To compare the associations of three surrogate markers of insulin resistance (IR) [glucose and triglycerides (TyG index), TyG index with BMI (TyG-BMI), and the ratio of triglycerides divided by HDL-C (TG/HDL-C)] with hypertensive patients (HTN) plus hyperuricemia (HUA) (HTN-HUA) in young, non-obese individuals. Methods: Data from a cross-sectional epidemiological study of an annual health check-up population aged younger than 66 years were used to calculate the three IR surrogate indexes. The association with HTN-HUA and insulin resistance surrogates was examined with multinomial logistic regression and a receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve. Results: A total of 6952 participants were included, including 671 (9.65%) participants with HTN alone, 272 (3.91%) participants with HUA alone, and 62 (0.90%) participants with HTN and HUA. Binary multiple-logistic regression results showed that TG/HDL-C was significantly correlated with HTN, HUA, and HTN-HUA. Compared with the lowest quartile, the odds ratios (95% CI) of the highest quartile of TG/HDL-C for HTN-HUA were 3.462 (1.138~10.530). TG/HDL-C and TyG-BMI had moderate discriminative abilities for HTN-HUA, and the area under the curve was 0.748 (0.682~0.815), 0.746 (0.694~0.798). Conclusion: Our study suggests that TG/HDL-C had a significant correlation with HTN-HUA and that TG/HDL-C had moderate discriminative abilities for HTN-HUA. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

DW871 is a Brassica napus dwarf line with unusual and excellent plant type. To study the dwarf-related genes and their expression patterns of DW871. we took B. napus HW871 as control and selected stem tissues at the bolting stage for transcriptome gene expression analysis. Results showed that there were 8665 significant differentially expressed genes between DW871 and HW881. of which 2582 were up-regulated and 6083 down-regulated. The enrichment analysis of GO could be annotated to 22 subcategories in 3 categories. the enrichment analysis of KEGG was annotated to 295 pathways in 31 subcategories in 5 categories. We screened genes closely related to dwarfing traits from significantly different genes, 43 in pectin degradation, 69 in auxin signal transduction, and annotated 22 in the monolignol biosynthesis. It was found that the dwarfing character of DW871 was related to cell elongation, abnormal cell wall formation and cell division, and obstruction of auxin signal transduction. In particular, in monolignol biosynthesis, it is possible to regulate a series of physiological and biochemical processes related to lignin by regulating the expression of enzymes such as PAL and CCR. The differential genes related to dwarfing traits were screened in this research. It could be hypothesized that the dwarfing mechanism of DW871 involving abnormal auxin response and lignin synthesis, which lead to abnormal cell elongation, growth and cell wall changes, and ultimately lead to the dwarfing of DW871. Taken the grape cultivar 'Shine Muscat' as the material, the effect of the combination of GA3 and CPPU on the light-response curves in the fruit adjacent leaves and fruit quality were investigated two weeks after blossoming. The results showed that non-rectangular hyperbolic model was more suitable for grape fruit adjacent leaf light response curve fitting. Pn and gs of fruit adjacent leaves among all treatments increased with the increasing light intensity under the combination treatments of 25 mg . L-1 GA3 and 5, 10, 15, 20 mg . L-1 CPPU, respectively, but Ci decreased. Fruit quality increased with the increasing CPPU concentration under the combination treatments of 25 mg . L-1 GA3 and 5, 10, 15 mg . L-1 CPPU, respectively. Grape fruit adjacent leaf photosynthesis under the 25 mg · L-1 GA3+ 20 mg · L-1 CPPU treatment was higher than the other treatments. The fruit quality under the 25 mg · L-1 GA3 + 20 mg · L-1 CPPU treatment was lower than the 25 mg · L-1 GA3+ 15 mg . L-1 CPPU treatment. It indicated that reasonable CPPU treatment concentration could improve fruit adjacent leaf photosynthetic ability and fruit quality. Too high concentration made the fruit quality lower instead. Objective To investigate the outcome on 90 d and influencing factors for the outcome in conscious patients with intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH). Methods Two hundred and twenty - five patients with ICH were admitted to our hospital within 6 h after onset and were suitable to be treated with medical conservative therapy. Patients were divided into two groups, the conscious group [Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) score ⩾ 9] and the coma group (GCS score ⩽ 8). Clinical features including gender, age, National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) score, etc, were recorded. The prognosis of these patients on 90 d after onset was evaluated by the following index: survival or death; favorable prognosis [modified Rankin Scale (mRS) score ⩽ 2] or unfavorable prognosis (mRS score ⩾ 3, death or severe disability). The difference of clinical features and prognosis between the conscious group and coma group was explored. The prognosis of the patients in conscious group was analyzed, and influencing factors for prognosis were explored. Results Multifactorial Logistic regression analysis indicated that hyperglycemia, higher NIHSS score, rehemorrhagia and hematemesis were independent risk factors for 90-day mortality. On the other hand, advanced age, higher NIHSS score, rehemorrhagia and hematemesis were independent risk factors for death or severe disability on 90 - day. Conclusion In ICH patients who were conscious on admission, hyperglycemia, advanced age, higher NIHSS score, rehemorrhagia and hematemesis are strong predictors for mortality and unfavourable outcome. Controlling hyperglycemia and prevention of rehemorrhagia and hematemesis are important elements for reducing 90-day mortality and severe disability. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Public interest belongs to the legal revered matters, and the first policy of identifying public interest is to identify legally. In China, we need a law to clarify the scope and boundaries of public interest to identify law enforcement and justice. The principle of legitimacy is a reasonable standard of public interest. Public interest should be carried out within a reasonable range. The public interest can sacrifice personal interests in case of the lack of other alternative. The identification process of public interest is a process of value determination, and the public interest is relatively long-term interest and vital interest. When achieving public interest requires restriction or sacrifice, the restriction or sacrifice should be limited to a minimum in line with the principle of proportionality. If pursuing public interest damages the personal interests, they should be given full and fair compensation. Definition and identification of public interest should be processed in an open, fair and equitable procedure on basis of the rule of law to ensure that the public interest is in line with the requirements of most people. The legislation and law enforcement of China's administration accountability have both shown off their advantages to good effect in recent years and quite a few responsible governments have therefore been formed. However, since there was no concept that a government should hold accountable for its actions in China's traditional culture, ambiguous distinctions of responsibilities in the political system and no definite regulations/rules systematically formulated, there are still many problems in China's administration accountability for which both the connotation and extension should be strictly grasped. To solve the problems, the parity of power and responsibility, should be followed with both well defined to make the administration accountability legal in due course of law, thus dealing well with the relationship between the administration accountability and other responsibilities for investigation into negligence of duty. Furthermore, China's administration accountability should be framed properly as a system via defining the subject and object, normalizing the origin of event and perfecting legal procedure in administration accountability. Privacy refers to personality right which persons enjoy to protect their private life peace and private information secrets against harassment, other illegal collection and utilization. Privacy of public figures should be properly constrained due to many other privileges they enjoy and more social responsibilities they bear. In order to resolve the clash between right to know, right for interview and public figure's privacy, principles of equal rights, priority of public interests, balance and concertation, and human dignity should be followed. When public figures' privacy exposed, other irrelevant persons and persons with few relations shouldn't be involved or alluded to and human dignity of public figures should not be harmed simultaneously. The residual chronology of tree-ring width was constructed using Pseudotsuga forrestii collected from the low-altitude valley in the Chayu County, southeastern Tibetan Plateau of China. Pearson correlation analysis was carried out between the residual chronology of tree-ring width and climatic factors. The changes of Palmer drought severity index (PDSI) from April to May between 1812 and 2016 in the southeastern Tibetan Plateau were reconstructed by linear regression method (the variance interpretation was 47%). There was a significantly positive correlation between the PDSI index and tree-ring width index ( r =0.69, P <0.01). The PDSI reconstructed sequence had four wet periods (1831-1844, 1853-1863, 1938-1948 and 1988-2002) and three dry periods (1864-1876, 1908-1926 and 2003-2016). Compared with other reconstructed sequences and historical records, our reconstructed sequence could better express dry and wet changes in the study area. The spatial analysis showed that the reconstructed sequence was consistent with the variation trend of PDSI index in southeastern Tibetan Plateau, with a strong spatial representation. Multiple tapers spectral analysis demonstrated that the PDSI reconstructed sequence had remarkable 19-20, 3.9, 3.2, 2.4 and 2.1 years quasi-periodic changes for the past 205 years, probably related to Asian summer monsoon and ENSO activities.

The incidence of hyperbilirubinemia is high clinically, which is difficult to cure by medication, surgery or interventional therapies. Non-bioartificial liver is the main alternative in the blood purification for hyperbilirubinemia, which includes plasma exchange, hemoperfusion, hemodialysis, molecular adsorbent recycling system and so on. The research results and clinical experiences in China show that these methods are effective in lowering high levels of bilirubin with fewer side effects. The hyperbilirubinemias of different causes, with different complications or accompanying different diseases can be treated by different methods. Bioartificial liver, hybrid artificial liver support system and adsorbent membrane material have also been studied and their development in reducing hyperbilirubinemias has been achieved. This article gives a brief overview on the actuality and research improvement in blood purification for hyperbilirubinemia in China.
