SiCp/Al-Fe-V-Si composites exhibit complex deformation behaviors at both room and high temperatures because of the presence of SiC reinforcement particles and numerous fine dispersed Al12(Fe, V)3Si heat-resistant phases. In this work, an artificial neural network (ANN) constitutive model was established to study the deformation behavior of SiCp/Al-7.75Fe-1.04V-1.95Si composites over a wide temperature range based on uniaxial compression. Then, microstructural observation, finite element analysis, and processing maps were utilized to investigate the plastic workability. The results showed that the ANN model fit the experimental stress–strain curves with high accuracy, achieving an R2 value of 0.999. The ANN model was embedded into finite element software to study plastic deformation behaviors, which indicated that this model could accurately compute the plastic and mechanical response during the compressing process. Finally, a thermomechanical processing diagram was developed, revealing that the optimal processing parameters of the SiCp/Al-7.75Fe-1.04V-1.95Si composites were a deformation temperature of 450–500 °C and a deformation rate of 0.1–0.2 s−1. :In paper, recycled Al-1.15Mg-1.02Si-0.7Cu alloy was optical prepared by meiting and casting, the microstructural evolution of the alloy were analyzed by using optical nicroscopy(OM), scanning e!ectron microscopy (SEM), e!ectron back scattered diffraciion(EBSD) and transmission e!ectron nicroscope(TEM),the effects of heal treatment on the mechanical and corrosionlresistant properties of the extruded proUes were invesiigated. The results show that the recrystaliization of the alloy was competed by soiid solution at 550C and fine equaaxaal crystass were obtanned. The iime required for the alloys to reach peak hardness under artificia1 aging cond!tions at 155,175 and 195 C was 18,8 and 4 h, respectively, and the peak hardnesses were 132.96 HV,132. 94 HV and 132.22 HV, respectively, wtth the extruded profiles obtanning the highest tensle strength of 410. 42 MPa and higher elongation of 14. 75% under aging cond!tions at 175 C/8 h. The optimizedsoid solution process ss 550 C/1 hand the artifidal aging process ss 175 C/8 h. The tendency of the alloy to intergranular corrosion ss more pronounced,and the alloy corrodes most severely under peakaged cond!tions, followed by over-aged and weakest underaged. Currently, the major challenge in terms of research on K‐ion batteries is to ensure that they possess satisfactory cycle stability and specific capacity, especially in terms of the intrinsically sluggish kinetics induced by the large radius of K+ ions. Here, we explore high‐performance K‐ion half/full batteries with high rate capability, high specific capacity, and extremely durable cycle stability based on carbon nanosheets with tailored N dopants, which can alleviate the change of volume, increase electronic conductivity, and enhance the K+ ion adsorption. The as‐assembled K‐ion half‐batteries show an excellent rate capability of 468 mA h g−1 at 100 mA g−1, which is superior to those of most carbon materials reported to date. Moreover, the as‐assembled half‐cells have an outstanding life span, running 40,000 cycles over 8 months with a specific capacity retention of 100% at a high current density of 2000 mA g−1, and the target full cells deliver a high reversible specific capacity of 146 mA h g−1 after 2000 cycles over 2 months, with a specific capacity retention of 113% at a high current density of 500 mA g−1, both of which are state of the art in the field of K‐ion batteries. Despite the industrial significance of grain size for enhancing mechanical properties and formability, the in-depth deformation mechanisms at elevated temperature are still unclear. To investigate the functions of grain size on hot workability and deformation mechanisms, three groups of Mg-1.2Zn-0.2Y alloy specimens with different grain sizes were hot compressed and then studied by combining constitutive model, processing map and microstructural observations. The results showed that the enhanced hot workability accompanying low deformation activation energy and small instability regime was obtained with refined grain size. During hot deformation, the decreased grain size in Mg-1.2Zn-0.2Y alloy mainly improved the plastic deformation homogeneity, especially for the weakened local straining around grain boundaries. As a result, the dynamic recrystallization nucleation and texture development at lower strain level were influenced by the initial grain size. At higher strain magnitude, the growth and coarsening of dynamic recrystallized grains would further release strain localization and improve hot workability, while the texture was less impacted. Further, unlike the primary basal slip and deformation twinning in the specimen with coarse grain at low temperature, non-basal slips of dislocations were initiated with less deformation twins in the specimens with refined grain size.
