Euplocania amarui n. sp. (Figs 7–18) Diagnosis. Belonging in species group patinoi (González-Obando et al., 2018), related to E. patinoi and E. rojasae, differing from it by the shape of the central sclerite of hypandrium and details of the general shape of the endophallic sclerites and by dark brown areas on sides of ocellar group, as illustrated. Female IX sternum broad, anterior margin with a deep concavity in the middle, laterally forming broadly rounded lobes, posterior margin bilobed (Fig. 18) Male. Color (in 80% ethanol). Body pale yellowish brown, with pigmented brown areas as indicated below. Head pattern (Fig. 9), vertex cream, with pale brown spots; front light brown, with dark brown spots; postclypeus brown, with ochre striae; genae ochre, with cream spot. Compound eyes dark brown, ocelli hyaline, with ochre centripetal crescents; labrum and anteclypeus dark brown. Maxillary palps: Mx1-3 light brown, Mx4 brown. Antennae pale brown, scape and pedicel brown, flagellomeres with apices cream. Thorax pale brown to cream, pronotum with brown spots; tergal lobes of meso- and metathorax with brown spots, mesopleura with large, dark brown spot. Legs: fore- coxae brown, with basal cream spot, mid- and hind- coxae cream, with little ochre spot, trochanters cream, femora medially and anteapically with brown spot, tibiae and tarsi pale brown, tarsi 1-2 darker. Forewings (Fig. 7), hyaline, pterostigma with proximal and distal brown bands, a narrow pale brown band between R1 and R2+3 and forming an arc at the end of the cells from R4+5 to areola postica, and a large brown-yellowish area distally in cells cua and cup, as illustrated; brown areolae on veins in setal insertions, and brown spots distally on veins, at wing margin. Hindwings (Fig. 8), hyaline, with veins brown and brown spots distally on veins R2+3, R4+5 and M. Abdomen pale brown to cream, with dark brown subcuticular spots. Hypandrium brown, central sclerite darker laterally and apically; epiproct and paraprocts pale brown. Phallosome brown. Morphology. As in diagnosis, plus the following: Head (Fig. 9): H/MxW: 1.48; compound eyes large, H/D: 2.57; IO/MxW: 0.74. Outer cusp of lacinial tip broad, with six denticles; Mx4/Mx2: 1.17. Forewings (Fig. 7): L/W: 2.63. Pterostigma: lp/wp: 4.26, areola postica high and wide with anterior edge rounded: al/ah: 1.39. M 4-branched, M4 distally forked. Hindwing (Fig. 8): l/w: 3.07. Central sclerite of hypandrium almost as long as wide (Fig. 11), setose as illustrated, distally with fine marginal teeth, apically with two closely spaced lobe-like processes located in a lower field; phallosome with side struts Y-shaped anteriorly, external parameres widened, with pores, posterior margin almost straight, with inner postero-lateral corners not projected (Fig. 12); lateral endophallic sclerites strongly dilated, distally with broad teeth on its inner margin; pair of anterior endophallic sclerites transverse, curved inward connected apically to the lateral endophallic sclerites. Pair mesal endophallic sclerites elongate, separate, with mesal sclerite process enlarged distally, apically with short acuminate process on its outer side. Paraprocts (Fig. 10) almost elliptic, with a dense setal field distally, as illustrated; sensory fields with 25 trichobothria on basal rosettes. Epiproct (Fig. 10) trianguliform, anterior border somewhat convex, a group of three mesal setae near anterior border, a small setal field distally as illustrated. Measurements (in microns). Euplocania garcialdretei n. sp. (Figs 19–24) Diagnosis. Belonging in species group garcialdretei (new group). Hypandrium of a single sclerite, central area of the sclerite with deep V-shaped incision, each lobe formed with distal process, apically pointed, curved inward, forming concavity on its inner margin and basal projection with macrosetae. Phallosome with lateral-anterior sclerite fused and forming an outwardly curved ring, centrally connected to the mesal sclerites. Male. Color (in 80% ethanol). Body pale yellowish brown, with pigmented brown areas as indicated below. Head pattern (Fig. 21), vertex cream, with central and lateral brown spots; front light brown, with brown spots, one of them in the form of an inverted T originating in the ocelli and from the internal margin of the compound eyes to the epistomal suture; postclypeus dark brown, with ochre striae; genae dark brown, with light brown spot. Compound eyes dark brown, ocelli hyaline, with ochre centripetal crescents; labrum and anteclypeus dark brown. Maxillary palps: Mx1 light brown, Mx 3-4 brown. Antennae pale brown, scape brown, flagellomeres with apices cream. Thorax brown to cream, pronotum with brown spots; tergal lobes of meso- and metathorax brown, with cream spots, mesopleura brown, with small cream spot; metapleura cream, with brown spot. Euplocania wchipere n. sp. (Figs 35–40) Diagnosis. Forewing with a pale brown to brown wide band along margin, from R4+5 to cup cell. Ninth sternum trianguliform, with anterior margin convex, apical angle rounded. Due to the lack of knowledge of the males of this species, it is impossible to assign it to a group of species, since these have been proposed mainly based on characteristics of the hypandrium and phallosome. Female. Color (in 80% ethanol). Head pattern (Fig. 37). Compound eyes dark brown to black, ocelli hyaline, with ochre centripetal crescents. Vertex pale brown, with brown spots centrally. Frons pale brown, with dark brown transverse band between the inner margins of the compound eyes and between them and epistomal suture; postclypeus, anteclypeus, genae and labrum dark brown to brown. Antennae pale brown, scape brown, flagellomeres with apices cream. Maxillary palp brown, Mx1 clearer. Tergal lobes of meso- and metathorax brown, with pale brown spots. Thoracic pleura creamy, with brown spots. Legs: coxae dark brown, trochanters light brown with pale brown spot basally, mid- and hind- femora dark brown, cream apically, fore femur dark brown proximally, light brown distally, with preapical pale brown spot, tibiae and tarsi pale brown. Forewings almost hyaline, with a pale brown to brown wide band along margin, from R4+5 to cup cell; veins brown, with brown areolae on veins in setal insertions and a dark brown spot at end and at wing margin. Pterostigma hyaline basally dark brown proximally and apically (Fig. 35). Hindwings hyaline, veins brown, with a brown spot at end of R2+3, R4+5 and M1 (Fig. 36). Abdomen creamy, with brown to ochre spots. Subgenital plate dark brown with sides and centrally light brown (Fig. 39). Clunium brown. Epiproct and Paraprocts pale brown and darker areas. Euplocania matsiguenka n. sp. (Figs 30–34) Diagnosis. Belonging in species group Enderleini, in the classification of Gonzalez-Obando et al. (2018). Due to the shape of the hypandrium and phallosome it is closely related to E. gallegoi, but unlike the latter it presents the hypandrium with four well-developed distal lobes (triconcave) and its posteromesal sclerite with two apical and outwardly curved teeth. Male. Color (in 80% ethanol). Body pale yellowish brown, with pigmented brown areas as indicated below. Thorax pale brown to cream, pronotum brown; tergal lobes of meso- and metathorax with brown, mesopleura light brown, with brown and ochre spots. Legs: fore- coxae brown, with basal darker spot, mid- and hind- coxae cream, with basal brown spot, trochanters cream, femora cream medially and preapically with brown spot, tibiae and tarsi pale brown, tibia darker apically. Forewings (Fig. 30), hyaline, pterostigma with proximal and apical brown bands, a narrow brown band between R1 and R2+3 and forming an arc at the end of the cells from R3 to areola postica, and a large brown area in cells cua and cup, as illustrated; brown areolae on veins in setal insertions, and brown spots distally on veins, at wing margin. Euplocania katarii n. sp. (Figs 25–29) Diagnosis. Belonging in species garcialdretei group (new group). Closely related to E. garcialdretei, with somewhat similar hypandrium and wings, but unlike it the posterior process of the central area of hypandrium is shorter and without basal projection (Fig. 28). On the other hand, the endophallic sclerites are different, with anterior pair of sclerites small and posteriorly acuminate; pair mesal sclerites elongated, fused to the lateral sclerites, with posteromesal sclerites distally acuminate and curved inward (Fig. 29). Euplocania garcialdretei n. sp. (Figs 19–24) Diagnosis. Belonging in species group garcialdretei (new group). Hypandrium of a single sclerite, central area of the sclerite with deep V-shaped incision, each lobe formed with distal process, apically pointed, curved inward, forming concavity on its inner margin and basal projection with macrosetae. Phallosome with lateral-anterior sclerite fused and forming an outwardly curved ring, centrally connected to the mesal sclerites. Male. Color (in 80% ethanol). Euplocania alfonnerii n. sp. (Figs 1–6) Diagnosis. Belonging in species group daguensis, “Group B” in the classification of Garcia Aldrete et al. (2013). It is close to E. caquetensis González, García-Aldrete & Carrejo, E. daguaensis González, García-Aldrete & Carrejo and to E. gaitanae González, García-Aldrete & Carrejo. It differs mainly from these in the widened shape of the side structs of the phallosome, the boomerang shape of the anterior endophallic sclerite, and the shape of the anterior and posterior margin processes of the mesal endophallic sclerite (Fig. 6). Male. Color (in 80% ethanol). Head pattern (Fig. 3). Compound eyes dark brown to black, ocelli hyaline, with ochre centripetal crescents. Vertex dark brown. Frons brown, with light brown cross band and dark brown spots laterally, postclypeus, anteclypeus and labrum brown, darker centrally. Genae brown, with ochre spot anteriorly. Antennae pale brown. Maxillary palp pale brown, Mx4 brown distally. Tergal lobes of meso- and metathorax dark brown. Thoracic pleura creamy, with small brown spots. Legs pale brown, coxae brown with pale brown spots; tibiae darker apically. Forewings almost hyaline, with a pale brown-yellowish band along margin, from R2+3 to near the wing base; veins brown, with a dark brown spot at wing margin. Pterostigma dark brown proximally, pale basally, pale brown distally, darker apically (Fig. 1). Hindwings hyaline, veins brown, with a brown spot at end of R4+5 and M1 (Fig. 2). Euplocania waorani n. sp. Male (Figs 43–47) Diagnosis. This species is related to species group bonaverensis of González, García Aldrete, Carrejo & Panche (2018), but differing from it by not having the setae of the forewing veins inserted in brown areolae, by having the lateral processes of the hypandrium large, triangular, with only the apices bent posteriorly, and by the shape of the three pairs of endophallic sclerites, mesal pair C-shaped, positioned in opposite directions, overlapping medially, each basally widened, mesal sclerite process (msp) pointed apically and curved outward (Fig. 46), anterior pair long, slender, sinuous, slightly dilated at the anterior ends, posteriorly reaching the ends of the external parameres; lateral pair dilated anteriorly, slender, curved inward, the apices meeting in the middle. A new species group is proposed for this species, the waorani group (see discussion below). Color (of parts mounted on slide). Legs pale brown, coxae and femora brown. Forewings (Fig. 43), hyaline, veins brown, with brown spots at veins ends, cells cu1 and cu2 with small brown spots. Hindwings (Fig. 44) hyaline, veins brown. Euplocania teslai n. sp. Male (Figs 31–36) Diagnosis. Belonging in species group cerata. By the shape of the hypandrium, it is related to E. shuar n. sp. and E. nukak n. sp. It differs from the first one by having posterior endophallic sclerites; it differs from the latter in having the anterior endophallic sclerites very slender. Color (of parts mounted on slide). Head (Fig. 33) pale brown, with brown pattern on frontal area and genae; compounds eyes black; ocelli hyaline, with ochre centripetal crescents; genae dark brown with clear transverse band, clypeus dark brown; maxillary palps pale brown, Mx1 paler than the other palpomeres. Forewings (Fig. 31) hyaline, veins brown, with brown spots at veins ends, cells cu1 and cu2 with brown areas; pterostigma with proximal and distal brown bands. Euplocania shuar n. sp. Male (Figs 25–30) Diagnosis. Belonging in species group cerata (García Aldrete, González & Carrejo (2013). The forewings and the shape of the hypandrium relate it to E. teslai n. sp., and E. nukak n. sp., differing from them by the shape of the endophallic sclerites, specifically the mesal sclerites, with a broad process directed anteriorly, wider distally and side ends of each sclerite bifid and by the hypandrium shape with median sclerite rounded and U-shaped posterior concavity. Euplocania huitota n. sp. Male (Figs 1–6) Diagnosis. Belonging in species group bonaverensis, of González, García Aldrete, Carrejo & Panche (2018). By the shape of the hypandrium, it seems closer to E. kakwa n. sp., than to E. napensis n. sp. It differs from the latter by having the postero-mesal projections of the hypandrium slightly curved inward and, by the shape of the anterior endophallic sclerites, each one consisting of two elongate and acuminates sclerites that converge on the mesal sclerite and articulated to the lateral sclerites as in Fig. 5. Euplocania huitota n. sp. Male (Figs 1–6) Diagnosis. Belonging in species group bonaverensis, of González, García Aldrete, Carrejo & Panche (2018). By the shape of the hypandrium, it seems closer to E. kakwa n. sp., than to E. napensis n. sp. It differs from the latter by having the postero-mesal projections of the hypandrium slightly curved inward and, by the shape of the anterior endophallic sclerites, each one consisting of two elongate and acuminates sclerites that converge on the mesal sclerite and articulated to the lateral sclerites as in Fig. 5. Head (Fig. 3) brown to ochraceous, with pattern of dark spots, obtuse light band from epistomal sulcus to anterior margin of compound eyes, including antennal sockets. Euplocania ticuna n. sp. Male (Figs 37–42) Diagnosis. This species does not belong in any of the Euplocania species groups. It differs from other species of Euplocania that also present the hypandrium with a single sclerite (Fig. 42), by pattern of the forewings, shape of the phallosome sclerites and details of the shape of the hypandrium. Forewings of five branches, with M 4 and M 5 forked; cells cu1 and cu2 with brown areas; pterostigma with proximal and distal dark brown bands; hypandrium with pair of posterior projections strongly widened, each with two short posterior processes, one external and one internal, internal one with macrosetae basally. Phallosome with side struts slender, V-shaped, anterior pair of endophallic sclerites very close together at its posterior end, giving the appearance of a V; lateral sclerites broad, curved, angled out. Pair of mesal sclerites almost close to the midline, each with a short posterior process. Therefore, a new species group is proposed for this species, the ticuna group (see discussion below). It is related to E. huitota n. sp. and E. kakwa n. sp., differing from them by the hypandrium processes: antero-lateral processes narrowing distally, apices directed posteriorly; median posterior projections separated by a deep incision, anteriorly wide, narrowing distally to rounded apices and by presence of posterior endophallic sclerites. Euplocania teslai n. sp. Male (Figs 31–36) Diagnosis. Belonging in species group cerata. By the shape of the hypandrium, it is related to E. shuar n. sp. and E. nukak n. sp. It differs from the first one by having posterior endophallic sclerites; it differs from the latter in having the anterior endophallic sclerites very slender. Color (of parts mounted on slide). Head (Fig. 33) pale brown, with brown pattern on frontal area and genae; compounds eyes black; ocelli hyaline, with ochre centripetal crescents; genae dark brown with clear transverse band, clypeus dark brown; maxillary palps pale brown, Mx1 paler than the other palpomeres. Forewings (Fig. 31) hyaline, veins brown, with brown spots at veins ends, cells cu1 and cu2 with brown areas; pterostigma with proximal and distal brown bands. Euplocania macuxi sp. nov. (Figs. 1-7) Male Diagnosis: Belonging in marginata species group of García Aldrete et al. (2013).Differing from the known species of this group, in having central sclerite of hypandrium almost straight anteriorly, posteriorly with a median stout triangular process, underlaid by a stout bifid posterior process, with each arm machete shaped, widening posteriorly, distally curved slightly inwards; mesal sclerite of phallosome U-shaped, anteriorly convex, narrow, posteriorly widening with postero-lateral corners projected, these almost triangular, three pairs of endophallic sclerites, with an antero-lateral pair, boomerang shaped, almost the same width along its entire length and with a posterior pair, broad, trapeziform with sides converging to almost straight posterior border. Color (in 80% ethanol): Compound eyes black, ocelli hyaline, with ochre centripetal crescents, head pattern (Fig. 1). Scape and pedicel brown, f1-f3 pale brown. Legs with coxae and trochanters brown, femora pale brown; tibiae proximally dark brown, then pale brown and dark brown distally; tarsomere 1 pale brown, tarsomeres 2-3 brown. Forewings veins brown, a wide, marginal pigmented band from R₄₊₅ to A1 and Cu2 cells, with a small, hyaline area on each side of vein ends, at wing margin, from M1 to M4; Rs and crossvein Rs-M dark brown. Pterostigma peripherally pale brown, with small irregular brown spots and with a transverse brown spot distally as a false vein (Fig. 2). Hindwings with a homogeneous brown band from R₄₊₅ to A1; veins brown (Fig. 3). Morphology: Head with vertex slightly concave, emarginated; compound eyes without interommatidial setae (Fig. 1). Outer cusp of lacinial tip broad, with eight denticles (Fig. 4). Forewing pterostigma basally narrow, wider in the middle, narrowing posteriorly, areola postica tall, wide, with round apex, slanted and sinuous posteriorly. Rs stem almost straight, R₂₊₃ almost straight, R₄₊₅ sinuous; M stem slightly concave proximally, then almost straight, with four primary branches, M₁ almost straight, M₂-M₄ sinuous (Fig. 2). Hindwing Rs, R₂₊₃ and R₄₊₅ straight, M sinuous (Fig. 3). Hypandrium of three sclerites, a large central sclerite almost straight anteriorly, with posterior corners almost triangular, posteriorly with a median stout triangular process, underlaid by a stout bifid posterior process, with each arm machete shaped, widening posteriorly, distally curved slightly inwards; side sclerites almost lozenge, narrowing at the ends and, posteriorly distally acuminate, setae as illustrated (Fig. 5). Phallosome (Fig. 6) with side struts basally fused, U-shaped, widening posteriorly and distally almost triangular. External parameres V-shaped, with a field of pores distally, with inner arm tubular and distally rounded, outer arms posteriorly rounded and anteriorly acuminate. Mesal sclerite wide, almost U-shaped, anteriorly convex, narrow, posteriorly widening with postero-lateral corners projected, these almost triangular. Three pairs of endophallic sclerites, an antero-mesal pair, small, strongly sclerotized, almost touching in the middle of endophallus, narrow basally, with sides widening posteriorly and almost triangular; an antero-lateral pair, elongated, boomerang shaped, almost the same width along its entire length, distally curved inward; a posterior pair, strongly sclerotized, broad, trapeziform with sides converging to almost straight posterior border, located between the antero-lateral pair and the external parameres. Epiproct (Fig. 7) broad, sides converging to almost straight posterior border, three mesal setae near anterior border, setal fields on posterior edge and one macroseta on each side. Paraprocts broadly, elliptic; sensory fields with 29-30 trichobothria on basal rosettes, setae as illustrated (Fig. 7). Euplocania pseudopictaoides n. sp. Male (Figs 23���30) Diagnosis. Belonging in species group amabilis, of Garc��a Aldrete et al., (2013) and subgroup picta, of Vinasco- Mondrag��n et al., (2018). It is close to E. pictaoides Garc��a Aldrete, by having two mesal endophallic sclerites instead of one as in the other species of its group, but differing from it by the shape of the postero-lateral processes of the central sclerite of the hypandrium, by details of the phallosome endophallic sclerites and by having a forewing with marginal pigmentation from pterostigma to A 2, instead from R 4+5 to A2 (Compare Figs 24, 27 and 28 in this paper with Figs 10, 14 and 16 in Garc��a Aldrete 1998). Color (in 80% ethanol). Compound eyes black, ocelli hyaline, with ochre centripetal crescents, head pattern (Fig. 23). Scape brown, pedicel dark brown. Forewing pterostigma angulate, projected in the middle towards Rs, almost triangular, areola postica tall, wide, with round apex, slanted posteriorly, M with four primary branches (Fig. 24). Hindwing Rs, R 2+3 and R 4+5 straight, M sinuous (Fig. 25). Hypandrium of three sclerites, a large central sclerite with sides sinuous, straight anteriorly, with a median V-shaped concavity, claw-shaped acuminate internal processes on the posterior projections, these with a field of small spines on each, side sclerites triangular, setae as illustrated (Fig. 27). Phallosome (Fig. 28) with side struts basally fused, V-shaped, narrowing posteriorly and distally almost triangular with a small projection acuminate and curved inwards. External parameres U-shaped with a field of pores in the middle, with a small acuminate projection in its posterior outer margin. Two mesal sclerites, strongly sclerotized, anterior V-shaped, narrow in the middle, widening at the ends, anteriorly stout, almost elliptical and posteriorly almost triangular; posterior sclerite transverse, widest in the middle, narrowing to the sides, anteriorly with two small projections on each side and with a long posterior projection in the middle, ending in a rounded apex. A pair of antero-lateral endophallic sclerites, almost elliptic, wide basally, with sides narrowing posteriorly with acuminate apex. Epiproct wide, almost straight anteriorly, trapeziform, with three mesal setae near anterior border, setal fields on posterior edge and one macroseta on each side (Fig. 29). Euplocania hutchingsi n. sp. Male (Figs 16���22) Diagnosis. Belonging in species group amabilis of Garc��a Aldrete et al. (2013) and subgroup ariasi, of Vinasco- Mondrag��n et al. (2018). It is close to E. ariasi Vinasco-Mondrag��n, Gonz��lez & Garc��a Aldrete, differing from it by having the postero-lateral processes of the central sclerite of hypandrium curved inwards, with straight acuminate internal processes directed inwards, by having an acuminate projection on each side, anterior to each postero-lateral process, and in details of the phallosome endophallic sclerites, particularly the mesal sclerite, which has a small posterior projection in the middle (compare Figs 20 and 21 in this paper with Figs 5 and 6 in Vinasco- Mondrag��n et al. 2018). Color (in 80% ethanol). Compound eyes black, ocelli hyaline, with ochre centripetal crescents, head pattern (Fig. 16). Scape brown, pedicel yellow. Euplocania quinquedivisa n. sp. Male (Figs 31���38) Diagnosis. This species does not belong in any of the species groups proposed by Garc��a Aldrete et al. (2013). It differs from the known species of Euplocania, by having the hypandrium of five sclerites and by having the forewing with a slender, pigmented marginal band, from pterostigma to A 2, with two hyaline areas from R 2+3 to CuP, on each side of the vein ends at wing margin. Therefore, a new species group is proposed for this species, the quinquedivisa group (see Discussion, below). Color (in 80% ethanol). Compound eyes black, ocelli hyaline, with ochre centripetal crescents, head pattern (Fig. 31). Scape proximally pale yellow, distally dark brown, pedicel yellow with a V-shaped spot dark brown, f1 proximally pale brown and then pale yellow, f2 pale yellow. It differs from the species of its subgroup by having the forewing pterostigma with a small hyaline window at the lower angle and by having the lateral posterior projections of the hypandrium with the apex of the inner margin not acuminate. It is close to E. picta New in having the hypandrium with a small acuminate projection on each side, anterior to each posterior projection and by having a mesal endophallic sclerite with postero-lateral processes longer than the median process, differing in details of the hypandrium and phallosome (compare Figs 6 and 7 in this paper with Figs 16 and 17 in New 1980). Euplocania quinquedivisa n. sp. Male (Figs 31–38) Diagnosis. This species does not belong in any of the species groups proposed by García Aldrete et al. (2013). It differs from the known species of Euplocania, by having the hypandrium of five sclerites and by having the forewing with a slender, pigmented marginal band, from pterostigma to A 2, with two hyaline areas from R 2+3 to CuP, on each side of the vein ends at wing margin. Therefore, a new species group is proposed for this species, the quinquedivisa group (see Discussion, below). Color (in 80% ethanol). Compound eyes black, ocelli hyaline, with ochre centripetal crescents, head pattern (Fig. 31). Scape proximally pale yellow, distally dark brown, pedicel yellow with a V-shaped spot dark brown, f1 proximally pale brown and then pale yellow, f2 pale yellow. Legs with coxae brown, trochanters dark brown, femora proximally dark brown, then brown; tibiae brown with apex dark brown; tarsomere 1 brown, with end dark brown, tarsomeres 2–3 yellow. Forewings veins brown, a marginal pigmented slender band from pterostigma to A 2. Rs and crossvein Rs-M dark brown. Pterostigma dark brown with small irregular brown areas (Fig. 32). Five pairs of endophallic sclerites, anterior pair, small, tripartite, heavily sclerotized; antero-mesal pair stout, almost elliptic, heavily sclerotized, touching in the middle of endophallus; antero-lateral pair, stout, elongated, bowling pin shaped, curved outwards distally; postero-mesal pair almost triangular, arising in the middle of the mesal posterior sclerite; a posterior pair, small, curved and inserted into a distinct membranous region, mesal posterior sclerite small, U-shaped. Epiproct wide, almost straight anteriorly, with one concave area on each antero-lateral corner; sides converging to round posterior border, three mesal setae near anterior border, setal fields on posterior edge and one macroseta on each side (Fig. 37). Euplocania cearaensis n. sp. Male (Figs 9���15) Diagnosis. Belonging in species group amabilis of Garc��a Aldrete et al. (2013) and subgroup manausensis, of Vinasco-Mondrag��n et al. (2018). It is close to E. manausensis Vinasco-Mondrag��n, Gonz��lez & Garc��a Aldrete, from which it differs by the postero-lateral process of the central sclerite of the hypandrium, and by the shape of the mesal endophallic sclerite (compare Figs 13 and 14 in this paper with Figs 41, 42, 47 and 48 in Vinasco- Mondrag��n et al. 2018). Color (in 80% ethanol). Compound eyes black, ocelli hyaline, with ochre centripetal crescents, head pattern (Fig. 9). Scape dark brown, pedicel pale yellow, f1���f3 brown, with apex pale yellow. It differs from the species of its subgroup by having the forewing pterostigma with a small hyaline window at the lower angle and by having the lateral posterior projections of the hypandrium with the apex of the inner margin not acuminate. It is close to E. picta New in having the hypandrium with a small acuminate projection on each side, anterior to each posterior projection and by having a mesal endophallic sclerite with postero-lateral processes longer than the median process, differing in details of the hypandrium and phallosome (compare Figs 6 and 7 in this paper with Figs 16 and 17 in New 1980). Differing from E. marginata New & Thonton by having the central sclerite of the hypandrium convex anteriorly, with long setae on the posterior corners, with a median stout posterior process, narrowing distally, apically straight, underlaid by a bifid posterior process, each arm distally curved outwards. Color (in 80% ethanol). Compound eyes black, ocelli hyaline, with ochre centripetal crescents, head pattern (Fig. 39). Scape and pedicel brown, f1-f3 pale brown. Euplocania hutchingsi n. sp. Male (Figs 16–22) Diagnosis. Belonging in species group amabilis of García Aldrete et al. (2013) and subgroup ariasi, of Vinasco- Mondragón et al. (2018). It is close to E. ariasi Vinasco-Mondragón, González & García Aldrete, differing from it by having the postero-lateral processes of the central sclerite of hypandrium curved inwards, with straight acuminate internal processes directed inwards, by having an acuminate projection on each side, anterior to each postero-lateral process, and in details of the phallosome endophallic sclerites, particularly the mesal sclerite, which has a small posterior projection in the middle (compare Figs 20 and 21 in this paper with Figs 5 and 6 in Vinasco- Mondragón et al. 2018). Color (in 80% ethanol). Compound eyes black, ocelli hyaline, with ochre centripetal crescents, head pattern (Fig. 16). Scape brown, pedicel yellow. It is close to E. manausensis Vinasco-Mondragón, González & García Aldrete, from which it differs by the postero-lateral process of the central sclerite of the hypandrium, and by the shape of the mesal endophallic sclerite (compare Figs 13 and 14 in this paper with Figs 41, 42, 47 and 48 in Vinasco- Mondragón et al. 2018). Euplocania uariniensis n. sp. Male (Figs 39–46) Diagnosis. Belonging in species group marginata, of García Aldrete et al. (2013). Differing from E. marginata New & Thonton by having the central sclerite of the hypandrium convex anteriorly, with long setae on the posterior corners, with a median stout posterior process, narrowing distally, apically straight, underlaid by a bifid posterior process, each arm distally curved outwards. Color (in 80% ethanol). Compound eyes black, ocelli hyaline, with ochre centripetal crescents, head pattern (Fig. 39). Scape and pedicel brown, f1-f3 pale brown. Legs with coxae and trochanters brown, femora pale brown; tibiae proximally dark brown, then pale brown; tarsomere 1 pale brown, tarsomeres 2–3 brown. Forewings veins brown, a wide, marginal pigmented band from R 4+5 to CuP , with a small, hyaline area on each side of vein ends, at wing margin, from M 1 to M 4; Rs and crossvein Rs-M dark brown. Pterostigma peripherally pale brown, with small irregular brown spots (Fig. 40). Hindwings with a homogeneous brown band from R 4+5 to A 1; veins brown (Fig. 41). Morphology. As in diagnosis, plus the following: Head vertex emarginate; compound eyes without interommatidial setae (Fig. 39). Outer cusp of lacinial tip broad, with four denticles (Fig. 42). Forewing pterostigma basally narrow, wider in the middle, narrowing posteriorly, areola postica tall, wide, with round apex, slanted posteriorly, M with four primary branches (Fig. 40). It is close to E. picta New, E. pictaoides García Aldrete, E. caldasi n. sp., E. vaupesiana n. sp., E. ecuatoriana n. sp., and E. lasdelicias n. sp., differing from them by the posterior processes of the central sclerite of the hypandrium, and by details of the mesal endophallic sclerite and antero-mesal endophallic sclerites. Color (in 80% ethanol). Head ochraceous, with dark brown pattern as illustrated (Fig. 51). Compound eyes black, ocelli hyaline, with ochre centripetal crescents. Legs: hind- and mid- coxae creamy, with proximal dark brown stripes; fore coxa ochraceous with proximal dark brown stripe. Femora, tibia and tarsi pale brown. This species is dedicated to "El Sabio" Francisco José de Caldas y Tenorio (1768–1816), first Colombian scientist and one of the precursors of the fight for the independence of Colombia; whose research, curiosity and desire for knowledge were valuable in a time of darkness for America and Colombia.

Euplocania katios n. sp. Male Figs 25–30 Diagnosis. Related to E. badonneli New & Thornton and to E. equorum n. sp., differing from them by having the posterior border of the mesal endophallic sclerite denticulate and with a pair of rounded antero-lateral processes. Color (in 80% ethanol). Head pattern (Fig. 27). Compound eyes black, ocelli hyaline with ochre centripetal crescents. Vertex, clypeus and labrum pale brown. Genae with transversal dark brown stripe. Maxillary palps pale brown, Mx4 distally more pigmented. Tergal lobes of meso- and metathorax dark brown, with lateral border clear. Thoracic pleura dark brown, with white spots. Coxae pale brown. Forewings veins brown, with a dark brown spot at wing margin. Pterostigma dark brown (Fig. 25). Hindwings hyaline, veins brown, with a brown spot at wing margin (Fig. 26). Abdomen creamy, with dark subcuticular spots. Central sclerite of hypandrium brown, with median Y-shaped dark brown mark. Postero-lateral processes ochraceous. Epiproct and paraprocts pale brown; paraprocts with dark brown semi-circular band on outer border of sensory fields. Morphology. Head (Fig. 27): H/MxW: 1.49; compound eyes large, H/d: 3.07; H/D: 2.21; IO/MxW: 0.45. Outer cusp of lacinial tip broad, with seven denticles. Mx4/Mx2: 2.5. Forewings (Fig. 25): L/W: 2.5. Pterostigma: lp/wp: 3.37. Right wing anomalous, without areola postica; areola postica present in left wing, wide and low with rounded and flattened apex. Hindwings (Fig. 26): l/w: 2.56. Central sclerite of hypandrium convex anteriorly with a slight notch in the middle, concave posteriorly, latero-posterior processes distally directed inwards, side sclerites triangular (Fig. 30). Phallosome (Fig. 29) anteriorly V-shaped, with slender side struts; external parameres slightly sclerotized, distally broad and rounded; two pairs of endophallic sclerites, and one posterior transverse mesal sclerite. Paraprocts (Fig. 28) almost elliptic, with a dense distal setal field; sensory fields with 28 trichobothria on basal rosettes. Epiproct (Fig. 28) broad, semitriangular, rounded posteriorly, setal fields on sides and anteriorly; one macroseta on each side. Measurements. The specific name, a noun in apposition, refers to the type locality; the Katios National Natural Park, an UNESCO World Natural Heritage, important in the fauna and flora exchange between Central and South America.
