Die Computersimulation bietet ein geeignetes Hilfsmittel zur Analyse komplexer Systeme. Für technische Problemstellungen jeder Art existieren heute unzählige, spezialisierte Simulationsprogramme, mit deren Hilfe einzelne physikalische Disziplinen modelliert und simuliert werden können. Die wichtigsten Argumente für den Einsatz der Simulationstechnik sind die Steigerung der Entscheidungsqualität und der –sicherheit. Aus wirtschaftlicher Sicht ist daher vor allem bei komplexen Systemen ein kontinuierlicher Simulationseinsatz in allen Entwicklungsphasen anzuraten. Von einem durchgängigen Simulationseinsatz zur Unterstützung des Entwicklungsprozess kann in der Flugzeugindustrie nicht die Rede sein. Aufgrund von Ressourcenknappheit wird in der frühen Produktentwicklung häufig auf den Einsatz von Simulationstechniken verzichtet. Gerade diese Phase ist für eine erfolgreiche Produktentwicklung von besonderer Bedeutung, da hier bereits bis zu 70% der Entwicklungskosten festgelegt werden. Ein weiteres Problem besteht darin, dass Systeminteraktionen erst in den späten Entwicklungsphasen überprüft werden. Systeminkompatibilitäten in diesen Phasen führen zu zeit- und kostenintensiven Iterationsschleifen. Zusammenfassend lässt sich sagen, dass weder ein standardisiertes Vorgehen, noch ein Konzept oder eine Methodik zum durchgängigen Einsatz von Simulationstechniken für den Entwicklungsprozess von Flugzeugsystemen existieren. Ziel dieser Arbeit ist die Entwicklung eines Konzeptes, welches den Einsatz von Simulationstechniken im Entwicklungsprozess regelt und somit zur Steigerung der Qualität und Transparenz, Reduzierung der Entwicklungszeit und –kosten sowie zur Verbesserung des ganzheitlichen Denkens im Produktentstehungsprozess führt. Das Konzept für die durchgängige Simulationsunterstützung sieht eine virtuelle Systemanalyse in den frühen Entwicklungsphasen vor. Durch den Einsatz der Simulationstechnik ist es möglich, Konzeptalternativen auf einer mathematischen Basis zu vergleichen und somit die Suche nach der besten Lösung zu unterstützen. Die frühzeitige virtuelle Verifikation im linken Strang des V-Modells - hierbei handelt es sich um ein Vorgehensmodell in der Produktentwicklung - führt dazu, dass Entwicklungsfehler frühzeitig entdeckt werden und verhindert damit kostenintensive Iterationsschleifen. Das Simulationskonzept schreibt den kontinuierlichen Einsatz der Simulationstechnik von der Konzeptphase bis zum Ende der Testphase vor. Ein Modellierungskonzept mit verschiedenen Detaillierungsebenen erlaubt die Anpassung der Modelle an den jeweiligen Entwicklungsstand. Zudem ermöglicht die Kombination aus alleinstehenden und systemübergreifenden Simulationen zum einen eine Teilsystemoptimierung mit geringem Ressourceneinsatz und zum anderen werden in den systemübergreifenden Simulationen Systeminteraktionen analysiert, so dass Inkompatibilitäten frühzeitig erkannt werden. Der Einsatz der standardisierten Modellierungssprache SysML erhöht zusätzlich die Transparenz und führt zu einer Verbesserung der Kommunikation im Entwicklungsprozess. Gleichzeitig wird durch die standardisierte Modellierung das Verständnis für das Gesamtsystem aller an der Entwicklung Beteiligten erhöht. Für die Informationsbereitstellung wird eine zentrale Informationsbasis verwendet, die es ermöglicht bestehende Infrastrukturen weiter zu verwenden sowie weitere Informationsquellen zu integrieren, so dass immer die am besten geeignete IT-Lösung für die Informationsbereitstellung eingesetzt wird. Zudem wird der Aufwand für die Beschaffung von Informationen reduziert und somit die wertschöpfende Tätigkeit aller Beteiligten gesteigert. Diese Arbeit liefert einen Beitrag zur Realisierung einer virtuellen Flugzeugentwicklung, deren Ziele eine frühzeitige Analyse des Verhaltens des Gesamtsystems Flugzeug und somit die Reduzierung der realen Hardwaretests sind. Eine frühzeitige virtuelle Flugzeugüberprüfung resultiert damit in einer Reduzierung der Entwicklungszeit und –kosten., Computer simulation provides an adequate tool for complex system analysis. For nearly all physical domains, specialised simulation software is available which allows to model and simulate all kinds of multidisciplinary systems. From an economical point of view it is recommended to use the simulation for complex system analysis throughout the whole development process. Simulation supports the decision process and increases the quality of the product. Furthermore it improves the overall system appreciation, reduces the development costs, and thus paves the way for the competitiveness of companies. In today’s aircraft development a continuous simulation support throughout the development process does not exist. In the early development phases decisions are based on empirical knowledge because of missing resources. But for the success of the development the early phases play a major role. In these phases nearly 70% of the overall development costs are defined. Another deficit of the current development process caused by different vocabulary of concepts is the interdisciplinary communication. This involves an independent development, isolated solution of single subsystems, and leads to misunderstandings and a loss of overall knowledge for all participating developers. In summary it can be said that a standardised approach, method or process for the use of simulation techniques throughout the development process is missing. The main goal of this work is to provide a generic concept for the continuous simulation support in the aircraft system development process. Therefore deficits in the current development process were identified and used to define requirements for a future concept. The simulation concept provides a virtual analysis in the early development phases. Due to this proceeding it is possible to evaluate different aircraft system concepts on a mathematical base. This enables the determination of the best system solution for the ongoing development process. In addition, it allows an early virtual verification, so that development faults can be identified in an early stage of the development. As a result, cost and time intensive iteration loops in the following phases are reduced. The concept regulates the use of simulation during the whole system development process from the early concept phases to the end of the test phases. Different model abstraction levels allow a model adaptation with regard to the respective development phase. The combination of stand alone and system wide simulations allows an optimisation of subsystems with only few resources and the virtual analysis of system interactions. This enables the early detection of system incompatibilities. For the system wide simulation the co-simulation and the simulation coupling are applicable. These simulation techniques always allow to use the most appropriate simulation software. Furthermore the use of the standardised modelling language SysML increases the transparency and improves the communication in the development process. The information allocation is realised by a central information basis which allows to integrate existing infrastructures e.g. data bases. Once the user has been authenticated he has access to all relevant development data. Moreover the central information basis reduces the effort of data allocation. This work makes a contribution to the virtual aircraft development. The scope of the virtual development is the early analysis of the overall behaviour of an aircraft and thus the reduction of development costs and time.
