Child abuse (cA) is currently considered a public health problem, which magnitude and consequences aggravate the circle of collective misery in latin America. It is a medical-socio-legal problem that begins with ignorance of its characteristics, causes and consequences, and also of the supporting legal framework. The objective of the present study is to describe the characteristics of maternal knowledge in regard to cA. Methods. An observational, cross-sectional, survey-type study was applied to mothers of pediatric patients attending the outpatient clinic at the hospital universitario de los Andes in Mérida, venezuela, from January to november 2021. Results. The population universe consisted of 10% of patients who come monthly to this health center; 150 mothers participated, mostly between 20 and 34 years of age, with a high educational level, belonging to biparental families and with outside home jobs. The survey established that information dissemination means about cA were the audiovisual media. Knowledge is adequate, with high average scores, in indicators such as recognition of cA situations, behaviors to follow and social consequences. It is also adequate, although with low average scores, when identifying the profile of the abused child and its causes. The total scores result in poor and inadequate identification of global indicators. Mothers with university studies and outside home jobs are the most susceptible to educational intervention. Conclusion: the psychosocial deterioration associated with the lack of knowledge of child mistreatment requires the implementation of medical, psychological, educational and legal interventions in order to promote individual and social responsibility towards this phenomenon. BackgroundThere are many clinical practice guidelines (CPGs) in Nephrology; however, there is no evidence that their availability has improved the clinical competence of physicians or the outcome of patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD). This study was aimed to evaluate the effect of implementation of CPGs for early CKD on family physicians (FP) clinical competence and subsequently on kidney function preservation of type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM2) patients at a primary healthcare setting.MethodsA prospective educative intervention (40-h) based on CPGs for Prevention, Diagnosis and Treatment of Early CKD was applied to FP; a questionnaire to evaluate clinical competence was applied at the beginning and end of the educative intervention (0 and 2 months), and 12 months afterwards. DM2 patients with CKD were evaluated during 1-year of follow-up with estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) and albuminuria.ResultsAfter educative intervention, there was a significant increase in FP clinical competence compared to baseline; although it was reduced after 1 year, it remained higher compared to baseline. One-hundred thirteen patients with early nephropathy (58 stage 1, 55 stage 2) and 28 with overt nephropathy (23 stage 3, 5 stage 4) were studied. At final evaluation, both groups maintained eGFR [(mean change) early 0.20 ± 19 pNS; overt 0.51 ± 13 mL/min pNS], whereas albuminuria/creatinuria (early −67 ± 155 p < 0.0001; overt −301 ± 596 mg/g p < 0.0001), systolic blood pressure (early −10 ± 18 p < 0.05; overt −8 ± 20 mmHg p < 0.05), and total cholesterol (early −11 ± 31 p < 0.05; overt −17 ± 38 mg/dL p < 0.05) decreased. Diastolic blood pressure, waist circumference and LDL-cholesterol were also controlled in early nephropathy patients.ConclusionsCPGs for Prevention, Diagnosis and Treatment of CKD, by means of an educative intervention increases FP clinical competence and improves renal function in DM2 patients with CKD.

5. Does a Physical Education-based fitness program benefit everyone regardless of the students' physical fitness profile? A cluster-randomized controlled trial.

The objective of the present study was to compare the effect of a Physical Education-based physical fitness program on physical fitness and physical activity levels among secondary school students with healthy and unhealthy physical fitness profile. One hundred and seven students (final sample 95, 48% females; M
age = 12.39 ± 0.75) from five pre-established classes of 7th -8th grade of Secondary Education were cluster-randomly assigned into control group (n = 19) or experimental group (n = 76). Then, according to students' cardiorespiratory fitness baseline, the experimental group was divided into healthy and unhealthy physical fitness profiles. The experimental group students performed a physical fitness program twice a week for nine weeks. The control group worked a different content during the same time and with the same frequency, but without emphasizing on the physical fitness improvement. Before and after the physical fitness program, students' physical fitness was objectively measured by the 20-meter shuttle run test. Participants' physical activity levels were objectively measured through a heart rate monitor (Polar RS300X, Finland) during Physical Education sessions. Results of the one-way analysis of variance showed that both students with healthy and unhealthy physical fitness profiles statistically significantly improved their physical fitness levels after the program (p < 0.01) and had higher statistically significantly physical activity levels during the Physical Education sessions (p < 0.01). Although a Physical Education-based physical fitness program seems to have a similar effect on students with different physical fitness profiles, students with an unhealthy profile obtain more benefits on physical activity levels during the Physical Education sessions. El presente trabajo de fin de grado tiene como objetivo comparar la efectividad de dos materiales didácticos para trabajar el soporte vital básico con el alumnado de Educación Infantil. Para ello, se diseñó una intervención educativa en una escuela pública de Santiago de Compostela con cuatro grupos experimentales de entre 4 y 6 años. La propuesta constaba de dos sesiones formativas sobre principios básicos de actuación en caso de parada cardiorrespiratoria a través de unas cartas de bajo coste o un libro sin fin. La evaluación analizó la capacidad a corto plazo del alumnado para actuar ante una emergencia de este tipo una vez que se impartió la formación y un mes después. Los resultados mostraron que ambos materiales contribuyen al aprendizaje, aunque en el caso del libro se detecta una mejor respuesta en la llamada a los servicios de emergencias médicas, la adecuada comunicación de los hechos durante la llamada y la realización correcta de todos los pasos de la cadena de supervivencia, pudiendo considerarlo más efectivo, O presente traballo de fin de grao ten como obxectivo comparar a efectividade de dous materiais didácticos para traballar o soporte vital básico co alumnado de Educación Infantil. Para iso, deseñouse unha intervención educativa nunha escola pública de Santiago de Compostela con catro grupos experimentais de entre 4 e 6 anos. A proposta constaba de dúas sesións formativas sobre principios básicos de actuación en caso de parada cardiorrespiratoria a través dunhas cartas de baixo custo ou un libro sen fin. A avaliación analizou a capacidade a curto prazo do alumnado para actuar ante unha emerxencia deste tipo unha vez que se impartiu a formación e un mes despois. Os resultados amosaron que ambos materiais contribúen á aprendizaxe, aínda que no caso do libro detéctase unha mellor resposta na chamada aos servizos de emerxencias médicas, a adecuada comunicación dos feitos durante a chamada e a realización correcta de todos os pasos da cadea de supervivencia, podendo consideralo máis efectivo, The objective of this end-of-degree project is to compare the effectiveness of two didactic materials to work on basic life support with Early Education students. For this purpose, an educational intervention in a public school in Santiago de Compostela was designed with four experimental groups between 4 and 6 years old. The proposal consisted of two training sessions on basic principles of action in case of cardiorespiratory arrest through low-cost cards or an endless book. The evaluation analyzed the short-term capacity of the students to act in an emergency of this type once the training was given and a month later. The results showed that both materials contribute to learning, although in the case of the book a better response is detected in the call to the emergency medical services, the adequate communication of the facts during the call and the correct performance of all the steps of the chain of survival, being thus considered more effective

Introduction: suicidal behavior in adolescents from Villa Clara is a frequent motive for hospital admission since 2008 and is related to inappropriate attitudes of parents in the face of negative emotional states. Objective: to develop a psychotherapeutic intervention to modify attitudes to negative emotions in parents of adolescents with suicidal intent. Method: a pre-experiment of psychotherapeutic intervention was carried out in 43 parents. In convenience sampling, 15 parents were worked on, who underwent the psychotherapeutic intervention with a criteria of before and after, for 10 weeks. Clinical histories were reviewed and interviews were carried out, questionnaires were applied and some descriptive variables were worked on. The psychotherapeutic intervention was defined as an independent variable, and the perception of emotions, frequency, motives, emotions as facilitators of thought, understanding, analysis and attitude towards them, were taken as dependent variables. Results: worry predominated among emotions. Before the intervention, the attitude towards predominant emotional states was the lack of control (isolation, desires to die, aggression, crying), caused by a previous negative thought. After the process the parents appropriated tools to control negative emotions and have positive thoughts, and to improve family relationships as an alternative to solve problems. Conclusions: after the design and implementation of the psychotherapeutic intervention, the results show a clear improvement in the emotional state of the parents because the magnitude of the emotions takes a positive way. Introduction: Education on sexual and reproductive health is important because in this way adolescents have tools to decide about their future, prevent risks to their health and live a full life. Objective: to determine the effectiveness of an educational intervention on reproductive health in adolescents. Methods: A quasi-experimental study, before-after type without control group, was carried out through an educational intervention in adolescents from the Guaguí de Mandinga medical office of the Modesto Grimón Cardoza teaching polyclinic of the Baracoa municipality during the period March 2019 to February 2020. The universe of the study consisted of 84 adolescents dispensed from the clinic, selecting an intentional non-probabilistic sample of 70 adolescents. The information collected was processed in a computerized way, presenting the results in 2 × 2 contingency tables. - Abstract
The main objective of this study is to investigate the improvement of the communication skills of children with ASD through the use of ICT in educational centres. The research design involves the participation of teachers specialising in Special Education, Primary Education and Early Childhood Education. The procedure evaluates whether these participants enrich the educational intervention and inclusion of children with ASD through ICT. All of this is carried out using a quantitative method, in which the results are collected by means of forms created in Google Forms. That is why, in this scientific article, all the key information of the theoretical foundation on which the research approach is currently based is presented. This article presents the results obtained with respect to the work experience of the participating teachers, the use of ICT with students with ASD and the improvement of communication skills. 86% of the participants use ICT methodologies and they do observe an improvement in communication skills through the support of visual and audio tools., Este estudio presenta como objetivo principal investigar acerca de la mejora de las habilidades comunicativas de niños con TEA, mediante el empleo de las TIC en los centros educativos. Para dicho diseño de investigación, se cuenta con la participación de docentes, tanto especializados en Educación Especial, como en Educación Primaria e Infantil. En el procedimiento se evalúa que dichos participantes enriquezcan la intervención educativa y la inclusión en niños con TEA por medio de las TIC. Todo ello se lleva a cabo contando con un método de tipo cuantitativo, en el que se recogen los resultados por medio de formularios creados en Google Forms. Es por ello que, en este artículo científico, se presenta toda la información clave de la fundamentación teórica en la que se basa actualmente el planteamiento de la investigación. El presente artículo presenta los resultados obtenidos respecto a la experiencia laboral de los docentes participantes, el empleo de las TIC en el alumnado con TEA y la mejoría de las habilidades comunicativas. El 86% de los participantes llevan a cabo metodologías TIC y sí que observan una mejora en las habilidades comunicativas mediante el apoyo de herramientas visuales y sonoras.

[Resumen] En las últimas décadas, en las sociedades desarrolladas se está produciendo un profundo cambio demográfico caracterizado por un progresivo envejecimiento de la población. En esta etapa de la vida se producen importantes cambios bio-psico-sociales que convierten a la población de edad avanzada en un colectivo altamente susceptible de presentar alteraciones nutricionales. Es por eso, que son necesarias las intervenciones educativas, con el objetivo de mejorar la alimentación, actividad física y composición corporal. Teniendo en cuenta los beneficios de la Dieta Atlántica (DA) se considera aconsejable la aplicación de programas educativos en el ámbito de la atención primaria con el fin de fomentar hábitos y estilos de vida más saludables. Objetivo: Determinar la efectividad de una intervención educativa con Dieta Atlántica en población de entre 65 y 79 años en el ámbito de Atención Primaria para conseguir una mejora en su estado nutricional. Metodología: Se realizará un estudio de tipo cuantitativo, cuasiexperimental y prospectivo en la población de entre 65 y 79 años en el ámbito de Atención primaria en las siete áreas sanitarias gallegas. Mediante cuestionarios se recogerá la adherencia a la DA, nivel de actividad física, antropometría y una muestra sanguínea en 1248 sujetos seleccionados aleatoriamente en 52 centros de Atención Primaria de la comunidad gallega elegidos de manera aleatoria también. Important bio-psycho-social changes take place at this stage of life, making the elderly population a group that is highly susceptible to presenting nutritional alterations. That is why educational interventions are necessary, with the aim of improving nutrition, physical activity and body composition. Taking into account the benefits of the Atlantic Diet (AD), it is considered advisable to apply educational programs in the field of primary care in order to promote healthier habits and lifestyles. Objective: To determine the effectiveness of an educational intervention with the Atlantic Diet in a population between 65 and 79 years of age in the field of Primary Care to achieve an improvement in their nutritional status. Metodology: A quantitative, quasi-experimental and prospective study will be carried out in the population between 65 and 79 years of age in the field of Primary Care in the seven Galician health areas. Through questionnaires, adherence to the AD, level of physical activity, anthropometry and a blood sample will be collected in 1248 randomly selected subjects in 52 Primary Care centers of the Galician community also randomly chosen. Three educational sessions will be held in each of them and measurements will be taken again at 6, 18 and 30 months, in order to be able to assess adherence.

This contribution questions the social inscription of the bilingual Diwan scheme in Britain, nearly 40 years after the early stages of a project that defends the choice of a total immersion in the Breton language, in a regional context where the number of ‘natural' speakers continues to decline. Viewed in its dimensions "soilless", the educational intervention is questioned here through its psychosociological, organizational, institutional and social dimensions. The analyses are grounded on 48 semi-structured interviews with management teams, teachers, students and parents, as well as in situ observations in 10 schools. The results help to highlight the basis on which the Diwan scheme was built, but they also point out tensions and debates, regarding the actions and the actors as well as the priorities they expressed. Trabajo fin de grado. Defendido en junio de 2022. El delirio es una patología que produce una disfunción cerebral aguda que genera complicaciones relacionados con el nivel de conciencia y funciones cognitivas. El objetivo es evaluar el impacto de una actividad formativa sobre el conocimiento del delirio y la escala validada del delirio CAM-ICU entre los profesionales sanitarios en Unidades de Cuidados Intensivos (UCI). Este proyecto es un estudio cuasi-experimental pre-post con un solo grupo, longitudinal y prospectivo. Se realizará una intervención formativa y posteriormente se realizará una evaluación mediante un cuestionario al inicio y al final de la intervención. Actualmente existe una ausencia de protocolos estandarizados respecto al diagnóstico del delirio por parte de los profesionales sanitarios. Abstract: Delirium is a pathology that produces an acute brain dysfunction which generates complications related to the level of consciousness and cognitive functions. The objective is to assess the impact of a formative activity on the knowledge of delirium and the validated CAM-ICU delirium scale among healthcare professionals in Intensive Care Units (ICU). This project is a quasi-experimental pre-post study with a single group, longitudinal and prospective. A training intervention will be carried out, followed by a questionnaire evaluation at the beginning and end of the intervention. Les persones amb el Trastorn de l’Espectre Autista (TEA) es troben amb diverses limitacions que dificulten el seu procés de socialització, com ara el desenvolupament de les emocions. Les persones amb autisme tenen dificultats a l’hora d’identificar, comprendre i expressar les emocions, sigui les pròpies o de les persones del seu entorn, aquest és un aspecte que cal tenir en compte, ja que dificulta el seu desenvolupament personal, social i integral. Per tant, aquest Treball de Final de Grau pretén oferir una proposta d’intervenció educativa per tal de millorar i treballar l’àmbit emocional dels infants amb autisme. D’altra banda, inclou la conceptualització i el desenvolupament de les emocions de les persones amb autisme, ja que són aspectes que cal tenir en compte a l’hora de realitzar la intervenció. Per acabar, s’elabora una guia que recull la programació de la proposta educativa per tal que futurs professionals de la pedagogia, la psicologia i la psicopedagogia puguin aplicar durant les seves primeres intervencions People with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) find various limitations that hinder their socialization process, as well as the development of emotions. People with autism have difficulties when it comes to identifying, understanding and expressing emotions, their own or from other people who surround, this is an aspect that must be taken into account, since it hinders their personal and social development. Therefore, this final degree project intends to offer an education intervention proposal in order to improve and work on the emotional realm of children with autism. Other than that, this work included the conceptualization and development of the emotions of people with autism, since they are aspects that must be taken into account when carrying out the intervention. Finally, a guide is created that summarizes the programming of the educational proposal so that future professionals of pedagogy, psychology and psychopedagogy can apply during their first interventions

Se realizó una intervención educativa en 30 trabajadoras con factor de riesgo de cáncer de mamas en el Policlínico Universitario "Ramón López Peña" de Santiago de Cuba, desde septiembre del 2008 hasta marzo del 2009, con vista a incrementar algunos conocimientos al respecto. Se conformaron 2 subgrupos con 15 participantes cada uno para desarrollar las diferentes actividades del proyecto educativo, las cuales serían valoradas antes de la acción instructiva y 6 meses después de efectuada. Para validar la información se usó la prueba de Mc Nemar y se obtuvo una modificación significativa de los conocimientos sobre el tema.An educative intervention of 30 workers with risk factors for breast cancer was carried out in "Ramón López Peña" University Polyclinic in Santiago de Cuba, from September 2008 to March 2009, in order to increase some knowledge on the topic. Two subgroups with 15 participants each were created to develop the different activities of the educative project, which will be assessed before the instructive action and 6 months after its onset. A Mc Nemar text was used to validate the information and a significant modification to knowledge on the topic was obtained.

El insuficiente nivel de conocimientos sobre salud e higiene bucal deficiente continúan siendo un problema en gran parte de la población. El objetivo de esta investigación es identificar el nivel de conocimientos sobre salud e higiene bucal en los niños de la escuela primaria "Gerardo Medina" del municipio Pinar del Río, antes y después de realizada la intervención educativa, evaluando así su eficacia. Se realizó un estudio en el período comprendido desde enero a noviembre de 2007. La muestra estuvo constituida por 142 niños, 70 del sexo masculino y 72 del femenino, en edades comprendidas entre los 9 y 11 años. Se les aplicó una encuesta con el fin de determinar sus conocimientos sobre salud bucal y se determinó el IHB-S para evaluar su higiene bucal antes y después de realizada la intervención. Los estudiantes de estomatología actuaron como promotores de salud bucal. Los datos fueron procesados mediante las pruebas, t de Student, Ji cuadrado y de comparación de 2 proporciones, con niveles de confianza del 95 % y 99 %. Los resultados mostraron que antes de la intervención existían bajos niveles de conocimientos sobre salud bucal, así como deficiente higiene bucal en la mayoría de los niños, mostrando ambas variables una estrecha relación; después de la intervención se alcanzó una mejoraría significativa en los conocimientos y la higiene bucal. Se concluye con una eficacia del programa educativo participativo aplicado y de los métodos y medios de enseñanza utilizados, dado por los cambios favorables alcanzados después de realizada la intervención.The poor level of knowledge about dental health and hygiene is still a health problem in part of the population. The aimed of this research paper was to identify the level of knowledge, children in "Gerardo Medina" Primary School, Pinar del Rio had before and after the establishment of the educative intervention and assessing its effectiveness. The study was conducted during the period of January-November 2007. The sample was comprised of 142 children, 70 male and 72 female (9-11 years old). A survey with the purpose of determining their level of knowledge about dental health was applied showing the IHB-S to assess their dental hygiene before and after the establishment of the intervention. Dentist's students carried out health promotion. Data were processed by means of Student's test, Ji square test and a 2-rate comparison test with confidence levels of 95% and 99%. Results showed that before the educative intervention students showed low levels of knowledge about dental health; as well as a deficient hygiene in the majority of the children where both variables had a close relationship; a significant improvement was observed after the intervention. Concluding that, favourable results were obtained after the intervention due to the effectiveness of the educative intervention, the participative program, the methods and the teaching aids applied.

This article deals with the intervention related to a situation that involves a sector of the university community, which suffers from a weakness in terms of the use of investigative skills, consequently, it lacks a strategy that allows its formation. Its general objective is to describe an educational intervention of technological strategies to enhance the investigative capacities in the participants of the Open National University (UNA), Trujillo Local Center, Venezuela. The methodology used is framed in a documentary design characterized by a field one, oriented from a case study perspective. In capturing the information, the techniques of direct observation, unstructured interview and the researcher's diary are used to record it. The sample under study is made up of five teachers and twenty students who in turn are considered as research subjects. Among the most outstanding results, mention is made of the formation of groups that allows in-depth analysis of the problematic situation based on their integration, as well as the awareness of social subjects about the importance of implementing technological tools in educational activities., El presente artículo trata sobre la intervención relacionada con una situación que involucra un sector de la comunidad universitaria, la cual padece una debilidad en cuanto al uso de habilidades investigativas, en consecuencia, carece de una estrategia que permita su formación. El mismo, tiene como objetivo general, describir una intervención educativa de estrategias tecnológicas para potenciar las capacidades investigativas en los participantes de la Universidad Nacional Abierta (UNA), Centro Local Trujillo, Venezuela. La metodología utilizada se enmarca en un diseño documental caracterizado por uno de campo, orientado desde una perspectiva de estudio de casos. En la captación sobre la información se utiliza las técnicas de observación directa, entrevista no estructurada y para su registro el diario del investigador. La muestra objeto de estudio se conforma por cinco docentes y veinte estudiantes que a su vez son consideradas como sujetos de investigación. Entre los resultados más resaltantes se menciona la formación de colectivos que permite el análisis profundo de la situación problemática con base en su integración, así como la sensibilización de los sujetos sociales acerca de la importancia de implementar las herramientas tecnológicas en el actuar educativo.

Plagiarism in higher education is a widespread and complex issue. Students' understanding of plagiarism differs as a result of combining their prior learning about referencing with their current experience of institutional policies and generic resources. Plagiarism was identified as a major learning issue in a core second-year undergraduate accounting course at an Australian university. The purpose of this field study was to implement and evaluate an educative, integrated, discipline-specific intervention designed to address this learning issue. In the study, the theoretical and practical components of understanding plagiarism are identified asconceptualisationandapplication. Evaluation of students’ questionnaire responses pre and post the implementation of the intervention showed an improvement in their understanding of plagiarism, both conceptually and in the application of their knowledge. Furthermore, students’ reflections evidenced that they perceived positive changes in their understanding of plagiarism post intervention. [ABSTRACT FROM PUBLISHER]

- Abstract
The increasing need for socio-economical and educative measures, targeting the development of an entrepreneurship culture, makes essential the accurate definition of the construct. This, together with a measure to provide a baseline of students' entrepreneurship would facilitate the assessment of European and state government policies and interventions. The aim of the study is to provide an understanding of the entrepreneurial attitudes in the Spanish educative context, from which the implementation and assessment of entrepreneurship culture and education programs could be developed. 524 students (267 high school and 257 university students) answered the Entrepreneurship Attitudes Scale. Descriptive statistics and parametric and non-parametric multivariate analyses of variance were developed, including gender and educational stage as independent variables. Results showed differences between genders on some entrepreneurship dimensions, and also offered criteria values for future research and interventions in the field. En este trabajo queda reflejada la idea de la importancia de trabajar las emociones, más concretamente los miedos, en las aulas de Educación Primaria. Para justificar esto, en el marco teórico se recoge tanto la definición de miedo, como clasificaciones de los miedos evolutivos en función de la edad de los niños, las diferencias entre los términos relacionados con esta emoción (fobia, ansiedad o pánico) y algunas pautas de intervención que pueden ser útiles en situaciones de miedo infantil, de manera que se fundamenta teóricamente la posterior intervención educativa con una seria de actividades que tienen como fin trabajar los miedos infantiles para un curso de 2º de Primaria., This paper reflects the importance of working on emotions, especially fears, in Primary School. To justify this, the theoretical framework collects either the definition of fear and the classification of evolutive fears according to children’s age, the differences between the terms related to this emotion (phobia, anxiety or panic) and some intervention guidelines that can be useful in childhood fears situations, in a manner that the posterior educational intervention is theoretically fundamented with a series of activities with the finality of working on childhood fears in a second grade of Primary School.

24. Intervención educativa en centros de justicia juvenil. Una aproximación a sus discursos y prácticas

- Abstract
His article presents a study on the educational model of Juvenile Justice Centers in Spain, carried out between the years 2017 and 2018, based on the previous results obtained in the framework of a broader previous investigation on the professionalization of social educators. The work focuses on the analysis of conceptual categories and educational measures carried out in youth detention centers. The main methodological elements were, on the one hand, the analysis of the official production documents (protocols and intervention manuals) and, on the other, ethnographic techniques such as direct observation in the centers and in-depth interviews with the educators. The results obtained show that the conceptual-ization of the “minor offender” category is accompanied by a series of unfavorable attributes –registered in the scientific, legal, political and media fields– that build a certain stereotyped image of young people. These perception schemes guide an intervention model that places the accent on the supposed deficiencies of the subject. The conclusions referred that said “brands” work, both in programs and in practice, as “labels” that hinder the possibility of guid-ing an educational action open to new social paths for these young people., Este artigo apresenta um estudo sobre o modelo educacional dos Centros de Justiça Juvenil na Espanha, realizado entre os anos de 2017 e 2018, com base nos resultados anteriores obtidos no âmbito de uma investigação anterior mais ampla sobre a profissionali-zação de educadores sociais. O trabalho enfoca a análise de categorias conceituais e medidas educacionais realizadas em centros de detenção juvenil. Os principais elementos metodológi-cos foram, por um lado, a análise dos documentos oficiais de produção (protocolos e manuais de intervenção) e, por outro, técnicas etnográficas, como observação direta nos centros e entrevistas em profundidade com os educadores. Os resultados obtidos mostram que a con-ceituação da categoria “menor infrator” é acompanhada de uma série de atributos desfavo-ráveis - registrados nos campos científico, jurídico, político e midiático - que constroem uma certa imagem estereotipada dos jovens. Esses esquemas de perceção orientam um modelo de intervenção que enfatiza as supostas deficiências do sujeito. As conclusões mencionam que as “marcas” funcionam, tanto nos programas quanto na prática, como “rótulos” que im-pedem a possibilidade de orientar uma ação educativa aberta a novos caminhos sociais para esses jovens., Este artículo presenta un estudio sobre el modelo educativo de los Centros de Justicia Juvenil en España, realizado entre los años 2018 y 2019 a partir de los resultados previos obtenidos en el marco de una investigación más amplia sobre la profesionalización de los educadores sociales. El trabajo se centra en el análisis de las categorías conceptuales y las medidas educativas que se realizan en centros de internamiento para jóvenes. Los elementos metodológicos principales fueron, por un lado, el análisis de los documentos de producción oficial (protocolos y manuales de intervención) y, por otro, técnicas de carácter etnográfico como la observación directa en los centros y las entrevistas en profundidad a los educa-dores. Los resultados obtenidos muestran que la conceptualización de la categoría “menor infractor” viene acompañada de una serie de atributos desfavorables –inscritos en el campo científico, jurídico, político y mediático– que construyen una cierta imagen estereotipada de los jóvenes. Estos esquemas de percepción orientan un modelo de intervención que pone el acento en las características negativas que acompañan a la categoría. Las conclusiones refirieron que dichas “marcas” funcionan, tanto en los programas como en la práctica, a modo de “etiquetas” que dificultan la posibilidad de orientar una acción educativa abierta a nuevos recorridos sociales para estos jóvenes.

25. Aplicación Alcoholism: una vía para el desarrollo de conocimientos sobre el alcoholismo

Introduction: alcoholism nowadays is a rising problem in adolescent’s population. Objective: to certificate an App that contributes to increase knowledge related to alcoholism for the students of the Instituto Politécnico “General Luis A. Milanés Tamayo” in Granma. Method: in March 2019, at the Facultad de Ciencias Médicas in Bayamo, Granma, it was created an App for contributing on the students´ knowledge about alcoholism. Tools used were JClic and Gimpshop 2.8, with GPL/Linux license. To determine its efficacy, from february to march 2019 a cohort of 40 students of the total (397 students) were selected by stratified random sampling to be surveyed out. Results: 77.5% of the students, before the App usage, showed a low level of knowledge about concerning issue and a high level (90.0%) after the App implementation. Conclusion: the design and implementation of the Alcoholism App contributes to the students' appropriation of knowledge on the subject of alcoholism, who showed adequate satisfaction with its use., Introdução:o alcoolismo constitui um problema atual e crescente durante a etapa da adolescência. Objetivo:validar um aplicativo para contribuir com o conhecimento sobre alcoolismo em alunos do Instituto Politécnico “General Luis A. Milanés Tamayo” de Granma. This article presents the advances in the educational research and intervention. The objective is to understand the identity processes in the women of the community throughout and after the earthquake. For more than two years, we worked with women who voluntarily agreed to join a support group. In biweekly sessions, recreational and reflexive situations were raised that caused the participants to recognize themselves on their personal value, to share the experiences of their particular stories and their daily lives, to link with each other and make decisions in order to build new experiences that help new forms of individual and collective identity., En este artículo se presentan los avances de una investigación e intervención educativa cuyo objetivo es la comprensión de los procesos identitarios en las mujeres de una comunidad rural apoyada después del terremoto de 2017. Durante más de dos años se trabajó con mujeres que aceptaron integrarse a un grupo de apoyo. En las sesiones quincenales se plantearon situaciones lúdicas y reflexivas que fueron haciendo que las participantes se reconocieran desde su valor personal, compartieran las experiencias de sus historias particulares y de su cotidianidad, se vincularan entre ellas para tomar decisiones y construir nuevas experiencias que, a su vez, fueron favoreciendo nuevas formas de identidad individual y colectiva.

28. Can the implementation of clinical practice guidelines improve clinical competence of physicians and kidney function of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus?

Background: There are many clinical practice guidelines (CPGs) in Nephrology; however, there is no evidence that their availability has improved the clinical competence of physicians or the outcome of patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD). This study was aimed to evaluate the effect of implementation of CPGs for early CKD on family physicians (FP) clinical competence and subsequently on kidney function preservation of type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM2) patients at a primary healthcare setting., Methods: A prospective educative intervention (40-h) based on CPGs for Prevention, Diagnosis and Treatment of Early CKD was applied to FP; a questionnaire to evaluate clinical competence was applied at the beginning and end of the educative intervention (0 and 2 months), and 12 months afterwards. DM2 patients with CKD were evaluated during 1-year of follow-up with estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) and albuminuria., Results: After educative intervention, there was a significant increase in FP clinical competence compared to baseline; although it was reduced after 1 year, it remained higher compared to baseline. One-hundred thirteen patients with early nephropathy (58 stage 1, 55 stage 2) and 28 with overt nephropathy (23 stage 3, 5 stage 4) were studied. At final evaluation, both groups maintained eGFR [(mean change) early 0.20 ± 19 pNS; overt 0.51 ± 13 mL/min pNS], whereas albuminuria/creatinuria (early -67 ± 155 p < 0.0001; overt -301 ± 596 mg/g p < 0.0001), systolic blood pressure (early -10 ± 18 p < 0.05; overt -8 ± 20 mmHg p < 0.05), and total cholesterol (early -11 ± 31 p < 0.05; overt -17 ± 38 mg/dL p < 0.05) decreased. Trabajo fin de máster. Defendido en 2021. Máster Universitario en Formación del Profesorado de Educación Secundaria Obligatoria, Bachillerato, Formación Profesional y Enseñanza de Idiomas. Introducción: La hospitalización prolongada en la edad pediátrica supone una interrupción de la continuidad escolar. Para ello se han creado unos espacios en los hospitales, que hacen frente al freno del proceso educativo. Estas áreas pedagógicas creadas, llamadas aulas hospitalarias, ofrecen la continuidad educativa, favoreciendo la reinserción del niño a su centro escolar de referencia una vez finalizada la estancia hospitalaria. Los docentes que realizan la intervención educativa en estos espacios son figuras esenciales, cuya labor es ofrecer medidas de actuación a las necesidades requeridas por el niño en esta situación especial. Objetivo: Valorar y analizar de una forma detallada la figura del docente y la intervención educativa que realiza en las aulas hospitalarias. Método: Se ha realizado una revisión bibliográfica, a través de la lectura crítica y análisis de artículos y documentos que abordan la labor e intervención del docente en las aulas hospitalarias, así como características y formación que debe presentar para ello. Resultados: Características específicas tales como la flexibilidad o la adaptabilidad son clave en la intervención realizada a niños hospitalizados, para poder hacer frente a sus necesidades específicas. Se realizan distintos tipos de actividades tanto curriculares, lúdicas y psicopedagógicas para favorecer la atención en el hospital. Por ello las distintas funciones del docente hospitalario no se basan simplemente en las meramente curriculares, sino que integran el nuevo entorno del alumno, así como sus emociones, provocado por la situación especial en la que se encuentran. Discusión: El presente trabajo aporta datos sobre las características y competencias que debe presentar un docente hospitalario, así como las funciones que realiza. También se aborda el acceso y formación de esta figura en dichos espacios. Abstract: Introduction: Prolonged hospitalization in pediatric age implies an interruption of school continuity. In order to minimize this, some spaces have been created in hospitals, where the impact of the interruption of the educational process is reduced. These pedagogical areas created, named hospital classrooms, offer educational continuity, favoring the reintegration of the child to its reference school once the hospital stay is over. The teachers who carry out the educational intervention in these spaces are essential figures, whose task is to offer action measures to the needs required by the child in this special situation. Aim: To evaluate and analyze in a detailed manner the figure of the teacher and the educational intervention carried out in hospital classrooms. Method: A literature review has been carried out, through critical reading and analysis of articles and documents that address the work and intervention of the teacher in hospital classrooms, as well as characteristics and training that must be presented for this. Results: Specific characteristics such as flexibility or adaptability are key in the intervention carried out with hospitalized children, in order to provide their specific needs. Different types of curricular, recreational and psycho-pedagogical activities are carried out to favor care in the hospital. Consequently, the different functions of the hospital teacher are not simply based on the merely curricular ones, but instead integrate the new environment of the student, as well as its emotions, caused by the special situation in which they find themselves. Discussion: This work provides data on the characteristics and competencies that a hospital teacher must present, as well as the functions they perform. En este trabajo queda reflejada la idea de la importancia de trabajar las emociones, más concretamente los miedos, en las aulas de Educación Primaria. Para justificar esto, en el marco teórico se recoge tanto la definición de miedo, como clasificaciones de los miedos evolutivos en función de la edad de los niños, las diferencias entre los términos relacionados con esta emoción (fobia, ansiedad o pánico) y algunas pautas de intervención que pueden ser útiles en situaciones de miedo infantil, de manera que se fundamenta teóricamente la posterior intervención educativa con una seria de actividades que tienen como fin trabajar los miedos infantiles para un curso de 2º de Primaria. This paper reflects the importance of working on emotions, especially fears, in Primary School. To justify this, the theoretical framework collects either the definition of fear and the classification of evolutive fears according to children’s age, the differences between the terms related to this emotion (phobia, anxiety or panic) and some intervention guidelines that can be useful in childhood fears situations, in a manner that the posterior educational intervention is theoretically fundamented with a series of activities with the finality of working on childhood fears in a second grade of Primary School. RESUMEN La educación financiera es una de las competencias clave que cualquier persona debería dominar para saber manejar su patrimonio y planear el ámbito financiero de su vida. A pesar de su importancia, es una minoría de personas la que realmente dispone de estas habilidades, lo que termina causando dificultades, antes o después, a quienes desconocen estas ideas. El currículo español, tanto de Primaria como de Secundaria, apenas presta atención a la destreza financiera, relegándola a aspectos secundarios, escasos y atendidos sobre todo por los alumnos que optan por el itinerario de las Ciencias Sociales. Este desinterés acarrea resultados mediocres en pruebas internacionales, como los estudios PISA de competencia financiera, aunque la situación no es desfavorable únicamente con respecto a terceros, sino también considerando únicamente el nivel propio. Este trabajo ofrece una propuesta de intervención basada en la gamificación, que gira en torno al eje de la serie Los Simpson y es complementada con algunos juegos. De esta manera, se persigue una mejor conexión entre el docente y los alumnos para una mayor efectividad de la medida. No obstante, esta no se aplica por el momento. ABSTRACT Financial literacy is one of the key skills that any person should master in order to know how to manage his wealth and to plan the financial sphere of his life. In spite of its importance, it is a minority of people who actually have these abilities, which ends up causing difficulties, sooner or later, for those who are unaware of this knowledge. The Spanish curriculum, both in Primary and Secondary school, barely pays attention to financial aptness, relegating it to secondary aspects, scarce and attended mainly by students who choose the Social Sciences itinerary. This lack of interest leads to poor results in international tests, such as the PISA financial literacy assessments, although the situation is not only unfavorable with respect to third countries, but also considering only one’s own level. This work offers an intervention proposal based on gamification, which revolves around the axis of The Simpsons TV series and is complemented by some games. In this way, a better connection between the teacher and the students is pursued for a greater effectiveness of the measure. However, this is not yet applied. This is a report of a qualitative research realized in an indigenous elementary school with twenty immigrant students. In this school we identified the educative reality in which these boys and girls. We observed the different internal and external conditions which possibilities the educative intervention as well as the labor with these students. We review two analytic levels: the first, the analysis of the Educación Básica sin Fronteras, project that attend migrant students; and second one, a review of the educative intervention. We conclude that is very hard to transform the school when it is in conditions of marginalization. Introduction: the education of patients with diabetes mellitus based on self-care of their health is a social requirement.Objective: design an educational intervention aimed at raising the preparation for self-care of diabetological health of elderly patients dispensed in the office No. 4 of the Teaching Polyclinic "Marcio Manduley Murillo", Centro Habana Municipality, Havana.Method: a descriptive, prospective, cross-sectional and educational intervention study was carried out. The following variables were studied: age, sex, marital status, schooling, type of diabetes, evolution time, metabolic control and complications of this disease. The level of preparation of patients for self-care of diabetes health was explored. An educational intervention aimed at its preparation for self-care of diabetological health was designed, applied and validated.Results: it was more common for patients to be 65 to 69 years old (48.6%), were women (59.8%), divorced (25.0%), with a basic secondary school level (40.3 %), type II diabetes mellitus (90.4%) over 15 years of evolution (40.3%). 72.2% had uncontrolled disease and 52.2% evidence of target organ damage. Only 16.7% had an adequate level of preparation regarding diabetes mellitus, which improved up to 93.0% after applying an educational intervention.Conclusions: the need to educate patients about the topic and the viability of the educational intervention designed to achieve this purpose was expressed., Introdução: a educação de pacientes com diabetes mellitus com base no autocuidado de sua Saúde é uma necesidade social.Objetivo: elaborar uma intervenção educacional com o objetivo de elevar a preparação para o autocuidado da saúde diabetológica de pacientes idosos dispensados no consultório nº 4 da Policlínica de Ensino "Marcio Manduley Murillo", município de Centro Habana, Havana.Método: estudo descritivo, prospectivo, transversal e educacional. Foram estudadas as seguintes variáveis: idade, sexo, estado civil, escolaridade, tipo de diabetes, tempo de evolução, controle metabólico e complicações desta doença. O nível de preparação dos pacientes para o autocuidado da saúde do diabetes foi explorado. Foi projetada, aplicada e validada uma intervenção educativa voltada à sua preparação para o autocuidado da saúde diabetológica.Resultados: os pacientes com idade entre 65 e 69 anos (48,6%) eram mais comuns: mulheres (59,8%), divorciadas (25,0%), com ensino médio básico (40,3%). %), diabetes mellitus tipo II (90,4%) ao longo de 15 anos de evolução (40,3%). 72,2% tinham doença não controlada e 52,2% evidenciam danos nos órgãos-alvo. El cáncer bucal es una enfermedad que ha experimentado un ascenso en los últimos tiempos, es causa de muerte y discapacidad para quienes la padecen, puede ser prevenida con la práctica de estilos de vida saludables. El estudio tiene como objetivo modificar conocimientos sobre cáncer bucal mediante la aplicación de una intervención educativa en los trabajadores de la fábrica de tabaco de Zaza del Medio. Se realizó un estudio de intervención educativa donde fueron utilizados los métodos de investigación del nivel teórico el analítico-sintético, el histórico-lógico y el inductivo-deductivo. Las variables utilizadas fueron: edad con mayor representación para el grupo 40-49 años, sexo con predominio del masculino, nivel de escolaridad donde el preuniversitario fue el más representativo, factores de riesgo y nivel de conocimientos aspectos en los cuales se constató un mal dominio acerca de los mismos. La intervención Educativa permitió mejorar los conocimientos sobre cáncer bucal en los tabaqueros., Oral cancer is a disease that has experienced a rise in recent times, is a cause of death and disability for those who suffer, can be prevented through the practice of healthy lifestyles. The objective of the study is to modify knowledge about oral cancer through the application of an educational intervention in the workers of the tobacco factory of Zaza del Medio. An educational intervention study was carried out where the research methods of the theoretical level were used: analytical-synthetic, historical-logical and inductive-deductive. The variables used were: age with greater representation for the group 40-49 years, sex with predominance of the male, level of education where the pre-university was the most representative, risk factors and level of knowledge aspects in which a bad domain was found about them. The Educational intervention allowed to improve the knowledge about oral cancer in cigar makers.

The main aim was to examine the effects of a physical education-based reinforced program through outdoor physical activities and body expression on cardiorespiratory fitness in secondary students. A secondary aim was to analyze the physical activity levels during the physical education-based development and reinforced programs. A sample of 92 secondary students (M age 12.4 ± 0.7 years), from five classes, were cluster-randomly assigned into 3 groups: an experimental group without a reinforced program of physical activities [non-reinforced group (NRG)], an experimental group with a reinforced program [reinforced group (RG)], and a control group (CG). The NRG and RG students performed a physical fitness development program twice a week for nine weeks. Then, the RG completed a reinforced program through outdoor physical activities and body expression twice a week for six weeks. Students' cardiorespiratory fitness was measured at the beginning and at the end of the development program, as well as at the end of the reinforced program. Physical activity levels were measured objectively through a heart rate monitor and subjectively by a self-reported scale during physical education sessions. The results of the mixed two-way [3 × 3; group (NRG, RG, CG) × time (pre-intervention, post-intervention and post-maintenance)] analysis of covariance [performance (s): F = 11.926, P < 0.001, η2 p = 0.215, d = 1.23; VO 2max (mL/kg/min): F = 9.962, P < 0.001, η2 p = 0.186; d = 1.09], followed by the pairwise comparisons with the Bonferroni adjustment, showed that the RG students maintained their cardiorespiratory fitness levels through reinforced program of outdoor physical activities and body expression (P < 0.001; d = 0.58–0.67). Additionally, both NRG and RG had higher physical activity levels than the control group during the development program (P < 0.05; d = 0.81–3.16). Moreover, the RG had higher physical activity levels after the reinforced program (i.e., maintenance) than the control group and non-reinforced group (P < 0.01; d = 0.71–2.04). A reinforced program of nine weeks (initial development) and six weeks (maintenance thorough other physical education contents) allowed teachers to increase and maintain students' cardiorespiratory fitness levels and to develop other curricular contents at the same time. Recent data, both domestic and from the world over, have shown that the epidemiologic impact of tobacco consumption has a higher increase rate among adolescent population, particularly women, than in the general population. This has highlighted the need to implement preventive intervention programs focused on young people. The school environment seems to be the most adequate space to achieve such a goal. Most school intervention reports aimed at reducing tobacco consumption among students have been carried out in the United States and have both had a positive effect and proven to be cost-effective. In Mexico, there is only one antecedent of a successful prevention program conducted in an elementary school. Results from this suggest that behavioural abilities acquisition reduces the prevalence of tobacco experimentation and promotes cessation among those already using it. Given the lack of educational interventions and the fact that tobacco consumption tends to increase among Mexican high school students, we conducted this study aiming to implement an educational intervention on tobacco consumption among adolescent high school students from the Universidad de Guadalajara, Mexico. Later on we proceeded to evaluate its effect. Material and methods Based on a diagnostic and a literature review from successful anti-tobacco consumption programs, we devised a campaign called «Stop burning yourself out». This lasted for half a school year and included parents, teachers and non-smoking peers. Parents participated in five sessions aimed at promoting abstinence from tobacco consumption at home. Forty-two teachers, trained as campaign mediators, participated. A manual describing the contents from each session was elaborated for quality control purposes. Students themselves participated in four monthly sessions, were given anti-tobacco messages, watched anti-tobacco educational documentaries -under the supervision and discussion of a professor-, and exchanged cigarettes for chewing gum with non-smoking peers. In addition, a Tobacco Clinic was established, a mouth-teeth exam was carried out, and an anti-tobacco poster was displayed at the school. The poster message was changed each month. School measures regarding the ban on cigarettes sale on the school premises were likewise reinforced. Right before starting the campaign and immediately after finishing it, tobacco consumption rates, the type of consumption, the likelihood of using tobacco in the near future and the level of understanding as to the harmful effects on health of tobacco consumption were all evaluated using validated and standardized surveys. All measurements were carried out with an electronic questionnaire. This research had the purpose of investigate the influence of an educative program on stop smoking on first year pupils of medicine and nursery students from Los Andes University, Medicine Faculty. The program was carried out between January-December 2005. The questionnaires were applied to students in order to verify behavioural changes in smokers. Smokers represented 13.89% of medicine students and 7.69% in nursery students. The rates among smokers willing to quit the habit during the next six months increased 20% in medicine students and 83.33 % in nursery students, after the educative intervention. The frequency of relapses on the smoking habit decreased 20% in medicine and 66.6% in nursery. Vacations during Prochaska periods make evident the contribution of supporting activities to achieve behavioural changes concerning tobacco consumption. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The research considered three contexts: family, school, and community. It is expected that this article offer theoretical and practical contributions to improve the understanding of the development of obesity in elementary school-aged children and the "praxis" of health-educational personnel in the prevention of it by means of the development of appropriate educational interventions. RESUMEN En el presente Trabajo de Fin de Grado se lleva a cabo una intervención educativa de carácter feminista dedicada especialmente al alumnado de 3-6 años que esté cursando la Educación Infantil en la Comunidad Autónoma de Cantabria. Cabe destacar que dicha propuesta ha sido puesta en marcha en un aula de cuatro años de un centro educativo de Cantabria. Para ello, en el marco teórico, en primera instancia, se hace un recorrido histórico de las fases que han experimentado las mujeres para conseguir adentrarse en la educación formal. This proposal has been developed within a four-years-old classroom of an education centre in Cantabria. Firstly, it is made a historical itinerary throughout the different phases that women experienced in order to get to formal education. Following, the concepts “feminism” and “gender stereotype” are explained finishing with feminist experiences that are carried out in education centres within the national territory. RESUMEN: El propósito de este Trabajo de Fin de Grado (TFG) consiste en conocer el Trastorno del Espectro Autista (TEA), especialmente en relación a la comunicación social. Para ello, en primer lugar, se realizará un análisis teórico acerca de este trastorno. Así, el resultado será la presentación de un programa de intervención educativa para alumnos de edades comprendidas entre los cinco y seis años con TEA que promueva la comunicación con el sistema aumentativo PECS, la Teoría de la Mente y el Juego Simbólico. Esta propuesta educativa constará de tres bloques de actividades independientes relacionadas con los tres objetivos planteados, así como una evaluación del resultado del programa. El fin último consistirá en dar respuesta a las necesidades individuales de los alumnos con TEA. ABSTRACT: The purpose of this Degree Final Project is to know the Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), specially related to social communication. To achieve this goal, first of all, a theoretical analysis about this disorder will be carried out. Thus, the result will be the presentation of an educational intervention program that promotes communication with the PECS augmentative system, the Theory of Mind and the Symbolic Game among students aged between five and six years old with ASD. This educational proposal will consist on three blocks of independent activities for the three objectives, as well as an evaluation of the program results. 90 p., Introduction: The CNCDS affect the quality of life of people by their slow progressive deterioration, which generates the need for a permanent caregiver, who is generally a relative, who will require a certain level of skill. Objective: To determine the impact of an educational intervention on the ability to care in family caregivers of patients with CNCDS in a third-level IPS in the city of Bucaramanga, during the period 2017 – 2019. Methodology: Experimental study, with 84 caregivers of patients with NSTEM (39 intervention and 45 control) in the outpatient services and internal medicine of HUB Los Comuneros between 2017-2019. The level of ability prior to the educational intervention was identified and evaluated later. The groups were compared and the change in care ability was analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. Discussion: Most of the caregivers were female, the daily hours of care ranged between 12-24, the greatest support perceived by the patients was the family, the caregivers made use of the ICTs in 52%. In total CAI scores, no significant differences were identified in the groups (p> 0.05), in the dimension of the value improvement was observed in the two groups (p, Introducción: Las ECNT repercuten en la calidad de vida de las personas por su lento deterioro progresivo, lo que genera la necesidad de un cuidador permanente, que en general es un familiar, quien va a requerir de cierto nivel de habilidad. Objetivo: Determinar el impacto que tiene una intervención educativa en la habilidad para el cuidado en cuidadores familiares de pacientes con ECNT en una IPS de tercer nivel en la ciudad de Bucaramanga, durante el periodo 2017–2019. Introduction: vaginal infections affect women of all ages, who have mostly presented the disease at some point in their lives; no differences are related to race or ethnic origin. Objective: to design an educational intervention that increase the level of knowledge about vaginal infection in pregnant women of the medical office "El Gremio No. 1", Baracoa, Guantanamo, from October 2015 to May 2017. Method: it was carried out a pre-experimental study of educational intervention in an intentional non-probabilistic sample of 16 pregnant women. The study was carried out in three stages: diagnostic stage, intervention stage and evaluation stage. The primary data was obtained from the survey applied before and after the intervention. The results were presented in contingency tables and the summary measure the percentage. The variation percentage was used to measure the effectiveness of the intervention. Results: before the intervention, there was evident knowledge about the types of vaginal infection, risk factors and methods of prevention of vaginal infection in pregnancy and application of the technique of cleanliness and the use of boiled water. The study permitted to increase the level of knowledge about the infection after the intervention. Conclusions: the level of knowledge was increased, an aspect that demonstrates the effectiveness of the intervention proposal., Introdução: as infecções vaginais afetam mulheres de todas as idades, que em sua maioria apresentam a doença em algum momento de suas vidas, não havendo diferenças relacionadas à raça ou origem étnica. Objetivo: projetar uma intervenção educacional para aumentar o nível de conhecimento sobre a infecção vaginal no escritório do doutor generalista "El Gremio No. 1", município Baracoa, Guantanamo, no período de outubro de 2015 até maio de 2017. Método: foi realizado um estudo pré-experimental de intervenção educativa em uma amostra intencional não probabilística de 16 gestantes. O estudo foi realizado em três etapas: estágio de diagnóstico, estágio de intervenção e estágio de avaliação. Os dados primários foram obtidos a partir do inquérito aplicado antes e após a intervenção. Os resultados foram apresentados em tabelas de contingência e o resumo mede a porcentagem. A porcentagem de variação foi usada para medir a eficácia da intervenção. Resultados: antes da intervenção, não havia conhecimento evidente sobre os tipos de infecção vaginal, fatores de risco e métodos de prevenção da infecção vaginal na gravidez e aplicação da técnica de limpeza e uso de água fervida. O estudo permitiu aumentar o nível de conhecimento sobre a infecção após a intervenção. Conclusões: o nível de conhecimento foi aumentado, aspecto que demonstra a efetividade da proposta de intervenção., Introducción: las infecciones vaginales afectan a mujeres de todas las edades, que en su mayoría han presentado la enfermedad en algún momento de su vida, no se refieren diferencias en relación con la raza u origen étnico.Objetivo: diseñar una intervención educativa que permita incrementar el nivel de conocimientos sobre infección vaginal en gestantes del consultorio médico "El Gremio No. 1", municipio Baracoa, Guantánamo, en el periodo de octubre de 2015 a mayo de 2017. Método: se realizó un estudio pre-experimental de intervención educativa en una muestra no probabilística intencionada de 16 gestantes. El estudio se realizó en tres etapas: etapa de diagnóstico, etapa de intervención y etapa de evaluación. El dato primario se obtuvo de la encuesta aplicada antes y después de la intervención. Los resultados se presentaron en tablas de contingencia y la medida de resumen el porcentaje. Se utilizó el porciento de variación para medir la efectividad de la intervención. Resultados: antes de la intervención se evidenció bajo conocimiento sobre los tipos de infección vaginal, factores de riesgos y métodos de prevención de la infección vaginal en el embarazo y aplicación de la técnica del aseo y el uso de agua hervida. El estudio permitió incrementar el nivel de conocimientos acerca de la infección después de la intervención Conclusiones: se incrementó el nivel de conocimiento, aspecto que demuestra la efectividad de la propuesta de intervención.

Introduction: the incidence of leptospirosis has increased in years recently in Guantanamo, province. Objective: to characterize the behavior of knowledge about the clinical-epidemiological characteristics of leptospirosis in the students of the Hygiene and Epidemiology career of the Faculty of Medical Sciences Guantanamo. Method: a descriptive cross-sectional study was carried out from April 2011 to March 2012. The universe consisted of 380 students and a sample of 114. The development of this work was based on theoretical, empirical methods and mathematics among which is the historical - logical, analysis - synthesis, inductive - deductive, structural and functional systemic, document analysis, survey, specialist criteria among others. Results: in leptospirosis as an infectious disease, a predominance of medium knowledge in the students surveyed was demonstrated on the concept of Leptospirosis, according to the level of knowledge about the transmission routes of Leptospirosis, the medium level of knowledge predominates; as well as prevention measures.conclusions: it was concluded that the students of the study do not have sufficient knowledge about leptospirosis, so it is necessary to carry out prompt actions to avoid this problem., Introdução: a incidência de leptospirosis elevou-se nos últimos anos na província de Guantánamo. Objetivo: desenhar uma intervenção educativa que permita elevar o nível de conhecimentos sobre as caraterísticas clínico-epidemiológicas da leptospirosis nos estudantes da carreira de Higiene e Epidemiología da Faculdade de Ciências Médicas Guantánamo. Método: realizou-se um estudo descritivo de corte transversal durante o período compreendido entre abril de 2011 até março de 2012. O universo esteve constituído por 380 estudantes e tomou-se uma amostra de 114. Para o desenvolvimento deste trabalho utilizaram-se métodos teóricos, empíricos e matemáticos entre os que se encontra o histórico - lógico, análise - síntese, inductivo - deductivo, sistémico estrutural e funcional, análise de documentos, o inquérito, critérios de especialistas entre outros. Método: se realizó un estudio descriptivo de corte transversal durante el periodo comprendido entre abril de 2016 hasta marzo de 2017. El universo estuvo constituido por 380 estudiantes y se tomó una muestra de 114. Se estudiaron variables, tales como: nivel de conocimientos sobre concepto, vías de transmisión y medidas de prevención de la leptospirosis. Para el desarrollo de este trabajo se utilizaron métodos teóricos, empíricos y matemáticos entre los que se encuentra el histórico-lógico, análisis-síntesis, inductivo-deductivo, sistémico estructural y funcional, análisis de documentos, la encuesta, criterios de especialistas, entre otros. Resultados: se encontró un predominio de mediano conocimiento en los estudiantes encuestados sobre el concepto de leptospirosis y nivel de conocimiento sobre las vías de transmisión, en cuanto a las medidas de prevención el resultado general fue de bajo conocimientos. Conclusiones: se concluyó que los estudiantes del estudio no poseen los conocimientos suficientes acerca de la leptospirosis, por lo que resulta necesaria la pronta realización de acciones para evitar esta problemática.

Relatório de Estágio do Mestrado em Ciências da Educação apresentado à Faculdade de Psicologia e de Ciências da Educação Este relatório pretende descrever o estágio curricular realizado na Casa Abrigo Padre Américo (CAPA), valência da Venerável Ordem Terceira da Penitência de São Francisco da Cidade de Coimbra, para obtenção do grau de Mestre em Ciências da Educação, pela Faculdade de Psicologia e Ciências da Educação da Universidade de Coimbra.O presente documento descreve e transmite a visão, missão e valores da CAPA que se assume como entidade acolhedora do estágio e valência da Venerável Ordem Terceira, que também se carateriza genericamente. Faz-se referência à natureza do público-alvo, considerando os temas da exclusão e inclusão social, da pobreza e também da intervenção educativa, no contexto institucional. O documento, apresenta ainda as atividades desenvolvidas e os projetos implementados, pela estagiária, a sua fundamentação, os seus objetivos, recursos utilizados e respetiva avaliação. No intuito de intervir de forma positiva, procuramos focar-nos no objetivo principal do desenvolvimento dos conhecimentos, a diferentes níveis, por parte dos utentes. A estagiária levou a cabo uma investigação, onde se desenvolveram os seguintes projetos: “Educação para a Cidadania”, “Educação para a Saúde” e, por último, “Português Funcional – Alfabetização”. Com vista à sua implementação, optou-se pela metodologia de investigação-ação.No término do documento, e em síntese, a autora expõe algumas considerações e reflexões finais sobre o processo de estágio, nomeadamente, os aspetos positivos, os aspetos negativos e o que poderia ser melhorado. This report intends to describe the curricular period of training carried through in the Casa Abrigo Padre Américo (CAPA), valency of Venerável Ordem Terceira da Penitência de São Francisco of the City of Coimbra, for attainment of the Master degree in Education Sciences, from the faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences of the University of Coimbra.The present document describes and transmits the vision, mission and values of CAPA, which was the welcoming entity of the period of training and valency of the Venerável Ordem Terceira and that we also characterized generically. We make a reference to the nature of the target-public, considering the subjects of exclusion and, simultaneous, of social inclusion, due to several conditions. In parallel we present the educative intervention, undertook in the institutional context, namely the developed activities and the implemented projects, by the trainee, the theoretical framework, the stated objectives, resources and respective evaluation. With the intention to intervene in a positive way, we focuses on the main objective for developing, on the different levels, the beneficiaries. The trainee created an Action Research methodology for implementing the following projects: “Citizenship Education”, “Health Education” and, finally, “Functional Portuguese-literacy”.At the end of the document, the author displays a synthesis of some final considerations and reflections on the period of the training process. Curs acadèmic: 2017/2018 The aim of this Master’s dissertation i s to raise of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) from an inclusive perspective in an ordinary educational centre. In order to do this, we will begin by defining the concept of ASD and its main characteristics; after that we will show the concept of inclusion and how this concept is related to the disorder. Finally, a proposal for raising awareness among students, teaching staff and families will be presen ted, as well as the results obtained from this intervention. This research defend s the need to sensitize the community about ASD, to make people with ASD fell like any other member of this society. El objetivo de este Trabajo de Fin de Máster se centra en una propuesta de sensibilización del Trastorno del Espectro Autista desde una mirada inclusiva en un centro educativo ordinario. Para ello comenzaremos definiendo el concepto de TEA y las principales características, a continuación, se muestra el concepto de inclusión y su relación con este trastorno. Este trabajo defiende la necesidad de sensibilizar a la comunidad sobre el TEA para conseguir que las personas que prese nten este trastorno se sientan como un ciudadano o una ciudadana más de esta sociedad.
