The authors of this report were supported by the whole ENVRI-FAIR Task Force 6 Team.

A utilização excessiva e inadequada dos serviços de urgência pediátrica, nas últimas décadas, tem constituído uma fonte de preocupação para os profissionais de saúde, gestores, administradores hospitalares e governantes políticos. Na base desta preocupação estão diversos fatores, entre outros, o risco de comprometer a adequada assistência em situações graves face a uma sobrelotação, os escassos recursos humanos, os custos económicos acrescidos, a exposição a riscos epidemiológicos e, ainda, uma utilização inadequada face ao agir em função do superior interesse da criança (Caldeira, Santos, Pontes, Dourado, & Rodrigues, 2006; Mixão, 2007; Rafael, 2013). A equidade e o acesso aos cuidados de saúde são uns dos eixos estratégicos do atual Plano Nacional de Saúde (DGS, Plano Nacional de Saúde - Revisão e Extensão a 2020, 2015), o que reflete a pertinência e o cariz atual desta problemática. Assim, no âmbito do presente curso considerou-se como objetivo geral deste relatório dar visibilidade aos contributos do enfermeiro especialista na capacitação da família para a utilização adequada da urgência pediátrica. A metodologia utilizada para desenvolver as competências exigidas ao EEESCJ foi a realização de estágio em diferentes contextos, recorrendo à prática reflexiva para análise das experiências vividas na prática de cuidados, suportada pela evidência científica e orientada por quadros de referência para a profissão como o Modelo de Promoção da Saúde de Nola Pender, os Cuidados Centrados na Família, os Cuidados Não Traumáticos e os documentos orientadores da especialidade. Para tal, entre outras atividades, foram apresentadas uma proposta de articulação de cuidados, uma proposta de visitação domiciliária e formação aos pares. O presente relatório pretende assim refletir o desenvolvimento de competências científicas, técnicas e humanas para a conceção, a gestão, a prestação e a supervisão de cuidados de enfermagem especializados à criança, ao jovem e à família com o intuito da maximização do seu potencial. The excessive and inadequate use of the pediatric emergency services, during the last decades, has become a source of concern to the health professionals, managers, hospital administrators and political leaders. This issue’s origin, may have been triggered by the risk of compromising the adequate assistance in severe situations, due to the overcrowding of the pediatric emergency services, insufficient human resources, increased economic costs, exposure to epidemiological risks and inadequate use of the health services regarding the children best interests (Caldeira, Santos, Pontes, Dourado, & Rodrigues, 2006; Mixão, 2007; Rafael, 2013). The equity and the access to the health services is one of the National Health Plan’s strategical axes (DGS, Plano Nacional de Saúde - Revisão e Extensão a 2020, 2015), which reflects this paradigm’s current relevance. Therefore, within this course’s scope, it was considered that this report’s main goal consists in giving visibility to the contributions of the specialist nurse, in terms of the family’s capacitation concerning the adequate use of the pediatric emergency. The methodology used to develop the referred skills, was achieved after attending the internship and experiencing its different contexts, using the reflexive process to analyse the experiences lived during the health care services practiced. This process was supported by the scientific evidence and guided by reference frameworks, for the profession such as the Nola Pender’s Health Promotion Model, the Family Centered Care, the Non-Traumatic Care and the speciality guidance documents. To this end, among other activities, a proposal for articulation of care, a proposal for home visits and peer training were presented. This report therefore aims to reflect the development of scientific, technical and human skills for the design, management, provision and supervision of specialized nursing care for children, young people and families in order to maximize their potential.

Background and Aims The SARS-CoV-2 pandemic has overwhelmed the treatment capacity of the health care systems during the highest viral diffusion rate. Patients reaching the emergency department had to be either hospitalized (inpatients) or discharged (outpatients). Still, the decision was taken based on the individual assessment of the actual clinical condition, without specific biomarkers to predict future improvement or deterioration, and discharged patients often returned to the hospital for aggravation of their condition. Here, we have developed a new combined approach of omics to identify factors that could distinguish coronavirus disease 19 (COVID-19) inpatients from outpatients. Methods Saliva and blood samples were collected over the course of two observational cohort studies. By using machine learning approaches, we compared salivary metabolome of 50 COVID-19 patients with that of 270 healthy individuals having previously been exposed or not to SARS-CoV-2. We then correlated the salivary metabolites that allowed separating COVID-19 inpatients from outpatients with serum biomarkers and salivary microbiota taxa differentially represented in the two groups of patients. Results We identified nine salivary metabolites that allowed assessing the need of hospitalization. When combined with serum biomarkers, just two salivary metabolites (myo-inositol and 2-pyrrolidineacetic acid) and one serum protein, chitinase 3-like-1 (CHI3L1), were sufficient to separate inpatients from outpatients completely and correlated with modulated microbiota taxa. In particular, we found Corynebacterium 1 to be overrepresented in inpatients, whereas Actinomycetaceae F0332, Candidatus Saccharimonas, and Haemophilus were all underrepresented in the hospitalized population. Conclusion This is a proof of concept that a combined omic analysis can be used to stratify patients independently from COVID-19.

O ensino em geral, e o das Ciências em particular, recorre a múltiplas formas de expor e transmitir conhecimento e, neste processo, a imagem tem desde sempre um papel preponderante. Foi partindo deste pressuposto – a importância da imagem para o processo de ensino-aprendizagem ao longo do tempo – que se pensou a presente exposição. Nela se apresentaram quadros parietais e imagens de outra tipologia, veiculadoras de conhecimento científico no âmbito das ciências naturais, e que foram usadas em Portugal, essencialmente durante o século XX. Pretendeu-se que a exposição cujo tema central é as leguminosas, e que teve lugar em 2016 – Ano Internacional das Leguminosas, fosse apelativa, quer para o público escolar, quer para o público em geral, e permitisse fortalecer relações entre a ciência e a sociedade, promovendo a literacia e a cultura científicas. R Abstract: The teaching methods, especially those concerning to natural sciences, should take advantage of several strategies, from demonstrations to hands-on approaches and, in these processes, the image has a central role. It was with this premise – the importance of the image for the teaching and learning processes through time – that the present exhibition was planned. Therefore, parietal charts and other images used in Portugal, mainly during the 20th century in the scope of natural sciences teaching, were chosen and presented. Introdução: O surgimento da dentição decídua na cavidade oral é uma característica comum do desenvolvimento da criança. A erupção precoce dos dentes no recém-nascido pode dar origem a diversas complicações na cavidade oral como é o caso da doença de Riga-Fede, que representam um motivo de preocupação para os pais e um desafio para os profissionais de saúde. Objetivo: Realizar uma revisão sistemática integrativa sobre os dentes natais e neonatais e a doença de Riga-Fede. Conhecer os mecanismos pelos quais acontecem, desde a sua etiologia até aos planos de tratamento a considerar, após a execução de um diagnóstico adequado. Materiais e Métodos: Com recurso às bases de dados PubMed e SciElo, foi realizada uma pesquisa bibliográfica utilizando as seguintes palavras-chave: “Riga-Fede”; “Natal and Neonatal teeth and Riga-fede”; “Natal and neonatal theeth”; “Riga-fede desease causes” and “Riga-Fede Diagnosis” entre 2011 e 2021. Foram encontrados 375 artigos dos quais foram considerados 21 artigos. Discussão: Os dentes natais e neonatais podem originar diversas complicações na cavidade oral do recém-nascido, mais comumente a doença de Riga-Fede. Após a sua deteção clínica é crucial intervir, de forma a prevenir e/ou tratar patologias. Existem preferencialmente dois tipos de tratamento eleitos, o tratamento conservador e a exodontia. Conclusão: A ocorrência dos dentes natais e neonatais é uma condição rara e de etiologia ainda pouco conhecida. Segundo a literatura, a doença de Riga-Fede é caracterizada como a complicação mais comum associada à presença destes dentes.

Dissertação de Mestrado Integrado em Arquitetura apresentada à Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia A presente dissertação pretende compreender quais os efeitos do espírito nacionalista na arquitetura, quais as condições que exponenciaram a vontade patriótica no Reino da Hungria durante o período em que pertenceu ao Império Austro-Húngaro, com enfase na cidade de Budapeste e como é que se traduziu na procura de uma linguagem de forma que desse voz ao povo magiar.Após a contextualização das correntes no virar do século XX na Europa e da nova realidade vívida depois do Compromisso com a formação do Império, abordamos os grupos húngaros avant-garde, sendo estes o da Colónia de Gödöllő e os Fiatolok. De seguida, refletimos sobre a obra dos três arquitetos que mais se destacaram na procura de um estilo que se distanciasse do mimetismo do ocidentalismo, da rutura com o historicismo e com o academicismo. Ödön Lechner foi o primeiro a construir esta vertente, tendo os edifícios mais famosos dos três. Béla Lajta evoluiu sobre o estilo deste último, um dos seus mestres, para desenvolver um traçado à frente da sua época claramente moderno. Károly Kós estudou aprofundadamente as construções dos campos transilvanos usando esta arquitetura para criar a sua vertente vernacular identitária.Em suma, comparando os casos de estudo entre si e fazendo uma breve análise com a atualidade no mesmo território, concluímos que nos dias de hoje já não há espaço para um carater nacionalista arquitetónico, mesmo quando esta vontade se verifica no discurso político. Atualmente, ficam na cidade os edifícios que nos relembram de tempos de diversidade imagética enquanto o que se constrói agora é cada vez mais homogéneo. This dissertation aims to understand the effects of the nationalist spirit in architecture, what conditions instigated the patriotic desire in the Kingdom of Hungary when it was a part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, this, with emphasis on the city of Budapest and how it shows in the search for a language of form that would give voice to the Magyar people.After the contextualization of the architectural movements at the turn of the 20th century in Europe and the new reality after the Compromise to the formation of the Empire, we approached the Hungarian avant-garde groups, these being the Colony of Gödöllő and the Fiatolok. We then reflected on the work of the three architects who stood out in the search for a style that would distance itself from the mimicry of the Western, the rupture with historicism and academicism. Ödön Lechner was the first to construct with this purpose, having the most famous buildings of the three. Béla Lajta evolved over the style of the latter, one of his masters, to develop a layout ahead of his and clearly modern. Károly Kós studied in depth the constructions of the Transylvanian fields using this architecture to create his vernacular aspect of identity.In short, comparing the cases of study among themselves and making a brief analysis with the actuality in the same territory, we conclude that nowadays there is no more space for a nationalistic architectural character, even when this desire is obvious in the political discourse. Nowadays, the buildings that remind us of times of visual diversity remain in the city, while what is being built is more and more homogeneous.
