The present study is an excerpt from ongoing research from the Master's project which raises the importance of studying continuing teacher training policies, as one of the requirements for promoting inclusive education, with a focus on Special Education policies. However, for this investigation, we list the following research problem: Have continuing training policies for regular classroom teachers contributed effectively to the inclusive education of students and the advancement of didactic-pedagogical practices within the scope of special education? We define as a general objective: to analyze continuing training policies for regular classroom teachers from the perspective of inclusive education, highlighting the challenges, complexities and possibilities that describe teachers who work in Basic Education from the perspective of Special Education, aiming at their contributions in school inclusion regarding its didacticpedagogical action. This research has a qualitative approach, of an exploratory-descriptive nature, and is based on documentary and bibliographical sources. The research addresses continuing teacher training policies from the perspective of special education, bringing theoretical approaches and based on resolutions and laws that guarantee this right. However, upon completing the study and responding to the research problem, it is clear that training policies contribute to pedagogical action. However, this reality is not posed by the authors researched when dealing with effective teaching practice, since one of the factors that most contribute to exclusion is the lack of training for teachers in the scope of Special Education.
